Used them previously twice before and was great. Unfortunately this past service I will never them again. Had a clear leak in the evaporator coil and asked the technician if it’s worth putting in coolant based on the severity of the leak. He explained he was not sure (the reason I called him out). He then added refrigerant to our system, which lasted only 24 hours and come to find out was pretty dangerous and not approved by the EPA. Called back and told the lady the issue I had over the previous service and she said he added refrigerant, which is “environmentally safe.” All in all, waste of a lot of money and put my family at risk and they showed no remorse.

Bob Heinmiller is the best! They installed our HVAC system 11 years ago and we use them exclusively for service and repair. Their technicians are well trained, polite, on time, know exactly what they are doing, and provide a lot of confidence. We trust them explicitly. Our system is complex, serving a large one floor rancher with a lot of duct work, and with the air handler in the attic. It is not a cookie cutter setup. They did a super job installing the system in 2009, after a totally botched experience with another local HVAC company, and we have been very happy with them since them. They seem to specialize in older homes, of which ours is a great example. I recommend Bob Heinmiller highly. Their front office is also super. Very professional, courteous, and they get right on to a service request. A++

Called this company based on high reviews and have been very disappointed thus far. The call center has a staff of rather arrogant ladies that speak to you as if they were indifferent toward your business. I was please with the response time and the timely arrival of the technician. However less than a month after the repair they were back again. They did not charge me to return, thank goodness because the service call is $185. Just this week the tech charged me a $185 service call the adjust the thermostat in the guest bedroom, only to have that thermostat break three days later! HUMMMMMMM??

Just got a new generator installed and I couldnt be happier with the service in received. Bob Heinmillers personnel we impressive across the board. They do every element on the installation themselves no vendors used. They under promised and over delivered. If they say they are going to do something they do it, that is rare. You wont be sorry if you use BH AC.

Bob Heinmiller did an excellent job from start to finish. The estimator was great to work with and had a wonderful attitude and was funny as well. He stood behind the estimate even though they upgraded one of the parts due to not being able to procure the original part. His crew came in and had to disassemble the unit in order to get it in our attic and had it all up and running before the end of the day. I would highly recommend Bob Heinmiller!!!!

Excellent company. I had them installed Solar panels onto my house. The solar system is working great. I did a lot of research and found the bigger companies were not the best value. I listened to all the sales pitch. Heinmiller the Solar Guy Manager Mike Lane was the most technical and honest. Got 5 quotes and Heinmiller was the best. I received top on the line LG panels and Solar Edge inverter. Very satisfied. Highly recommend.

Called multiple AC repair shops. 1 was horrible service, another refused to come unless we paid another diagnosis fee, another came and overcharged to fix 1 part.Bob Heinmiller didnt charge a diagnosis fee which was awesome. I still cant believe how smooth and painless it was to finally replace two really old AC units. Great place to install a Generac Generator AND have it serviced by them! We’ve had our generator for a year now... Joe was out last week for the yearly service which went great. Mark Derringer originally sold us the product and was very good at explaining everything! You’ll be very happy with their entire group!!!

We have been with Heinmiller for more than 20 years, as has been our son. We have always been very satisfied with their service and with their technicians. They are here when they say they will be. Our technician is Kenny and he is terrific. He does a great job and always cleans up after the job is done. The people in the office are very nice and helpful. We will always keep Heinmiller. It is hard nowadays to find wonderful companies. When you find a gem you had better hang on to it.

Patrick, the estimator, was my first in-person contact and frankly, it was his thoroughness in checking out my dysfunctional AC, knowledge of all things AC, eagerness to explain in detail my options and 5-star follow-through. Also, I didnt expect him to show up the day Michael and Nick did, the installers, but he was there and walked them through all that was to be done. I got two other quotes, but Patricks quote was considerably lower than another 5-star AC company for the exact Carrier system, including a new smart home thermostat that I LOVE! The installers were super competent, answered my questions happily, cleaned up every little scrap and left me in sheer bliss with a new ice cold system. My two thick-furred dogs and I had been suffering for five days with no air. All three of us send our heartiest thanks to Patrick, Michael and Nick for putting us back into a good mood and letting us sleep again. This is the second time Ive used Bob Heinmiller. My experience both times certainly means theyll always get the first call should I need help again. Also, all three men had excellent senses of humor. I, personally, always appreciate that.

Needed a new ac unit and inside redone. Called around to get quotes and they had the best price and service warranty. They had 2 techs come to my house that next morning to install the unit. They were on time very polite and efficient. Didnt mind my children asking them questions from time to time and my dogs running around there job site. The two men who installed our new system Michael and Levi both interacted with my children and taught them a few things about the ac unit, got the job done before said time. After a severe lightning storm disabled our 18 year-old ac, Heinmiller arrived the next morning, gave us a reasonable and responsive evaluation, and proposed a solution of a new unit. The price was a sticker shock, but justifiable and they were able to replace the entire outdoor and indoor equipment, including a new all-singing all-dancing thermostat, within hours. Patrick, our rep, even took care of permits and rebates. The equipment is amazing, works so much better than the previous unit ever did, and I expect our electric bill to be considerably lower. Great service and helpful people. (PS, if you happen to have a problem with your ac after lightning, call your insurance company. Just saying.)

