Not a bad place to deliver to, has on site parking prior to delivery and there are a few truck stops about 30 min away for afterwards.

Nice place to deliver to. Plenty of space to both park and back into docks. You can park to take ur break to get your hours back if needed, but no 24hr parking. Big staging area for parking and has a small building at staging area with restrooms for men and women. Also two vending machines for vhips/candy and soda.

I love this place I go there once a week I never have any trouble getting into the facility as soon as I arrive I’m always told to go check in at the office to get my assigned dock door once at the dock it can be a lengthy visit sometimes which I don’t mind but my boss sure does because I do get a hourly salary so my delivery usually consists of between 8-15 pallets of printed weekly store advertising for various distribution centers in Florida and GA as to why the time at the dock ranges from an hour and a half to three and half hours or more sometimes but it is what it is I mean it’s Publix after all if you ever delivered to Publix before then you know what I’m talking about it’s trucking in my opinion nothing you can do about it but take it as they give it no need to be upset about anything because again it’s trucking that’s all I have to say except the customer service is pretty damn good at this location from the guard at the gate to the check in people to the dock workers all very good customer service which is a big part of trucking to me

Id give it zero stars if I could. Only reason it even deserves a star is that its got a huge staging area. Other then that. Hours before a door, hours to unload, ridiculous lumper fees etc. Definitely dont be in a hurry delivering here.

The most unprofessional Publix I ever delivered too. Everyone is too busy smoking outside or chatting in the office to do any work. Please explain why I was here 5 1/2 hours for waiting for them to take off 1 pallet off my truck. If the supervisor actually held the workers responsible like all the other Publix I deliver at things will change. Clearly told them from the beginning I have another stop at another Publix but because of the foolery here I’m late.

Nice people but plan for a long wait and expensive lumper fee! Checked in at 7:30am for a 9am apt! Got a door right on 9am but wasn’t done unloading till 1pm. Plenty of parking space though and also overnight parking available.

We drop and hook 90% of the time but when we have to dock the load they are quick, Usually 2 hours for cold storage. Pay bill with phone they bring paperwork and your out of there. Overnight parking after 8 pm. Everyone is nice as could be.

A lot of bad reviews and I don’t understand. I arrived at 7pm for delivery at 6am the next day. Was immediately put on the dock. Was called at 5am to bring the bills inside. When I got back outside, unloading was already started. Hopefully paying the lumper fee and getting the bills will go just as smooth!Update. Didn’t have a lumper fee and was out within a hour. Awesome place!!!

Its a refrigerated warehouse. But its an awesome place to work at, people are friendly, pay is great and theres no micromanaging. So far have had an amazing experience here.

Plenty of parking, easy backing and nice people. You will be there for a little while though, but theyve taken me hours early plenty of times.

U check in with security and they direct you to the proper receiving dock and you wait for a phone call. Its not too bad of a place to deliver in my opinion.

Fast unload once dock door was assigned. Friendly and helpful gate, staging parking available for OTR drivers. Receiving office and unloaders nice and helpful also. Staging area has picnic tables, bathrooms, and trash cans for drivers.

Be prepared to wait, the loading and unloading process sometimes takes 2 to 3 hours.

Customer service is bad here! Every time & the lumpers man ridiculous. Guy didnt even want me to ask a question. screamed stay in truck, stay in your truck.

Gave it a 1* because there’s no option for a -5 I’ve been sitting in a door for awhile had a 5:30 am Appointment, not many pallets at all, still haven’t touched it. Plenty of workers siting around in the room waiting to unload, just waiting for the stimulants to kick it, or maybe they have kicked in, herd 2 guys having a conversation about blazing at break. Gotta love getting held up for no reason.

Really poor service. Got there at 7am for 830 appointment, bumped the dock at 820, they didnt start unloading my 3 pallets until 940. Then they told me to pull off the dock so they could pull in a drop trailer, then they made me wait another 15 mins for my paperwork.

Bad place for delivery. They dont respect the OTR drivers. Prepare to sit for hours. Per Publix transportation department this is a busy location so they take whatever time they want.Had deliver to this place before no issues.... now is a mess. 6 hrs to get empty with appt and being there on time. Avoid unless u want to waste time.

You can arrive early up to 12 hours will let you park in staging area call you with a door. Or park in staging after empty up to 12 hours which is great with no parking in Orlando. But unloading is very slow 6 to 10 hours with lumper payment. God bless and stay safe drivers

Omg do I hate delivering to this place. Its on my top 5 worst places to deliver to. If you have a live unload here get ready to wait. I had 3 pallets only and it took 6 hours to unload. They need to get on the ball with the live unloads. If you can drop a trailer here do so. That way you can get in and out

4hrs past appointment before moved into door then 45 min to unload. Ridiculously bad.

Frozen Foods Delivery.Checked in at 06:00 for an 07:00 appt. Got a door immediately and started working on us by 06:30... Completed unloading by 10am.. waited on paperwork till 11:45.. out the gate by 12:00... Lumper was $315 for 22 pallets. As far as waiting for the paperwork, they are supposed to bring it out to you,but I recommend going to them every so often because they WILL forget about you!. I went in there three times and on the third time my paperwork was just sitting there on the table.

Lady would rather sit on her __ and watch you freeze your __ off than not only help you, but just acknowledge you are even there. Id avoid Publix loads.

