This is the first negative review I have ever taken the time to write. I am extremely disappointed in my experience with English Air. I trusted Anton, the owner of English Air to install a brand new AC unit at my business. We have had multiple problems with this unit and have called English Air to handle these problems on this band new unit installed in 1/2021.The unit leaked into my ceiling flooding the ceiling of my office. It also leaked gallons of water down my walls and most recently under my newly installed floor.I have called English Air and in response sent out a very nice service man. I do not have any problems with him. He checked the unit and told me it appeared to be cooling properly and was not sure why the kitchen was not cooling. He checked the thermostat and said it was fine but agreed that the kitchen was hot. He said he would have the owner, Anton come to the office and see what was happening since he was not sure himself. This was the third service call and I was billed for these calls.Anton never came to the office to check the problem. Instead one month later, he texted me. I asked him when he would come to the office and check the unit and he said he was out of town and did not know that we were expecting him to come to see why the unit was not working properly.This week the unit leaked 15+gallons of water into the ceiling, in the walls, and under the floor. My husband called English Air on Monday night as he was vacuuming water out of the ceiling. Anton has not called us back. We now have had to hire a Water Remediation company to dry, dehumidify, remove the walls, and remove the floors. So far the bill is over $7,000. It is my hope that English Air will take responsibility for this improper install.

Great company! Out of all the AC companies I have dealt with, English Air Inc. is my number 1 go to company for commercial units. Roman fixed our Johnson Controls commercial AC system at our apartment complex. Thank you Roman for answering all my questions, your thorough work and making sure our system was in tip-top shape.

Eli and Isaiah installed my AC unit and air handler today 07/19/2021.They completed the installation in timely. The job is clean and Eli show me how to operate the unite. we were very hot with temperature 90 degrees inside. AC now is cooling. Thanks again Eli and Isaiah for the good work. This review is long overdue. I have known Roman at English Air for several years and his team has serviced units over periods that encompass three of my primary homes and one investment property. Ive had the pleasure of working with Roman, Anton, Fareed, and Daulton. Ive enjoyed communicating with Leah as she is extraordinarily customer service oriented and professional. The one constant that has never changed with anyone from English Air is that whoever comes to my home is confident in the service that they provide. This confidence comes from experience, knowledge, and effective communication. They have always shown the requisite knowledge to identify an issue, the experience to resolve the issue and the keen ability to communicate exactly what a consumer needs to resolve the issue. English Air is the only AC company that I trust and I truly enjoy working with their team. I cant thank you enough.

My AC unit stopped working and it ended up getting up to 87 degrees in my home. I called Rhiannon and they had someone out 2 hours later. Eli came and fixed the unit. He was super helpful and professional. He showed me what he was doing and actually fixed it. I have had Hvac representatives from other companies out before and this was by far the most pleasant experience yet. Highly recommend them.

Everyone I dealt with was courteous and once the extent of need was determined for my 23 year old heat pump & air handler, we decided to replace both units the very next day. I received a text message letting me know that Dalton was on his way, arriving at the scheduled time, to begin removing the old units, accepting my initial (50%) payment. About a hour later, a second tech, Fareed, arrived with the new units to be installed. Both Techs were very pleasant, answering my questions, as they went about their work. They hauled away the old units, removed all packaging, trash and debris from their work areas, helped us setup the App on my Smart Phone, demonstrated basic functionality of the Thermostat, asked for and answered question from my Wife and I and accepted our final payment for our new system. When we asked about routine services, Dalton explained about their annual and semi-annual programs and would have some calls us to follow up on our interest. This was a pleasant experience compared to our previous experiences with A/C problems and we are appreciative of the professionalism shown by everyone we’ve dealt with at English Air Inc.

Roman is the guy! Called, said it would be about a hour before they could get to us. Arrived right on time, had problem diagnosed in minutes and fixed moments later. All in all only took about 20 minutes to get cold air blowing again. Excellent service, excellent work. Will call again for services.

Frequently see a work van in Eustis with this logo and had considered calling to get my A/C checked for summer. Today I saw a male driver drinking a canned alcoholic beverage leaving a gas station driving the van with this logo around 5:30 P.M. Never used this company but certainly wont earn my business now having rogue employees drinking and driving. The driver was drawing attention to himself as he peeled out of the gas station and pulled out in front of other unprepared drivers. Looked to be a newer van but was too fast for me to get the model once he got on the road. I called and left a voicemail to the company number with no further contact. Watch the roads if you see this companys van! So wrong and unprofessional, and sadly only others are those who pay the price.

