⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This place was awesome! Stopped by last minute needed someone to look at my battery cables because they were shorting out really bad and have been causing problems starting my car for a while. Steffan and Mario were such a great help and really looked out for me they really know what theyre doing and then even checked my alternator and starter and let me know that I had a radiator cap that was leaking and that was the farthest thing for my mind. Very thoughtful and caring and they listen which was a big thing for me because Ive been getting hassled over this battery cable and they were the first ones that listen and actually fixed the problem!! definitely coming back again and have already told so many people definitely recommend!!! I like to have one shop I can trust to take care of my cars for me, and Daves is that shop. Ive used them for both of my Jeep Grand Cherokees, from difficult to diagnose issues to simple oil changes or tire rotations. Theyve always given me honest advice, excellent service, and fair prices. The staff is friendly and easy to talk to, theyre knowledgeable and quick with their work (time permitting), and communicative.This is the kind of shop that will remember who you are, and that goes a long way in todays world of impersonal corporate shops. As a woman, I have always dreaded going to the mechanic. However that all changed when I met Dave, Steffan, and the entire crew at Daves Auto. It was 6 years ago when I happen to shut down close to the shop because of some electrical issues. When my AAA driver arrived to help, I honestly had no idea what to do as the dealership was 44 miles away and we all know that they would have ripped me off so he recommended Daves as top notch and which happened to be less than 5 miles away from where I was. From that day forward, I am happy to report that I have never had car troubles since then that Dave couldnt fix. He and his team are swift to answer your questions and get help to you as soon as possible. He kept my old baby going for as long as I was wanted until I was ready to move on. I have used this repair shop before and Have been very satisfied till this visit. The primary problem is they fixed the car without contacting me for permission or letting me know what the problem. They are friendly and helpful. But fixing my car without permission is a serious mistake that I hope they dont make again.

I had a bad experience with them they were willing to charge me 150$ just for the diagnostic of the car to see what wrong with it . Imagine you have to pay someone to repair your at some point they would have done a diagnosis on it to see what wrong with it right ? and than charge you for the repair cost but they were willing to charge me 150$ for something they could have done for free if I asked them I dont know what wrong with my car can you repair it? .

A bit off the beaten path, but I went in because my car door wouldn’t roll up. Dave was very helpful and I even got a free car wash out of the deal!

This establishment, is very detailed and honest with you. And as a business owner, I value that. They explained everything to me and even sent me a video of what needed to be done. The repairs were superb and I was very pleased with the work that was done. If you need the trust and the repairs to be done the right way, this is your place.

I had my breaks and rotors, break booster replaced, Dave is very honest and tells you anything that may be done in the future. He even sent me a text video showing me what the problem was and I would recommend him to anyone and will be going back for any other things that need to be done to my vehicle. One of the best automotive shops around in Central Florida thats honest and fair. We use this shop to service our recon vehicles and do engine work for us. The quality of work and attention to detail has always been on point (A1). Any issues or concerns are corrected right away. Communication is great when it comes to problems arising when doing a job. Prices are great they are willing to work with you. Dave & Steffan are great guys and you can tell they care about the work that they do.

Upon arrival, it was a true miracle the car made it there, well, Dave and his team quickly diagnosed the problem. I was waiting in the A/C, reading a book while they diagnosed the issue. I am not accustomed to having the car diagnosed, parts arrive, repaired and out the door within 3 hours.Well, it was a major tune up as well as a sensor replacement that has made the car run much smoother. I have a few more repairs in the next month or so, I will definitely be returning. I highly recommend. Imagine my surprise, the interior was cleaned and sanitized and it had been washed. Color me sold. This is the place to go for honest service, done right the first time with integrity.

This is by far the best Machanic shop I’ve been to since moving out here, and I must say Dave’s customer service Is superb. Not only does he care about what he do, he also takes his time to explain to you what’s the best decision versus just taking your money and doing the bare minimum. He true and genuine to his word and I would recommend others to go here before you go anywhere else and get ripped off. I had taken my car to the Dealership for diagnostics and repairs. The experience was horrifying and the price was more frightening. I, left not knowing what to do next. I decided to Google repair shops near me. I came across Daves Auto and decided to take my car there. I took my car on Monday just before they closed a complete and thorough diagnostics was performed.on Tuesday morning while at work I received a call saying I have good news and informing me what needed to be done. What a blessing it was to meet Dave. My mom & I were travelling from Boston to VA, then from VA to Fl. As we were driving, we could hear water sloshing around on the inside and water leaking onto the passenger floor. We were praying that we would make it to my sister in Orlando before we continued on to Tampa. Once in Orlando, we called several places and no one could look at the car until later in the week. After seeing Daves 5 star reviews, I took a chance and stopped by. I met Dave & explained our situation and without hesitation, Dave looked at the car. Mind you his shop was full of cars waiting to be serviced, but he took the time to look at our car. Thankfully it was only a clogged ac line, so he cleared it and sent us on our way..... but wait theres more.While our car was being serviced, I asked about how long would it take because we had not eaten anything, Dave insisted on me taking his car. Dave didnt know us from Adam, he barely had our name at that point, however he pretty much put his car keys in my hand and said go!Dave was definitely Heaven Sent & mom & I truly appreciate your kindness, and all that you have done. Dave is a great guy. I had some relatives using my vehicle hours away near disney. The vehicle I let them use broke down. He left his shop on moments notice to come take a look at it. Then he got it to the shop and had it back up and running in UNDER 24 hours. He was honest with his quote and pricing. And he even offered to change the oil on it, which I opted to do! I found out that he even washed the car and cleaned up the wheels before pick up! This kind of service is hard to find this day in age. And Its always scary to trust someone with your car. I am considering using him for my other vehicles even though he is almost 2 hours from me. Thank you for everything!

