I would like to mention that Marco and Conner installed a brand new Carrier Air Conditioning System and it was done professionally. I was impress with their attention to detail workmanship throughout the installation. The condenser unit outside was placed on a 5 inch high concrete slab on top of my old slab and the unit was well secured to the new concrete slab. They followed all county codes and a job well done. I also received a lesson on setting my thermostat correctly. I will recommend Mills Air Inc to all of my neighbors here in my community. Thank you Mills Air.
Real customer review.Prior Military 11 1/2 years combat arms19D Cav Scout.6 deployments, Disabled Veteran.I called Mills about a non operating HVAC Unit.It took almost 24 hours to get a tech out due to the overwhelming amount of calls they are getting. I understand that.The phone operators could use a fine tuning of Attitude. They are cold and not reassuring.Once the tech came out, he was able to get my unit at least blowing cool air. The issue requires a total unit change out. Due to Covid and part shortage, Mills needs a few day to Gather the need warranted parts. Again I totally understand.Mike A, with Mills has kept excellent contact with me and has changed my opinion of the company for the positive.My Unit is set to get repaired/replaced 9/3/21.Outside unit fully replaced and inside unit needed parts only. The air is Blowing extremely cold (wife is Happy) in the common areas and bedrooms, except the master for some reason. But that was a original issue when moving into the home.Mike called me today 9/7 at 1111, and informed me my master heating issue will get resolved. And I will get a scheduling call from Mills today.Tops shelf service, fro 99% of the moving parts of the company. Can’t ask for better….Mike and the AC techs get a⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Ll issues are resolved and I am a happy customer…. Happy because my home is cool once more…
The maintenance guy that came to my home was really nice and on time. He was very helpful in explaining things to me. He corrected one of my vents in a room that has been hot for 2 years. Now that room cools really well. I did not like finding out when I was paying him by card, that there is an additional 3.5% charge for the use of a card. I should have been told that when I made the appointment

My technician Patrick was very knowledgeable and professional. He called me half hour prior to my appointment making sure that I was home. Once he came to my house, he asked me what the problem was and from there he took 5 minutes to evaluate the issue and got it fixed in 15 minutes. He was very understanding and kind and even went out of the way to see if my A/C worked with cold air before closing his ticket. Thank you Patrick for your great service.
They were able to come out and fix AC issue the next day as other servicer providers were a month out. then they call schedule appt to do the maintenance the next week. Travis was amazing.

We are very happy with our service technician Gary. He called before the service visit to let us know when he would arrive at our home and he was right on time. He spent time talking to me about the problem we were having, made a diagnosis and kept us informed of what needed to be done to solve our problem. Gary was very professional, friendly, and funny - he has a great sense of humor. Most importantly, he seemed determined to satisfy our needs as customers of Mills Air.
They have the best customer service and Lisa in dispatch was very professional and helped me to make an appointment right away. She even ordered the coil which was needed for my 2nd A/C immediately and the very next day she had the tech install it without me calling her again for an appointment. I was very impressed with Lisa’s effort as she takes every customer as her priority. Excellent service and thank you Lisa for being very responsive and take care on the issue.
This was our annual inspection, and despite being as hot as it is out, they had openings within 24 hours to perform the inspection, even though our issue was not urgent.Travis has been our service guy for a while now, and as he always does, he called 15 minutes ahead of time to let us know he was coming, and even told me that if it was raining when he got here, he would need to reschedule, which is totally fine. I appreciate the heads up phone call, so that I had a chance to wrap up what I was working on to be able to greet him and tell him any issues we were having.Despite being a Dallas Cowboys fan :) Travis is always ontime, efficient, and keeps us in the loop with any issues he finds or suggestions he has for us. He was in & out within 20 minutes, and he cleaned his area perfectly when he left.When you call for maintenance, I would suggest calling for Travis, because he is one of the best AC guys out there.

