Would definitely recommend North Pole Air. They saved our older unit from having to be completely replaced. You could tell by the way that they worked they were not rushing and they were thinking through each step. This gave me confidence that they were doing the right thing and not cutting corners. I was thoroughly impressed with the genuine passion for working with AC systems. Will be following up with them for any future maintenance or about a replacement system (hopefully not for a couple of more years!)

Typically, I dont write reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one because of the level of service that I received. Lisandro is one of the most kind-hearted and genuine AC service owners that I have ever met. From our initial conversation, he was warm and very personable. I can tell he enjoys what he does and he cares about his clients and their comfort. He was knowledgeable and provided excellent service. He explained the issue with the AC unit and guaranteed that he was able to fix it, which he did in a short amount of time. He provided fast and effective service, and I would highly recommend him.

We have been having issues with our unit and others have come to correct but their work did not last long. My AC unit was leaking water tremendously due to a clogged drain, my worst mistake I called a competitor and they told me I needed a new system all together shut my system down including breakers and simply scared me to death. My experience with North Pole began in 2014! The company that I had been using since 2006 had been doing extra repairs each time I had my scheduled maintenance. That changed in 2014 when I was told that I would have to replace the AC - and also the heating system. That prompted me to get a second opinion and led me to Lisandro at North Pole. He repaired the unit (described below) and I also contracted to have North Pole maintain my sisters a mobile home AC unit until it was sold in 2017.* Aug 2021After a month+ away I came home to AC unit that was not working - 99 degrees in the house. Called Lisandro (in early evening) and he came after hours the next day - a day before he promised! I was sure that I was in for a new unit. Lisandro repaired it once again. Fixed a leak and - its working great! (An aside, my new neighbor had the same unit that I have and about the same age as mine. She told me today that my old company replaced their unit last week- big bucks.)I ​could write a book about all that North Pole has done for me since then - but it would be long so Ill just give you a bulleted list - and maybe you can get an idea about how grateful I am for Lisandro. Long story short, Lissandro won us over with his candid assessment of our problem -- a very kind and honest AC repairman who saved us from replacing our entire AC!We have been replacing our freon with increasing frequency over the past few years. Other AC repair guys had tried to find a presumed coil leak, but no luck. It finally reached the point where we decided something had to be done; as our system is 9 years old, replacing it seemed like it might make the most sense.We got quotes from 3 larger companies. None of them impressed us (not friendly, not competitive, or negative reviews). After a few weeks of debating, we lined up three more quotes. North Pole was the final one we tried -- not from any personal recommendations, but because of the google reviews. ALL the companies have good reviews, but almost none have no bad reviews. The lack of bad reviews made me call North Pole.Lissandro came out to give us a quote for a new AC system, but instead convinced my husband to let him look at the system (for free). He said he almost guaranteed a freon leak from the coils, and convinced us to let him replace the coils instead, to give us a few more years with the current system. He was intent on rescuing our system. He even offered to top up the freon (up to a certain threshhold).He did the work promptly and finished fast. He even cleaned our outside equipment at no charge. And hes a fun guy to talk to! You can really see that he is passionate about his job.In short, North Pole and Lissandro are winners in my book. Our A/C stopped cooling several days ago and a different company identified the air handler coil as the source of the refrigerant leak. We shopped around and got quotes for brand new A/C units and repairs and decided North Pole A/C was the right choice for us. Lisandro convinced us that even though our unit was a little old, it was best to make the repair instead of replacing a top of the line older unit with an average newer unit. We are very satisfied with our decision to repair instead of replace and are very thankful for Lisandro convincing us to keep our A/C.Lisandro is very responsive and stayed in communication with us through the process. He predicted he could get the part and perform the installation the next day and he was right. He took his time on the job, replaced the leaky coil, identified and repaired another leak that the other company missed and did a great job servicing my air conditioner and cleaning up afterward. Our AC went out just as it started to get really hot. I am so happy that we called Lisandro with North Pole Air Conditioning & Heating Services. Lissandro arrived on time at my home and methodically began his diagnosis, explaining in detail what is being done. Turns out, I