Genius Bar review. Terrible experience. Had a 2pm appointment. Checked in at 2:01pm but didnt get any help for 15 minutes. Turns out the person, who supposedly checked me in, had instead cancelled my appointment. When I decided to talk to another person after not getting help for 15 minutes, she put me on the BACK of the waiting list! After waiting for another 15 minutes, talked with another person who put me on the top of the waiting list. Waited another 10 minutes before finally Lorenzo came and fixed the issue in 10 min. Waited 50 min for a 10 min repair even with appointment due to incompetent staff.Lesson: dont wait for someone to help you even if you were told you were checked in and had an appointment. Also, dont expect any apologies.
The store is very clean and sanitized. Also the employees who work there are very helpful and enthusiastic. Overall I really enjoyed the experience here
I usually buy my Apple products online on my corporate account as Ive had a lot of bad experiences in physical stores. Apple employees are usually more arrogant and unhelpful compared to Microsoft and Best Buys. I had an especially terrible experience at the Burlingame location.However, I usually have pretty good experiences here. Ephesia was very patient and helpful in trading in an old iphone for a new XR. She did a great job putting on the protective screen for 2 phones. The check in at the front was also expedient.
I went to this store to see and look around while wearing my neck gaiter with A Christian Cross but this Asian Security lady tells me to wear a face surgical mask even though I wear my neck gaiter mask and she said they will not allow it. So therefore I decided to leave the store and throw the surgical mask away. If you are Christian, please dont go to this store because this is persecution against Christians including myself. This asian security lady needs to respect my religious rights.
Fan-bloody-tastic service. Beautiful store. Large range of Apple products and accessories right in the Stanford Mall ...beside Tesla. Always a great experience and worth dropping in just to see whats new. The checkout experience always makes me smile. The staff are super helpful and interesting to chat with too.
Awesome spot for Apple store! My wife bought iPad for my mom here.
Had some trouble with sticky keys. Made an appointment online with genius bar. There was a wait time of a week. I was on dot and was in out of the store in 10 minutes. Tech guy just told me that blowing compressed air around the keys should be enough. Now observing other people I could see that if you are late by 10 mins, you might be denied an appointment. Techies were super efficient. Location on maps was incorrect and I put in an edit to update it.

We do not have appointment because it is raining today we think some people may not come. Yes, they let us in after a few mins waiting. The staff are nice and patient. Genius Bar review. Brought my MBP 16 in because the headphone port didnt seat 3.5mm inputs after 5 months of use. Got an implied accusation that I had paper in the jack. I dont keep paper near the jack, and I use professional grade headphones only (Beyerdynamic). I really looked at him a bit puzzled. Really? MBP is meticulously clean (my old Army standard). They said they would call me in a couple days about it and not take any action that costs me anything without my okay. Commucation was transactional and small talk felt artifical. It was a bad experience. Experience reminded me of mistreatment when I was young because I looked different. I hope no one else has an experience like this. It didnt feel good.

Ive been an Apple customer for over 15 years, Ive always been well attended.But my latest shopping and custumer service experiences at the store have not been treated with due respect.On 11/18/19 I went to the store to buy an apple watch, I found this employee 1 (picture) in the display and asked for help because I wanted to make the purchase, he did not give me attention, looked at me with the utmost disrespect, and asked me to go to another attendant. The employee 2 was busy I waited for 5 minutes and had no opportunity to start the purchase.I went back to the employee 1 (pictured) begging for help, he refused again and called a employee 3 who was very kind and helped me make my purchase.Although I made the purchase, the sellers feeling of disrespect and decriminalization (photo) ended my day.I wonder if my clothes make a difference in the service I get at the Apple store?Does my skin color make a difference in the service I get at the Apple store?Does my latin american accent make a difference in the service i get at the apple store?I feel disrespected.

