What a wonderful place! I am new to Palm Springs and needed to get a hair cut. Was recommended to this place by an article I read in a magazine. First off, they were responsive and called back right away for my appointment. Had a great cut and also had a perfect pedicure. Highly recommend!

The pedicure was through and she did a nice job. The Brazilian wax, she didnt wear gloves and thats the main reason its missing a star. Otherwise the salon and spa were clean, nice, and they were very accommodating.

Had an amazing prenatal massage with Simon. Mamas, I highly recommend him. It was truly therapeutic. He uses firm pressure, which I wanted, but can do less if you prefer. I walked out feeling taller!

These guys were very professional. I am very happy with my nail art and the hair treatment they offered to me. I could also talk to them freely and they were very responsive. You impressed me much! I must strongly recommend your services to everyone! Cheers for your success!

I was very happy with my first experience at Salon 119. Mishele gave me a great haircut! I just moved to town and was very nervous about finding a new stylist. I couldn’t have asked for a better cut. The salon was also clean and observed all of the current Covid protocols so I felt very safe. Such a relief to know I found my new salon and stylist!

Best facial gal in the desert!!!

I have lived in four different cities in the past 5 years, and have always had a hard time finding a hair stylist that I like. I am picky and have a hard time saying Thats not what I want! mid-way through a haircut, so this often leaves me dissatisfied and disappointed.When I moved to Palm Springs, my hairs life changed. I met Mickey Morrison during my first visit to Salon 119, who was not only honest with me but gave me the haircut I wanted (and made it look even better than I hoped!). Since then, I have gone back regularly for haircuts and she has always outdone herself. Most recently, I just underwent a huge change (going from long to a short, choppy bob), and I trusted Mickey that she would make the change a success. And sure enough, she did! I highly recommend her - shes funny, smart, and best a all, a fabulous, trustworthy hair stylist!Mickeys not the only great thing about Salon 119. Every time Im there I see every other stylist producing fabulous cut after fabulous cut. Lori is so sweet and bubbly and remembers your name, and Nikki in the upstairs day spa (who does waxes, among other treatments) is great.Best of all, Salon 119 is not overpriced, as are many places in Palm Springs. I recommend you go here for your hair!

I walked in on a Wednesday morning looking for some deep conditioning and a trim. They were super welcoming and were able to give me an appointment in the afternoon with Fred Herdt.He was Fabulous!!We decided that I was ready for a new look, instead of just a trim and he gave me a hairstyle that has gotten non-stop compliments from all of my co-workers and friends. The salon was comfortable and friendly and Fred is a great stylist and so much fun to work with

Great staff, central location, and were so pleasant and flexible. They fit me in last minute for a blowout, makeup and manicure for a wedding I was attending and they made me look great! I would go to them again in a heartbeat.

Nikki is a skin magician! I came in for a facial with concerns on hyper pigmentation at 47 that was aging me. I had one spot that she helped me remove. I later came back for a full chemical peel. At this time she also set me up with a simple skin protocol and products which I could easily follow and keep to. Three months later my skin isn’t recognisable. It looks at least a decade younger and clearly glows with great texture. I am going makeup free and it looks great. I can’t recommend Nikki highly enough. Truly transformative.

My first time booking, I walked out . First of all $45 for a fill and an extra $40 on top for Gel so $85 for a Gel Fill. I found to be over priced, im also not of Caucasian decent and i had a wrap on my head for my braids first thing i got when i walked in was looks, and a comment oh what you got under there what does it look like ? My braids . i showed Christine a picture of what i wanted and she sounded so hesitant like it couldnt be done if you want to own a nail salon and attempt to be upscale learn how to do more than the basics if youre licensed . I get my nails done on a regualr basis and never have i been to any nail salon to charge so much or was it because of how i walked in ? Hmm . Im not ignorant nor am i uneducated or lack in my speech learn how to be diverse and get over your ignorance . I am of Hispanic decent yes i have braids and yes they need to be wrapped . Get your noses out the air for a little bit . have a great day

Not at all happy with nails done by Athena. 3 tips broke off the night i had them done and another the following morning. acrylics, coffin shape done way too small. Charged $65.00 for a full set, it took 2.5 hours and she didnt paint all the way to the cuticle. I asked for a refund and was told no, only that she would fix them, pass.

Im from out of state, chose this salon based on Yelp reviews. Showed up 10 mins early, stylist showed up to the salon 20 mins later, 10 mins after my appt time. No reasons why. But she was very friendly and nice. Did my root touch up color great, trimmed my hair, styled it great and Im overall happy with the outcome. Tipped her 30% for her efforts. Salon is run top notch efficiently by front desk and is clean and stylish. Convenient parking lot in back behind Indian Canyon Dr.

Went in for a set of acrylic nails. Technician said she had been doing nails for 25+ years. They were uneven, some way thicker than others, and it cost us a fortune... Never went back!

So I just moved to Palm Springs a few days before Dec. 29th 2017. I walked in and they took me. Which at that point I was happy. They said they were busy when I first sat down all 4 lady’s were doing nails but finished within minutes of me sitting down. I asked for a pedicure and a full set. They told me that pedicures were completely booked. But only 1 person was getting a pedicure when I walked in. That lady then got her nails done after the pedicure. After about 10 minutes of sitting there while that lady was getting things ready 2 lady’s were done. 1 went for lunch the other was just walking around either on the phone or looking for something to do. I then showed The lady doing my nails what I wanted. She says ok like that exact picture I say yes! It was a ombré pink and white with my ring finger with chrome! Then A slight ballerina shape. Instead of telling me up front she couldn’t do it, She started. I am going to school for my license in cosmetology. So for it to be better for the customer it’s good to put a clear acrylic layer on the bottom before putting color acrylic on. So I figured that’s what she was doing! Boy was I wrong! She didn’t do the shape I wanted, didn’t do the ombré I asked for, and didn’t do chrome! She also did them way shorter than what I wanted! I walked out of there pissed! She did NOTHING I asked for! She couldn’t even file properly! They were not smooth at all and looked like I had at least 2 mountains on each finger! She said she did nails for 25+ years! I will never go there again! And I will make sure my friends don’t waist there money or time here!!So not only did she do a bad job but she didn’t build The nail properly. So my stress point cracked before the two weeks. And nails are to last at least 2 weeks! A nail snapped at the pressure point on Tuesday 9th 2018 in the morning! 4 days before even reaching my exact 2 week point! I was also charged way to much!