had a simple incorrect wiring that caused constant heating and a huge bill this last month. We had our old AC unit replaced in 2017 by North Pole Air. They gave us the best service and were very affordable. Expert professional installation. Last week we switched on the air after it had not been in use for a few weeks. It would not cool. We called Lisandro who informed us that he had a full schedule for the day, however he would be out first thing in the morning. Imagine our surprise when about 4pm we get a text that he could be there in 45 minutes to see what he could do. He was very concerned that we would be comfortable in our home, as I have some health concerns. He diagnosed our AC unit and fixed the problem and arranged for a warranty part replacement. This is an added bonus that few other companies would offer. He returned the following Tuesday to service our system and provide a thorough cleaning of both the inside and outside components. Full replacement of 31 year old system (wish they still made them last this long!)When I called, I spoke to the owner, Lisandro, who sounded not only knowledgeable, but also seemed like he loves his job and running his company. I setup a day for him to come look at my old system and get an estimate. He arrived on time and he talked about what he recommended needed to be done, answered my questions and was accommodating of my requests.He recommended a Two stage Bryant 16 SEER 4 ton unit with a variable speed air handler (Models 226ANA048000, and FV4CNF005L00) and a super fancy touchscreen WiFi Thermostat. He also recommended that the air unit gets as much air flowing as possible since it helps tremendously with efficiency, so he said hell change the current closet door where the air handler lives in, to a Louvre style door which has slats/grills to let air go through. He also was going to add a return grill which goes into to the adjacent rooms wall, which at first I wasnt sure of, but it wouldnt be visible since the rooms door would be blocking it from view.Anyways, he emails the estimate and also several brochures of the system he will be installing, plus all the tax forms and rebates that I was eligible for. I agreed to the contract and I scheduled with him a date to start.On the first day of installation, Lisandro and one of his employees showed up to do the work for the outside and another one came later to do the inside work. They were able to remove the old inside and outside units and also setup the new outside unit on a new cement slab after digging and replacing the old lines and pipes. The inside units closet was mostly preped and the new return was cut out, but it all still needed to be finished the next day and the air handler installed. The new closet door was also installed today. Luckily it wasnt unbearably hot that night, so not having AC wasnt as bad.On the second day, they finished all the closet prep and installed the air handler and everything got connected and working. They did apparently get the wrong thermostat though (it was very similar), so a new one would be installed the next day. Also unfortunately, they found that the current electric wire that feeds the outside unit was rated for 40amps but the new unit needs 50amps, so now I needed to have an electrician run new wiring because it could be a hazard. I wasnt too happy about this, but I understand issues can come up. Lisandro told me we wouldnt be able pass inspection until the wiring gets done, so I scheduled an electrician to come by ASAP which was a couple of days later. On the meantime, I was already enjoying a new AC!On the third day, the new thermostat was installed, but during the next two days I noticed the humidity was showing as very high and the air didnt feel as comfortable. I spoke to Lisandro and he sent out his employee to take a look again. The issue was fixed and now the AC was REALLY NICE AND COLD!So now I just waited for the electrician to come by on the scheduled date (2 days later). Lisandros sent his employee Luis to also meet with us to help answer and explain to the electrician what was needed. The work was done in a couple of hours and now all that was needed was to finally schedule our final inspection with the city which was set for a couple of days later and it passed easily since everyone did a great job.I felt like North Pole bent over backwards to make sure everything turned out well. There was communication throughout all the stages of the installation. Even though there were two issues that came up, I still feel like these guys deserve five stars for the quality of the work, the customer service and communication they provide. Once everything was done, Lisandro provided 2 year supply of filters and a company shirt for my wife and I. In conclusion, if you want a reliable, hard working, non scammy company, that will treat you right, then hire these guys!

I have used north pole since 2015 on my previous home for maintenance and Repairs and now on this new one Unfortunately my A/C thermal expansion valve stopped working (Luckily it was still under warranty). I went ahead and called Lisandro and very quickly he found the problem and advised that the part needed to be order. We schedule the repair for the following day and after 2:30 hours of him working hard my A/C is working like a champ. I definitely Recommend Lisandro the quality of his work speaks for itself.