What a great design for a store. Inside out, all aspects of architecture. You enter and there is no doubt you buy a quality product.Service was super slow without being there at rush hour. The seller we had did not have much experience in his job.
Came here to get my Apple Watch fixed, the staff were very helpful. I scheduled an appointment and I was out in less than 30 minutes. The store is spotless and I really enjoyed coming. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone needing technical support with their Apple device.
The staff was well-informed, courteous, and nicely attentive. When I took time to try out circle back the Mac Air, the employee who was tending to me would circle back appropriately to see if he could help.I reserve 5 stars for geniuses:-)

COVID-19 has modified how many stores operate. As of this date of the review, if you need instore services, you will be asked to make a shopping reservation. I would highly recommend instore pick up as the least stressful and most time efficient way if you already know what you want and have an idea of what youre getting.I think more than anything, this store is overwhelmed by the volume of people coming through during peak times. They do their best to help with managing the demand and meeting various customer needs from purchasing new products, trade-ins, and repair services. If you chose to browse instore with the intention to buy, I highly recommend first looking online to see if their store has in stock the product(s) you plan to purchase.Staff do their best to help you and get you what you need. Friendly and very courteous service.
Unbelievable! Got disconnected twice. Simply wanted an appt to look at the new iPhone 12. Then was told I couldn’t make an appt on the phone and had to go online to do this. TERRIBLE SET UP!!!!!!!!!

Racist Employees!! Stay away if not are not white.Its an experience few months old but it needs to be shared. I went to pick up an iPhone pro 11 ordered online to the shop. I shared the reservation code after walking in and the employee went to the back of store to pick up the phone and handed it over to me and I signed the acknowledgment pick up - So far so good. Once I signed it the employee told me to leave the shop!!!! Why? I had no communication with the employee and was well dressed and I also work in a R&D company in the Stanford Research Park nearby.I left without saying anything but felt very hurt for asked to leave for no reason. Every other customers who was not of color was greeted with smile.
This has to be one of the most innovative apple stores Ive come across. The staff is really nice and I was looking around and one of the staff members explained to me how they had to bring the glass (which they used to make the walls) by helicopter which I found really cool. The back of this place is full of demos and cool little contests for drawing on iPads. Definitely a great store.

Great staff, very helpful and patient. We spend about 90 mins (but felt like hours) buying a new phone for my mom, two different staff members helped us. One walked us through the options then gave us some space to think about it, absolutely no pressure, he made a point anyone could help us as none of them are on commission or anything. When we were ready another staff member help us with the transaction, accessories, setup and everything else.
Don’t trust what they tell you if you call. I was completely misinformed and sent on a wild goose chase! I called this store to find out about a return for a Magic Mouse that I had purchased in the last year that had died. They told me that I wouldn’t need the receipt or the box that it came in but that I should make an appointment. So I was transferred but the schedulers told me ‘no appointment needed’.When I arrived at the store it was a completely different story. They told me that I absolutely needed the receipt and wasted my time talking in circles. I talked to the manager but he wasted more of my time. It was obvious that they just don’t care.
It’s an Apple Store; if you’ve been to one, then you have a pretty good idea what to expect. This one is on the larger side, so seems to have more capacity for Genius Bar appointments than other, smaller Apple Stores in the area.
They want only money. I cant return mac, they make every possible reason do not receive mac. Do not believe who say good things about this store. Very bad stuff. Go to see and buy online.
We purchase small quantities of apple devices and accessories for app testing at my work, and this is always our go-to location. First - there’s easy street side access. Second - service is blazing fast on weekdays. Third - the location is spectacular on a sunny day. The only other location nearby that nearly matches these criteria is the Apple campus store in Cupertino, but that one gets inundated by tourists and is fairly small.
Beautiful and clean
The young man who helped us was excellent. We purchased a couple of items and he spent close to 2 hours helping us. We even came back in with questions and he stopped what he was doing to help.
Easy mall parking. Nice spacious store. Due to store being busy, may take a little time to get a salesperson to help you out with questions or recommendations. Otherwise, a nice location in the Stanford shopping center.
We went for information and after waiting for about 7 min. A very helpful and friendly sales rep responded all our questions. They need a better organization. When we came in we didnt know where to go to get help
I went to Apple Store to find tech support today, the stuff told me I need to wait 1.5 hour to get a specialist, it is fine so I went shopping. However, after one hour I found I missed the line! Worst apple store ever!! I wish I can rate it 0 stars.They don’t know what they are doing. ZACK the manager does NOT know how to run his store.When you walk in you have to look for help. Then when you get a person to help you, the person helping you is looking for help, because they don’t know what they are doing.In my case it was my AirPods and long story, don’t lose the right or left ear piece and go through the process of buying a replacement. It was such an awful experience. This is my last apple product I am purchasing. I had to waste my time checking in on them if the job was getting done. But lucky me they had no clue what they were doing.If any of the apple employees are reading this I am reaching out to cooperate with your lack of customer service and overall attitude. Went there to have my dads phone looked at for him while he is in the hospital and addicted to his phone.Was surprised to see how big and accessable it was, well staffed and very knowledgeable staff. We checked in and waited for a short time considering how busy they were.The employee who assisted me was quick and knew what to do in a very short time we were done and out.Definitely recommend the location and staff.