This used to be a good place to deliver, last 6 months it has gotten worse and worse to deliver to . Checked in 5 am on 6 am app. Door at 8 am still sitting in door for 6 pallets, . And late for second appointment. Good job guys

Took way too long to unload me but once they started they worked until they were done I dont see what takes 5 and 6 hours to unload a truck I used to do it myself in 20 minutes

Good overnight parking. Restrooms by the Staging Area. Smooth check in w/security last night. Smooth as butter on the freezer side with check in. Appointment time 0800 depart time with pprwrk in Hand, 1700. Lovely

Got here at 0330 for a 0430 appointment. Sat in staging for 3 or so hrs, got called at 0645 for a door. Got into door and went to receiving office and waited an hr in there. Finally dropped bills and went back to truckSat for 1 1/2 before they started unloading. Finished unloading 1 hr later. Ive had a green light for almost 3 hrs but I have to wait to get my bills back and they come to us with them. I went in the office twice and asked about them and was just told to wait.This is a 2 part load with publix in Deerfield as the last drop. Thats a 3 hr run from here and Im most likely gonna be late.

Horrible place! You got plenty of space to back up. BUT............ they take too long to unload you. I have been on a dock for the past 3 hours and they haven’t even started unloading me yet, knowing I checked in 15 minutes early. First time here and hopefully never again.

Absolutely the worst of the Publix distribution centers, doesnt matter what time your appointment is theyll take you when theyre ready and theyre never ready, arrived 10 hours before my appointment and still havent been assigned a door 4 hours after my appointment time... What a joke

Ive delivered to this warehouse 6 times, and each experience is worsethan the last.

If you are a driver and happen to come here to unload.....then be prepared because you are not going to make money for a day...you better bring your entertainment system and a BBQ grill...it is going to be a long day.

App for 07.00 AM its 12.30 they do not even start unloading the driver . Only 6 pallets . We have 2 more deliverys in Lakeland FL and Duffield Beach FL . And we miss bout . Good JOB . Please keep the good work going . Hope that the General manager on Publix is seeing all this reviews . Employs are sitting on there phones and smoking cigarettes every 5 min .

Today 03/17/2021 I want to convey to the managers of this distribution that they are not doing the job well, I do not really know what is happening but they are working very badly in the reception department, I am here before 1:45 am and my hour of Download was for 8:00 in the morning, they always call you here an hour before the download and today everything has been different I had to come to the office at 8:45 because they did not call me and now I pay the comchek electronic and They tell me that they have not finished yet and it is 11:49 am almost 12 hours in the same city and it turns out that I have another stop at 12 in Jacksonville, Fl was talking to the staff and they have told me that they have changed the bosses and There is even discontent there was a worker who told me that this was due to injury, there is discontent within the same center, my recommendation is that they come until some time passes and get organized.

Great staging area for parking with real restrooms.we finished our 10 hour break there and arrives 3 hours early.to sleep for a phone call with dockdoor number.

This place is terrible. They over book appointments. 9 am appointment and its 5 pm still sitting in the door waiting for lumpers to give price. Avoid this location at all costs. Its not worth the time or frustration

Wow. I was here early about 8 Am even though my appointment was at 11:30. Sat in the dock about 2 and a half hrs before they started to unload 2 pallets now waiting almost 3 more hrs to get paperwork For 2 PALLETS U CAN TEACH A MONKEY TO COUNT FASTER THAN THAT.

They hate truckers here. Super long unload times. Please write a review on trucker path, shipper info and lets stop running freight here until they improve. Management needs to be replaced by professional logistic personnel.

If theyre going to have you sit for multiple hours the least they could do is let you uber to a hotel to shower and eat. But they wont even let you do that. I seriously dislike this place. Ive been to the Lakeland dc and miami dc and this is by far the worst publix DC; and the worst DC in general I have ever been to. Most definitely will not be returning.

Thank you for the overnight staging area. The guard shack guy was perfect, friendly, knew his job, and informative!! Drove 600 miles tired and slightly grumpy but he was so pleasant...he never saw my grumpy side...the staging area had area with vending machines...my drink was decent priced $1.35. Clean WOMEN restroom...thank you😊Got no complaints!

5:30AM appointment time. Got here at 8:00PM last night and waited in (large) staging area. Its 10:00AM, STILL NO DOOR!

I was 30 minutes late due to weather conditions, they refused the load, no place to park in Orlando, drove almost 30 miles to find a safe place to park, is not fair, no consideration at all, we give it all to bring our load and they just don’t give a flying (you know what), I will never spend a single penny at Publix ever again.

To me they were very helpful,Florida is nice to me.i feel stupid for pulling out on red light because I was told to go on different dock to unload myself,I am sorry 😐 for that.thank you lumper guys for the directions and help.

The whole receiving process needs to be reformed and made more professional. Too many people not caring about efficiency. I strongly suggest LTL docks for carriers with multiple stop loads! The lumper service is fantastic they do their job. Publix drops the ball on the receiving end!

Not too long too unload but the staff is unfriendly to help you. Truck drivers standing in their receiving warehouse -10 degree to ask about the paperwork but the staff is busy laughing, cracking jokes and ignoring while seeing the driver standing in front of them . Non of them wearing masks . Not even one of them

Got here 30 minutes early. Two hours and thirty minutes later I am still waiting for an unloader to give me the ok to open the doors and dock.The receiving team seem to be very young people in their 20’s. They are very immature in that they don’t have a concept of respect for the people who are much older; Specifically Commercial Drivers who come here to unload.This Distribution center has a failure in management.

Friendly staff just very slow for my paperwork dont listen to the guard if she tells you to back up and wait make sure its the people in the shipping receiving desk that tells you after a hr of watching others pull in and go into the office like Normal I decided to venture in and im glad I did that cut down the wait considerably im sure.

The lumpers at this facility run the place, these are also the same people who have no consideration of other peoples time. Pulled up to the dock door at 8AM for my 9AM appointment its now 12:30PM and they have not even opened the trailer doors to start unloading.Dont waste your time delivering to this place publix does not value or respect the truck drivers as much as the media wants you to believe they do.