Bought a home, and was having some A/C issues. After seeing that they were the original company that had installed the unit I called them, and set an appointment for them to come out and fix my issues. Josh arrived well within the allotted 12-5 timeframe. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Knew the issue as soon as he arrived and fixed it quickly. I’m very appreciative that Mills air came out within 6 hours of me calling. I hope I don’t anymore issues but I’m very happy with the service I received.
Travis assisted with our maintenance recently and he communicated with us very well, he was considerate, took the time to educate us, answer questions and help us get the most life out of our unit. Mills Air is getting a 5 stars for its maintenance service only because of Travis alone. They also have a few other service techs that are very experienced, so if you need that kind of help specifically, I recommend them for that. Mills Air does not get 5 stars for their original installation job, but I will say they have really great people on their team as far as service and maintenance techs are concerned.
Called to have 3 capacitors replaced as one was failing. Provided model # and serial # so that they would not waste a trip. Service tech called 30 minutes before I asked if he had the capacitors he said yes that he has a fully stocked truck. He arrived but only had 2 of the 3 and not the one that was failing. Wanted $448.00 to replace all 3. I ordered all 3 for $76.00. l understand a mark up to cover trucks insurance etc. But 400% is extravagant. On top of the price he charged $86.00 service charge for service he could not preform.

The AC filters supplier sent me the wrong size of electrostatic filters, although packing list showed that the correct size was ordered. I called Ralph and he arranged to have someone from Mills Air quickly pick up the wrong size filters & drop off a set of the correct size at my front door. I’ve always had good, responsive service from Mills Air and I’ve been a customer for 15 years.Most recently, Valentin was here for annual checkup. Very professional & thorough job!

Mills Air installed a new unit 22 months ago, unfortunately one of the components failed. Their technician, Ryan quickly diagnosed the issue and replaced the failed component. Ryans service was excellent, good attitude on time and responsive. The experience would have been better if Carrier would have stood behind the labor (parts only under warranty).

Wonderful service! I highly recommend this company. they were easy to schedule with and did quick and efficient work. They were also very respectful and kind to ensure minimizing any mess from working in the attic and checking on the integrity of the seals of our exhaust fans that we thought were leaking. We work with Dan today, within 1/2 an hour he detected a problem with our vents we did not notice in all the time we live in the house. Dan was very knowledgeable at the AC system. I called around 7pm because my ac decided to randomly break! The lady ask for my information, gave it to her and she said a service tech would be contacted us shortly!Waited an hour, put my 2 year old to bed in his room that is now 86° and called back to ask if I could get an eta on when this service tech would be calling us..she says she will send a page to them and have them call with an eta.. waited another hour, called back and said we shill haven’t heard anything and we worked in the morning, she said, well it takes a few hours for them to call!If you would have told me this from the beginning, I could have called around to other places and been able to get someone here. But now it is 10pm and no one is available to come out until the morning!Very unprofessional and unacceptable!Don’t call this place, unless you want to wait hours or days for a call to let you know when they can service you.
We called in Mills Air because they were listed on our AC unit on a house we bought. Joel Desir was our tech. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. I called up to get a quote to replace a unit and was told that someone would call me back rather quickly. 2.5 hours later and no one returned my call, I called back and told them that no one has called me back and was hoping I would have the unit installed next week. No happy. When I called back they wanted all my information AGAIN!6/28/21 - Once again you disappoint me. You ask me for something I have already provided you when I initially requested a quote. So sad that you cant even check thru your own information for my number. But the good news, I have hired a company that responded immediately and will be installing on Wednesday.

I just moved into my first house and on move in, the AC had stopped working. I called Mills from a recommendation of a friend and they were able to come a few hours later. The technician was able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem for an amazing value. He also took the time to help orient me to the system and teach me some good maintenance tips. It was really reassuring as first time home buyer to have this help!
I have purchased two air-conditioners from Mills over the last ~14 years and have had Mills here on numerous occasions for repairs and to install the UV lights (4 thus far!). Never had I had better service and professionalism from a Mills technician. Dan Arnold was fantastic! My A/C air handler froze up around 2:30 In the afternoon, called Mills Air Conditioning around 3:00 pm and by 6:00 pm, Ryan the service tech was here & diagnosed the problem. I could not believe that they were able to send someone so quickly. Even though the handler had thawed by then, as I turned the unit off & only ran the fan, he was able to determine that it was one of two problems and we will have to check the handler to see if it happens again. Ryan is very professional & thorough & explained what to look for in the event it happens again. I am so thankful that I called Mills A/C and they will definitely be the one company that I will use going forward.
Mills has been my go to for AC repair for the last decade plus and this latest experience reinforced that. I called on a Sunday expecting to get a voicemail to have somebody call me back during work hours on Monday. Instead, I received a call within the hour scheduling a technician for the next morning. Josh showed up on time with a cheery and energetic personality. He was able to immediately diagnose the problem. He also took the time to explain how he discovered the issue and quick AC lesson. He even helped me out with a slightly unrelated issue.

