We recently replaced our twenty year old heat pump with a new one.Energy Air installed our old system and this new system. Thiswas an emergency install since our old system suddenly stopped working.Energy Air responded quickly to our needs in the “heat of the summer.”Jason, our salesmen found us a system quickly which could replace our old unit’s specs. The install took place only a few days after our purchase of the system. Tran and Oscar did a professional and efficient job of installing the new system. There was one minor problem with a water leak that was resolved quickly. I would recommend Energy Air for your air conditioning and heat pump needs. They are professional, courteous, and know their field of service

Ive been with Energy Air for 27 years and they take great care of me! I pay for the maintenance package and have them come out twice a year for service. Energy Air installed our system new in 2004 from a new build. We had them maintain the system from day one through March of this year, 2021. We had regular AC issues like everyone and they were addressed through regular service maintenance visits and our extended warranty. We had a few bumps in the road however they always made it right. We noticed that our system was working harder the last few years in our power bill as well as additional humidity in the house so we decided to have the system replaced before the hot Florida summer got to us this year.Energy Air sent a sales rep out to review our system just after a regular service visit that we paid for. Our plan has been the Platinum plan that includes 2 visits per year with various items that are looked at and smaller issues addressed like brushing/vacuuming the coils etc. The last few years the visits become shorter and shorter after a long time tech we had departed for another company. We felt that staying with Energy Air was our best course of action as they installed the original system.The salesman suggested the same system that we currently had in an updated model that met todays standards. He neglected to address our issues of hot and cold spots in the house and, high humidity. We decided after the visit to get a second opinion as this is a MAJOR expense.The 2nd estimate company did a complete inspection of our system and what we saw initially on our interior cooling coils from a remote camera probe was pretty disgusting as the unit had just been serviced.We went with the 2nd company and actually spent more money that we planned to to upgrade our system to address the high humidity and hot/cold spots in the house due to the sun shifting during the day.Day of install I was called out to look at my cooling coils. 60-70% of my coils were covered with mildew/dirt on both sides just AFTER a complete service inspection. The tech that serviced the unit never said a word and weve been expressing that the unit was not cooling to our expectations the last few year even with its age taken into account. We use MERV 11 pleated filters that get changed very 60 days dirty or not - do not have pets so the growth was a MAJOR shocker. The growth found did not occur within the span of 3 weeks so shame on Energy Air.Paying almost $300 for a Platinum level service plan for 16 years should, in our minds, keep the owner updated on any issues the unit is having or could have that need to be addressed. Most of my family has allergies of some sorts and after the old unit was removed weve noticed a considerable drop in sinus issues in the house. We do attribute the dirty coils to most of this.Its disconcerting in the way that companies loose there way in this day and age. We never even received an apology from higher management at Energy Air. We reached out to a very trusted employee whom apologized profusely and it was not that persons fault however NOTHING from senior management. We didnt ask for anything, we didnt reach out to the Better Business Bureau however decided that we should post a review so that others do not go through what we went through. This is NOT the company that we knew that previously had ownership involved - its fallen to something other than that.Know your service providers and watch them work as its an unfortunate reality these days.
Above and Beyond...From the scheduling person who worked me into a busy same day schedule to the personable, professional (and better yet, knowledgeable) technician (Devron), I was impressed. Devron worked in the rain and stayed until almost 7 p.m. to complete the repair. I am very pleased that I purchased the system from Energy Air almost 9 years ago and have chosen them for maintenance.
Energy Air has been servicing our ACs for years. Before the sale of our house we had them replace our three units (4ton, 2.5ton and 2 ton). The sales person was knowledgeable and willing to provide us with two different quotes reflecting the options we were contemplating (different SEER ratings).Tran and Mike and their crew worked from the crack of dawn till late to get those three units (condenser unit - air handler - thermostat) installed and went above and beyond to explain my wife how the new ecobee smart thermostat works.During the demolition of an air handler Mike found his initials on the machine, meaning he installed it. For me this was a good sign: Energy Air must be a very good company with low employee turnover, if an employee stays for almost two decades.I will definitely contact Energy Air for services, once we move back in the Orlando area!Thank you guys, great job!

