Our tech arrived exactly on time for our scheduled visit and, after a quick discussion on what was going on, he got to work. He had a good idea where to start and he was spot on, a dead fan capacitor. He quoted a repair price and fixed it. He also pointed out a couple “should fix” items that will be repaired in the near future.Marvin was fantastic! He was very professional, efficient, and thorough. Best of all, he listened to us. This company did everything correctly from the start. We will use and recommend them for anything that they can perform. I had a bad experience with another AC company a few weeks prior to calling them, and was quite cautious. The diploma on the wall says that I am an engineer, but I still received an excellent education from John Walker as he explained WHY I should select one unit over another. No high pressure sales at all, just answers to the questions that I asked, and education about the questions I was not smart enough to ask myself. Their pricing was similar to other vendors. But more important, they had all the equipment in stock and could install in a few days as soon as a crew was available.Regarding the installation, Claudio was a perfect gentleman and a craftsman as well. He and his crew arrived on time, cleaned up all debris, and their workmanship was could not be better. The house was cooling down on the same day that they started! The equipment operated as John Walker described. When I asked about better humidity control, John Walker said that my installation should be able to provide what I wanted without any additional equipment, and after an adjustment to the settings, it did exactly as he said it would. No attempt to sell me equipment that I was willing to buy, but did not need.I also should mention Madelyn in the office. She recognized my desire to have someone with technical background explain their equipment to me. She was willing to work with my limited availability and still was able to schedule John Walker as the best match for my questions.After a bad experience with another vendor, I could not be happier with Pro-Tech. The reason that they have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau is obvious to me. I suggest that you check the rating of any AC vendor that you consider using, as that alone would have prevented the mistake that I made before calling Pro-Tech.

My AC stopped working and I’ve used Protec before and the service was great. I called and made my appointment. Stewart came on time and was extremely kind and professional. He was able to tell me what the issue was right away. He suggested the maintenance plan which I decided to get. Very good deal. I’ll keep using protec for all my AC/Plumbing needs.

They were on time and did not make me wait until the end of the 3 hour time frame window. Jonathan was great at answering all my questions. They also followed covid 19 protocols during their entire visit never removing their mask. They were even considerate enough to put on shoe covers to keep my floors clean.

I was very happy with the tech Richard, he knew exactly how to work on a water to air ac system. However I asked several questions. I did not expect him to know the answers he did call his office and ask and I could not get any answers at the time. It’s we’ll call you back.

Pro Tech did work for my elderly grandparents. Routine summer tune up and charged them $3,774. When I called to get explanation and a line by line breakdown of the charges they could not provide it to me. I did some research on the parts listed on the invoice and it amounted to $300 in parts at the most, so $3400 in labor charges. They did tell me it was 5 hours of labor with 2 technicians - why there needed to be 2 techs I do not know. According to this they charged $340/hour for each tech. Ridiculous. There is nothing scummier than companies who take advantage of the elderly. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY.

Wonderful service. Very much on top of things. Rikky Mercado was nice and professional. Him and his partner to the job were polite, explained everything In details, showed up on time and made sure to clean after. Also, took their time to prep the room to minimize spread of dirt. They also will provide the other professionals in order to leave the Repear not just fixed but also looking good. For example- they had to break wall to get to the pipes, so they provided the dry wall service and it all included in the price. I would use them again any time. Highly recommend.

Zac is a terrific Tech. Original diagnosis was a leak in coolant. He came and double checked 1st tech diagnosis. It was incorrect. Real problem was the blower motor. It was done. He went back to office, got the part and put it in during a pretty bad thunderstorm. Kudos to him!

First time using Pro-Tech and couldn’t be happier. Dylan came out on time and quickly accommodated my situation. Price was a little higher but service was quick, friendly, and professional! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Called this morning because I was trying to replace my shower handle from the old broken one and couldn’t get the cartridge out as it was stuck. Ricky and ProTech were out within a few hours and replaced the hand and got the cartridge out. It was a faulty cartridge so I am glad I called before I did more damage than was already present. ProTech and Ricky did everything they said they would and did it professionally. Will definitely use them again in the future.

