This company is a pyramid scheme. They make you incentivized to bring more people in and will only tell you 20% of people being interviewed will get hired which is a lie. Anyone can and will get hired. They make you feel like a million dollars when you receive the call back. I had a few friends including myself all get an interview at the same time to test this theory. Sure enough we had all got a call back. Taylor (a branch manager I believe) said to us 400 people are interviewed every week but im going to give you the job now trying to make you feel special he hires you on the spot. I hope every individual gets to see this review and stay clear of this company. I assume this review will be taken down to protect them.... goodluck everyone! p.s. its red flags from the beginning when they say they will not pay for your 12 hour training. LOL
Theres no better opportunity for a college student than the Vector Opportunity! :) Im grateful for the personal/professional development and mentorships that this company has provided me with. The skills you acquire through the position prepare you to have a successful career in any industry.
Got a job here on June 1st and have never looked back. The amount growth both personally and professionally I’ve gained is unmatched to anything else I have ever experienced. Highly recommend
Been working with Trey and his staff for a year now and I can really say that they truly care about their employees, working with Vector has helped me become the best version of myself and I would recommend it to everyone. Everyone should give sales a try, and I think this is the best place to do so :D!!
Very great company who takes in account of the both their employees needs and their customers. Helps elevate their team and overall outlook on life!
Great people work there. Really polite and friendly.
Never work here worst experience ever
If you try to quit they harass you
Have had an amazing experience with this company so far. It was very out of my comfort zone when I started in 2016, but nothing happens inside the comfort zone so I kept pushing. My parents noticed a vast improvement in my people skills after just a summer working here. Highly recommend anyone interested to check it out for themselves.
I signed up for an interview with this company today, but after going over the reviews, it sounded pretty much like a pyramid scheme. I am now debating on whether this is a waste of time or a legit job opportunity...
Trey Harris the manager here is an amazing person to work with. Any time spent with Trey is worth 5 starring. The base pay is great but the incentives are even better. The company offers great scholarship and internship opportunities for students along with flexible schedules. If you get the opportunity to work here make the best out of it! You will not find another place like Vector.
I love the people! Super nice!
Trey Harris, the manager, is an amazing person to work with. Any time spent with Trey is worth 5 starring. The base pay is great but the incentives are even better. This opportunity has been the differentiating factor for me in getting into the college of my dreams!
Such an awesome company and the opportunities available for students - like scholarships and internships - are fantastic! The office is clean and easy to find, Ive been very pleased with my experiences with the Vector Orlando office.
My daughter worked for this company and I saw a huge improvement! She is way more confident and her communication skills have improved tremendously. She is now currently working in her career position which this job helped her get.
Lol all these people with bad ratings are too funny. Ladies and gents, dont knock something til you try it! This place is awesome and the people are great. Trey is the best and is honestly like a father figure to me. Highly suggest checking this place out!!🔥😄
I started working for Vector last summer and it was the best decision ive ever made. This company and the manager Trey Harris turned my life around and I couldnt be happier with where I am today. And the new office is in a gorgeous building!
I’ve worked here for four years now and have loved every minute of it. I’ve made great money, stacked my resume, made some amazing friends, traveled outside of the country nine times on the company’s dollar, built my confidence and have grown more as a person than I knew was possible thanks to Trey’s leadership and guidance. His authenticity, integrity, and genuine commitment to his team is evident by the way he runs his organization. Like any job, it isn’t for everyone, but it’s certainly for me and for anyone else who isn’t afraid to leave their comfort zone, grow personally, and (for free) receive the best mentorship and coaching you could possibly ask for as a young adult.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
I worked here for all 5 years that I was in undergrad at UCF and had a great experience! Doesnt matter what your major is or what you plan to do, youll learn life and business skills that will help out. Out of all the jobs Ive had, this is the most caring and professional staff of managers Ive worked with :)
This place is a scam and waste of time. It was so creepy I got anxious and thought it was human trafficking. They are WEIRD. Can’t be straight forward at all.
Let me clear the room for the people calling it a scam I’ve worked with Cutco back in July 2017, this job is not for every one it’s for those that are committed to being the best versions of themselves and not giving up as soon as they face adversity! You start off with people you know and are comfortable with and build your network through recommendations for those saying “we sell only to family”. Representatives are paid $14.50 per appointment and have the opportunity to make a lot more through their sales ! There are over 18 Million customers that can attest their love to the product, and Better Business Bureau rated this company A+ and they are sponsored by DECA and treat their people with the most respect I’ve ever seen. If you want a pay stamp labeled on your head and have someone tell you what you are worth look else where.
Dont be fooled by this management and company, my friends and I have had the absolute worse experience with them and would NEVER recommend this to anyone. If it sounds too good to be true, It probably isnt true. Do your research.
Was directed to apply here for a craigslist job. The building is dirty and the offices had leftover food wrappers on the ground. The only person was running around in the back and didnt have time to talk to us. So, we left. Of course I had no interaction with the service they offer, but based on that experience, I do not recommend coming here.
I made over $20,000 working part time with this company around school in the past year. Best experience of my life!
This company truly cares about their representatives with the pay increases and advancement opportunities
The management staff is great and very good a coaching, the company offers a great opportunity
Trey is a great trainer and truly has his representatives best interest in mind. It was a pleasure working with him!
I 100% believe to my core that every student should work for Vector! The skills learned working here and the opportunity for resume building is no where near comparable to any other job option for students!
Get place to work to gain valuable experience in your personal and professional life, doesnt matter what job field youre going into
My daughter worked for Vector marketing selling Cutco knives. She is a student attending UCF and was looking for a part time job to make a little spending money. Due to the extensive hours and high pressure, she resigned. She was belittled & harassed by both Trey & Jenna. She was told she was a quitter and would amount to nothing. They are unethical, mentally abusive people to work for. I would discourage any student looking to work for Vector to reconsider.
I went in for an interview as a salesman today after being recommended for the job by someone I went to highschool with. The woman I spoke to over the phone about the interview beforehand and the email I received after stated the interview would last 1-1.5 hours; in reality, it ended up taking 3.5 hours. The pay scheme is set up so that you work on commission (10-30% depending on how much you sell for them during your career there) with a minimum base pay of $14.50. You might assume thats per hour, but they very intentionally fail to mention that its $14.50 per demo you do. What a demo entails is not only showing off the product for supposedly an hour, but many a call beforehand to find someone who will be willing to let you give them a demo. The calling portion of the job, in addition to the two meetings a week in-office, are unpaid, meaning what you initially assume to be $14.50 an hour quickly falls much lower. After learning that the people you will be cold-calling for demos are not just a random list of phone numbers but your self-selected close friends and families, I declined to continue my interview. If you have no conscience about manipulating your relatives into purchasing expensive (though admittedly high quality) cutlery, this may be the job for you; otherwise, this phishing scam (give us your friends and families contact information so we can hire them or sell to them!) is better left alone.
Such an amazing company!! Love being surrounded by positive, hard working individuals!!
Location of couple of churches and business offices. Exterior could use some renovations.
