This is my experience based on the tour. I came and toured the apartment about 2 weeks ago. I met one of the leasing consultants, Alexus. She was very polite, kind, informative and honest. Her positive customer service and flexibility is what won me over about the apartment besides the unit itself! I am planning to move in the next couple of months and will update my review if necessary.

The property overall is OK. I have lived here on 2 different occasions. This time around is completely different . The overall maintenance in the building is very neglected. There are lights out on all floors. Funny there was just an inspection and magically they were working for that but since then not so much. There are lights out on the stairwells which is a very big safety hazard. It would be nice is the Property managers or the owners would walk the building to see what is actually going on. There are a lot of exterior doors that dont lock correctly. The arm to the garage is ALWAYS BROKEN. For the amount of money that i pay the building should look a little bit nicer. The carpet throughout the building needs to either be cleaned or replaced. The paint in the hallways could also use a little bit of attention. The fire alarms have been going off a lot lately which is a very big inconvenience especially with young children. There is no communication with the tenants when these issues happen leaving us in the dark. If its a false alarm say that. Recently there was testing done for RADON and the results where not made available. Ever unit should have been provided their own individual results. ( At least for peace of mind). I wish the playground was closed off by a gate because there is dog poop all in the kids play area.(With is Very Disgusting). People are not cleaning up after their pets. Everyone does not like animals and should not have to be exposed to them. I feel there should be more cameras throughout the building to feel more secure and so people can see exactly what is going on.

I rented here from 2012 to 2020. The apartments and easing office staff was great from 2012 to 2017, but after 2017 everything started going down hill. The apartments are nice, but the overall maintenance and quality of people living there degraded. When I left in 2020, I received $46 out of an initial $500 (plus intrest) deposit. I never hung any pictures in my apartment and I clean the apartment before my final inspection.

I have lived in the apartment complex The View At Mill Run for over a year I have a couple of instances that happened one in which my car was vandalized in the garage 2 1/2 times my tire was slashed on one occasion, On another occasion someone bust my window or my truck because I was parked in a handicapped spot that did not belong to anyone management said that they was not responsible for it. Carpets in the main building are disgusting, i’ve been living here over a year I have since been experiencing an infestation of mice dealing with the office personnel for over three months to get it rectified to the point where I want up having to get me a cat because I have a an extreme phobia of mice,They had an exterminator come out to do a seal and dust which nobody told me I had to prepare for this procedure exterminator came out couldn’t get into my apartment and left my door unlocked I called the office and got the on-call service and left a message and I also left a email with the property manager explaining that to her it’s been over a week and I still have not Gotten back a response in reference to this issue of them leaving my door unlocked displays in my opinion leaves a lot to be desired. The property manager I’ve emailed her on different occasions dealing with different issues She is slow to respond if any response at all …I also had a door wreath that I made had it for four years about three days ago someone stole it off of my door in my opinion like I said this place leaves a lot to be desired…Especially for what they charge for rent it’s crazy….

I applied for an apartment 1 bed/ben for $1342... I never got a call to know if i was approved or not. I had to call the company 4 times and than a week before move in they said there system mistakenly put two people for the same unit. They wanted to move me to a smaller 1 bedroom with no den or island for the same price ! They would not drop the price even though this was a mistake made on there end. Wow...... So i decided to just go with the other one bedroom. The move in date changed to the 15th and it is now the 12th and I still havent recieved a lease or any information but they are holding my $250 dollars! That is Unacceptable at this point ! I will not be moving here ! Luxury where ? Definitely not luxury service !

I will not be renewing my lease.

I love living at the view at Mill run. I have been here for about a year now, its very quiet, the office staff is great Will, Cachet, Alexis and Maria where all big helps to me over the time I have been here. Maintenance comes almost the next day or or two. The distance between the apartments allows you to almost never hear you neighbors. If your late a little on you rent they dont hound you down with crazy yellow or read notices on your door. They let you work it out, and when its too late they put it in envelope on your door. I have a sound bar on my wall, I will say that if you have someone living upstairs from you that the sound seems to travel through the wall and caste issues with noise. Just something to consider. The Pool and fitness room is amazing. Great mail room and amazon hub. The area feels very safe even at night. Never any police activity. great garage parking. Only thing I would say is maybe the garage area could be keep a little cleaner. Also they have a great trash pick up service. I Plan on living here as long as the Almighty has it in his plans for me. I would give five stare but I dont believe anything is perfect. But the Service and stay is five stars if I believed in giving it.