I am very happy with the service we received from English Air! They came out the same day I called. Everyone is very professional and polite. Dalton did a fantastic job and fixed our problem. We will definitely be using their services again. I plan on hiring them to do maintenance on both of our air conditioning units.

My first experience with English Air after my longtime AC man retired. They were a referral from a friend, and Im very, very pleased with the results. Extremely professional from first phone call all the way to the summation report of my tech (Eli). This is an older house I recently purchased and the systems needed a thorough inspection and I needed an education of the different controls. 5 stars.

English Air has been fantastic!! From first visit to install the staff has been ultra friendly and accommodating! Roman came for my in home consultation and took me through all the info and options I had. Anton sent me an estimate that clearly stated what was included with each estimate. I can’t believe they got everything done in one day. They had to demo an existing closet with the old handler inside, remove it, remove the old outside unit and install all new. English Air saved us! We purchased new home, and A/C went out during hottest week of the year. We knew it was near the end of its life, but they got it working for a few more days. We then ordered a new system, and they were able to get it installed within a few days, while other companies had said it would take a week or two to get the units. They did a great job and would strongly recommend!

English Air is a top quality company who I entrusted to help my elder parents. They were very professional and very caring from the beginning. The owner came out and spent quality time and explained what could be done. They send updates on arrival times for their employees so you don’t have to guess or wonder if they are showing up. If you are looking for a company who has old fashion work ethics, then this is the company for you. Note that I had 3 other companies come in for estimates and what a joke they were. 5 minutes in the door and they knew everything...which was how deep they can get in your pocket. Go with English Air and you’ll be very happy!

Im an inspector and know what to look for. I enjoy getting into technical discussions with the technicians. That may have made English Airs job harder! They installed a FIT system for my home at near the same price as the other contractors sell typical split systems. (less than some!) Better temperature distribution, perfect humidity control, quiet enough to have below a bedroom window, and the variable speed compressor significantly reduced electric bill. Ive been singing their praises to everyone in my contact list!

Anton and his team have been great. They installed a new handler and condenser for me and everything has been great so far. Eli and Isaiah made sure the install was completed to my satisfaction, and without any issues. Anton is easily reachable if I have any questions about my new system. Also important to note is I compared quotes from 5 different companies and while his quote was not the cheapest, it offered the best unit (both in brand, SEER rating, and variable speeds VS single/two stage from other companies).

We called at about 6pm when we realized our AC hadn’t been working all day. I had already called several places who said it was too late and they couldn’t come out that night. English Air had their techs here within 30 minutes and had the air up and running very quickly. We were so grateful for their quick and efficient service. They also did a great job with communicating when they would be here and following up after the appointment. Incredibly good experience.

I cant say enough good things about this company! Let me first start with Chen, who answers the phone, not only is she one of the nicest people on earth, but it was like talking to a sister! She was so informative and even found a youtube video for me to help me find out how to take off the front of my old unit!! Then, when I had questions about the quote I was given (which i thought was a little high) the owner called me personally to explain the break down. Thirdly, once again, the two nicest, most respectful technicians came out (Roman and Stephan). They communicated with me and gave me the most cost effective ways to repair any drywall or wall repairs interior and exterior including painting, because they state very clearly that they do not do that. As a female who spent 5 years remodeling my house and dealing with a lot of men in this industry. I have never experienced this sort of customer service in a long time!! The outside fan stopped working on my AC unit, causing my home to reach a sweltering 89°F inside during the day. My previous AC installer said they would not be able to come out for several days, so we needed to find someone able and up to the task.Faith from English Air went above and beyond and was able to get a service tech out for us the same day. People make or break a company and Anton and his professional and qualified techs, especially Eli and Roman make their company deserving of 6. I had a lightning strike at my house and the new AC unit English Air recently installed was knocked out of commission. Anton and his team were quick to come out, quickly find our thermostat was “fried” and make the necessary repairs. We were back up and running in no time. We called out a tech after hours to fix our air conditioner. The tech was on time, polite and very helpful. He wore his mask fully while inside and got the system fixed. The owner was british too, which is where I am from originally. Will use again!

