On a recent travel to Orlando we were greeted by a friendly driver after only a short week and were even offered a bottle of water! After a short ride to the office we were again greeted by a friendly and upbeat representative with no wait and even received an upgrade! On our return we were greeted immediately in the lot and assisted with our baggage into the store and again met with our friendly agent from Mike from Detroit and an agent from Tampa. Again, no wait to return the car and after a very short wait was once again assisted with our luggage. This was an affordable and a pleasant experience. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

This was a terrible experience. We rent vehicles at least three to four times a year. We have never experienced such a different set of policies requiring mandatory purchase of insurance at such a high rate.The wait time was long, the level of service was average and the amount of upselling was incredible.

This is the worst rental car company Ive ever attempted to rent from.A few tips from a customer, for what its worth:- Get the employees some business cards, especially your management- answer the phone- provide a correct phone number- act like professionals- provide better customer service- read the reviews and do better- dont suck

The shuttle doesnt run properly I waited from 1045 till 1145 and saw no shuttle at all sadly they close at 12 so i didnt get my rental and it ruined my whole trip! If i could give them no Star I would!

I rent about 40 cars a year from all different companies and these Guys are below par. Cannot get a return on the deposit which seems to be the same experience everyone has. The cost is easily 4X any other company. DO NOT USE THEM. They dont deserve any stars but this form requires at least one star in order to post a comment.

Booked a three day rental and I am more than pleased with the service I received from this company. They gave me good recommendations such as getting a sunpass, which helped big time and they gave me great tips when touring the city.Overall, I will like to thank Hugo and his coworkers for hooking me up real nice! :)

DO NOT RENT FROM RIGHT CARS! THIS IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY WITH DECEPTIVE AND FRAUDULENT BUSINESS PRACTICES. In addition to waiting over an hour despite being the 2nd person in line upon arrival to get our vehicle, this company insisted that a refundable $250 deposit was required for the vehicle. Upon returning the car in the same condition with a full tank, I was told that the deposit would be refunded within a few days.Thinking that it was suspicious that they couldnt just provide the refund when I returned the car, I asked for the managers name so I could call if there were any delays with the refund. I was also suspicious because I noticed that the workers wouldnt answer the phones whenever anyone call the branch. I waited for my credit card statement to verify that the refund had been processed. Of course, the refund didnt get processed AND it was impossible to get anyone to answer their phones which was consistent with what I witnessed when I was waiting to rent our van.After being unable to get in touch with anyone at the branch, I reached out to their HQ location which is Europe. After more than 15 emails back and forth including multiple requests from them for the same documentation that I provided several times as proof that the deposit had been charged but never refunded, someone finally emailed to let me know that they were taking over the case and needed my bank details to transfer the money electronically because I would be charged fees if they mailed an actual check. This also sounded suspicious but I provided the information after verifying her email address was legitimate.Would you like to guess whether they ever sent an electronic refund payment??? OF COURSE NOT! Not only did they NOT send a refund, they didnt even respond to several follow-up emails that I sent asking about the status of the refund.The bad news for them is that Ill be paying them a personal visit very soon.

DO NOT RENT ANYTHING! STILL OWED THE DEPOSIT FOR A VEHICLE RETURNED IN DEC 19. If you try to call, they place you on hold forever. Paid my tolls and left copy of receipts and still got charged. They are offsite and you cannot count with returning your vehicle and making it to your flight. Plenty of fine print they will not tell you untill you make it there. For example; There is a daily charge of $20 if you use the tolls instead of paying cash. They do not give you the meter that has the lever for you to turn off, so the toll charges it automatically making you have to pay the $20. Another is the $2,000 deposit if you have a Florida Drivers License, if you have an out of state is $250. I feel sorry for those who paid the $2,000 because Im still owed the $250. Please learn from customers that are rating them. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF! You have been warned...

Please do no rent from this company. They are usually the lowest priced but will charge you more money. I was charged for supposed paint scratches. They refused to give me a receipt for the $300.00 dollars they charged me. I had purchased insurance that would have covered the damage.

