The serviceman from Ambrose Air did all possible to save my old AC as long as they possibly could which I really appreciated. When it cam time, they did a terrific job in installing a new AC at my residence. Thanks.
Ambrose Air, Inc. has always been responsive and professional in our dealing with them for service and repair. We recently had to have a new AC system installed and we called Ambrose. The were quick to respond and to get our new system installed. Their work is meticulous. We have referred several friends to Ambrose for repair and new installs. They are the best!
We called this company on Thursday to repair our upstairs unit. A tech came and worked for 4 hours on both units; I was confused as to why bc only the top wasnt working, but he said it needed to be done. They charged us $380 to clean out the lines, replace a filter, and clean the coils. The next day, our bottom ac unit stopped working. We called them very upset and they sent the tech back out the next day. He, of course, claims no guilt. Says that he didnt check the freon the first day (what ac company doesnt check freon first when they come to diagnose a broken ac) and that now the unit is missing 2 pounds of freon and has a coil leak...the coils HE cleaned on the bottom unit that was running FINE. The owner of the company refused to help at all. They charged us another $280 to replace the freon and put a stop leak spray to try to replace the broken coils. Its now only ONE DAY LATER and our ac has broke again. This company is THE WORST ac company Ive EVER dealt with. They are immoral and unethical and they do not care about their customers. We have 3 young children and do not have the money to go out AGAIN and have another company start from zero. I will be telling my husbands company who works for Disney and referred them to us, what they have done to us. I will be reporting them to the BBB, and of course, any chance I get, I will tell everyone and anyone what they did to us. Word of mouth spreads like wildfire.
Brad was on time and very efficient and friendly. He checked both our units and even fixed a hole in our actic to give us better efficiency with our unit.

The technician arrived even before the scheduled “no later than” time. His name is Brad, and he is a technical rock star, having worked for Ambrose Air more than 20 years. He exhibited encyclopedic technical knowledge of the system and completed the service in less than an hour. The results and the quality of the service exceeded my expectations, and the price was shockingly modest. For all these reasons, Ambrose Air is now my exclusive AC service provider, and I will recommend them enthusiastically to friends, neighbors, and family in the Orlando area.
We called for an estimate on a job, and a very knowledgeable technician came out. We were very impressed with him and requested to have him do our work - even provided compliments to the office when we called to schedule him to do our job. We waited 2 weeks just so he was available. This morning he was scheduled at 8am to start work. Come 8:40am we called because no one showed up. After what seemed like a scramble we were told someone was stuck in traffic and would be here soon. (the shop is about 20 minutes away from our home). 35 minutes later two other techs show up. We refused service.We then called the office and talked with Lisa who told us they could not schedule a specific person as he might be called out on an emergency. Really? Even though we told they scheduled him in the first place? Now they could not even schedule a specific person? I am pretty sure they had not even scheduled our job this morning, and then turned around and sent the first crew they could find! Im sorry, but I feel I cannot trust anything they say now. We asked to speak to the owner, but not sure that message will even be passed on by Lisa.
I was really relieved when the technician told me we didnt need to replace our unit but rather just perform some neglected services to it. That really was surprising because you expect many companies always try and sell you a new system. The honesty I received will have me always call Ambrose Air first the next time I need AC service done.
I couldn’t recommend Ambrose Air more! They are so so so professional, courteous and really good at their jobs. We have used them on multiple properties and I’ll never use another AC company. If there is ever an issue they will usually get to the property within an hour of my calling! Unbelievable customer service! Highly highly recommended!
I was very happy with my experience with Ambrose Air. I reached their after hours answering service at 5:40 on a Friday, Memorial Day weekend. Less than 5 min later, I received a call from a tech that troubleshooted a few possible issues. By 7 PM, the tech had replaced our faulty part and we had a working a/c. The part he replaced had previously been replaced a couple years ago, however the tech showed me that the part he was using was American made vs the old made in China one. Overall, pleasant, speedy and affordable!