I received a call & they were able to get him there earlier. I was so thankful. Tech cleaned up behind himself & explained what he replaced on the faucets & the installation on the dishwasher connections in simple laymen terms so I could tell husband when he asked questions. Very satisfied!

The great service we received from the installer, Omar, prompted us to write this review. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and worked til nearly 11p (after starting at 8a) to finish installing our new AC. He made sure the job was done right and didn’t cut corners, even after his assistants left in the afternoon. He is true asset to the Pro Tech company.

Wow, class act service!!!! Ricky came out asap when my elderly neighbor had a plumbing issue due to a roof shingle mishap which inturned turned a simple roofing job into a kiddie pool fiasco. In their outdoor laundry area. I happened to come check on them when this issue had just occurred. I called the company to report what happened and was forwarded this companies information. They showed up in less then 30 minutes. The water had been shut off for the time being until the hole was repaired. Ricky was swift and understanding with my neighbor and most importantly patient! The roofing company had to pay for the fix so $322 does not sound so bad when you just paid them $12,000 to repair the roof shingles. Thanks again Ricky and Pro tech !

We’ve used protech for comfort club maintenance since the install of our system 10 years ago. Recently we needed a technician to come check the system because the house wasn’t cooling down quite like it should’ve. They came out same day and didn’t charge an astronomical amount for last minute weekend service! Very happy. Rey was our technician and he was very knowledgeable and professional. Had a new AC install done a few years ago. Professional installation, good unit (Trane). Good after sale service.

I had a water heater that was leaking from the bottom, so it needed to be replaced. Luckily for me, it was still under warranty. Pro-Tech took care of coordinating with the original manufacturer to obtain a new water heater and only charged me the labor fee for install. Everyone I dealt with was extremely helpful. Both Ana and Cheryl in the office, and Kingsley Brown for the install. It was an all-around pleasant and professional experience.

Gerri was incredibly professional and skilled. The staff at the office worked with us to get us scheduled quickly. Helped us find financing, and made us feel like we were a priority. Everyone in this company is amazing. We are in their AC comfort club, and will only use them for not only our AC needs but all of our plumbing. I cannot say enough great things about Gerri and this company!

Called in around 4PM after getting home from work and had a technician arrive on site, same day, within a short amount of time! Our technician was extremely competent and professional, taking the time to thoroughly troubleshoot our system. He then explained issues which were discovered, providing detail on how those issues affected our system and how they could be resolved. Our technician went above and beyond in answering questions, providing solutions and taking time to perform the work which needed to be done. Ultimately, we joined the comfort club for future maintenance, and are very pleased with the level of service and professionalism on the part of our technician! Highly recommend!!

Pro Tech services the air conditioning where I work, and I’ve had them come to service the a/c in my personal condo as well. Now that my husband and I just bought our first house, we had them come spruce up the a/c. They are always professional, timely, and thorough (taking pictures of all they see to explain it). Hector who came out today was great. I’ll be looking into quotes for plumbing repairs with Pro Tech soon, too.

Christopher arrived on time to access our swimming pool gas heater. Connected his equipment and was able to pin point the problem quickly.

I had a different AC company Id previously work with come out to repair my heater and they said it needed to be fully replaced at a cost of 4.6k. I got a 2nd opinion from Pro-Tech and they were able to correctly diagnose and fix the issue for less than a tenth of what the other company wanted to charge. Pro-Tech is very fair in pricing and I intend to continue to work with them in the future.

Hector showed up on time and provided friendly and quick service. We love our AC that they installed back in March-We are currently saving OVER $200 per month on our electrical bill.... Kerry Polingo was so thorough in his inspection of our A/C unit. He spent over two hours investigating and writing down every little detail and crawling through the attic to find out why only half of our house was being cooled while the rest was warmer and humid. He shared very helpful knowledge and education with us and believes he may have figured out the problem. He shared his card so we could follow up if needed. We were very impressed with his quality work and would recommend this company to others looking for A/C work.