Where do I begin with this rental place. I WOULD SUGGEST YOU RATHER WALK IN FLORIDA THAN RENT A CAR FROM THESE GUYS! Its a tiny shady office. Theyll offer good rates on kayak and Expedia to lure you in and try to upsell you like crazy. They required $300k liability insurance to avoid insurance from them. BE WARE. My f-ing Mercedes dont need that much for property damage than what they require for tiny piece of garage that theyre offering. NO NO TO THIS PLACE FOREVER! Where can I rate this guys zero star!

Do not ever rent from this company. Thieves and liars. The employees are the counter were rude and disrespectful. They insisted on many addidtional options and practically refused to let me deny them. It was a horrible experience. I booked through Expedia at a given price. Right Cars charged me an additional $275 which they said was just a hold in the card. It has been 2 weeks and they still haven’t refunded my money. When calling the company there is no one ever answers. It is such a scam. Stay away from this place.

All the reviews of the Right-Car scam are spot on. You will pay the full cost online and will be hit with hundreds of dollars of additional fees. Two hours to get the car. Unhappy, yelling people in line, but you are stuck! Dont do it. Run from these people. I cannot believe they are still in business. Unreal! Their corporate offices will do nothing to help you. Out $600 for a six day economy car rental. You will never see a penny of what they claim will be credited back to you. Crooks and liars. Expedia will also do nothing to help you.

I wish I could give 0 stars. This place goes under a couple different names. Executive Car Rental or Right-Car Rental. They are located inside a Red Coach building. We waited at the airport for 30 minutes to be picked up by the shuttle. I sat on hold the whole time too because I was worried that Right-Car Rental and Executive Car Rental does not appear on the rental service sign at the airport. When we finally got there the process was lengthy and my reservation apparently had never been completed by the lady that took my reservation. She left it in a draft state and didnt submit it. Thankfully they still had a vehicle for me. When dropping off I arrive at 6:30am, the people from Red Coach said Executive Car Rental or Right-Car Rental do not arrive until 8am. She told me to leave my keys in the drawer. That made me feel uncomfortable but I did not want to miss my flight, so I did and then called for a taxi. A bit frustrating I had to pay for a taxi to get back to the airport when the car rental place advertised they have a shuttle. As the taxi pulled in someone arrived that worked at Executive Car Rental or Right-Car Rental, he said he rental doesnt start running until 8:30am! Very inconvenient! This rental cost me more money in the end because I had to pay for a taxi. Do not rent from here!

International visitors should stay away from this rental agency. They do not accept valid credit card rental insurance and will try to sell their overpriced insurance product (~$30/day) citing state laws in Florida. We wasted hours of our trip trying to settle this and eventually ended up getting a rental from the airport with a recognized car rental company.

WORST CAR RENTAL EVER! Do not rent from these people. First started with a 45 min wait for the airport shuttle, then being last in line with only one clerk for all, he decides to take a break and leave everyone waiting. Finally our turn only to find out my $196 paid in advance reservation there was $300 additions in fees and insurance. Completely unprofessional staff, a complete ripoff and there was no way around, I decided to cancel my reservation and not give these people anymore of my money, I preferred to go to another car rental company and start all over. The sign said executive car rental so watch for those people also. This is all a scam. I am now trying to get my money back from Expedia so who knows how that will turn out. One start is more than they deserve, no star whatsoever. STAY AWAY!!!

Worst place in Orlando to deal with. Horrible customer service. Thieves!! Make a reservation for a specific car and then they say they don’t have the car and you can pay more money for a different car. FYI they are not on the airport property so if you say no you are stranded in a crappy part of Orlando. Thank goodness for Uber and the ability to go back to the airport and get a rental car from a legit company!!! Waste of my time!! I’m still fighting to get my money back from these thieves. What a douche bag company!!