This company is a joke. I had them service my ac on the condo I bought just before I moved in, they serviced it on July 1st, I moved in on July 2nd and realized the air conditioning inside wasn’t running but it was late, so on the 3rd I called them and they sent a tech out. He was pretty sure it was something on the roof but he didn’t climb ladders because of a bad fall so he was trying to get the other tech on duty to come over, that never happened but he told me that he couldn’t imagine he would walk back into the office on Tuesday and find out that I was still waiting on a repair and he’d be really upset. He also mentioned he’d bring it up during their Tuesday meeting.He clearly didn’t because when I called on Tuesday, they had no idea why I was calling and I still had to wait again to nearly 5pm for some other tech to get out here after spending the entire 4th of July weekend with out air conditioning, why did I buy a service contract?Over night this happened again, inside unit not running, it’s 75 degrees in here? Women tells me it’s an $85 service charge and I’m lucky if I see them before pm and she stopped herself I believe before telling me If they have to come after 5pm it’s going to cost me more.Why did I pay for a service contract and why was my air conditioning absolutely fine until these jokers started messing with it. I conceded it could be a coincidence but after making me WAIT the ENTIRE JULY 4th holiday with out even an apology or a priority call, and again being, shoved to the end of the list, I’m not sure I believe these guys.It was a mistake not to go back to my previous company,

Update as of 29 July 2021: Just had service completed by Gary. He was incredible and extremely knowledgable. I would reserve him for service every time. He walked through the issues, took the time to explain them to me and then found other issues and quickly repaired them even though that is not what he was here to do.I have worked with Mills for over a year now and have the entire team to be incredible. Customer Service, management, and technicians. Plus, I have to recognize both Jesse (Manager) and Sherree (Customer Service). They go the extra mile to help their customers. Given the fact we live Florida, there are very few things that I care about more than Air Conditioning, and Mills is our go-to team.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Both Valentin and Sean were great. Two different styles but both effective at their positions and take pride in their work. Ralph, the Manager, is professional and informative and always willing to assist customer concerns. Mills A/C clearly takes pride in their work, takes care of their team and understands the customer. They deserve public recognition across the board. A/C is not something to take lightly in Florida, and we are lucky to have Mills as our A/C company. I highly recommend this team. They have our trust.
After the company that installed our a/c system failed to come out for a warranty service call I contacted Mills air. Sean, the technician that came out, was awesome. He worked fast but also took care to go over every detail on the job, finding a tiny pinhole leak in the system that other technicians had missed or insisted didnt exist that fixed the issue right away. Would call Mills air back to my home again in a heartbeat.

Very fast and accurate service. Glad I called them because they fixed my air right away! I called at 8 in the morning and they arrived at 1 in the afternoon to fix my air in less than 15 min. Thank God they did, because it was 91 degrees outside and my house was very hot. Highly recommended!

Awful experience with mills air. Stay clear of this company. Terrible customer service, will not honor their satisfaction guaranteed warranty. Misdiagnosed my system 3 times, provided 3 different repairs charging me for labor/parts each time, 4 months later AC unit still broke and now being told it has been continually a problem with Mal manufactured parts, says it’s not their issue and as customers we need to pay up on the service and labor fees. Related it to going to a junk yard and getting parts, never know what your going to get. Sure isn’t this way if you went to a Mercedes dealership and bought a brand new car, can you imagine being told “sorry you need to buy a new Mercedes it’s not our fault the manufacturer made it poorly”. STAY CLEAR! you will be robbed of your money and clearly they have no consideration for the customer who is hiring a “trustworthy” company, or so I thought to repair their brand new homes AC unit that they installed.
I had to have the AC coils cleaned. It was a big job, but Kyle, the service tech, did a great job - and fast too! Best of all, Kyle answered all of my AC questions, and I had a lot of them! He was very personable and answered any question I had.