I have been using Pro-Tech Air Conditioning for just over a year now. I can honestly say that their professionalism is evident. They care about their clients. They perform our regular a/c maintenance checks (helping our units running at prime performance). I have also used them for a plumbing issue (leak) we had. They were as good with their plumbing service as they are with their a/c service. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Patiently answered all my questions and went above and beyond to look for leaks because i asked, and got home office to quote the cost of replacing the evaporator coils on my unit. Great job.

I called Pro-Tech because I had a leak on my unit. When I called I actually got a live person to schedule and appointment for a tech to come out. I was called to be notified when the tech was on the way. Zack was very professional, knowledgeable and respectful. My leak is fixed and unit is back to normal. Had my AC go out on a Friday evening (Labor day weekend). Called after 5 PM and was able to schedule service for Sunday morning (there werent any openings on Saturday). They called ahead to let me know they were on their way. They fixed the problem quickly. Very easy to do business with them. Id recommend them and I used them last year for a similar issue.

Nicholas was great. He has performed routine maintenance on our HVAC system multiple times. On this most recent visit he identified that a component of our new air handler (installed in April) had been installed incorrectly. Rather than ignore that issue and possibly let the unit fail early in its life, he reported the issue to Pro-Tech management and they are going to come out and remove the entire air handler and reinstall everything correctly. In my experience, Pro-Tech is an honest and reputable company and Nicholas proved that on this most recent visit. Thank you Nicholas for being a quality employee and service provider!

Pro-Tech installed my AC a few years ago. They service the unit 2x a year. They are always VERY thorough during the inspection. They are also very courteous during the inspection. We will continue to use Pro-Tech and refer them business.

My sink had been draining slowly with the dishwasher getting backed up. After a few days of clogging I decided to call ProTech. I called for service on a Saturday 9am and was told a technician would arrive between 2-5pm. The technician Gerrid arrived by 1:30PM. He was courteous and professional. He explained the process and in less than 15min resolved the issue. Highly recommend. Pricing was fair especially since they quickly responded to my call at such short notice.

Between My Dad and Myself we have used Protech AC and Plumbing several times. We really like them and they do a great job for a fair price. You can trust them. My Tech today was Hunter Boyle and he was great.

The worst service experience Ive ever had in Central Florida. The initial repair wasnt effective. I was promised an emergency response so my octogenarian mother wouldnt be without AC overnight. That technician never showed up. Dispatch kept promising an AC tech was coming but that never happened. A plumber arrived but couldnt make the repair. To his credit, he stayed with us until midnight because he felt bad for mom.A supervisor & a repairman appeared the next day & resolved the problem but it was a day too late.The owner has reached out but I cant engage as I fear my anger & frustration from that night would cause me to be rude.This happened a couple of years ago but each time I hear their advertisements; I am angered.

Had my shower handle strip while water was running and wouldnt turn off. They came out the same day and fixed it in under an hour. Tech was very nice and knowledgeable.

Pro-Tech quoted me a $1000 repair fee for a bad control board and transformer. Then they said that they couldnt guarantee that it would get the AC working again due to its age. They suggested a complete new unit, so I got a quote for that as well ranging from $7 to $10k. I decided to get a 2nd opinion on the repair and found out it was just a blown fuse and a bad breaker, problem solved, AC is running again for under $300. Somehow, Pro-Tech managed to look past the blown fuse (the simple and obvious option) and told me that the control board was bad (it wasnt), and they tried to get a sale for a new unit off of it. Shady AF. Be careful with these guys.

Not only was Pro-Tech remarkably responsive this morning when we called upon them with an emergency need (2 main supply line to a residential building at our HOA had broken), but precisely as they promised on arrival - actually 15 minutes earlier! The technician plumber, Christopher Ashcraft, was a pro from the word go, got it done even in what was intermittent pouring rain and remained calm, confident and reassuring throughout the process.