Someone needs to shut this business down. Waiting 45 minutes at the airport and couldn’t get anyone at the place to answer the phone. When we finally got the shuttle the shuttle driver was playing on his phone while driving us. Got to the rental car company and they tried to force us into a sun pass. We knew there wouldn’t be any tolls so we refused. Took 2.5 hours just to get the car and leave. We were told it would be 3 days to get our deposit of $250 back its been almost 7 days and we still don’t have jt. Credit card company will dispute it and get it back but this has been a terrible experience. DO NOT use this company. We made the girl that checked in the car sign our paperwork saying the car came back in perfect condition and with a full tank of gas even thought we got it at 3/4 if a tank. Worst part is we booked through Travelocity! I’ll never use them for booking again.

STAY AWAY THEY ARE THE WORST IN THE PLANET. They will attract you with the price online but be ready for the extra at the counter which you will be ending up paying so much. Dont waste your time because I had to cancel and go get car from the airport. Also be aware they are outside of the airport and thats why they take advantage of this because their shuttles are horrible to get back to the airport.

Never again. Charged me a $1,000 deposit and only offered me 150 miles per day unless I paid them an additional $87.50. I paid every toll road myself yet they charged me $180.00 for tolls. Only got my deposit back (not the full thing either) because I annoyed them so much. Shuttle driver refused to take me to proper terminal. Never use this company. Spent way more than they advertised with their fake fees and charges.

NO STARS! I had to click one star so I could post this review, not fair! DO NOT RENT HERE! They try to sell you their car rental insurance and then they want to add on the fee of the tolls, even if you werent going to drive on a toll road. If you say you have car rental insurance on your personal policy they want to call your Insurance Company to verify. No way! Still trying to get my money back that was pre-charged on my credit card. When Expedia tried to call them back, they had no record or no notes on the account that I even came in to try to rent. Luckily I was able to get a ride from this location to my hotel. Shady shady!! I think the guy thought if he offered us all a bottle of water while waiting in line it would help his business, NOT!!!

We booked a car with this company and had to pay at the time of booking, which is fine. Once we arrived at the airport, we waited for the shuttle that was supposed to run every 15 min. So I called and was told that they closed at 10 when my reservation clearly said that we were able to pick up until midnight. They still had a shuttle driver so they made a trip to the airport to pick us up and 2 other families that also thought they were open until midnight. Once we arrive at the rental place we were then informed that we had to pay a $250 on top of the $200 we had already paid in advance. This was a surprise fee that even the associate could not find on my reservation but because it was on their paperwork we had to abide by it. Once everything was done we ended up paying another $316 along with the original $200. Total we payed over $500 to rent a subpar car for 4 days when we were expecting the original $200. I will NEVER use the rental car service again.

I cannot tell you how unpleasant our experience was using Right Cars. The shuttle did not run on a 15 minute schedule as we were told, and it did not even have the correct company name on the shuttle. We did not receive the type of vehicle we requested - apparently they had no cars and we were given a minivan. We were made to wait an unreasonable amount of time. Then we did not receive our 250 dollar deposit back in a timely manner and had to call to make that happen finally. I cannot believe how terrible Right Cars was. Shame on them for doing such lousy business.

I’ve would given this place ZERO stars but google makes me put one. The guy at the counter tried ripping us off. Me and my friends where trying to rent a car for a good price but he tried to charge us unnecessary fees like insurance which other places didn’t require. The guy also said that this company was “was one only two” company’s that accepted drivers over 21. Let me also not forget he tried to give us a better car than what we order in which it rose the price more. The guy at the counter was rude and disrespectful. Have a feeling we dodged a bullet here. After waiting 35 minutes for a shuttle that comes every 15 minutes and being put on hold indefinitely TWICE, we elected to go inside and rent from someone else for nearly the same price. After reading the reviews, I think we made the right choice. Booked through Expedia because it was cheap. Go inside! A little more money for way less waiting and hassle.

