I took my car in do to it having low tire pressure in one of my rear tires. The employees were all very kind, and the technician showed me the issue, and promptly fixed it. I am very happy with how everything turned out, and my tire has been perfect ever since! They are really great, and I would highly recommend them again!

We had an appointment for 2pm. We dropped of our car and waited for a call. We called them at 3:30 to get an update and was told they where working on our tires and that they would call us in 15 minutes with an update. We never received a call and when we showed up at 5 pm they where just then doing the tires. I know that these things take time and we have no problem waiting. However, there is no need to lie to us and act like they did nothing wrong. We will not be returning to this location. It was a waste of time and they clearly do not value their customers. We didn’t receive an apology and the man behind the counter acted like he could care less. Which was evident by the fact he couldn’t properly wear a mask. Also, giving them a one star review was generous. If I could have left negative star rating I would have.

Pep Boys is one of the few shops in the area that is open on a Sunday. I had a flat tire due to a puncture and needed it patched up ASAP since our minivan is essential to driving the family around for our busy schedule (taking the kids to school, shopping, taking the kids to their after-school activities, etc).I scheduled an appointment online for the earliest time available, which was 11:30 AM. I got their at 11:30 and the gentlemen at the counter alerted me that its going to be a couple of hours due to the high workload. I was understanding of this seeing how many cars were there and how busy they were (like I said, its one of the few places open on a Sunday and I could hear many of the other people coming in behind me coming to fix flat tires as well).I decided to wait around, and when I started to get hungry, I notified the gentleman that I was going to step out for a meal. He was very appreciative of my patience and offered to provide transportation to a nearby restaurant of my choice via a ride sharing service, but I declined. I think the cost of the ride sharing would have been close to what I was going to spend to fix a tire (approx $20 to fix a tire). I thought this was a great gesture.It ended up being about 3.5 hours of me waiting around, but I realize that the wait was due to circumstances beyond their control and that the online scheduling is not aware of all of the circumstances at the shop.Even though I did end up waiting much longer than anticipated, Im still giving a 5 star review based on my interaction with the staff. The gentleman at the counter (wish I asked for names but I didnt) was very friendly and apologized for the delays. The technician took the time to properly pack up the spare tire and accessories. He even took notice of the tire pressure readings in the vehicle not matching up with the wheels due to the fact that I had to rotate the tires on the side when putting on a spare and suggested that I come on a less busy day to perform a TPMS relearn (the front tire had a flat but I was not going to put a spare tire in the front so I moved the good rear tire to the front and put the spare on the rear). Fortunately, my vehicle automatically relearns the TPMS sensors while driving so the problem corrected itself and I dont have to bring it in for that.Overall, based on my experience with the friendly staff, I would recommend this place.

Not very happy, They performed the Special Oil and tire rotation on Sunday, on Tuesday I called to complain that I was hearing a noises ( a fast drum sound) they told me to come inI explained to the gentleman that is related to balance, ( I was in the Tire business when I was a young man)he immediately told me that is was not cover. I have never encountered a car not balance after tire rotation, it should be explained to customers. So lets see $79.00 + 42.00= 121.00 . Always ask.

I went in for a lube oil and filter and to have my air flushed. The price for the air flush was a lot more than the quote that they gave me over the phone. Also I to go to the restroom around 10 AM. There was just enough soap for me. I told them that they were out of soap. Another guy says theres hand sanitizer by the door. They had times that they were able to change it. My car was ready at 11:40 AM and they still hadnt changed it!

I called to see if they could remove mopar wheel locks on my new Jeep without the wheel lock key. I was told absolutely, come bring the Jeep in right away. I said are you sure? Because I called 2 other tire shops and they couldn’t do it.they said yes 100% just bring it in we have the tools. So I bring it in and leave it with them, they tell me to pick it up in a few hours, I get a ride back home, and get a call 30 minutes later that they aren’t able to do it and I need to come pick up my vehicle. Wasted over 2 hours of my day, and didn’t accomplish anything. No apology for wasting my time. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

Made an appointment for an oil change, after getting there and an hour of waiting I was told that the oil change was done and my CV boot was broken and my tire had an imbalance. I was asked to be shown, there was some oil on my cv boot and he kept trying to convince me that my tire looked weird when it didn’t. I decided to not do anything about it and drive it home. At home I checked myself and could not find a single thing wrong. Went to a separate mechanic where they lifted the car with me there and confirmed they lied to me. Almost 7 months later and my car never had any of those issues. I would not recommend this place to absolutely anyone. Stay far away as they are liars and out for your money. I wouldn’t put it past them to damage your car in order to charge you.

