ProMag Energy Group, Inc.You just lost a 17 year customer. You have installed two units for me in the last 16 years. I don’t know what happened to your company. Your customer service is non existent and now you are ripping me off of my 10 year warranty. You claim I didn’t submit my information to the manufacturer but your office told me it was handled by them and I didn’t need to do anything. The first 10 year warranty in 2004 had zero problems. You replaced my unit a second time in 2014, told me you submitted my paperwork like you did on my 2004 unit and now do not want to acknowledge the warranty agreement. Do the right thing and stop blaming people that dont work there anymore. Now you want to charge me $2600to repair a warranty issue or you can replace a 6 year old unit for $7200. Shame on you

I helped do a tear out and complete install for these guys with Dave Irwin of Irwin Mechanical (which is no longer in business). ProMag paid Dave, but I never received my pay. We did this job on Saturday August 7th at 1000 Marabon Ave off of Conway Rd in Orlando. Im still owed $300 cash. Would be nice if people and this company actually had integrity and worked honestly. I do not recommend this company at all. Shady work and a high number of verified complaints.

I cannot begin to fathom how unprofessional the representatives of this company are. After almost 2 weeks of my original A/C installments, this company show lack of competencies in their work in every category. The inspection failed on 4 separate occasions. When you spend so much money to get something done correctly, I expected at least the bare minimum of customer service. I was told that I would be charged for their lack of work after the 5th attempt by the County of Osceola for failure of wire codes, permits, and failure of finishing work prior to inspection. They gave me a window between (12PM-3PM) for a scheduled inspection on the (5th attempt). The inspector came at 10 AM. I will never do business with this company again seek others.

The technicians are wonderful but the company itself seems to be over charging their customers. A part that only costs $15 online is sold by ProMag to their customers for $200!! They also do not ensure you have the best set up, they are always in a rush and because of this the quality of their set ups are poor, costing the customers more money in future repairs. If they put more time and quality into their work, they could have a five star rating.

The worst nightmare. We bought an ac system about 3 months ago and which has been failing ever since. Every time contact customer service their responses are unprofessional and care little to help fix the problem. The fourth time the ac shuts down and we called they never came to fix the problem. Being in Florida summer and days without AC is a big NO.

We just had CJ come in and review our AC to inspect the health of it. He was so friendly, professional and easy to work with. He explained everything we needed to know for future repair and was super knowledgeable. We are thankful for his time and for going above and beyond with answering all of our questions. They gave me a signed, formal, written quote on their letterhead for the service after an on-site inspection. When I tried to schedule the service, the pricing instantly increased $100 and when I said I would pay COD (while still on the same phone call with them), the pricing increased again by $600, and with fewer items being included. Crazy bait and switch between the formal quote and what they tried to charge in the end. No thanks.

Company was called to come out to my mother-in-laws townhouse to clean a drain line on her A/C unit. Technician came out and flushed drain line, but the problem continued after technician left. When called back they said it would be $1400 to replace the drain line after she already paid them the $110 service fee. We called another company and they came out and cleared the drain line and problem is solved. Basically ProMag did not do the work they charge for and then tried to charge more for something that was not needed. Second company checked everything and said all was ok after drain line was cleaned properly. FYI, A/C unit is only two years old. WOULD DEFINATELY NOT RECOMMED THIS COMPANY!!!

Worst experience with this company, they installed a new AC unit that has never worked properly.Owner was absolutely rude when I asked them to address the problems with new ac system, they scheduled with me and never showed up twice.2 years later and I still have issues with it draining properly. Never again will I use this company.

Back in 12/2020 I had a contractor with the name of Gary come to my house from promag energy group. He told me to pay him up front and left to go get heat strip. He never returned. I called him, then he laughed and hung up on me. I contacted his manager, James Harris. James told me he would work with me to get this man prosecuted and give me my refund back. A few weeks later, I asked James Harris about the refund he told me I was getting back. Harris hung up the phone on me then blocked me. I lost $309.00 from putting trust in a contractor and company to perform their work. I still haven’t gotten a call back from company, as they are doing nothing in resolving issue and prosecuting Gary. I still hope to get a call from promag energy group company in regards to my full $309.00 refund.