This place is the worse. The only good is that the airport shuttle didnt take very long to come but then it went downhill after that. It took over 30 mins to be seen by a customer service rep and then he says that I cant use my own Sunpass. This is the 1st time renting a car in Florida that I have ever heard this nonsense. This is a new car rental company in Orlando and they are scammers. Do not trust them. They offer cheaper rates than others, but will charge you surprise fees when you show up like a mandatory toll pass for $9 per day and $250 damage deposit that actually gets charged to your card not just authorized and upon the return of your vehicle they claim they will refund it and they never do. They dont answer their phones and good luck finding their shuttle at Orlando Airport. Do not use them!

Worst worst car rental service! My boyfriend is still waiting for customer service to refund his credit card! He was double charged for the same car ! Over an extra 300 dollars! No one returns his calls and he is given a complete run around! When he arrived to pick up his rental he waited over 3 hours to receive his car and nobody in the company knew what they were doing as he was told this company was brand new! We wish we had found reviews on this car rental place before booking through orbitz! If Orbitz doesn’t help us straighten this out I will refuse to use them again as well as we are loyal customers to them as well! Do not get scammed by this car company! I don’t even want to give them any stars but for the sake of warning others, here it is. Terrible company! I didn’t even go through with renting a car because all of their policies aren’t listed on Orbitz and had I known that: 1. The pick up site was not at the airport as advertised; 2. The force you in a situation where you would *have * to take their insurance (if you want to provide your own insurance the coverage have to be$300k like WHAT?!? For a Nissan Versa??) 3. The deposit is $500 on your credit card 4.You can’t take the car out of Florida or else they’ll charge you $500. Honestly I was baited because the rate was super low for the 3 days I needed a rental but they hit you with all of these fees when you get there. I hope I get refunded; we’ll see.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. They advertise they are an airport rental car company yet are off site and dont open until 8 am. Which is not posted anywhere. We had to get an Uber at 6 am. It is off site from Orlando Airport and the shuttle from the airport takes a long time. Check in at the counter took 1 hour because there were 3 others complaining. I made a reservation but it wasnt in the system. The only saving grace is that the employees were nice. I feel bad for them working for such a poorly run business.

From a message board post I found by an employee of this company...Never rent from Right Cars in Orlando Florida...We advertise the best price, but you are NEVER able to actually rent a car at that price. By the time you figure this out, you are at our counter which is miles from the airport and you have no way to get out of here.You dont have a signed form from your insurance company that proves you have your own insurance? sorry, that is an additional $59 per day.The person that made the reservation is the only person that can drive the car (unless you pat an additional $49 per day for a second driver). We are trained to enter the credit card info incorrectly for the first driver so the card is rejected. The only way you get the car is to add the second driver - whose credit card always works! Amazing!You get the idea. We are trained to milk you out of your money. You cant leave and dont have a choice - and we use that to our advantage.We get bonuses based on our month average sale above the reservation price.We are all native Floridians, but we only hire people that look like they may be foreigners and use broken english in front of the customers which prevents them from having a serious conversation with us. We just act like we dont understand you and repeat that we need to add a second driver...95 % of you idiots keep paying and paying for our scams. And you paid in advance, so you will never get your money back from Right Cars.Rent at your own risk from these scammers.

Came in to pick up our prepaid car and they told us that we have a balance remaining which is not true they overcharge us and they have no explanation what is the extra money for and when I showed them the email that i paid in full the lady at the front desk laterally told me “I don’t care” you need to call and get more information I am only go by what i se. Bottom line the staff is so RUDE and unprofessional, manager is useless and they will over charge you. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