I made an appointment at this location to get my car‘s oil changed with Royal Purple Oil. I’ve been getting all of my cars done here with Royal Purple for years. I made an appointment almost a week ago for today, and when I showed up, they proceeded to tell me that they no longer carry Royal Purple at any of their locations since they got a deal with Mobil. With one look at my file, they could’ve seen that I always get all my cars serviced with Royal Purple and should have let me know when I called to schedule an appointment that their affiliates had changed. Very disappointed that they decided to stop carrying Royal Purple without letting anyone know. They have lost a long time customer.

I made an appointment to get my A/C checked. Upon arrival I was told they couldnt look at my car because they were overwhelmed, and was asked to reschedule my appointment to a couple days later. At the second appointment I was told they were understaffed and that I would have to bring it back again. Apparently this particular Pep Boys is having issues. I will not be wasting any more time there.

Scheduled an appointment for Saturday but then arrived and had to reschedule for Sunday. Dropped my car off at 2:30pm and I asked for the following:1. Head light in Kia replaced2. Oil Change3. ABS light read out4. Rear tail light was outGot a call at 4:45pm saying my car was done. Had to get a uber which took me until about 5:28pm to get there (the location is about 15 - 20 min away from my house). They called my wife at 5:10pm acting a bit annoyed I havent picked up my car yet and that they were closed.When they went over the work that was done here is what I was faced with:1. Couldnt replace head light because they didnt have the part and it was too late to go to anywhere to get it.2. Oil change was completed.3. Didnt look at the ABS light read out because my ticket was deleted from the system and when it was re-written it didnt have this request...4. Their Electrical guy wasnt in todayAlso while I was standing their checking out the person helping me was telling another employee how terrible he was at his job.I have been to other Pep Boys before and had positive experiences but this was not one of them.

This is by far the absolute WORST mechanic ever! They “fix” your car and when you get it back something else goes wrong. Every single time you get something fixed at this place something magically is wrong in the next couple days. I am positive they are breaking things on purpose. Avoid this store all together.

They have NO clue! Went there to have my AC checked because it stopped working. I was told I needed to replace almost everything and that there were several leaks - cost to repair was $2,550. When I wanted specifics (where were the leaks etc.,) all I got were vague answers. Fast forward 1 month. Had it checked at a (recommended) shop on West Colonial - Problem was the Schrader valve - easy fix - $50 dollar repair out the door!Be careful - you may be next!

I brought in my Jeep Wrangler with a grinding noise and several warning lights. They were able to identify numerous problems as I hadnt had it serviced in a while for financial reasons. I explained my money situation to them and they were able to provide me with a detailed list of what was critical to repair and what could wait as well as discount opportunities they offered. My car is crucial to my job so their one day turn around and quality work was fantastic as well. Really saved my budget this month. Ill be back for sure next the jeep needs work.

DO NOT GO HERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A POC!!!! I made an appointment last week to get my brakes and rotors replaced as well as an alignment. First red flag was when they called me back with a $1500 bill of recommendations they thought were needed on my car, after i declined most of the recommendations they proceeded in a game of negotiations, where i finally settled on paying $526 worth of work that i believed would cover the cost of ALL things i truly needed done. Second red flag was when hours passed by and NO one reached out to me updating me on the job. When i finally called the store back, they told me that while working on my car, a mechanic broke my sway bar and needed to get a replacement part ordered from downtown Orlando. After picking up my car and blowing my right tire on the highway days later, i didn’t find out that they did NOTHING to my car until i took my receipt and concerns to a different Pepboys where they showed me all the work that was not done in my car. WASTED MONEY. WASTED TIME. DO NOT GO HERE.

