Fantastic staff and equipment! They came in and found out I had two teeth that needed refilling after I went to an other horrible dentist, told me they’d give me a temporary filling for FREE; which helped me immensely, while I decided on whether or not I would get it filled with my old dentist or this one. Needless to say I will be coming back ASAP!

Did not remember to sign the prescription for painkillers and treated me like i was a drug addict when i asked for painkillers. I have an impacted wisdom tooth and a bad abcess underneath a molar. After giving me a written estimate he refused to do the extraction. Use this dental office at your own risk.

Dr. Jordan is great! He explained my (extensive) treatment plan extremely well and took time with me when going over different options. He was amazing with my extraction, I literally had zero pain and it was stress free. He has a great way of articulating his dental procedures in a way that a non-medical expert, such as myself, can easily understand. Ive visited many different dentists having lived in many different places and Florida Family Dentistry is by far the best.

I have been going to Florida Family Dental for over two years.My previous Dentist treated me for over 30 years and was a close friend, based on that relationship It was difficult for me to trust any Dentist. I will say that Dr Jordan Johnston, has surpassed all of my expectations, he is highly proficient, caring, and has earned my trust.My wife and I actually look forward to having our teeth cleaned. Jessica Palmer our Hygienist, uses a numbing gel before she cleans our teeth, always has a smile on her face, and is kind, thorough, and gentle. She takes her time and our teeth shine when she is done.The practice is run professionally, every caution taken, regarding HIPPA laws and patient confidentiality.The spacious waiting area is equipped with a TV, free bottles of water, and comfortable swivel leather chairs.They offer a Family Saving plan, which has worked to our advantage. They also offer Care One financing. I highly recommend them.

My dental hygienist Christine G is excellent and thorough. Dr. Travis Ray is a great dentist - and I am a nervous patient. Both of them handle that well! Very clean office, seen on time, efficient and polite front office staff. I drive 90 minutes to this office and its worth it.

My family and I have been patients here for 25 years. During one two-year stint, we went to a different dental practice because of a change in insurance. After two years, we decided we would rather switch back to Florida Family Dentistry and be self-pay than deal with a mediocre dentist. This is one of the best run businesses in Palm Coast. They are always pleasant to deal with AND they provide excellent dental care.

Everyone who works at Florida Family Dentistry is soooo nice. The dentist who I see regularly is Dr. Jordan Johnston. He is gentle and kind and, most of all, does not hurt you. I think hes terrific; however,, everyone I meet that goes to Florida Family Dentistry says the same about their dentist :) From the minute you enter the building to the time you leave, you will be treated with kindness and respect. I couldnt be happier!

My family has been going to Florida Family Dentistry for years. Weve always had positive experiences. I have a child who used to be very anxious at a pediatric dentist, this is no longer the case here. The staff is top notch- from office staff, to hygienists, and of course the dentists. I was referred to them and it was the best thing that could have happened to me. I had neglected my teeth for over a decade and was treated poorly by other dentists when I finally decided to do something about my teeth, Greg and the staff there made me feel so comfortable and never made me feel bad about my teeth instead they made me feel good about the decision I had made to fix them. I have since sent a few friends and my girlfriend and we have all been more than pleased with them. I wont go anywhere else ever again. Side note Greg was awesome and played music of my choice in the room for me during my visits: ) thanks for such a great experience in an uncomfortable time for me with my teeth!

Yesterday, I had my 6 month cleaning. Lydia is my dental hygienist and, as with everyone at this practice, shes superb. Ive been a patient here for a number of years & highly recommend it.

Christine is very professional and knowledgeable. She only schedules work that needs to be done for the session. No extra Doctor reviews or xrays unless needed due to schedule or exam.

The young lady that cleans my teeth does a fantastic job. She is very professional and thorough. A pleasure to deal with on a not so much pleasurable experience.