A year ago we invested in a new house to not have any issues including appliances. A year exactly passed and now our ac unit is not working at all, it freezes and stop running on the inside. A tech came by check and a part inside the motor is the issue here. A brand new unit!!!! An already has a part that stopped working. It’s been 5 days and supposedly is going to take 4 more days for the part to arrive???! How is this possible right in the middle of hot Florida summer, we have a baby, two more kids and I’m pregnant with this temperatures. I called and asked them to escalate my call and all I got was I will contact the person who order the parts to contact you and I’m still waiting sitting down for 2 days. Incredible that we have to go thru this when a company this big that works with such a big builder in the Volusia area (dr horton- yea another reason not to buy from them) doesn’t have parts in their warehouse for cases like this that their service is considered emergency.
I called Energy Air today because my A/C had stopped working. It was 90º outside at the time and inside had gone above 80. Genesis P. is the person that I spoke to and she asked me to explain what was happening.I told her and she asked me if I was able to go look at the air handler and provide some information. She told me what she thought the problem may be and asked if I would like to try to correct it myself instead of having a service call. I have never had a home with central air before, because I moved here from Maine last year, so I was skeptical, but she offered to send me an email with instructions on how to possibly solve the problem. Figuring it was worth a try, I said sure. She sent me an email containing step by step instructions which I followed, and this evening Im very comfortable at home with the A/C running.The key takeaway for me, is that they could have set up a service call, done this pretty routine procedure and charged me a significant sum. Instead, they, meaning Genesis, chose to do what was in my best interest. And Im not even a customer. Correction I am now a customer, I just hadnt been before. Cheers to you Genesis and Energy Air! Everyone . . . call them for your HVAC needs!!!

We originally had Energy Air install a new AC unit, add a return vent to our master bedroom, air balance, and attic insulation. Our main complaint was our bedrooms remain hot, and that is the reason we had the air balance and extra return installed. When we had our unit serviced this year we asked them to look into this as our bedrooms temperature is at 76, when our thermostat is set to 72. Our living room is the coolest. When our scheduled time for the technician was 8-12, no technician showed. Apparently they were running behind, and they rescheduled me for another day. When the technician came out he said I needed my house to be air balanced, and the return vent we had installed doesn’t really do anything. He quoted an air balance for $500. I proceeded to call the company and spoke with James on why we would spend $500 when we have had it air balanced before, it doesn’t just change. He states since it’s been a few years, nothing he can do but he would speak with his manager Sean. I waited 1 week for a return call, no one called me back. I called back for James, left him a message. Still 4 days later no return call. At this point I asked to be escalated to the manager Sean. I called every few days and finally after over 2 weeks the manager Sean called me back. I explained to him at this point, my main frustration was no return phone call. He states he is busy and in the field, and truly no empathy or care for his lack of response. Basically, he said his technician doesn’t speak good English, and maybe he misused a word, but the technician spoke perfectly good English to me. Due to the time frame, they stated they will not fix the air balance unless we pay $500. I understand the time frame, but the main issue is: customer service, timely response, technicians showing up in scheduled time frame, and clear communication across their team about the service provided and if it was done correctly or not. When we first used energy air it had great customer service, but it seems like over the past few years that has changed.
My Sales contact was Julian. The service technicians that installed our complete HVAC system were Mike and Oscar. Julian was very knowledgeable, responsive, honest, and friendly, great job by him. Mike and Oscar did an absolutely amazing job. Not only because of their friendly, professional attitudes, and expertise; but by going the extra mile with how neatly and clean everything was set up compared to the previous installer of our old system (was just 3 years old but badly undersized). We purchased our home new 3 years ago, and the Air Handler area after this installation was a NIGHT AND DAY difference with how clean and neat everything was left and set-up. My experience with Energy Air has been exceptional. Keep up the great work!
I had an inspector out to my home which noted some issue with my AC unit on my new construction home. My builder went MIA so I had to contact Energy Air directly since they were the subcontractor who did the install. The technician Manny was very knowledgable and patient with me. He corrected the issues and took the time to educate me on the unit. Recommend Manny for your service.
Monday of this week our Carrier Infinity System incurred a major failure. I call to report my AC system was down and a tech was sent to my home within hours.Omar performed diagnostic tests and accurately identified the problem. Unfortunately the parts required to repair the system were not available.The parts were ordered on Tuesday and arrived on Thursday and installed by Omar that day.Ashley kept me advised as to the status of the ordered parts and the timing of their arrival.Together Omar and Ashley got our system repaired and returned the comfort of AC to our home in the hottest time of the year.We appreciate the service and support we received from Energy Air.