Waited one hour for an oil change. When I was told that my car was ready, it wasnt. I had to go back inside to ask. After waiting another ten minutes, the guy brought my car out. When I said thank you, he totally ignored me. Ugly attitude and poor customer service. I wont be back. You lost a customer Pep Boys.

I stopped by today & spoked to Francisco, I dropped my car off to get a tire balance & those guys were extremely professional, i literally dropped my car off & 20 minutes later I received a call saying the car was ready . I’m still surprised that they were able to provide such efficient and great service in a short period of time . I appreciate it Eduardo & Francisco. Thank you .

If you care anything about your vehicle you will not come here. These workers do not care about servicing the consumer, they care about making a quick buck. On January 23rd I paid them for a diagnostic which ended up going towards my purchase and installation of a new starter. They told me they found no issues with anything except the starter. Fast forward to March, I go to get an oil change and I’m told by a mechanic of 25 years that the oil is leaking directly out of my car. He also took photographs and showed them to me of caked up dried oil that is EVERYWHERE underneath the car and proceeds to state that there is no way they could have done an engine diagnostic at the end of January almost February and didn’t see what was going on underneath the car. I even proceeded to ask him if this is something that could have happened AFTER I got the diagnostic done and maybe they just didn’t catch it and he told me there was no way because of how caked on the oil was over everything. Pepboys does not care about consumers and they’re only goal is to do as little work and charge as much as possible.

The employee Velko helped me through the entire process. Very professional, helpful, and friendly! I had a fuel pump issue, pretty expensive job to get done. So I shopped around to see different prices, of course not all places are the same. But when I found a place much cheaper, I was given a price match from PepBoys! So grateful for that since I’ve been going to PepBoys locations for years!

We had a flat tire on the left rear, but they installed the new tire on the right front. Had to come back an extra time, which was very inconvenient when your vehicle was not working.

Great place to get work done. Their prices are good and they end up getting you a lot of discounts. I accrued enough points to get an oil change for $12 today. The only thing they need is more bays! They work fast but they simply need more manning and facilities. In the heart of a college town, right off campus of a major university with several other colleges in town... They need to expand.

I took my truck here last week because my ABS sensor was flashing and there was a loud intermittent grinding coming from the front passenger side. I asked for an oil change and tire rotation, and for them to please take a look as to the cause of the grinding. 5 minutes later, they said that “nothing was wrong”. A day later my front passenger wheel hub came apart at 65 mph. Luckily I survived to write this review. Calling this place and the people who work here mechanics is like calling me the Pope. I would walk for the rest of my life before ever giving another single dime of my business. Alfred Curcuroto was the “service” manager. Stay far far away friends. 0/5 stars.

I got the serpentine belt replaced on my car recently with Pep Boys. Ever since then, the belt is making a squeaking noise when I start up the car. I had to go to another mechanic. He said the belt is not properly adjusted and the replaced belt is not even of good quality. Will not be going to Pep Boys again!

I took in my Mazda 3 for repairs regarding loud noises and vibrations that had been escalating for a while. I was greeted by Fred who was incredibly nice and welcoming and helped me with a price in my budget for the work needed to be done. Fred was so incredibly kind and walked me through all the issues and even showed me visually first hand and patiently so that I knew I wasnt being scammed.After having my repairs done, I proceeded to have one vibrating issue recur the next day and proceeded to come back to the store. I was amazed by the amazing level of customer service, especially from Fred, by the fact that they realized the issue was just my bent rim and they offered a solution free of charge to my surprise.I would highly recommend this store for your service needs and I could tell Fred definitely knew his way around cars and was the nicest soul Ive ever met in the car service business.I could truly tell Fred was one of the special ones in a company like pep boys and this store deserves a review like this because of people like him. At appointment time they informed me that appointment time for them means a priority order and that it will actually be hours and this is normal for them.Actually work in car is acceptable.

This rating is for Hertz. They closed this location and are still renting cars from this location. Do not go here to rent a car. They dont have any.(Update)There is nothing to investigate. Hertz is making Pep Boys look bad by association. Hertz is sending people to your business under false pretenses and making you look bad in doing so.