We are so glad we went with Lisandro to fix our problem. While some other companies were telling us we needed a whole new system, turns out all we needed were the leaking and corroded coils replaced. Lisandro looked it over and said there was no need to destroy the good work another installer did and was shocked that we were told we needed a new carrier unit and handler. He saved us thousands of dollars, was so respectful of our property, laid out drop cloths so as to not track in dirt, and cleaned up after he finished. When the air conditioning unit at a commercial building that I rent out stopped working, I met up with several air conditioning companies to evaluate the problem. I ended up choosing North Pole Air conditioning because they were very competent, friendly and they explained in detail what needed to be done. Their price quote was fair and the job description was very detailed. Changing the air conditioning unit required getting permits from the city for the crane to lift and replace the old unit. Lisandro from North Pole got all the paperwork done. The company did a great job replacing the unit and getting it running again. Lisandro cleaned our ac unit today, which had not been cleaned for awhile, and we were impressed with how thorough he was! He spent about 5 hours cleaning the whole system, explaining the process to us and patiently answering all of our questions and giving us some good advice on how to keep it better maintained. This company was referred to us by our neighbor who couldnt say enough about the owner and workers. If you are looking for honesty, knowledge, dependability and down right great customer service, this is the air conditioning company for you. We called on a Friday afternoon because our A/C was stuck on 80, they called back, rearranged their schedule, showed up at 6:30pm and got the system to work temporarily for the weekend so we could be comfortable until they could get the part on Monday. As you know if you live in Florida your A/C is necessary for comfort even in October. They went above and beyond our expectations and pricing was very fair. We now fully understand why our neighbor highly recommended North Pole Air Conditioning and want to also highly recommend them too.

I hardly ever give any google reviews but this one was a must. A couple of months ago i had an issue with my AC. I contacted and instead of him scheduling me a visit which i would have been charged, he walked me through some simple trouble shooting which took care of the problem. I told myself this is the guy i want for any issues or services to my AC. Fast forward this past week, AC would not turned, a visit was mandatory. When i called he was booked but found a way to squeeze me in which i was so grateful especially with this heat. He arrived earlier than expected which was great, fixed my problem, educated me on my AC, while presenting excellent customer service. Having air conditioning is so important in Florida that I hope this review will help others in choosing a decent and trustworthy AC repair and maintenance technician.I found North Pole Air Conditioning Service after having a bad experience with American Home Shield (AHS).I have a 2-year new Carrier AC unit which suddenly stopped cooling. I first called AHS because I had been a member for 2 years, which charged me $100 upfront for the service call. The AHS technician came and charged me another $320 for adding freon to the system. But about 3 months later, the AC stopped cooling again. So, I called AHS again, which sent another technician who advised that there might be a leak somewhere in the system, but AHS does not cover repairing the leak and told me to call someone else. Realizing AHS could not solve the problem I immediately cancelled my membership.After searching on Google, I narrowed down several potentially good AC repairing companies. But when I called these companies they all had a you need me more than I need you attitude and told me I had to pay between $75-$100 in order for them to come out to look at my AC.When I called North Pole AC Services, Mr. North Pole seemed genuinely caring about my problem. He patiently listened to my description and explained to me what he thought the problem might be, and offered to come to look at my AC system without any upfront charge. When I saw his van I could tell he is a professional, because unlike the small car the AHS technician drives which only carries the freon tank, Mr. North Poles utility van is fully equipped to handle any AC problems: include soldering tools, different sizes of ladders, and even shovels.To make a long story short, Mr. North Pole solved my AC problem by using the pressure test to identify a leak on the copper fuse line which connects the outside unit to the indoor unit. Since the original line goes underneath my house, it cannot be repaired. So, he had to build a new copper line by going through my attic. During the whole process, I was able to communicate with him freely and observed that he was doing his job diligently and skillfully in a hot day.Mr. North Pole did a high quality job on repairing my AC. I especially appreciate that after the repair, he followed up by monitoring the thermostats temperature for another day to make sure the AC is working properly. And he assured me that his work is guaranteed for 1 year.I wholeheartedly recommend North Pole AC Services for anyone that has an AC problem.