This is the WORST CAR RENTAL experience EVER!! My booking made it seem like I could pick my car rental up from the airport directly, but it turns out I was to wait for a shuttle that supposedly ran every fifteen minutes. I waited an hour for a shuttle to come get me and the customer service number on the website never puts you in contact with a real person. Seriously, I called every number out there for this company. It continues to play the same message over and over again no matter which number you click. Once the shuttle finally arrived, I then waited in line at a car rental place attached to a bus stop for 45 minutes with the worst customer service ever. I was forced to pay an additional $50 for tolls (which I never ended up passing any) and put down a $250 deposit which I cant get back from the car rental place because I cant get in touch with a real life human. So overall, I ended up paying over $350 for a car when I could have walked up to Enterprise directly and paid less.I was given a different car than I booked because they didnt even have any of the cars I requested. The Jetta I was given was dirty and had stains all over the seats. They handed me keys and left me in the lot to find the car on my own, which it wasn’t even there so they had to go get the car from somewhere else. It was a busy Friday night and they only had two people working the counter, one girl was trying to leave work and leave the guy on his own when there were at least twelve people behind me in line still. I was told by the people at the counter that when I returned my car on Tuesday morning, someone would be there two hours before my flight to accept the car (my flight departed back to Atlanta at 9:15 from Orlando). They were CLOSED. I had to move a cone in the parking lot and park the car myself. There was a very rude woman working at the bus stop side of the building who said I could throw the keys in a drawer behind Right Cars counter myself. I had to walk around the counter which Im sure I was not supposed to do and leave the keys just so I wouldnt miss my flight. I then had to pay for an Uber since there was no shuttle. I couldnt fill out any paperwork with the company for returning the car. I am so livid about this experience and now am having to dispute the deposit charge with my bank just because I cant get in touch with anyone that works at the company.

This place is running a scam... Id do ZERO stars if possible! They are charging tourists for toll fees which the driver had paid cash for. They require an up front deposit which they say is a damage deposit, but even when returning the car in the condition it left the lot they take money out of the deposit claiming their toll pass was charged even though the toll was proven to be paid with cash!

I wish I had of read the reviews before i rented. We are out of country and had no problem getting the shuttle to the company or using our own inurance. We still have not been refunded our deposit and were emailed an invoice with fuel surcharge and airport fees (which were included in my expedia purchase) I have it in writing. We also had to point out to them that the vehicle was at 1/4 of a tank not full as they said we had to return it full. The van was filthy dirty inside and out but we were told that is all they had for us to rent but would not charge us extra. We will see how the refund goes as that will depend if I give more stars or less. The guys were nice but definitely smooth talkers and they knew I wasnt buying it. The lady when we dropped off was not overly friendly and just asked for keys.

I had a terrible experience with this company. The attendant at the counter was rude and condescending. She seemed to have a problem with the fact that I booked through Expedia and not directly through them. She was very unhelpful with the additional questions that I wanted clarity on saying things like I dont know you booked with a third party etc., waving her hands around in a dismissive way. Her sarcasm after a long travel day was extremely unwelcome. A nice gentleman stepped in to make things better and he truly tried to make up for her unprofessionslism. Ultimately, it was the contract I had a problem with i didnt agree with the toll policy nor the fact that $250 would be charged and not simply held to my credit card. I had not read the reviews until after I had the unpleasant experience. The shuttle driver was efficient and friendly and very welcoming. The young lady that handles customers and rentals needs an extensive amount of customer service training and should be removed from the front desk as a representation of the company until she understands clearly that she is a representation of the company regardless of how rentals are booked including through third parties. Bad decision having her there. The office could use a little cleaning as well. Overall, this company would never get my business in the future. I cancelled my reservation and took the shuttle back to the airport and rebooked with another rental car company. A huge disappointment. I do want to, however, thank the gentleman that attempted to make us happy and the great customer service the shuttle driver extended to my family.

My mistake was not going online to read the reviews before booking; even through Expedia. I figured Expedias fine print was good enough... but it wasnt. I was bullied into taking their insurance for more than I paid for the car rental, even though I had my own insurance coverage and it theirs was not mandatory like they said. They took advantage of me being stranded there later at night and not being able to walk out when I realized their scam. The worst was not providing me with a receipt when I dropped the car off. I will never book anything without thoroughly reading reviews again.