Wish I could leave no stars!!!! Placed an order on line for 1 hour pickup and get there and they say my order will not be ready for a week!!!!! They say they have no retail (everything is behind posters.... I have been to Pep Boys all over the U.S. and they ALL have retail. Oh and if this store does not have so called retail then why would it allow for in store pickup.

On the 29th of June I was in the area of this Pep Boys due to my wife having a doctors appointment and I decided to have my oil changed while waiting for her. The technician told me I had a power steering fluid leak and quoted me $818.00 for the oil change and the hose replacement that was leaking. I gave him the ok to do the work. I was not pressured by him, it was my decision totally. Long story short. I feel I was way over charged. I priced the hose and found it for an average of $ 39.00. I was in and out of the store in less than an hour. $818.04 was entirely too much because I am on a fixed income and every dollar counts. I have been using Pep Boys all my life. Thank You

Came in the other day to have one of my tires replaced due to a screw. The man at the service desk, Arman, was outstanding and got me in and out right away. My tire brand isn’t one that they sell at the store so they made sure that I got the closest thing to my brand and made sure I was okay with it. I was very impressed by the efficiency and well as the down to earth manner Arman and his other two coworkers had. I was even more impressed that they were able to accept me as a walk in so late in the day and have me in and out of the location in less than 45 minutes. I will definitely be coming here again for any of my car needs.

My son took his Toyota Corolla to this location for a maintenance required light. He was due for an oil change. After he drops his car off he texts me and tells me that the total price will be $326!! I told him to immediately call and cancel all the services they hadnt performed yet. They told him he needed to have his brake fluid line flushed and brake fluid replaced. The car only has 30,000 miles!! Toyota doesnt recommend that until 60,000 miles. They also told him they recommended all of these fuel additives which he did not! Never again will he be taking his car there. So sad they rip off college students who are away from home and trying to make decisions on their own. Shame on you Pep Boys!

Ask for Jesus he will get everything you need taking care of and even print you out a paper that shows everything they did and everything they recommend you to do. Absolutely no pressure to purchase more than you need or even for them to do the work. Just a reccomend suggestion to keep your vehicle running great. I will go back to this location in the future.

Took 2 hours to conduct a simple oil change. Said I could do a synthetic blend for my 2019 Elantra and would cost $35 and go down to $30 with military discount. When I arrived, they could only do conventional or full synthetic which costs $61 and doesnt include military discount. After ringing me up, I let the cashier know that I hear there were cheaper options around town and that they wouldnt refund the difference because I had already paid. Happy to hear this store is closing and wont scam anymore unknowing college students.

Andrew filled my tires for me last minute before closing last night! He was very kind and outstanding. I appreciated that so much. Ill do business here in the future.

Jesse was fantastic-- I had a flat and he looked at all my tires and took the car back to patch up the tire right away. He didnt try to upsell me even though I came in thinking it was probably time for new tires, and finding honest people to work on your car who WONT try to convince you that you need a million things you dont is such a rare thing. Im never going anywhere else.I will 100% go back and ask for him specifically when it IS time for those new tires (and for the big maintenance I know I have coming up in a year or so), and the service guys were all great, knowledgeable, and polite.

I called at 4:25p to ask if they could fit my car in at 5:30p for an oil change. They said they had one car and would fit it in. I asked if they needed a name for a reservation, and I was told no. I arrived there at 5:30 on the dot and was turned away because they suddenly had multiple appointments (3 bays with 1 tech working). Mind you this was after another store called and told me my online appointment was cancelled because their actual schedule was full (which I understand)(kudos to this store, Im going back to you). I gave this location one chance, and when time is precious I cannot risk a second try especially when many others share similar concerns regarding scheduling problems and delays. Never accept business if you cannot deliver it. With a $50k show quality car, I fear how loose everything else is run in the shop if that much cannot be controlled in the span of one hour, whereas the other shop nearby called me within seconds of my appointment having a problem.

Arrived at this location 40 minutes prior to closing for an oil change. Guy behind service counter advised that they need 1.5 hours to change oil. All of the bays were empty - just lazy employees of whom I have great concern entrusting my vehicles safety to. Fortunately I found a competitor 15 minutes away with the same closing time who happily changed my oil and had me on my way 5 minutes prior to closing. It was great to make a positive experience out of my horrible experience with this particular Pep Boys

Dishonest mechanics, *AVOID AT ALL COSTS*, went in for a job that should have cost 150-250 and they tried to charge 800. These are dishonest people trying to take advantage. Warning again to all potential victims, watch out and avoid these scum scammers and their rotten filthy hearts.