I would like to give a shout out to this company . I have had issues with my 5 year old Lennox unit in my new home since we moved in. We had to replace the coil in the unit twice before (3 times in 5 years !) and the manufacture basically provided the same sub standard copper coil that was involved in a nationwide class action lawsuit for being faulty the first 2 times at a cost of almost $1500 out of pocket that I have never been reimbursed for . After getting aggressive with the manufacture and threatening to sue them outside the Class action they replaced my coil with a new aluminum coil. North Pole was instrumental in working with the regional manager to get my coil and get it paid for 100%- the quality of the work he did in my house was top shelf and he is very detailed down to wrapping the PVC pipes with insulation like they should have been when they were installed. I would give North Pole AC the highest recommendation for attention to detail and customer service that goes above and beyond. Well done North Pole AC!

So we bought our first home in June and just a couple of days ago our AC stopped working. A lot of our equipment had North Pole stickers on them so we decided to give them a shot. However, I really was amazed at how amazing the service actually was. Lisandro was was very professional and extremely personable. My air conditioner is 20 years old and has been very reliable over the years. Recently I noticed it wasnt cooling properly and called North Pole AC. He was able to come out the same day and determined that the unit was low on freon. He dispensed the freon on a weight scale, showing me the beginning and end weight of the freon cylinder so I would know I was getting what I paid for. (Freon is very expensive for old ACs). Im very satisfied with North Popes prompt and professional service and will keep his number for any future service needs.

A few months ago my AC stopped working. Being new to the area I looked online and found a contractor to come out quickly to assess the situation. He told me that my outside unit was old and in bad shape. He said it needed to be replaced right away and quoted me $2500 to do it. I decided to get a second opinion. I called North Pole and spoke to Lisandro. I asked him to provide me a quote to replace my unit and described what the previous company told me. He said he would be glad to give me a quote but he asked to come out first to assess my unit because what I was describing didn’t add up to him. He came and found that my outside unit was actually working just fine. It was the coil in my air handler inside that was leaking freon. He replaced my coil and my AC has been working great since then. Had I not contacted North Pole I would have paid to replace a unit that was working fine and I would have had to pay more money to find out it was the coil inside. It’s rare to find a contractor who is honest these days and is working for the best interest of the customer. Lisandro is definitely a person who you can trust to get the job done without trying to rip you off. I highly recommend him!

Hands down the best customer service and professionalism and knowledge of their craft. Another contractor wanted to charge me $1500 for a part. North Pole showed up the day after and spent under 2 hours here, and the AC is the coolest its been in 12 months. Best service I have seen in this industry in 5 different states I have lived in!

Service tech Luis was very professional and he was very attentive to my concerns. He did a thorough inspection and was able to identify the issue. He also provided some recommendations to consider in the future so that I would be ready/prepared to address them in a timely manner.Only issue I had was the cost of the Freon. After they left I called around to see what the others were charging per pound and it was about $20 less. Ouch. Not sure if their overhead is high but it cost me at east $60 extra compared to the others. Their service fee was standard to the others. Still they are a reputable company and very nice to work with. I will call them back as I know they dont try to upsell or scare you into doing something you really do not need.I would have given 5 stars if it wasnt for the Freon cost otherwise they were exceptional.

All of these reviews are correct. We has a new Rheem system placed in 3 years ago and weve paid for the system and labor twice!! I have a stack of receipts that couldve been resolved with the right professional. This company has trained, knowledgeable technicians that listen, diagnose and resolve issues. Im truly grateful I found them. We will certainly keep them in mind even for our next home.

Ive been using the services of this company for 3 or 4 years. He helped me nurse an old air conditioner along for several years when he could have tried to sell me on an immediate replacement. Hes come to my house a couple times for no charge to follow up on a previous service call. When the time came I chose him to replace my air conditioner as I trusted him and his quality of work.