The WORST SERVICE YOU CAN IMAGINE from the manager at the Apple store.I purchased an Apple computer with a headphones. The headphones were broken out of the box! The store wouldn’t take it back. So I shipped it to Apple. They VOIDED THE WARRANTY and They sent it back stating that I had broken them ( absolutely not true, I hadn’t even used them for one second! ).APPLE HAS BECOME ATROCIOUS AT CUSTOMER SERVICE .Apple used to have excellent customer service. NO MORE !I give Apple one star simply because I can’t give them zero.
One of the larger Apple stores and does not have the crowded, noisy feel that many mall-based Apple stores do. There is a lot to explore here or if you need assistance, area to sit down and get your devices out. I was there for a repair and was handled on time for my appointment.
Very disappointed. I understand that therere more people purchasing the new iPhone but could you please have someone to take care of customer with other needs. For purchasing a phone case, they asked me to stay at a specific area for 30 minutes, not to walk around, in case they were not able to find me. They need to have a better waiting list system.
To be clear, our family only buys Apple products and our grown children use Apple products also. My spouse found out the mouse he bought with his new laptop last year, we expected the products to be excellent. The $80 mouse stopped functioning after 6 months and we had the record of the invoice on our account. Did not have the paper invoice. The person we dealt with at the Apple store said it was not bought through Apple even though a call made to Apple confirmed it was made at the time of purchase. We had to go back and search again and go to a different Apple store where it was replaced easily. Unfortunately, the snarky attitude of our experience was off putting and surprising. Even more disturbing is that the new mouse does not function but we are not visiting the Stanford Palo Alto Apple store to resolve it.

Took me half an hour to pick up an online order. There were a ton of employees, but most of them were focused on reeling in new customers rather than helping the long line of customers who just needed to pick up the items they had already paid for.Also, its kind of strange how the storefront for a leading tech company in the heart of silicon valley cant come up with a better solution than to have people stand in line for 20 minutes. There were plenty of seats; build some queueing system and at least let us sit while we wait.
The story is, this February, I met a Ms.Pretty, my Destiny.I croon a song that I don’t know the name, and asked her help to know where is the song, of course she told me that song is Maroon 5 What lovers do, then she sang this beautiful song very nice. I fell in love. I just know she worked in the Apple Store, with short hair, and big sweet eyes. I wonder how can i speak thanks to her, and how can i speak my love my sotry to her.