Over the years Ive lived in a couple places & needed AC repairs. I used a couple different companies & most left me disappointed. Because you dont know who to call. I came acrossEnergy Air for some repairs & they were absolutely fantastic. My current AC (which was 15 years old) I decided to replace so not to brake down in the summer...again. Its been a week now & I couldnt be happier with it. From the scheduling, the sales person (Julian who was excellent), to the installation crew, all were fantastic. Also, the unit I was getting was out of stock so they gave me an upgraded one at no extra charge so to not delay the install. Great experience from start to finish. Thanks EA!
We had a problem with our A/C unit and Manny resolved the issue within 30 minutes. He was great with explaining what was wrong and how to fix it. We are very happy with our new A/C. We got the best installers they have Mel and Tran they were beyond amazing!!!!! I always want the best people to work on my house and i know i got it for sure!!!!! Not that they only did a great job installing but they did amazing job by explaining everything and also were so nice to our boys to answer their kids questions. They also clean up beautifully before they left.I feel very happy about everything. Also they have a great prices compare to other companies even our neighbors went with them a month after us. I had an issue with the motor in the air handler. Energy Air Technician came in and told me that the entire fan unit should be replaced and quoted me $450 for labor. Energy Air technician was explaining all the details and made me feel it’s a big issue and trying to charge me the total amount the same day. Once the technician left, found that the issue is due to loose connection of electrical wires and there is no fault with the motor or fan unit. Disappointed with the technician professionalism and his technical capabilities. Called Energy Air Orlando office to express my concern, but the residential service team were rude and doesn’t know how to interact and respond to queries or concerns. Reached out to Energy Air due to prior good experiences but I have now lost the trust with the Energy Air company.
I left my house with my thermostat set at 74 as usual, I came back home to 86 degrees. My unit had shut down and after unsuccessful attempts I finally called. I left a voice message since it was after hours and in less than 10 minutes I received a callback from Davron. He guided me through what was going on and how to resolve the issue. Davron, you saved our family tonight!! Specially my 5 week old baby! I’m forever thankful! Thank you and Energy Air for great support!
Energy Air was hired to install a Daikin mini-split, the installation was done wrong (as their technician informed me on a later visit) and began to leak oil. It took weeks to get a technician to repair the unit, which required a reinstall of the unit, and shortly after still did not work. Called for a fourth visit and gave up when the technician said it was just a “faulty unit”. I would not use them or install a Daikin, ever.
Manny was a true professional and was very courteous. When I asked questions, he gave replies that I could understand. He is a good ambassador for Energy Air and I felt he was trustworthy.
Saved alot of money by calling Energy Air and create help from Manny over the phone. Manny was very helpful over the phone. I recommend him. Thank you Manny!

My home AC was not turning on couple of weeks back due to drain line clog . I was charged couple of hundreds to get it fixed by this company and last week it was not working again due to the same problem .
This company is awesome. I have had them service my AC before and they are very honest and only repair what needs to be done. Yesterday I called because my AC stopped working and the thermostat showed no temp reading at all. By my description of what was wrong I was told that my drain line was clogged. I was emailed a list of instructions on how to clear it myself. It was easy enough to follow and now my air is working again. It saved me a service call. I very much appreciate any company that is not just out to create very expensive service calls. Teach me to do the simple stuff and when I do need repair or replacement, I will call you every time!! That is great customer service!! Thank you so much.

Our air conditioning system quit working. Since Energy Air had installed the system several years ago, we contacted them for service. They sent out Davron the next morning. He quickly determined that a fuse had blown but had to do extensive research to determine why. After diligent testing, he identified a wire in the air handler that had grounded out and caused a short. Davron was extremely courteous and professional. We were extremely pleased by the service provided by Davron from Energy Air.
Worst company ever! They installed my original A/C unit 2 yrs ago in a new construction home. About a month ago, I opened the door to the room that the A/C unit is in and the smell of mildew/mold was very prominent. I also noticed that the unit itself was covered in sweat and the wall that enclosed the duct work was soft from moisture! I called Energy Air because I didnt know what else to do. They came out and said nothing was wrong with the installation nor unit and charged me $189 for the service call. I then reached out to M/I homes warranty department and they sent out another company. This company fixed all the issues and M/I homes covered it. So thankful for M/I homes sending out a different company. Do not use this company if you have options!!! Completely unsat!

It was a great pleasure working with Energy Air. I was most impressed with the knowledge and honesty of my consultant Nick Barker. Had new unit installed beginning of April and my electric bill has decreased almost 75% during the hottest summer months. The technicians that came out to do the install were prompt, courteous, very professional and did a wonderful job. Bad experience for me...been more than 3 months and still waiting for them to call me after spending hrs in their office. At least should be more courteous and professionals. On my opinion.
We had heard such great things about this company and thought wed try them being new to the area. The maintenance pro was very rude and disrespectful in his visit. He spoke to my wife like a child and acted as if he was better than us, even making a comment, I used to live paycheck to paycheck too. (This is in a 1/2 million dollar home). He continued his disrespect by trying to talk over our heads and up sell us on something we really dont need and added more coolant to our system than we originally agreed on, costing us close to $100 more than expected. Im hoping this was just a bad egg, but we will be on the lookout for a new air conditioning company to take over the maintenance on our unit.
What a difference it was. I am so pleased with the service I received today. I had my ac unit put in by Del-air and I have had a few electrical problems with the installation. Well this am the outside unit stopped working. I called Energy Air and was told a tech would be there in 45 min. 25 min later Todd was at my house. He was very polite and he started working right away. He showed me the part that was defective and had a replacement part in his truck and had it installed in minutes. I will always call Energy Air and I will ask for Todd. The service is above and beyond. The price was very good too. I must say Energy air made my bad day a cool day...Thank You Energy Air!
The person helping on the phone and the service tech were amazingly friendly and helpful. The service tech managed to squeeze me in on a very busy day because my ac had stopped and it was in the 90s. He had it back up in less than an hour. I would not hesitate to call again.