Setup an appointment online and got a confirmation. Waited and the appointment time came and went. Called a couple of times and got through finally to someone who as they said wasnt sure why the person didnt come. They will probably come after they are done with their current job. Forget it! Ill look elsewhere. Why bother setting up an appointment if you dont know if you will show up or even call to say you will be late?

This company is a refreshing change as far as HVAC companies go. The short version, hitting on whats most important to consumers is this;Whats on point: Customer service and satisfaction, dependability, ownership and pride of and in the work they do, educating the customer, up front communication, follow up, professionalism, rapport and respect. They care about their community reputation; thats not commonplace, so its a business trait I highly regard.

My daughters AC was making a terrible noise and we needed to shut it down. She is home schooling four of our grandchildren and it was Thursday afternoon. One of her daughters is very ill. The owner of English Air, Anton, called me early Friday morning and dispatched a technician named Eli. He diagnosed the problem,replaced the fan motor and had them running by early afternoon. Great competent service. A real pleasure to work with.

They charged me $190 just to come to my house and find out the problem with my A/C, which I already knew. Then, they wanted to charge me $361 to fix the problem. I definitely do not recommend this company.

You guys did a great job installing our new 18 Seer AC system . Not only did you guys did a great job, but Anton the Owner also did a superb job in explaining the pros and cons of different systems and brands, which helped us makin the decision for the system we chose.

Ive used English Air to install several new AC units for my rental properties. I had an old AC unit that was installed by another company before I knew of English AIr. The AC stopped working because of a burnt out circuit board. I took a picture of it and contacted English Air first thing in the morning before they opened and they got back to me right away and had someone at my rental within 2 hours with parts in hand. The technician installed the circuit board and checked to make sure there was no other hidden damage to the AC unit. He also changed out a Capacitor for the outside unit as that was not operating at 100% and may have caused a future problem. AC was up within 2 hours and tenant and I were very happy. So great responsiveness as no one likes to be without AC in Florida. Their pricing is very good and didnt cost an arm and a leg. The technician clean up after and was on his way. Everyone at English Air is pleasant to work with and customer satisfaction is clearly their number one priority. You wont find a better company in central Florida.

Update: the ceiling was opened and there was another AC line that needed moved. Came immediately to assess and had appt to move when we needed them. Again great job. Company is stellar.I had a different AC company when I purchased my home 3 years ago. I put in new tongue and groove in my ceiling and needed 2 vents lowered and sealed. While my AC guy was at the house, I asked him about fixing the vents. He stated they didn’t do vent repair 😳 so I started calling around trying to decide how to manage the new ductwork. I called English Air and they were fantastic. They walked me through how to self repair the vent (I am fairly DIY) or they offered to repair it for me. I did it myself and it has worked fine. I am currently putting in skylights and the installer wanted the ductwork moved. I called English Air and they came out the very next day. The ductwork was fine for skylight installation. They did mention I needed maintenance on my AC which they came out the next day. English Air was honest, they could have charged me to move the ductwork and not said anything and just charged us. They didn’t charge us for the evaluation and charged us very reasonably for the AC maintenance. I have zero reservation about using this company for my AC issues and eventual AC replacement. Fantastic job guys 😍

Updated 01/30/2020As a result of testing by Roman, it was determined that the 35 year old heat pump was no longer functional. He provided a recommendation and quote during the same day. I consented to installation of the new heat pump during 01/14/2020. The installation crew arrived on time, and got right to work. All went well, and the installation was completed by approximately 4:00 p.m. Guidance regarding usage of the new thermostat was provided, and appreciated.The crew worked well together, and even removed some old parts from the premises. I recommend English Air, Inc. Their work is high quality, their crew is friendly, informative, and efficient, and the pricing was certainly acceptable. They did a great job for me.Hello. Chen in the office was very helpful at the start, and provided all of the information I initially requested. After checking my schedule for the next day, I contacted her again, and she was able to schedule for the next day. Technician Eli arrived at approximately 12:00 p.m. after which we discussed the issue with the house heating system, and he got to his work. He checked multiple issues, and explained to me what he had discovered, and what the solution is. I agreed to have the repair done. The heating system was tested and worked effectively after the work was done. I also asked Eli to check the air conditioning system, which he did and reported his findings, which were positive. Our technician, Roman, was very knowledgeable and thorough on our Daikin HVAC Maintenance. He helped me better understand my HVAC System. The level of service exceeded my expectation. I highly recommed English Air.