Zipped by here right as they were closing (around 8:45PM) but the service was still amazing. They were very patience, helpful, and kind. I would definitely recommend booking an appointment in advance.
Went to pick up a preordered iPhone. After waiting in the line for 30 mins to pick up, the delivery person was really rude and totally felt unwelcoming. She said you can leave the store now after handing out the iPhone. Not a experience you expect when buying a 1000$ item.. really bad.
I bought a new laptop and would like to backup my iPhone before going on an international trip. For some reasons, the passcode I entered was not accepted anymore and after a many tries, my iPhone locked me out even though my thumb print is still valid. After spending 2 days without any contact information while traveling, I went to the Apple Center in Stanford Shopping Center and waited 90 minutes for an expert. He told me unsympathetically that the only thing he can do for me was to reset my iPhone and wipe out all of my data. I will never buy another phone from Apple and will never visit Apple Center again. Apple always treats its customers like children and their products are overpriced and as condescending as their staff.

We had really nice family experience here, even without purchasing anything. They have classes for kids and adults. Sphero maze run was very engaging and good for kids 4-12. The store was not packed and the staff was very attentive, encouraging and patient.
It is such a joke that you can no longer get anything accomplished at these stores. Cant buy anything, cant get anything repaired, cant talk to an expert. Come back on Sunday when they have an opening What a JOKE. I love the products but HATE the support and storefronts.

OMG!!! The store manager’s attitude is so bad. I’ve never seen any person who worked at apple store with such a bad attitude. My dad can’t find the original receipt of his iPhone but his phone was hacked and cannot log in with his account info. He had taken the card he purchased the phone, his passport and all info that may be needed to the store to prove that it is his phone. However the store manager still insisted that for security reason they need the ORIGINAL receipt.

Very long wait times for Genius Bar. I waited more than 30 minutes past my appointment time before being helped. I checked in over 20 minutes before my appointment which I thought would help. I saw over 10 others waiting at the Genius Bar too. Seems they’re understaffed.
Had an issue with my iPhone, had a genius at another Apple Store, nothing can be done.Enter: Dallas....this kid blew me away! He was patience, persistent and got it done!! Seriously looked like I had lost significant data. Dallas was relentless and I was restored :)

I understand why many people give this store such a poor review. I was in the market to buy a Mac book Pro, 27 Mac and an apple watch. I had a few quick question so I decided to go to the store in person. Waited until the store opened and once I walked it was totally ignored and no one was around to help me. Lots of associates standing around but none even acknowledged or asked if I needed any assistance. There were several employees talking to each other and not helping anyone.After 15 minutes I felt I would take my business elsewhere where I felt the associates where more aware and deserving of the sale.As a store owner, i would do everything I could go make sure my employees are acknowledging and making people feel welcome in my store. Not what I would expect nor typically get from Apple.
A lot of self impressed folks. Waited a long time against back wall as told for my turn to get help. When I pointed that out to the customer who jumped in front, he was gracious. The Apple flunkie acknowledged it, said he was going to get more help, and disappeared completely. Like a snobby IKEA
Very Very disappointment! The customer service of this store was so poor!! I will never go back this store again. I purchased the silicone case($39) for iphone X and it started peeling and cracking on several spots within a few months. I went to store for replacement because it has one year warranty. But they didnt try to help me instead they blamed me to drop the phone and caused the case cracked and peeling. I was very shocked how they concluded such result and no matter how I explained to them that was the quality issue because I have used several different cases and have never seen this type of peeling and cracking on other cases, but they didnt care and very impatiently and told me that I didnt qualify for warranty. I ask them to show me the document why I could not claim warranty and they rudely asked me to go back to search online to find it. I went back and searched online and there were so many people reported similar issues. I called online support and the online customer service was much better and knew the quality issue of this type of case and immediately sent me a new one for replacement.
I went to this location with my daughter to purchase a phone, we were directed to a table. Once we arrived and waited for about 15 minutes for the employee to be free, we were sent to a different table. We were informed that a specialist was be with us shortly, after about 20 minutes my daughter went to inquire as to when we should be expecting our specialist. She was informed that there were no specialists on the floor, saying they will be right out. 15 minutes later we left, seeing as people who had arrived after us had purchased phones and left. I would not recommend visiting this location, it is a horrible representation of Apple. I recommend the Stoneridge and Burlingame locations, they are great!!