It’s always tricky finding an auto shop that will be honest because let’s get serious, we all need our forms of transportation in our every day lives to function and they know that. I searched some local body shops and was shocked by how many people took time out of their busy schedules to write a review for this shop. I decided to give it a try and passed by and spoke to Steffan. If I could put even more stars for that guy, I would. I had to turn in my lease soon and my car battery just died and I had to fix the paint on my bumper. He was very honest and told me about how much a new car battery would cost me as well as fixing up the bumper. In the end, I found out my car was under warranty and the battery could be replaced for free from the manufacturer. Regarding the paint, my car was ‘pearl white’ which is a very hard color to fix apparently so he called his friend at another shop and told them to hook me up and that I was on my way since Dave’s didn’t do that kind to work. I didn’t give Steffan or Dave’s a dollar, yet they still helped me find the best way to fix my car at a low cost. If that’s not quality customer service, I don’t know what is. This place will tell it to you straight and just wants you to leave as a happy customer, whether it be at their shop or not. Needless to say, if I have any other car trouble in the future, I will definitely make it back to Dave’s. Thanks again, Steffan! You’re the man!

I was having difficulties with my battery, It had an electrical leak that I couldnt determine.The first place where I took my car told me that I needed a new alternator. I was lucky to have Daves shop nearby, they determined that the problem was as simple as disconecting a cable in the trunk (it doesnt close properly). I would come back.

Dave had been great from the very beginning. My fiances car was involved in a car accident and we had been stuck without our working vehicle for over 2 months. Dave made it right for us. Him and his team went above and beyond to get our car back on the road without breaking the bank. We ran into an issue a week later unfortunately with a part of the suspension breaking. We reached out to Dave and let him know right away. We live over 45 miles away from his shop but he requested and paid for the tow and had our car fixed with a brand new part in not even 24 hours. We were also VERY impressed that they cleaned the car inside and out both times it was serviced. Dave was an amazing guy to work with and very loyal and honest. We will forever be bringing our vehicles back to him. I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!!!

I’ve been getting my car serviced at Dave’s Auto Repair for over 5 years now and Dave is amazing. Even after I moved to Georgia about two years ago, when I drive down to Orlando, Dave’s Auto Repair is still my mechanic of choice. In advance I would call and make reservations to have my car serviced. Dave adds me to his appointment calendar and once I drop my car off with a check list of repairs needed, he and his team completed everything in good timing. Even after I’m called to pick up the car, he always encourages me to give the car a test drive before taking off. He shows me all the repairs completed and also points out what may be in need of repair for the future. Before I know it, I’m driving back home feeling safe and secure that the job was well done. Today Dave services my vehicles and several others I referred on a continual basis. I continue and would recommend anyone to Dave.

Was visiting from Toronto and mid way through our road trip we had an issue with the alternator - the AAA guy recommended Daves place. Being from out of town we were thinking the dealer but they can be uber expensive... We went by Daves shop - they confirmed the issue and provided a price. I called my mechanic in Toronto and Daves analysis was right and his price was fair. We brought the car in, Dave made the repair all was good - they even went the extra mile and cleaned the motor. Dave will be my go to guy in Orlando.

Truly high performance results. I had several oil leaks in my 2003 LEXUS ES-300. AFTER BEING SCREWD BY A LOCAL AUTO SERVICE CENTER THAT HAD BEEN SERVICING MY 3 CARS FOR AT 4 OR 5 YESRS, I went to the newly opened Orlando Lexus auto dealership to see if I could get my leaks fixed. I stop going to Daves Auto Repair when I found out I was being charged for auto repair that was not repaired. I started to notice the mechanics had stop showing me the old parts that came off my vehicle like they usually do. When I asked about the parts that was taken off my vehicle I was told they had already disposed of the parts. I also notice when I got my bill statment none of the parts or the cost for labor were broken down separately. All the labor and parts were added together leaving me confused of what I actually paid for each of the parts and the individual cost for the labor. I wouldnt recommend Daves Auto Repair to anyone unless you are willing to loose money.

$1600 for some wheel bearings on my 2003 Ford expedition. My suggestion is you get another quote somewhere else I called my mechanic and he said its a $150 job plus parts

Dave is a very nice guy but he makes me wonder i take my car for a oil change and I let him know that my oil type is 520 grade and he said to me it doesnt matter what type or grade oil that goes into motto vehicle because the only reason for the oil is to lubricate the engine i was like oh really that cant be true the vehicle recommend 520 so how is that possible to put a higher or lower type oil in the vehicle thats wrong.