This is a horrible place to live. If I could rate 0 I absolutely would. Leasing office is absolutely horribly ran and needs to be looked into. The management running the office is completely unprofessional and never available and “always on vacation”. I moved out 3 months ago and have never received my security deposit. After months of trying to get in contact with someone I was told the carpet needed to be replaced and we wouldn’t receive a reimbursement for our security deposit due to this. I asked where was the notice regarding this because I was originally contacted saying the apartment was spotless and left in amazing shape in order for the next tenant who moved in immediately after I moved out. My next question was where is this documentation stating these charges regarding the carpet. The manager informed me that there was not any additional charges and everything was prorated and left with no balance being owed. Sounds very suspicious to me since she said the carpet needed to be replaced for a cost of $1400. Makes absolutely no sense and I will continue to look into this. Whoever is in charge of the management at this location needs to step in and take a deeper look into how things are being ran at this establishment. The apartments themselves are very nice with very good amenities but the living experience is completely disorderly and not pleasant due to the concerns listed above as well as a numerous list of other factors such as loud partying by teenagers at all times of the night, security issues with doors being kept open to the garage, the need for police on site on more then one occasion throughout the week and false fire alarms. The list is so long which is why we ended up leaving. I’m very sorry to say I would not recommend moving to these apartments. The only reason I took time to write this is in hopes that upper management and or owners take notice of this review in order to make a change.

I have lived here for 3 years and see the apartment improve their management. The apartment itself is very elegant and quiet. My unit has a very nice garden fountain view. The swimming pool and fitness facility is good. They recently replaced all the carpets on each level and kept them clean. There is a free car wash facility in the first level of the garage! I will move out of Maryland and wish I could find another good apartment like this one. To be honest, I think the rate here is relative cheaper than any apartment around this area.Their maintenance team respond quickly and is very responsible. I lived here for a year and the area is extremely nice. The apartment had issues when I moved in due to maintenance not making sure the apartment was fully renovated by my move in date. Aside from that, the apt never had issues while I was living there. The office staff, Maria and Shanae, are the best Ive ever communicated with at a property. Anytime I had an issue they were always there to help. Plus they are super friendly and open to finding solutions to any problem. The assistant property manager, however, wasnt much help to me on many occasions. I was informed that if I wanted to stay at this property I would have the option of upgrading my apartment, but when I asked to upgrade I was told that none were available. The only available apts were two bedrooms which were way out of my price range. Parking is also a nightmare. Random people will often park in your space. There is a number for a tow company posted to tow cars in your space but if you call they never send a truck. The assistant property manager apparently has to be the one to call them. I requested a change in parking my third month of living there and it never got changed. I would often see people who had two parking spaces move out and when I requested a different space, I would be told that none are available.I only had one conversation with the property manager. She patronized me a little bit during the conversation but the issue I had was resolved. Havent really spoken to her since. My opinion is she doesnt really like to speak to everyone else.

I have read a lot of reviews and visited a lot of apartment complexes before ultimately choosing The View At Mill Run. The staff in the leasing office have been nothing short of friendly and helpful with both the move-in process and answering any questions I had each time I dropped by. Ebony even took the time to personally take me up to my apartment, show me my parking spot in the parking garage, and explain the trash pickup process. The apartment itself is very spacious with a great balcony view and there were very minor preexisting damages upon move-in. The staff members do a great job at responding to phone calls/emails in a timely manner. If youre like me, you have probably already read every single review about this (and other) apartment complexes. I can confidently say that my first month here has been fantastic and I hope that some of the negative reviews do not stop you from visiting.

Housekeeping is done by maintenance so its not a job that is performed everyday. I got located into a good hallway so I never have an issue with noise. I dont have any issues with roaches or mice but I do live in the ground level so Ill occasionally get centipedes who make their way into the apartment during the summer time. Although I renewed my lease, Ill be looking for a new apartment. They accept pets but their units are carpeted and Im over it with a new dog.