No Star!!!, hope Im able to give them no star.Before returned the car, my schedule was changed, I had to extend the rental for several days1. I was required to go back to their location in person to do the extension, it cannot be done over the phone according to their policy, then I had to drive one hour from Daytona Beach to their location in Orlando.2. After arrived there, I was required to provide a ticket in order to extend the rental, however, I didnt book the return ticket yet, then they refused to extend the rental, I had to take shuttle bus to go to airport, rented a car from other company.Terrible experience, this kind of company should go out of business

Took over an hour and twenty minutes for shuttle to pick us up at airport to go to rental place which is only 10 minutes from airport. Person on phone was rude and non-helpful when I called to complain. And it took several calls and a long time each attempt to actually get to a live person, and usually disconnected me before I could talk to anyone. Then when they finally got me dropped if at the rental office, I had to show proof of insurance, which I’ve never had to show at a US rental car company and I keep that in my own car at home, not in my wallet! A week later, upon return of car to rental place, we waited 25 minutes for shuttle after being told it would be there in 5-10 minutes. There’s not even a sign with the “Right Cars” name on it anywhere outside the rental office, so I was lucky to even find the place. I’d never rent from this group again.

We booked through Travelocity.ca which said that Right Cars were at the airport. They are not at the airport! This was sketchy! After we were driven 15 min to a building without the name Right Cars on it, the staff told us we needed to fork over an extra $70 for the toll package which we had to pay or we get charged $10/toll even if we paid the toll. SCAM!! We were on the phone with Travelocity trying to cancel, chatting to staff and waiting in the lot with two families of 5 each with clothes on for cooler weather for over two hours. Thankfully Mike the new Manager there of 9 Days took care of us, he brought us out water, offered upgraded cars(over our Minivans) which we never took and finally Mike personally shuttled us back to the airport rentals level. After all of this hassle, Mike the Manager came out on top and deserves a raise or another job at a different company. I waited over one hour for the shuttle to arrive at the airport and pick me up, to drive me 10 minutes away, to a run down looking building with rough looking cars. Not at all what I expected. Expedia let me down on this rental suggestion. Once I arrived at the counter to pick up my car, I told the girl behind the counter that I was a little dissatisfied by how long the wait for the shuttle was, because it was over an hour wait...and the Justin Beiber looking girl behind the counter said If you dont like waiting, you should go home. Not lying, she really said that. After I picked my jaw up off the floor and tried to cool down my internal body temperature, I stated that I just wanted to get my car and get out of the roach infested building as soon as possible. She proceeded to explain all the additional fees and additional $250 deposit to me, which was not a fun thing to hear at that moment. Needless to say I was able to get out of the building without cussing, insulting or assaulting anyone (lol) and get my rental car. Which was about what I expected (dirty, run down, horrible smell, and broken driver mirror). I had to fill the tires up with air on the way to my destination. During my check in and check out experience, I witnessed 7 other customers going through similar horrible customer service treatments as I was. It was unreal to say the least. I am absolutely shocked that this company is still in business. Hopefully this review can help save someone else from a repeat of my experience.

