I believe I have found a Mercedes mechanic in Jeff Wood. He doesnt change a part because the inspection says to look at it. He uses new parts when warranty insurance company tries to go cheap. I believe these decisions are better left to the owner and mechanic. I am very happy so far. I highly recommend him.