My ac was not properly cooling so I called company they came out on Friday stated had a leak and coils needed cleaned my husband set a time for them to come back the following day due to would be without ac for 2 plus hours when they came back the following day to fix everything and $1100 later need to say it’s still 81 degrees in my house so being today is Sunday when i called into the emergency line I was able to find the man was no very concerned and no remorse and stated would have to wait til Monday morning and disconnected the call on me very in professional needless to say I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Todd was our technician for our AC maintenance. He was extremely nice and professional. He provided me with some great tips for my AC. He even took a quick minute before leaving to teach me a couple of chords on my guitar! Great guy and great service. Highly recommend them.

Terrible company, cant wait to get out of my contract with them. Just today, system doesnt start, tech came, put a new thermostat in (I already have an extra one from their last visit) saying its to check. And now I have to pay $190 for a downgrade $34 non programmable thermostat instead of my wireless ($180- 18 months old) or they can cancel and void warranty on the brand new AC unit they installed 18 months ago. Do yourself a favor, stay away. Oh, and being under contract, there was no service fee (at the time) now its a $55 on top of whatever needs to be fixed- $249 to replace a thermostat but he recommended changing the wires for $975

Luis and David were great. They repaired our heat kit and replaced our thermostat in a couple of hours. Luis was especially helpful and friendly and they even taped up some of the holes in the duct work, just to help us out. Our initial technician who performed the diagnostic, Jeff, was also great. They swept up before leaving too. Thanks, guys.

I would like to share my experience about Chris Bronson of Promag Energy Group. Chris was very friendly, personable and acknowledgeable to deal with. He took time to explain exactly what we would be getting, called in to set up the financing and set up the delivery and men that would be installing unit all in the same day. We couldnt be more pleased and happy to having worked with Chris. It was an excellent experience.

We woke up to our AC being out on a Saturday morning. Greg came out to diagnose the problem & then William came out with parts to make the repair. We were able to get the service done in a matter of hours which was much needed. Greg & William were both friendly & knowledgable. We were very pleased with the service. The person that took our information on the phone was extremely nice however we didn’t get his name.

They installed the wrong unit on my house, I don’t know anything about ac so I trust the pros, two years ago I had a broken coil and the only way for me to be able to afford the repair was to finance a whole new unit, the only way to survive working in a kitchen, driving a car without ac and all in the heat of Florida is to come home to a nicely cooled house, that’s not a problem unless they give you a 2.5 ton when you need a 3.5 (I had another company come out and confirm) I payed for something I didn’t get and all the while paying their fees to come tell me it’s my ducts (also not true) save yourself some stress. This company seemed so helpful at first, I feel dumb but here to spread the word

We are selling our home and need to get a professional electrician out to review our buyers inspection report! John Taggart came out asap, was very easy to communicate with and arrived right on time. He walked us through the report and in detail explained everything that was brought up in the report. Luckily the report was not accurate at all and he gave us peace of mind knowing that there were no problems of concern. He was very professional and honest. His knowledge of electric services were outstanding and you can walk away feeling confident that his 20+ years of experience is 100% accurate. We will now from this point on be using this company for any future business we may need.

My AC went out and Fred came out after I obtained a bid from other company who originally diagnosed i needed a new unit. The other company had pricing extremely high. I called Promag to come out to compare possible options. They were out the same day with several options that matched the other system but were 2-3k less in price. There was no pressure to use them and answered any questions. I did some research on Promag and with all AC companies they can be all over the place. I choose to go with them and they had the tech out the next day. The system that I was to have installed was not in stock so their team upgraded me to the next level Traine system at no additional cost. The install team was extremely professional and their work exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail and clean up was above and beyond. Extremely happy with the new system and will use Promag for all needs moving forward. Do not hesitate to use them for any replacement install.

ROUGH START but a SUCCESSFUL ENDING! Im not sure what happened to the level of customer since from the dispatch team since the last time using this company [2015] but it is far lacking the communication once recd. I went from having a minor leak, getting the entire line replace at a cost of several thousand dollars, only to have a MAJOR a/c problem. Worst of all, no follow-up from the company, and no after hours service on Friday.@Office Personnel - there will always be angry customers but its how you handle it that makes you shine as a star. For instance, instead of me calling you numerous times call me with an update on your technicians ETA. FYI - Theres apps that does it for you instantly.@Technicians - the 4 STARS is because of the technicians and Tara. Empathy goes along way when dealing with a frustrated customer. These guys [both teams, Tido and Robert / Juan and Raul] but their humps in correcting the problem with eagerness and a smile. Im very appreciative of them.@JD - your field techs are working hard at making your company look good. If would be nice if your office personnel upgrade their communication skills or tweak their effectiveness with being proactive. I GUARANTEE you will see more business with more positive reviews - ijs!