I call Pep Boys to let them know what happened and they tell me that they possibly will charge me just to fix something they’ve done. Horrible customer service and overpriced.

Fantastic Customer Service! I went in to buy a can of refrigerant and after having no luck getting the can to discharge into my car AC system, I believed the can was defective. I took it back and the person on register (Carol (?)) not only switched it out for a new bottle but went above and beyond to help me get my AC working, even double checking with the service techs about making sure that I was following the right directions. Great customer service, will definitely be back!

Very poor customer service the morning I took my car from the mechanic to the in store representative. They all had an attitude like I was bothering them to get battery tested and replaced. If it wasnt for the early afternoon crew being more customer focused when picking up car, I would have rated 1-star. But they did the work and afternoon reps were much better with customers.

Had a 10 am appointment for a wheel alignment. They were exactly on time and I was out of there by 10:45. The mechanic showed me a printout of the corrections he made. The service rep was knowledgeable and friendly. I could tell the improvement in my cars performance.In the waiting area was a television with over the air channels as well as coffee. The chairs in the waiting room were very comfortable. The mens rest room was one of the cleanest I have ever seen in an auto repair place.I would recommend this Pep Boys to any of my friends.

I went in for a wheel alignment because my car was pulling to the right, but I ended up needing to replace my shocks & struts. Jose and Ben were really helpful in explaining everything that needed to be done, as well as getting me in quickly the next day to get the work finished. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the work, which I really appreciated.Also, while the wait is sometimes long, a lot of that is because of the online booking system. I was told its a lot easier to just call the store to make the appointment, since the team will have a better estimate of how long it will take and how many people are in front of you.

Theyre very friendly and helpful. I had a really simple issue originally thought to be a larger issue, they replaced the minor part and sent me on my way. Really appreciated their service and they didnt charge me a dime because the problem was so simple. Great guys, would definitely go back.

This particular location. The service is horrible. Bought a lifetime alignment for a truck. Brought it there to have an alignment check. Set an appointment over the phone the day before. When I brought it in the guy print out the new order to charge me for another alignment service. I told him I have a lifetime alignment for the vehicle. He told me he has to charge me for another one since the truck has a level kit on it. And then I argued back that’s not how it works. Lifetime alignment should cover all of these as long as I own the truck then he made up a bunch of excuses that his special technician that specialized on lifted vehicles aren’t there so he can’t do it and told me to bring it back on another day. This is all because that he found out by me that I have a lifetime alignment and if I paid for another alignment there it shouldn’t be a problem at all. He can’t make money so he turned down my service in my face. What a fake dude! You know exactly who you are if you read this comment. I don’t have to call name here.Whenever anyone buys a lifetime alignment with them. Think twice before doing it they will give you a hard time if you bring it back.

Have had numerous kinds of work completed on 3 different vehicles. I have been treated fairly and with respect each time and have been very happy with the quality of work provided. Prices are competive and quoted up front.

They are more expensive than the Action Gator that I have taken my car to for years. Ive gone in a couple of times to get a quote on service. The service guys are clueless about the work that has to be done on a vehicle. Please hire knowledgeable people or actually take the time to train them. The last time I went in was to get a quote to replace a tire pressure monitor on my 2010 Equinox. The guy looked it up on his computer. The labor estimate itself was $60 for just one tire. I have the sensor, so I cant imagine what they overcharge for a sensor. So, he proceeds to tell me its $14.95 to remove the old sensor, $14.95 to balance the tire, $14.95 to mount the sensor, and $14.95 to reprogram the sensor to the car. Then he says that he doesnt know if there is a charge to remove the tire.....??? What? To do all the things that he listed, you have to remove the tire....Duh.So, I went to the Action Gator down the street and they quoted me $20 to do all the things above that Pep Boys was going to charge me $60. I can have all 4 tire pressure sensors replaced for $80 labor, while it would cost me $240 with Pep Boys.Seriously, they charge dealership prices. Avoid at all cost.