My boyfriend and my son and I have been living in these apartments for 3 years now. Our lease is up this March we will not be releasing. These are apartments were very nice to live in before management left. After Barbara left this place started to go down hill. The new management we have is very nasty and disrespectful. Ebony does not come out of her office to meet and greet you when you walk into the front office. She also does not respond to any of your emails or phone calls when you have a situation. Barbara would respond to your emails and yohr calls. The residence that live here are all dirty and disrespectful they leave their trash cans out when there isn’t any trash pick ups and they also leave their trash all over the brand new carpets. They also leave their trash in the door ways when you’re coming in from the garage. They also leave their sunflower seeds and cashew shells on the floors by peoples apartment doors. They let people in that do not live here. And they also let people use the pool area that don’t live here their was a fight that broke out at the pool after my son and I left the front office was noticed and they didn’t do anything about the lifeguard had to call the police to break up the fight!. The police officers are always called for something that happens here. We never had problems around here until management was changed. Ebony is very ghetto. This apartment is pretty and elegant. It is relatively new. I like the garage parking, elevator and trash collection every weekday in front of your unit. The washer and dryer in every unit. I lost my trash can once and the leasing office assigned me a new one. The garage parking will keep you from cleaning the snow in winter. Electricity efficient air conditioning and good view from my apartment. The only thing I did not like was during the nights, I could sometimes hear the noise from the foutain area or leasing office. There are party times but people will linger in the public area for a while till after the midnights. I called 911 several times. I hope the apartment could put a sign or let the party girls/guys know in advance. The management need to be improved since sometimes they are too busy to care about you.

I recently moved into The View 2 months ago. My tireless apartment search began in September and I stumbled upon The View as I was looking for gated entry or garage parking and other specific amenities. Shenae initially showed me a 2 bedroom for-show unit but I was looking for a one bedroom and I unfortunately wasnt able to tour any that were ready at that time. After about a month or so I decided to go back to see what apartments were available at that time with my boyfriend and Maria was kind enough to assist us in showing us two different one bedroom units. We really liked them both but wanted to watch rent prices as they continuously fluctuate on a weekly basis. We set up two more appointments with Maria to look at the available apartments twice more to narrow down which unit we wanted and for what we felt was the best price. Maria was very accomodating in ensuring we got an apartment not on ground level and conveniently located close to the main entrance.Since moving into our residence (which we are COMPLETELY in love with), Maria has been really helpful whenever weve had any concerns. We had a few different issues with parking, but those are in the process of being corrected by management.Overall, the service weve received, both from Maria and Shenae have been excellent. They always know our names and are willing to accommodate us with any issues that arise. Additionally the apartment is so nice, I was never a homebody in my life, but I am now. If youre looking for a spacious apartment with covered parking, a 24 hour gym, pool, in unit washer dryer, nice sized balcony, central heat/AC and up to date kitchen amenities with ample closet/storage space, this should be your new home.Thank you ladies for all that you do (and continue to do) to make The View truly feel like home.-L & C

I lived at Mill Run for 2 years. When I first moved there it was great. The staff in the office had great customer service skills and actually knew their residents. Things changed last year with all new staff. It seemed as though every time I went to the office, there was someone new there. No one seemed very friendly, they were not interested in getting to know you, and their customer service skills over the phone was terrible. They started charging for pool passes which I felt was ridiculous. For the amount that you pay monthly (which increases drastically once the move in special is over), I would expect more a more friendly environment versus a business environment. Apart from that, the grounds were kept clean, having garage parking is great in the winter, and valet garbage service is a major plus.

Do not move here under any circumstances! This place is filthy, hallways are incredibly unkempt to say the least. Dog poo left in the hallways, chicken bones, trash in the garage. Black streaks on the hallway carpet. You should see it after a weekend. More and more trash just put anywhere by the residents. It is not cleaned up.Also, very noisy, people up all hours of the night. No matter how much we complained nothing was ever done to help us with trash or noise. Residents will blast music at 2 am upon entering the garage. Not even thinking for once that people are sleeping at the hour! They could at least turn the radio down upon entering the complex. Would that not make sense? The office staff are very uncaring. Out for themselves. Residents out for themselves. Just a flop house to them. Also, there is a line of cars in front of the building every night. On friday and Saturday nights the line must be at least 10 plus cars deep. They all stop at the side door of the building and someone comes out and they drive off. Next car comes up. I think it is drugs. I cant imagine what else it could possibly be. Of course, I reported it to the office and they told me to call the police. I dont think that would be wise. The office should investigate and then if warranted, call police. Another neighbor told me the same thing when she complained. The staff, like I said, are uncaring and dont care. They will push the problem back to you on every instance. They do not want the responsibility.Residents as well as staff are unfriendly and inconsiderate. Just awful people in an awful place.I cant imagine the below reviews. None of those reviews could possibly be accurate.Just wanted to warn people honestly to not ever consider this place. You will regret it immediately.