I then got in Touch with Expedia as instructed by the agent. The Expedia representative assured me and confirmed via email that my cancellation would be processed. Firstly it took the desk crew of 2 people an hour to get through the customers in front of me. When it was finally my turn to get my car1. It wasnt nearly close to what I reserved.2. Service is horrible!!!! I called 5 times during different days of the week and different hours and never reached a human on the phone and the voicemailbox was full. On the 6th time I finally reached someone but was not helped really. I wanted to return the van a day early and couldnt get that refunded. My flight was at 7am and they were not open that early to shuttle me back to the airport so I would have had to call a cab out of pocket. I kept on hoping that they would make my experience a little better by offering a discount or something but all I received was Im sorry we cant. Do NOT rent from this place!! Just dont do it!First off, this company is NOT at the Orlando airport. There were no signs and the guy at the information booth,... AT THE RENTAL CAR AREA never heard of Right Cars. I called and the automated message directed us to a pickup location. To their credit, a driver did show up. He drove us 15 minutes to a bright red building and the only thing that would tell you its Right Cars is the guy that drove you there assuring you its the correct place... The car was priced cheap and the car was clean, but I was hit with the since you dont want to buy the Sunpass toll package, we need to hold your account for $250, in case you go through a toll. Complete bullcrap! When returning the car I walk in to hear an argument from a woman that got hit for $500 for the same thing. I was assured (promised actually) that my money would be returned within 5 days and he gave me a print out to prove it (which I turned out needing later). Two weeks go by... no money. I called them (Good luck getting through) 13 times before talking to a real person, who then said my money would be returned the next morning. Well, 2 more weeks go by and still nothing. I had to fill out an affidavit with my bank in order to get my money back and thankfully I had that print out to prove my case.It sure appears this company makes up reasons to assess an additional fee in hopes that if youre from out of town you will give up after calling them for weeks without being able to talk to someone. Never will o EVER rent from them again. I frankly would rather walk.

It took them over an hour to pick us up from the airport and when we we got to their business it took forever because everyone else was fighting with them over fees and being scammed. When we got to the counter we found out what the other people were talking about. They wanted a deposit which we had already paid, additional insurance, etc. When we returned the car they wanted an additional $53.00. My wife had to fight with them. I received great customer service from Willy and Mike. After having a horrible experience with NextCars, I decided to give RightCars a chance dispite their bad reviews and Im glad that I did. I fly on occasion to Orlando.. Right Cars is a relatively new company in Orlando so wasnt sure at first about their reputation. We waited at the airport for approx. 15 mins and was greeted by a nice driver. (Pick-up was at lines 11-13 at MCO. He offered us water when we boarded. Nice touch since I was thirsty after a long flight. Nice and clean shuttle bus over to the car rental facility which was off site.Upon arrival we were greeted by Mike (originally from Detroit) who was very friendly and made the experience very pleasant when we rented the car. We even got an upgrade!Upon drop off we were greeted by a friendly female (forgot your name but remember you were from Tampa) and Mike at the counter. They made the checkout process easy and smooth. I was never charged a higher price then the rate that I booked from Expedia.They had the best price by far and beat all other companies on Expedia and Travelocity. Will rent again from them!

My first mistake was thinking Expedia (who I rented through) would vet their partners. Expedia obviously doesnt care about the consumer, just their partners. My experience left me feeling like I was the victim of a serious crime, gangster style negotiations, and totally unheard by Expedia (you cant get ahold of Right Cars). Why why why didn’t I just book a car from the airport?? Assuming they weren’t a scummy rental place because I booked through Expedia, boy was I wrong. I did not read the reviews ahead of time on right cars/ executive cars/ red coach rentals. There is no signage at the office they take you to that says right cars, except for a photocopied piece of paper on a stand. That is more signage however than at the shuttle pickup at the airport. Nobody had even heard of this company.I called the office number and was able to find out where we should be waiting for the shuttle.When we boarded the shuttle, a man was getting off saying that he would never use them again. I assumed it was because the driver told us there were only mini vans available. This was fine with us because we booked a mini van.When we got to the shady office about 10 minutes from the airport, I had a bad feeling.“Tony” at the front desk got my information, and then asked for my insurance, or it’s an extra charge. I’m more than insured and had a photocopy of my insurance. Then I’m told that there is a toll fee. Mandatory toll fee. That’s an extra $10 a day. We aren’t going to be going on any toll routes though. Tony continues to argue with my wife, “well what if you do?”.You’re arguing with my wife there buddy boy. This is not going to end well for you.I spent nearly 90 minutes on the phone with Expedia. they got me out of this mess. They got the charges reversed from my credit card that I didn’t authorize. Horrible horrible customer service and all lies about great prices!!!Rented a car from Orlando through Expedia where it was claimed that all taxes and fees are included. Rights said expedia has wrong info. When it came to insurance, we were forced to get insurance as we were visiting from Canada and had a Canadian drivers licence. When asked where is this rule written, the reaction was, check on the website (BTW even website does not have any such RULE).We had to wait for 45min on the airport when they claimed the shuttle comes every 15 min. The bill we had to pay was US $73/day when through expedia we reserved it for only $19/day. There were three other customers who they were fighting with them infront of us about different reasons...it was unbelievable. We wanted to leave but we were brought to a location off the airport and there was no way to go back without a taxi and it was 3 hrs of standing waiting and dealing with them.When the car was returned the next day, we were told the deposit of US$250 will refunded in 3 days but even after 5 days we havent yet gotten our deposit back.In simple language, DO NOT USE THEM!