I love apple products and store experience.This time i was looking for i watch charger by Belkin and i had to go through 3 associate to find it as she was just sending in different places to find myself instead of helping to find it.Also while checkout they 2 girls were busy playing on the phones and talking. Also she was supposed to send me the email receipt and didnt send it also and said dont worry you will get it soon.Bad choice of associate by apple this time at this store.I wish i could give 5 stars like their products.
Really busy store. it services Menlo park Atherton and mountain view. That is a mass amount of people. It is however way better than the Apple store off of University avenue in Palo Alto. The Stanford mall is also pretty nice to walk around.

This is going to be a bit long. So if you are impatient, just read this:WORST customer service EVER.During an earlier trip to an Apple authorized repair shop, I learned that my iPhones screen adhesive was non-standard.I had never had the phone serviced before and I got the phone directly from this Apple store. So I was quite concerned about the fact that an Apple store would hand me a phone with non-standard part.So today when I was at the store trying to get my battery replaced, I decided to ask about the glue.I informed the guy who helped me that I got the phone from this store but somehow I had non-standard glue in it. He immediately said if I had a third party battery, they would not change my battery. I patiently replied that I was talking about the glue, not the battery. I then informed him I had the original Apple battery since I never changed it.Things went south from here really fast. He claimed that I was bringing in a device that could be a danger to the technician since it had a 3rd party battery. I re-iterated that he could see in his system that I got this phone from this store and I had never had it serviced by a third party. He submitted he cant see the service I had done by a third party. Then he went on saying that I kept bringing up the battery issue and it made me sound very suspicious and he believed I knew I had third party battery and was lying about it. Then he added if he found out I have third party battery in it, I would be in big trouble.I had no idea what he was talking about since I was asking about the glue, never the battery. The GLUE!I also asked him what would happen if they break the phone during the battery replacement. He said no, they just dont do that. I shared the fact that my phone was broken last time I came in for a battery replacement.He repeated again that they dont break phones.I finally asked the guy to send someone else to help me since it would seem nothing I said was getting through to him and he wasnt answering any of my questions. And he just flat out refused to get someone else and told me to leave if I didnt want the repair done. I refused to leave and he just said, and I quote, just sign the service agreement and you can get out of my hair and we wont have to see each other ever again.I eventually spoke with Sheldon, who was the leader on duty. He promised to follow up and address the employees attitude problem. Sheldon was courteous and professional.But still, its really not worth your sanity if you encounter one of the rude employees there. So perhaps its best to get your service done elsewhere.Oh yeah, I never got my answer on why a phone directly issued by this store had incorrect screen adhesive in it.
The worst Apple experience ever!The customer service I received was really deplorable. I went in to buy a Mac Pro and as I was asking a few questions of the rep, he told me he needed to go to a team building meeting in the back office! Apparently this was a lot more important than the sale and a few questions. I really felt very disrespected, as though I just didnt matter. I walked out of the store and never came back. The store in Palo Alto is so completely different its like a different company.But the store as a whole has a really bad vibe.

Its a good store, like any Apple store, but it takes ages to be seen by the genius bar. Even with my appointment I waited 25 minutes before I was helped.
The Stanford Apple Store is by far the smallest Apple Store you will find. However, that might be because of the towering Microsoft Store next door. Although this store is tiny, its packed to the brim with customers, unlike the Microsoft Store that has room to spare.
They sold defective iPhone products, the iphone doesn’t work completely completely after 5 months, no water! No broken screen! Juse it is not charged!!! I still have recipes with me! They refused to exchang it, if i want to repair it, i need to be changed by myself!!!