I came and applied for a property and was told if I fill out the application and pay the holding fee of $250 they will hold it. When I notified them I had a section 8 voucher everything changed. I was told if I move in on the 1st my rent will be over 2000 dollars entirely making Baltimore County housing authority to deny my RTA. The price was changed from 1605. Then I was told in order to get a the price of 1605 I will move in on the 28th knowing that a section 8 holder have to move in by the 1st of every month. They did a credit check and they weren’t supposed to. They have abused me because I am young and because they see I was just awarded the voucher they think they can tell me anything to just push me to withdraw my application. This place have depressed me and my kids and we have been in a homeless situation since December 5th. They have discriminated me, have no remorse. Mrs. Jenna, Mrs. Mariah and now I called the district manager Mrs. Debbie Roebuck and she never assisted with the situation other than quote everything Mrs. Jenna spoke off and I know it’s inaccurate information. They have refused to assist me to make my moving easier and has truly caused a huge ordeal to me and my children. I don’t know why these people are doing this and they know the process and I am not the first section 8 holder. They don’t even have themselves registered with section 8 program and Mrs. Debbie told me that the management don’t register the management Baltimore County housing authority is supposed too. Even the district manager is falsifying information just like her team. I have called corporate, I’ve spoke to the district manager, Mrs. Jenna lied to me she was the property manager and she’s just the assistant manager. I have been embarrassed, stressed, humiliated and they don’t have any sympathy whatsoever. They have mishandled my case purposely, unprofessional and have went against company guidelines, rules and regulations. This is a very discriminative community even the management all the way to the district manager have treated me so wrong. I am at the point of giving up and just requesting my refund but I won’t because that is what they want me to do. This isn’t fair at all. It’s completely against the law.Thank you,Grace Nguro

UPDATE: I am a no longer a resident thanks to an offer for a new job in a new state.I had an ok experience at The View at Mill Run until Ebony (assistant manager) came into the office. Leasing office staff were friendly and helpful and I had all my maintenance requests handled within 24 hours.Matt, the manager will only respond to your inquiries if you get the BBB involved. I’ve rented many places in Maryland and this neighborhood was by far the worst when it comes to customer service and/or assistance you may need.Upon moving out, I learned I was charged for a deposit for a lease protection plan and a regular security deposit. Per the lease protection agreement, it should only be one or the other, not both. Of course, I as the consumer and should’ve paid attention to this but they are some sneaky snakes. All packages are delivered to the office, which was great for the Christmas holiday. You never had to worry about a missed package. Just don’t ask Ebony for a package because you could have the delivery confirmation and she’ll lie and say it wasn’t delivered.I lived on the 7th floor (top floor) so noise has never been an issue for me.My only issue is the messy neighbors and the office rarely addressed filthy people. Trash bags in stairwells, dog poop in the hallways, fast food bags in the halls, and sunflower seeds shells up and down the hallways. The office only cleans the area near the office so you’re stuck walking past your neighbors trash daily.Fast forward to moving out. I received my move out cost summary and upon moving out the final bill was $2,000 more than what I was told 2 months before moving out. Now before you say maybe her apartment was a mess, nope just $130 in cleaning fees. All the charges on the final bill are new and were not mentioned on my 60 day notice paperwork. And guess what? Ghetto Ebony won’t return my calls.

I currently live here at this location with my boyfriend! It does take time to get all the paperwork completed, There are pros and cons to living anywhere but heres my personal assessment after more than 3 months living here.Pros: Comes with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, garage parking for one car (additional car cost $), pool, gym, free yoga classes on Tuesdays from labor day-memorial day, a clubhouse (only open during business hours), a great view (depending on your apt #), good price in my opinion (come in during special like we did), safe location, cameras, key access, referral reimbursement oppotunities, bike storage room, close to Soldiers Delight, easy access to highways, about 1.5 miles from the metro, and more.Cons: probably the biggest con is the limited/no cell phone service!!! Some people may have issues getting satelitte tv, somtimes, you can hear your neighbor above you walking and closing cabinets and doors, but overall its pretty quiet.I think where you live is a big decision, so take your time, and if you do decide to live here, please feel free to put me down as your reference! :)!