John and his team were a pleasure to work with. They installed ceiling fans where no light fixtures existed, some sconces, and a large ceiling on a vaulted ceiling. Their prices were reasonable. They cleaned up after themselves. John also checked in to make sure we were pleased. I will definitely use them again.

Everybody at Promag was fantastic to work with. The technician got there earlier than I expected (they called to make sure that was ok first) and he was very detail oriented, making sure my unit was running perfectly. He gave me a few tips to keep my unit in tip top shape. The ladies in the office were so sweet and very quick to respond. Very fairly priced. I will never use any other company for my air and heating needs.

Yet almost 900 stars reviews on Google !!!!!You do the math. And you can count you know those guys are buying fake reviews on google as you can legally buy them.Beware!!!

I highly recommend getting your Air conditioning and Heating needs met through Promag Energy Group. In less than 24 hours we went from an old system that was leaking through our wall to two new and neatly installed Trane units with new outdoor fans for a fair price. As we all know these systems don’t come cheap but they made it well worth it. The team was great and efficient. They even finished ahead of schedule and did their best to tidy up before leaving which I greatly appreciated. There was minimal damage to the door frame for the upstairs unit and they immediately called in Jimmy whom was amazing at repairing, educating and finalizing finishing touches along with installing our UV system for each unit to reduce dust. I am more than satisfied as a customer and grateful to have found them.

A/C went out so I called ProMag. They sent out a technician who told me my thermostat was bad & needed to be replaced. Turned out this was false info. The technician from Promag energy group told me the reason my A/C went out was because my thermostat had broken. He wanted to replace it with his companys $250+ thermostat. I told him Id just run down to Lowes and get the same model and pop off the thermostat and replace it with the new one. Since it was the exact same model, I didnt have to touch the wiring. However, when this didnt fix the issue the company told me that since I touched the wiring and did it myself that they would charge me another $105 service call plus the $250+ of installing their own thermostat since they dont work with other thermostats except their own. I called up American Air & Heat and their technician came out and used my old (supposedly broken) thermostat and fixed the issue. It wasnt broken after all it just had somehow gotten reset (most likely b/c of a power outage) to a setting that wasnt correct for the heat pump I had. He diagnosed the issue, set it to the right setting and everything has been working perfectly since! I called to see if they wanted to do the right thing and refund my money since the information they gave me was false. Fred, the manager, said he had to talk to the owner and then he gave me a call back the next day and said they could not refund the money. He said he doesnt know what happened after the technician left even though I have proof that what he told me (that the thermostat was bad) was flat out not true. In my view this is a terrible company with the bottom line to make money not to help their customers or do the right thing.

Dont leave a positive review for a discount! Dont buy a service plan with them because they will still charge you for a service call if they have to come out. The owner said it was my fault using a Nest thermostat because they want to sell a Honeywell. Call another company that cares. These people will call you every month to come out to try to sell another service.

In July of 2019 I had a 5 ton unit installed by Pro MagIn Dec of 2020 I called them complaining of a foul odorI was blown off telling me it’s probably nothingand it would be $110 for a service call to come outI thought it should’ve been complimentarySo I refusedIn February of 2021 I had a problem with systemIn which the fan continued to run even when the system was offSo I had them come out agreeing to the $110 chargeJames was the technicianOnce he started to diagnose the system he immediately noticed the heating element was on during the cooling modeHe realized the system was incorrectly wired causing the heating element to stay on which caused the fan to malfunctionHe notified his company and spoke with his supervisor named Jeff and told him of wiring problem and what needed to be doneJames rewired the unit which corrected the problemWhile he was correcting the issue he was explaining to what exactly what was wrongHe also told me the odor was from the heating element being on during the cooling cycleHe also told me that my energy bill will be lowerSo I called pro mag to speak with Jeff for a refund of the service chargeJeff informed me that James is a new employee very inexperienced and misspoke when he told me those thingsJeff told me a had a totally different problem and that’s why the $110 will not be refundedI personally saw James rewire my system as he explained the problemI heard the telephone conversation between James and Jeff where James told Jeff the system was originally wired incorrectlyI can’t believe Jeff would lie to me and also trash an excellent employee just to avoid giving me a refundI am very unhappy with this companyAnd want my money back

Be careful. Save yourself frustration of this overcharging company who didnt wire my system right and wanted to blame my Nest thermostat so they could sell me a Honeywell thermostat for 5x more that still would not work right when they didnt fix the wiring. Poor customer service, charged me to replace coils when I have 10 year parts and labor. Very shady service reps trying to up sell everything. After 1 year had to replace coils again due to poor install, Del air replaced free of charge as stated in my 10 year parts and Labor. Customers beware not trustworthy.