Services are overpriced. Technician messed up my thermostat so my upstairs was running 81 degrees. Called to have them come and fix, very non responsive and couldnt fit me in for days. Will never use again. Now I have to pay someone else to fix whatever their guy did.

After comparing AC companies, English Air seemed to be the best for quality of AC units, workmanship and customer service.I was right in my research. From Antons ( the owner) knowledge of what my house needed to be kept cool, to the installation, clean up, follow up. I had several questions about the whole process and Anton was extremely knowledgeable. English Air is an honest hard working company. They saved me over $800. I had another company come out and quote to fix my ac/ heat. After getting a vibe that something wasnt right I called English Air. Eli came out the very next day and found wires disconnected and the real issue. He helped prevent me from being scammed. This was a very fine experience. Chen the inside person was wonderful. She arranged the appointment and mechanics showed up right on time. When Eli and Brendon arrived they were very pleasant. They checked outside unit as well as inside air handler. Only needed Freon but cleaned line as well as coils. I would recommend them to my neighbors.GOOD EXPERIENCE. Thank you English Air.

And our tech Eli was amazing, give this man a raise!Full story: My wife and I bought our house a few years ago and we knew the AC unit was older and may have some issues. Each year theres been one small issue or another and each time weve tried a different HVAC company because the service has never quite been what we were hoping for. Every time in the past it took at least two visits and we had to fight not to pay a second diagnostic fee since the first diagnosis was wrong.I looked at a ton of Google listings to try and find something better when our AC went out last night. I saw the high ratings for English Air and I was hopeful but I must confess also a little skeptical, wondering if the review score was being padded somehow. Its not. This is just genuine first class service if my experience today is any indication.They were incredibly kind and courteous from the moment they answered my initial call to the end of the service visit. They were very communicative as they worked on getting me on the schedule as soon as possible and arrived even earlier than originally projected, very soon after I first called (which is a great thing in Florida where a dead AC is always a big deal).The tech, Eli, was great! He did a thorough job checking out the system to make sure what he was fixing was the real issue. He was very kind to explain everything to me as we went along, helping me to understand better how my AC system actually works and exactly what was causing the issue and how I could deal with it myself in the future, costing them potential profit from more service calls but earning a loyal customer with that level of honesty and helpfulness. In the end he identified not just the present issue but the underlying factor that was contributing to it and was able to fix it then and there with a creative solution that cost me nothing extra.Next time we have an issue with our AC I know for sure who were calling.

Anton and his crew have gone above and beyond my expectations in all of my interactions with them. Utmost courtesy, professionalism and patience in showing and explaining to me exactly what needed to be done and why. The team at English Air did a great job in 2014 providing technical information on options and quotes for my HVAC system replacement, as well as on the installation of the Daikin equipment. Over the years Roman has provided great technical service in a timely manner on planned as well as unplanned service calls. This year (2020) when a problem was identified, late in the day on the Friday of a holiday weekend, Roman was able to perform maintenance that got the system cooling for the weekend and Anton worked with Daikin to apply the warranty, resulting in a part replacement (under warranty) being installed the next week. The support provided this year occurred in the middle of the COVID19 issue when many parts were on back order and shipping often delayed. I am very happy with the business, technical, and educational support Anton, Roman and team have provided over the years and highly recommend English Air. Thank You!

English Air recently replaced an old AC unit at my house and they did an amazing job. The team was very professional and knew exactly what they were doing. They explained everything about the new system in great detail, and walked me through on how to operate the new thermostat. They even offered financing options that made the cost of a brand new AC system a little easier to bear. Truly exceptional service at a reasonable price!Update: After having the system installed a little less than a month, I have already seen significant savings on my electrical bill, which went down by about 40% from last month. We recently had Anton of English Air out to fix my mother in laws heater. We had a cold snap in the weather and they fit us into their schedule quickly. Anton arrived during the time they had scheduled, and he did a fantastic job getting the heat running in less than an hour.