Energy Air has been amazing to work with. They were able to get a representative out to the house after hours in order to fix my central air unit. Steven was quick, personable, and knew exactly what he was doing. He provided me with advice and specific instructions on how to prevent this issue again in the future. Steven did not try to over charge me or take advantage of the situation in anyway. I would certainly use them again for any issues that may arise in the future!
Get service and a quick response time
Here is my 5 cents about this place: We moved into a brand new house in 2014 and we started having issues within 2 years of our move. I dont know who is wrong or who is right here but if I am getting a bad fish from a supermarket Ill probably blame the supermarket. With the fish, I can at least look at the expiration date but what do I know about an AC and how should be suspicious about it? Especially if it is a brand new one. When we found out that our coil was bad and there was only a handful of freon left in it, we decided get a new one from them for almost $900. They came and installed it. Everything seemed to be fine. Two months later we found about this lawsuit against Lennox and we filled out an application with the law firm. Everything was fine until we found out that Energy Air could not provide the serial number of the coil that they installed!!! What kind of a company doesnt keep record of a coil that they install? So there goes our $900 that we could easily get back. Meanwhile shortly after they installed the new coil, we started having issues again where the AC couldnt keep with the heat. They came to look at it and charged us $89 and lied to our face that everything was fine while pumping freon into the system behind the scenes to mask their bad workmanship. They think we are stupid but we are not. As of two days ago the freon they put it in the system is long gone and here we are after 5 years of buying a brand new home and after replacing a coil + 2 dampers + all service charges we are sitting in house that has an AC that blows warm air. I am in the process of buying another AC. I have to pay probably $5-6K for the new one. What I want from companies like these is to protect consumers...it is not a good practice to install an AC with known problems. They should not be seeking to make profit from service charges while knowing that the product they are promoting is worthless. They are the subject matter experts, we are not.

This vendor was used by David Weekely to install the HVAC systems in my newly constructed home. They were contacted to install Nest thermostats after construction was complete. They will only warranty thermostats they provide. Price to install 2 Nest thermostats (including the thermostat) was over $800. As the thermostat can be obtained for about $210, this equates to $190 installation cost per thermostat. Seems a bit high.
The person on phone did not want to honor their own commitment for a warranty service and virtually refused to get the issue checked up and said that if you dont have an issue of uneven cooling they will charge me. She will not even look at notes of the engineer visit where he mentioned that air flow technician visit required to check the uneven cooling issue. Also she directly confirmed that you might have to live with the issue for life.
Between the salesman to the installers a very professional company and excellent work.

I requested bids from 5 HVAC (including 4 of the largest) companies on two new systems. Julian Morales was the only one who inspected the duct work in the attic and gathered the data (window sizes, insulation type, window type, building orientation, etc.) to conduct a manual J/S to determine the proper tonnage of the equipment. All other companies merely wanted to trade like size for like size and it turned out one of the units was oversized causing humidity issues. When I asked for a manual J/S they either resisted or said there would be a charge. I had hot and cold spots in the house and he was also the only one to suggest a zoning system which has worked out very well. His knowledge of HVAC was extensive and he was very patient answering questions over a period of weeks.The installers Mel, Tran and Raul did an excellent job on both units which required extensive wiring with a second sensor and changes to the duct work. I was told Mel and Tran were the best at what they do and that certainly proved true.Julian has come back to my home several times to adjust the humidity and other settings on the Infinity thermostat and further explain the capabilities of the system. I highly recommend Energy Air for your HVAC needs if you want something more than to merely be sold equipment.

I had the pleasure of working with Steven H today as he replaced the bad part in my a/c unit. Not only was he on time but very professional as well. He showed me the part he was replacing and explained to me that the most likely cause resulting in the malfunction of the part was electrical. He provided some advice on keeping the filter clean as well as other hints to avoid future issues. Stevens personality and customer service skills were so refreshing compared to the many other companies that do not provide any customer service to the clients.