Last year I purchased my new airconditioning system from Ambrose Air, Inc. Hands down it was the best decision I made. They were professional, courteous and provided all around great service. They worked with me to find the best system for my budget, even down to my thermostat. I cannot rave enough about Ambrose Air, Inc. In addition, my light bill reduced from roughly $200.00+ to about $120.00!!! My mother is also a very satisfied customer!!! Thank you Ambrose Air, Inc.
Just had my A/C repair by Ambrose Air. My problem was a faulty contactor. When you do a quick google search, the part costs from $8.89 to $39.00.They are trying to charge me $201.00 for the part and $89.00 for labor (Diagnostic Charge).I was the last stop for the tech and he arrive at 5:00 pm. after the work and writing up the invoice, He left by 5:30 pm. It took less than half an hour for the whole job.I am calling Lisa tomorrow morning to try sort out this charge, and see if they are reasonable enough to charge a fair amount for the job done. But for now, zero stars is what they deserve for this rip off attempt.I will keep you all posted.Update: Talked to Lisa. She could not explain the charges. As I understood, they charge $89.00 just to dispatch a tech. It does not count towards the labor they charge later. She says labor is $ 100.00 an hour, but, she would not even admit, that is what they charged me. The part costs come from a book she could not tell me either who is responsible for putting together.My advise to you. DO NOT hire them. If you do, ask for a detail itemized invoice they wont be able to provide.
A couple months ago I really had an issue that I didnt know how to solve with my AC unit. I called Ambrose Air because I had heard of their reliable AC service. They were very courteous throughout the phone conversation, and their technician came out and was able to solve my problem in a very short amount of time. I was pleasantly surprised at the whole experience, and I would highly advise anyone to use Ambrose Air for their AC service in the future. They are amazing!
Recently bought a home in Oviedo. I got several quotes from AC Contractors to replace my original ac system. I have a son with allergies, so I wanted to assure I would get a quality system. Pat, was extremely helpful. He went through all of the specs of the different systems, explaining SEER ratings, filter options, as well as ultra-violet devices killing many germs in the air. Make a long-story short, the new system is great. The air quality has dramatically improved. I realize, from the outside, many ac contractors seem the same. I ended up picking Ambrose Air, because of the time Pat spent with me, explaining everything. After my meeting with him, I felt he understood exactly what I was looking for and sold me a system I would be happy with, without breaking the bank. Thanks.
Great experience. My A/C died overnight. I called first thing in the morning at 7:00 a.m. when they opened and a technician was at my house by 10:00 a.m. They gave me a heads-up call that they were on the way. The technician was very nice - he walked me through how he identified the issue and showed me the part that failed. The pricing seemed market-competitive. Overall would definitely recommend.
Great place they told me they would be here mid morning and showed up less then an hour later. I was worried about a few things and Brad answered all my questions and very helpful. The cost was much less then I had thought it would be. I very much recommend this place. Brad is the best.

We called Ambrose Air in to fix some mistakes another AC company had made on our install. They did a wonderful job, the technicians were polite and friendly and completed the job for a reasonable price. We would definitely use them again.
Great job. Ambrose AC came out and fix our AC unit the same day. The service tech was very helpful and even explained how to prevent build up in the drain over time. the next time we have problems with the air handler Im definitely calling them again. Two thumbs up.
Up charge for a capacitor is ridiculous paid 228 dollars to get one replaced the part cost like 15 dollars on Amazon install takes less than 10 minutes. Will never use them again wish I knew what was wrong could have fixed it myself for like 20 bucks. I can understand 100 to 150 for time and contractor fees but 228 dollars is ridiculous.

Horrible customer NO service. Charge $100 per AC Unit just to look at them and the lady on the phone is rude and mean. Avoid this place like the plague.
Worst.If they had - rating i would have gave them that too.Ordered 2 brand new compressors on thursday and still A/C wasnt working. Asked the guy when it will cool down, the guy tells me it should be cool in couple of hours. Result . Still no A/C for rest of the weekend. B/c they ordered the wrong part(or got the wrong part). So you make the mistake and i had to suffer for the Whole WEEKEND. If you couldnt fulfill the JOB why do you take one?If the A/C or the part was wrong at your companys Air Condition it would have been fixed on that particular day, u wouldnt have suffer the whole weekend without A/C.And Dont make any other customer suffer like you made us suffer. And fix it ASAP .

Well for starters we called a In october and had a tech come in who replaced our heating element. His service was great very friendly and efficient and we were very happy with his work. Unfortunately since the heating element was replaced my A/C began blowing only hot air. Once was so extreme that the house was 100 inside. We decided to call again and had a second tech come in to take a look at the problem he took it upon himself to do what he had to do to fix the A/C without warning us of upcharges and we ended up paying $100 more than what we were told. Its been about 5 weeks and the problem began again and these people give 0 guaranty. We are being told we have to pay again for a problem we payed for already and was never solved. Some techs might be good but not all and the customer service is poor.
I love the consistently quick and responsive service that I receive from Ambrose Air and their technicians.