Jose Maldonado arrived on time. He listened to my observations and prior history with HVAC system. Jose M. surveyed the possible culprits to achieving proper air flow. Jose M. stated the registers throughout our house needed to be adjusted. After Jose M. adjusted the registers in our house, I noticed an improvement in airflow.I would most definitely recommend Mill’s HVAC for any issues with heating or cooling your house.
The first day we moved into our new home, the AC went out. We made it through the first night and knowing it was the weekend we understood it would be a little while before someone could take a look at it. Every single person we spoke to was more than helpful and kind. By far the best customer service we have ever had. They each went above and beyond to get the part next day from Jacksonville due to our situation. They went out of their way to call early and provide updates. They had the part delivered to us today and a service tech install it today. Lisa was incredible, Brittany was incredible and our service technician Roy (I couldn’t find him in the provided directory) was amazing. The AC unit in the downstairs of my home, stopped working yesterday. I called Mills as I had heard them advertised on 104.1. They set me up for an appointment this morning with an 8am to Noon window. At 9:25am my tech called to say he was on the way. When Hunter arrived he was very friendly, polite and professional. He explained what was going on very clearly, so that I was able to call my husband at work and explain it to him. I can’t say enough good things about this company. I always hear about them on 104.1 and when we purchased our new home there was no other option in my opinion. They give a four hour window but every time they have come out. They were always in the early time frame of that window. We worked with Dan today and he was nothing but amazing. This business is everything you need in an AC company. I found them to be professional, courteous, friendly, prompt, honest and well priced. Hunter ( the technician) was well versed and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem and gave all options for repair. He was especially good at educating me so I could make the best decision. I highly recommend Mills Air and will use them exclusively for AC maintenance/ repair in the future!
I don’t write reviews because it’s just not my thing. We moved into a brand new house six months ago and have been hearing a whistling noise that is absolutely annoying and deafening to my husband whose office sits right outside the hvac unit. We had two different techs come out, one came out twice and said he didn’t hear it. Ryan L came out and within one and a half minute, he found the issue and fixed it. My husband was so impressed, he’s still in shock at the silence.Ryan was very professional, super friendly, and he took the time to explain how ACs work. I have a much better understanding that so many others tried to explain and failed to, of how things work and what could be taxing to a unit, or corrode it and make it leak.If Ryan gets his own company, I’ll take my account to him. If I have to call Mills Air again, and he’s not the one they send, we will rather pay someone else for something that’s under warranty.Thanks Ryan! You’re a true pro at your job! We contacted Mills Air because our 4 month old unit stopped working. On a Friday. In July! Sean was backed up with work, but he made it to our house at around 7:30 pm. Sean worked in the pouring rain to figure out our problem and fix it very quickly. We were back in the cool in no time. Thanks Sean!

Mills air is the worst, won’t call back, poor repair service and techs are not very knowledgeable. The installed my Hvac on my new home and it’s been a disaster. Don’t used this company

The technician was fast, courteous and knowledgeable. He arrived on the early end of our scheduled time frame which is great! He replaced a bad capacitor and had us running cool air within 15 minutes. Service calls are never gentle on the wallet. Though, Mills Air is priced fairly competitive, and considering the quality of their work; appropriately priced.

Ryan from Mills Air was great- professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt. Everything you hope for from your friendly neighborhood HVAC service. He arrived early, after calling to let me know he was twenty minutes out, diagnosed the issue quickly and talked me through what was to be done. He even mentioned that I might be able to do the actual system cleaning myself, since it was a simple fix (I declined because I wanted to observe a professional before attempting it myself). He explained his process every step of the way, and double-checked for additional issues while his shop vac was in use, then let me know what to look for in purchasing such a vacuum myself. I could not ask for more from a serviceman, and I was only out about $200 at the end. I would definitely recommend Mills Air to someone else in need.
I had to call for service, and scheduling was easy and convenient. Dan the service teach called with his ETA, and arrived right on time. He was friendly and professional. Upon review he explained to me the issue, and ordered the required parts.

We first had Jason come out to inspect our unit and he was thorough and knowledgeable to quickly diagnosis the issue and get the repair process started. From there Sherree took over and was able to quickly get the warranty claim issued, part ordered and next day installation for the broken part. Josh was the tech who installed the new part and he was timely, knowledgeable, and friendly. From the techs to the office staff, the company was on top of communicating, on time, and quick to resolve the issue. I would recommend them to anyone who is having issues with their AC Unit.