Greg came out to my house while I was out of town and my wife was there without ac.He repaired the AC and got it up and running but said we were still low on freon and wanted to charge $150 a pound. He also pushed hard for the sale of a new unit at a really high price.Long story short Greg way over charged me for the parts and service to get the AC running, lied to me about the freon being low, confirmed by a second ac company I called for a quote on a new unit and didnt even take the time to fully install the parts I paid triple the price for, see picture attached, part still in the box it comes in and just sitting in the AC unit not attached

Five days into it (diagnosed Saturday, today is Wednesday), Promag messed up the repair of our AC: Called yesterday and made an appointment for today 9 am - 12 pm to replace the blower motor. Called them just before noon and was told the technician will arrive between 12 and 2 pm. Called them again just before 3 pm. Supposedly the technician was running late, but they would give me a call once on the way. Just before 4 pm, the door bell rings: What a surprise, Bill, another technician, finally arrived! He is getting busy checking the AC. Eventually he tells me the blower motor is bad. I told him that Fred, the technician who diagnosed the AC Saturday already, had found the same thing. When I asked Bill when he would replace the blower motor, he said he didnt know anything about that, did not have the replacement, and was only here to diagnose the problem - EXCUSE ME ?!?!?! After hours (4 pm !!!) service said they will leave a note for the office to call me first thing in the morning.Day 6, Thursday. No call from the office, so I call them again. They say they are aware of the issue and will call to confirm an appointment. When I ask to talk to a manager, I am being told that hes on the phone and will call back. So when they call, I expect the manager - but not so, its John telling me the appointment is between 9 am - 12 pm just like yesterday; they call me when someone is on the way. When I ask how likely it is going to happen, he tells me he has no time to discuss this at length and rushes to hang up.After an hour I call the OEM, Ecoer, to make arrangements to pick up the replacement motor myself. They are very helpful. While still on the phone, suddenly the door bell rings. Now its Leon from Promag. This time I know to ask him if he brought the replacement motor - INDEED !!! Leon is very professional and gets the job done within the hour. He saved the day, but not the overall performance of Promag.The technicians are friendly and seem to know what they are doing. Promag back office/dispatch is a catastrophe. Just know what you are getting yourself into.

I called and arranged for the 24 point maintenance on My personal AC Unit and the rental unit for my grandson. ProMag and their 24 point maintenance system was here for a total of 30 minutes for both units, that are located side by side? They did not do 20 of the maintenance points on either unit, and charged me $120.00. The Service Tech then proceeded to tell me that I had mold buildup on my unit that could make us sick and that I needed a new system for a $5,700 quote. He never drained the line, checked any amps or anything else. As I was shocked with his quote, I called another Company to come out and check my system for a quote. They advised I did not have a mold issue, that they would send someone out to do a proper maintenance and that this AC would last at least until the winter with proper maintenance. They were appalled that I had just had a service done 3 days prior and walked me through what had NOT been done. I then got a quote from them for almost half and I am going to get exactly what I have now completely new, inside and out?? I have tried to call the Office Manager and left messages 3 times for her to return my call. If the managers are inefficient and cannot discuss a problem with a customer, it is no wonder that the rest of the staff had the same I could care less attitude. Do not use this Company! They are hardly Pros!

My experience with this company was fantastic. I called them last night around 5pm and they were at my door by 830 this morning. The first crew that came assessed my issue and was great in explaining my options. My unit was 18 years old and leaking coolant with a bad motor on the compressor. They said that they could fix those issues, but it would be pretty costly and with such an old system, didnt make much sense. We decided it was best to just replace my unit. The installation crew was here within an hour after the first crew. I was told the installation would probably take around 6 hours. These pros had is cooling down in about 4 hours, much to my relief. The system is much more quiet and energy efficient than my old one and considering all the work that was done, I feel that I paid a very fair price. The warranty on the unit and labor are very comforting as well. I never want to be without a/c in Florida again, but if I am, Ill be calling Promag.