A good friend of my referred me to this store. One day I stopped by to see here as she was getting her car serviced. I had the low tire pressure light on and asked if they could put some air in since I was already there they said no problem. An hour later of just sitting there he said there was a nail in the sidewall of the tire he showed me the tire and the nail wasn’t very close to the side wall but I took his word for it. All these charges later it was about $250. I payed and went on with my business at a later date another nail was found in another one of my tires (not the one they put on) I went to another very reputable tire shop near by and patch the tire after showing me where the nail was which was about the same or closer to the side wall. I made a comment about how pep boys swindled me into getting a new tire when I did not need one. With this in mind I went on as usual and a few months went by and now I constantly have to put air in the tire. On top of this last time I went to get my oil changed they told me I needed a new tire and the one pep boys put on was defective. The only saving grace was the staff was very nice even though they swindled me into buying a new tire which was not needed. Will not be going back here.

I wish I got the name of the employee who was helping me, but he was quite simply, misogynistic and an aggressive individual. When my boyfriend was at the desk, he was nice, and as soon as my boyfriend went outside, he was disrespectful to me to the point that I left crying. Not to mention that he scoffed and belittled me when I was in shock that my repair was going to be between $230-$680 (how is that even an appropriate estimate) for a minor fix of a button. After leaving in distraught, I immediately went to my Jeep dealership where I was in and out within the hour, helped by a respectful man, and paid $90. I will never be going to a Pep Boys again, and I would encourage any woman not to either.

Recently brought in my Jeep to Fred and Jesse for some issues I was having. They listened to what I had to say about the problems and actually had an in depth conversation about it while walking around my Jeep. I went to other places trying to figure out what was going on multiple times and with zero success; in fact their advice for how I should go about fixing it was incredibly and idiotically wrong (shop across the street). Fred and Jesse listened to what I had to say and helped me get the Jeep to riding better than I can remember it doing so in a long time. Unfortunately I forgot the other guy who helped me out, but all of this is to say that I wont be going anywhere else for Jeep work that I cant figure out/work on myself. Thanks a lot, yall. I really appreciate it.

I have been going to Pep Boys long before it became Peb Boys and have known Ron Dickinson for all that time, and I cant begin to express the feelings I have that are comparable to what I feel for my own family for him and Pat Oconnor, both of whom I trust will make sure that whatever your needs are, it will be met with the best attention above and beyond their abilities.

I have always had a great experience at Pep Boys, but this was an exceptional round of a location that was going out of business. It seems depressing for the people working that it was their last day, but the two people that I spoke to were extremely helpful and in very good spirits!

Took my car to here Thursday, 10/12 to diagnose my fan that continued to run for hours after the car was turned off. Picked the car up that day and when I got home the fan was on again. Took it back Monday, 10/16 for the same issue and was told the issue was resolved however there was a problem with my A/C and that it would cost $120+ to diagnose. I told them no simply because it had just been repaired and was working fine when I dropped it off. When I picked my car up, my A/C was blowing hot air!! When I returned and stated my concerns the service rep told me there was nothing he could do because I told them not to do the diagnostic. I expressed that I should not have to pay for something that wasnt an issue prior to them having my car. I left and went to another shop to find out the air compressor had been unplugged. Very dishonest mechanics that attempted to collect funds without acknowledging that they could have been at fault. When speaking with them once the issue was rectified, I didnt feel any sympathy from the other end. I will not be returning to this shop.

I would not go back to this location. They confused my vehicle with another persons car even though I showed that indiviual my car five minutes before. Awful customer service. And terrible prices. I went to my local mechanic and received better service for less than half the price.

On Labor Day (2018), I had a leak in my tire. My usual tire place was closed and I was in need. I went to Pep Boys but there was a long wait. I decided to have air put in my tire and I would follow up the next day when I had more time. When I pulled in, Noel spotted a screw in my tire and explained I’d need it patched but that I could drive on it but to monitor my tire pressure. In less than 5 min, however, he had removed the screw and patched the hole and sent me on my way. Because of Noel, I will now be buying my tires from Pep Boys on Alafaya. Thank you!