Although my appointment was very early in the morning, the staff at Family Dentistry appeared to be wide eyed and bushy tailed. The very same program was on the TV but I couldnt change it because I couldnt find the clicker, so I read a golf magazine. Then my name was called and I had another great cleaning. After 25 years of neglecting my teeth I went to Family Dentistry which was recommended to me by a friend.The staff was very friendly and the place was neat and clean.My dentist, Sely Hamner, kept me informed about the procedure she was performing at all times. My family and I have been frequenting this practice for years. As a matter of fact, we moved to DeBary in 2012 but continue to come to Palm coast for all of our dentistry needs. Peggy had us at hello years ago and even though she no longer practices, the rest of the staff are amazing and definitely worth the trip. They are friendly, knowledgeable, organized and always professional. Our fifteen-year-old daughter looks forward to going to the dentist, if that tells you anything. You can request a heavy hand if you like a really deep cleaning or a lighter touch if going to the dentist stresses you out. No matter your needs, we highly recommend this practice.

Thank you SO much to Laura (Front Desk) and Dr. Hamner for making my first visit to the office yesterday; 10/9/19 a pleasant experience!!Im on the Board of Directors for a Dental Management Company based in NY and have been overseeing the operations of 10+ dental offices the past 16 years. When I moved to Palm Coast a few years ago, I never found a local Dentist b/c I only have my dental work done when I fly to NY for work every few months. Unfortunately, I woke up with a terrible toothache and had no choice but to find a local dentist to address my emergency as soon as possible.I called the office and Laura scheduled me a same day ER appt. She was SO helpful answering all of my questions prior to the visit and took the time to understand my unique situation. Even when I checked in with a different receptionist, Laura came up to the desk and welcomed me and even walked back into the operatory so that the Assistant was fully aware of my unique circumstances.I saw Dr. Hamner, and was really impressed with her. She had incredible chair side manner; and even though my personal Dentist sent a referral for a specific procedure to be rendered; mid-treatment Dr. Hamner explained her progress and gave me the option of going with a more conservative procedure (which was ultimately cheaper); while making me understand that if I was still in pain in a couple of days; she would accommodate me and render the procedure I was originally referred for if needed (I will add that 24hrs later, I am completely pain free!)Even though Dr. Hamner knew I was a unique patient that was only scheduled for this one off emergency appointment; she treated me as if I was a long standing patient; and was more concerned about the overall long term prognosis of my tooth than selling a more expensive service. Seeing I was self pay - that assured me she truly cared about what was best for me; and was not focused on what she could collect (money wise) from me! I did not feel anxious; or nervous at all (and even though I am a professional in this field, I am an extremely anxious patient!)I train hundreds of dental employees each year on perfecting the patient experience in the dental office; and I was truly impressed from start to finish. Although; I am not hoping to have another dental emergency in the future; it is comforting to know that a local office that meets all of my expectations is right around the corner! I will be sure to highly recommend Florida Family Dentistry to my local family and friends from now on! Thank you again!

This was a regular check-up and both my dentist and hygienist were great. What I have great issue with, is sitting in the waiting room EVERY time for half an hour. When I scheduled my next appointment it was suggested I schedule my appointments first thing in the morning, or after lunch. This tells me the problem will not be fixed in the next 6 months and I have to adjust my schedule to accommodate a poorly ran office. Very disappointed.

Doctor Hamnergets a 10 for her painless work she did this morning

Had a good experience until I got to the desk to pay. Was treated very rudely by one member of the office staff, no people skills and the meanest demeanor. She did not even seem phased when called out for her rudeness, refused to make eye contact and only apologized after her rudeness was pointed out twice. I work in customer service and would never treat someone in such a way. The dentist may have drilled into my teeth, but this woman is the only one who left a bad taste in my mouth. Edit: I did receive a call from the office manager apologizing for her employees behavior. I really did have a good experience aside from this one interaction.

Was disappointed with first visit since the office had made two appointments for our first visit, one with the dentist than another for cleaning. However when my wife arrived they could only find the first appointment, so my wife had to make another for a week later to get the cleaning done. After returning home, I called again to find out why there was a mix up, and was told that the person failed to check another screen and that she did have two appointments scheduled for that day. This after having confirmed our times three days prior to our visit, poor office skills.