I called Promag around 6:45pm to schedule an AC tech. The call taker advised me that they had an available tech for the evening, took all my info, and told me that they would call me back in five minutes because there were two calls in front of me and they wanted to get an ETA from the tech.25 minutes later, I called Promag back regarding the ETA as they had not called me. I was told that there was one call in front of me now and that the call-taker was going to reach out to the tech again and call me back immediately.I waited an hour before I called back. The same call-taker that I had spoken to both times previously answered. I was then informed that there were two calls in front of me and that the tech had my information and would for sure be by in the evening.At 11pm, no one had called or arrived. I attempted to call once more but no one is answering the line anymore. I am unsure if the breakdown occurred with the call-taker or with the tech on duty, but I am pretty disappointed with the customer service. I understand that a 24 hr AC company can be busy in these temperatures and I don’t fault them for having people in front of my call. It would have been nice though if the communication was better so I could have called a different company. It is now 1am and no one has called me back or come to my address.I would suggest using a different after hours provider.

Timely appearance, but that is about all. Completed some checks on units while I watched, but I am no inspector. NO CHECK OFF list, NO Work order, No invoice....repeated calls with no response. Perhaps not a scam, but I will NOT be using them again and CANNOT recommend them.....Greg was technician.

You installed a new air conditioner for us 7 months ago, the coil leaked and you replaced it although we had to wait 3 nights and 4 days to get it fixed after I complained. You charged us $875?to replace the Trane Coil. I think $875 is outrageous. There are 5,000 residences here in Solivita and growing daily. I have checked the residents here about their experiences and not one has been charged more than $650 to replace a coil. I need to know if you offer a labor contract for the future and what it will cost for 10 years and please confirm what my guarantee is with this new air conditioner

This is the worst technician ever. He was at my home telling me not to explain what has been the issue with my ac and wanted to argue with me as if I don’t know what was and have been a huge issue in my home. His demeanor was extremely difficult his tone Abrasive and down right rude. Then tried to flip it as if I was hard to speak to intact he was a very close minded individual I would not recommend them to anyone even the receptionist was rude. Poor service and unprofessional the staff I encountered at 8:30 this morning.

Best electricians! Our breaker was so old and needed to get replaced and Promag did the entire thing very well. It was pricey but worth it in the end. More importantly, Ive had my kitchen and hallway lights continuously burning through bulbs and John came out and put in new recessed lighting... PERFECT. The set was faulty but John came out several times to replace and check up on them, no charge. GREAT customer service and John is so easily accessible with text.

The worst service ever ! Promag customer service is by far the worst. All the staff beginning from the office to the installers are only concern about is taking your MONEY. Tech was so quick to sell you a unit and put you into finance ! So they can just collect the MONEY. If your elderly they take advantage. Installers came same day but did not install the unit correctly . Air handler was continuously running and outside unit did not even work which we did not notice until the weather dropped. When calling the office all you can hear is people yelling and people interfering with the call like If someone is listening ! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Then ask to speak to a manager and was put on hold for about 10 minutes . Manager finally picks up call and is name is JD . Seems nice but all he wants to do is get you off the phone . WILL NOT LET YOU EXPLAIN A THING ! JD said he will have someone back at my home to fix the issue and post permit at the same time so an inspector can come out and inspect the unit . Rudely hanged up the phone. Tech showed up at the home fix the issue and post permit . Then called back to the office to give the permit department my availability. Which again the worst service because the permit department NEVER SCHEDULE THE INSPECTOR TO COME OUT after me and my wife gave our availability to pricilla many times . Every time we called she was either on the phone or off for the day. This lasted about a week after trying to get in touch with the department and no one else could help . I refused to speak to the manager which is JD . Every since my unit was installed I have received the worst service. PROMAG JUST WANTS YOUR MONEY AND AFTER THEY RECEIVE THE MONEY . They tell you lies after lies after lies . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE ! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER . Also THEY WILL NOT COME OUT WHEN SCHEDULED!!

I have had these guys come out for a variety of Air conditioner related repairs. As far as maintaining my unit, or any repairs they do, the work seems to be just fine. And they are courteous gents. Their pricing however is way above the norm. I have been quoted as much as half the cost of their repairs on two visits. The tech they send to my place is a very nice and knowledgeable guy, but at twice the cost of the competition I had to go elsewhere for future work.

They sounds very good when selling the product. However, after that, they have NO RESPECT FOR YOUR TIME. Even that you are paying for the service, they make you feel like they are doing you a favor. Appointment time for them dont exist!Be ready to schedule your life around their time!