My credit card covers international car insurance but RIGHT CARS told me they do not accept insurance covered by credit cards. They offered me insurance for $ 30/day instead. (Expedia offered the same insurance quote for $15/day which I declined at the time of booking). I phoned my car insurance provider and signed up for international insurance for $25 -one year coverage ! I took the car back with tank full of gas and they still charged me for a full tank after!! They said “even if you brought the car back full, we still need to charge you!” That’s not the same claim on Expedia website! On Expedia, it specifies that full tank of gas will be charged if the car is returned with less gas than what it was received. RIGHT CARS charged me illegally for fees I was never told/warned about; fees totalling up to $400 !! - they charged me $250 $ deposit which they never returned!! Customer service is bad bad bad – they hardly answer the phone, and when they do, they promise to refund but they never do! READ READ and do not book this car company! They promise cheap fees until they get your credit card info!! This company gives you the option upon arrival to pay 10.00 per day for the use of the sunpass or you can just choose to pay cash...what they dont tell you is that a lot of Florida does not have cash lanes, its sunpass only and everytime you go through a toll (whether it be a cash toll or only sunpass) the company fines you 25.00 plus the toll! This company doesnt deserve 1 star! Rented through Travelocity with Right Cars Orlando Florida because it was the cheapest price. Boy did I make a mistake. Not only was I charged through Travelocity for the cost of renting/insuring the car, but Right Cars charged a $250 deposit which they did not refund for NO good reason.In addition, when I checked in at Right Cars in Florida they tried to sell me insurance on the car & I had to tell them I already booked a policy through Travelocity. Then they tried to sell me a SunPass for $9 a day. I refused this as I knew I wasnt going to be driving through tolls often - I only paid $9 total in tolls the whole week. However going through the tolls was a nightmare because every single toll worker told us we had a SunPass and didnt need to pay. I told them NO- do not charge the SunPass, charge me and give me a receipt. Most of the toll workers argued with me, and did not understand that I did not pay for the SunPass even though it was activated and on the car. I turned in all my receipts upon returning the vehicle.A month later, I still hadnt received my security deposit to report this. The Orlando office doesnt deal with these issues so they transferred me to Michigan. Then the people who answer that ph# transfer to another ph# which goes to voicemail. I left a message and 2 days later, still no phone call. I finally got a hold of a lady who said they just refunded us $186.95 - not the full $250 because a few toll booths charged the activated SunPass in the vehicle. Per this lady, it is policy even through I have the receipts from each toll both with date/time stamped. My only option would be contest it through the state of Florida to get what I paid in these 3 tolls- a measely $3ish. I asked her the date/time of these charges so that I could call the state of Florida to see if they can reverse the charges on the Sunpass (which she said is impossible)- and she doesnt have access to this information. The department that would have access doesnt take phone calls. Ridiculous! $63 charged for the toll booth workers not knowing how to reverse the charge on an activated SunPass.Not to mention the tank of gas in the car was on empty when we picked it up- and it was supposed to be full. So we had to drive straight to a gas station during rush hour traffic in an area we werent familiar with while stressed the car was going to stall. Thanks a lot for adding so much stress to a trip to Florida for my sisters funeral!
