I was looking for a home for my MIL and found this senior living apartments and am SO glad I did! I called and spoke to Brandi about the details and she was super helpful and diligent. She went above and beyond for us! She really cares about her tenants and is such a sweet, kind person. My MIL couldn’t be happier there. Location is great, close to everything and the facility is clean and beautiful. I’m so grateful that my MIL is living there! Thank you Brandi and The Portofino :)

Friendly Efficient Helpful Affordable Very Very Nice

Very lovely Apartment Community for Senior Citizens. To qualify for residency, you have to be 55 yrs. and older. This is not an Assisted Living Community. The rent is based on your income. They have a lot of activities that the folks can participate in. They have a Theater, pool, laundry machines, exercise equipment, etc. Check out Primrose of Pasadena 😀!!

I have been at primrose for almost 2 years and the staff and other residents are very friendly and helpful. They fix things in a timely manner. I have never had any problems here. I would recommend this place to anyone

I like living here for the most part. The people that live here and work here are very nice. I am upset about our elevator. It broke on Friday before the office closed and it is still broke. I called the office today and was told that they are coming on Monday to fix it.That means we have to go all weekend with no elevator. At least the office could have put notes in our doors to let us know that it was going to be out all weekend.I dont know all the halls in our building but on my hall alone 5 of 9 people use a walker/wheelchair and can not go down the stairs. I hope we dont have an emergency.

I was happy but now there is no parking 2 men have taken 3 parking spaces ..bought 2 vehicles and 3 motor bikes occupied 3 parkings. Management dont care? We pay too much rent to not

I dont live here, was actually on line looking for a friend. Being as my background is in property management for affordable housing, mainly seniors, these comments made my decision not to bother. Sorry owners but I think you should look more closely at the negative reviews and your management staff. Yes I know there will be complaints which are unfounded or exaggerated but to me there seems to be issues that are negatively impacting your property. Yes, some of my residents drove me crazy sometimes, thats life but I always treated them with respect. And if you have prospective residents in the office and your manager goes off on a tangent, well they wont be back and will surely tell everyone. Just my opinion and thought you should be aware is all.

Having a good experience so far. Everyone is very nice and helpful. If you have any questions or concerns, they take care of it quickly. There is a calendar with daily activities, such as movie night, bingo, transportation to Medical Appointments, Grocery shopping and more. I highly recommend Primrose, come visit and see for yourself.

The elevator is down and have been for over a week. How are people in wheelchairs supposed to move around. The office has been rude and very unhelpful. How can a senior apartment complex just stand the 2nd and 3rd floors occupants like that? Absolutely horrible

My mother has been on the waiting list for more than 3 years. Shes called and visited the office in person only to be let down after learning that she was somehow moved back a few numbers on the list. She desperately needs and wants a place to call home and still, no progress.

I see people only tend to review negatively, I found the staff to be very helpful all the time and also this is a very nice place.

It is a nice clean place. Staff is pleasant. Friendly people here.

This place has gone downhill since I moved in here a few years ago. Gates are broken and open more than working. Trash dumpster compactor has broken down 3 times in past year, causing a dumpster to be brought in which is not emptied often enough. Various water leaks go unattended for weeks. Damage to parking covers goes unattended for weeks. We had two consecutive weekends with no hot water. Grass cutting this year has been sporadic and poorly done. The pool is cleaned once a week, regardless of how it looks. Now we are told it will be closed from Friday to Tuesday, apparently because it was not cleaned this Monday, with current temps pushing 100 degrees.But they dont hesitate to tell everyone to get their rent in on time. They do have 3x/week trash p/u at door, and several activities, if you choose to attend them.

...4 months after I moved here there was a leak from the apartment above me, two weeks before Christmas this happen. After calling about the leak 4 different times they finely fixed it, in the apartment above me...Told them not to worry about fixing my ceiling till after the Holidays....I had to keep calling them in order to get my ceiling fixed...Oh what a mistake that was...they totally messed it up, patch it with dry wall mud and never to this day has it been repaired fully...I have a big 2 ×2 foot area between my kitchen and living room that is a total mess...that was almost 2 years ago. Last summer the pool was close for a couple of weeks during hot weather and again this year the same thing, all because they dont know how to take care of it. For the rent u have to pay to live here, they should be able to pay a real pool man to take care of the pool, instead they let there so called handy men take care of it...The manager is a total witch, I dont know how anybody can stand her. They have had so many office staff come and go because of the manager in the two years Ive lived here...I have heard more people then I can count, complain about the manager here...I just dont understand why the company of a big complex like this would tolerate someosomeone like her...she is just down right, rude, mean and nasty...

Wow, I was actually thinking about talking with (Nubia) about making a move to this place but after I read the reviews I think I will continue looking???Thats really dissapointing as I was also going to recommend this place to my aunt who is in desperate need for a community that offers a more social outlook for residents!!!Sincerely dissapointed,Penny

Firstly, I will commend the facility for being on the nicer side. It has a nice layout, and the rooms are nice sized.Now, I was helping my grandmother move into these apartments, because she recently had surgery and needed a driver. The manager - a woman whoms name I cant remember - is my main complaint. She is out right rude, obnoxiously loud, and actually grabbed my grandmothers car keys to tell us that the garage clicker on it for her former apartments is better than what they offer. So she put her own product down and told us thats how things are.Then, she decides to drag a huge ladder through the lobby, one that was a size easily carried by a woman of her stature, and scrape it across the flooring, leaving scratches all throughout. Afterwards, she slammed several doors, then slammed things around in her office WHILE POTENTIAL TENANTS ARE WAITING. She is rude when speaking, yells so loudly that you cant speak to a leading agent, and made the entire visit unpleasant.I cannot actually believe a company would allow her to be their representation of their business.

Friendly, helpful Office staff, Maint. Super & Resident Coord.Maintenance requests have been resolved w/in 24 hr when circumstances allow.

Wow they just got a new manager here she jacking up all the rents one women her rent up $200. Guess she trying to make herself a name here. A lot of the people that live here told me they are moving out. Soon you have a pick of the apts. after they all move out lolol.

I wish I could give less stars. This is supposed to be an apartment for seniors but the elevator is constantly broken. My mom is 72 with a prosthetic leg and the front office AND maintenance workers refused to help her carry her luggage down from the 3rd floor when the elevator was broken again.

The elevators are often broke, the security gates often dont work, the pool isnt heated and often isnt open, the transport van either doesnt work or theres no one to drive it, and dont get too comfortable, the rent will rise by $100 a month when you renew, tough on a fixed income.

Want to thank Staff and Nubia for always being very professional and Friendly working under pressure . Very clean facilities .