My husband had been 3 days out of surgery and the a/c quit putting out cold air. I called my regular company to come out and they said they were closed for 30 days. No concern over our situation and no referral to another company. I call this company and they were right on it and got someone here within 2 hours. The gentleman, KC, was right on top of it and got it fixed right away for us. He was kind, knowlegeable and professional. We wont deal with another company after this experience. I needed a company to install a new AC unit and air handler for a flip house. I called several places around Orlando and Bob Heinmiller was the most responsive and presented a professional and complete quote.They scheduled the installation very quickly and showed up when promised. We needed to upgrade our 18 year old system and interviewed a couple of companies. Went with Bob Heinmiller because the salesman (who also has been a technician) understood what issues we were trying to address (both with a/c and dehumidification) and had good recommendations. Price was also very competitive. The installers, Levi and Mike, were fantastic - very competent, professional, clean, seamless installation. (Another plus is that their techs have been with the company for many years which is a good sign) . We had a follow-up issue and they came right out and addressed that as well. In addition, dealing with Joyce and Melanie in the office was very pleasant as they did all the paperwork to ensure the product warranties were taken care of as well as some available rebates.Very happy with the company and the product and have confidence they will be in business in the event there are any warranty issues over the years.

The tech, Mike, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and got the repair done before dark so that we would not be without power all weekend. My family bought this house I live in in 1956. It wasnt until the middle 1960s we got A/C and we bought it from Bob Heinmiller. I can remember even now, and I was only ten years old when we got our first one, how wonderful it was. Bob Heinmillers has taken care of that A/C unit and all the other ones we have had over the years. I bought the newest one just a few years ago. Kenny, the technician who came out and did the tune-up this week is outstanding. Besides being a true gentleman his work was outstanding. You can always trust Bob Heinmillers to do the right thing by your A/C. The price is also right. I called out another A/C company a few years ago just to try someone new. I will never do that again. We make sure everyone is certified to work on the equipment and has all proper certifications or schooling for the work that they do perform.Our boss is very involved in the work and jobs we do. He is here and present at the office everyday to be available to us and the customers. GREAT SERVICE!! Service technician Dominick came to our house, and I was extremely impressed with his knowledge. Dominick figured out the lightning strike that hit our AC had back fed into the electrical box because of improper grounding. He then examined everything and explained what he was doing as he worked. He also encouraged me to ask questions if I didn’t understand anything. Dominick is conscientious, patient and it is a privilege to have such an intelligent, well-school, polite electrician working for us. Getting a whole house generator was pretty intimidating and after researching other companies we decided on Bob Heinmiller. Basic reason because of the people, communication and everything needed for the generator was included in the price, whereas other companies you have to find your propane dealer. Our salesman, Mark, provided us with all the info necessary to make a decision. Melanie and Angel were great communicators when I didnt understand something about inspections - always answered the phone (no leave a message) with a smile. The installers Mike, Robin, Austin, and Danny showed up on time installation day and went right to work diggin ditches, laying pipes and working with electrical hookups. There was no wasted time - any questions were answered by the crew plus they were fun to work with. I would say this company does the best and then some. They truly want a happy and satisfied customer.

Contracted Heinmiller to install an 8KW solar system. Got quotes from all the majors and liked Mike the best. Went with my gut and the lowest price by far and glad I did. My neighbor contracted with one of the big boys, paid a lot more and is still waiting on the install. I’ve been up for two months. Install was actually done by Mike and team, he knows what he’s doing. Actually had a lightening strike. He noticed that the system needed to reset and let me know before I even noticed. Next day. Walked me through the reset. These guys are great and you can’t beat the price. Oh and this is my first Google Review....ever.

I had a new ac system installed last November, 2018. Bob Heinmiller Air Conditioning, Inc. did a very professional installation. They were courteous, clean, and did a wonderful job installing the unit. I was pleasantly surprised how much I am saving over the old unit because this unit has a dehumidifying component that is very efficient! I couldnt be happier that I went with Bob Heinmiller to do this job!

Mark Derringer came to my house to give me a quote for a new AC unit. He was patient, thorough, and not a typical pushy salesman. After getting quotes from a couple of other companies, I called Mark and requested if he could reduce his quote to match that of his competitors. Not only did Mark reduce his quote, he lowered it by almost $500 from the nearest competitor. I signed the contract and his crew was at my house the next business day, promptly at the time that was given to me. They were professional, thorough, polite, and extremely efficient in their work. Mark Derringer came out and gave us a quote on 2 generator options, the 16 kw and the 22 kw. He did not try to up sale us on anything. It was a one phone call operation. He took care of everything from permitting, generator installation and hookup, propane tanks installations, hookup and filling, and final operation. He kept us up to date on every step through the process. His all in one pricing beat the big box stores prices hands down. I highly recommend them

Doug came out gave us a quote and without getting a confirmation that we would be using his services he offered to bring us a blower to blow out cold air to get us through the weekend. Adding to this previous post. We now had a brand new unit installed and we could not be more happy with the time frame and service we have received. Its been about 3 weeks since it was put in and its working like a dream. We recommend them for all AC needs.(older post) We have been using Bob Heinmiller for many years, we also have our unit serviced 2 times a year for basic check up and the occasional wear and tear maintenance for our 10 year old unit. I work in customer service and this company is great!!! yes there are times they dont meet the time frame (busy or jobs go longer than they thought) but they call and show up as soon as they can. AWESOME SERVICE. I came home from work a few days ago after being in the 95 degree heat all day to my house that felt like 130 degrees. We called Bob Heinmiller after business hours, left a message and within minutes we got a call from the dispatcher Stephanie who was on call. So sweet and helpful. Treated me like we were old friends. She assured me that she would get a tech out to our house as soon as possible. Will the tech was working on our system 30 min after making the call. The whole thing took about an hour and a half from the time we called. Very helpful and knowledgeable and gave us a fair price. We will definitely be calling them in the future!!!!!

My family’s air conditioner went out and it appeared that it was going to be an out of warranty issue. Melanie and the folks at Heinmiller went above and beyond to get us a credit for the cost of the repair even though they had no obligation to do so. This is the kind of old school customer service that creates customers for life and I am grateful to have them in town.

Mike was awesome and I would highly recommend him to anyone! We had our solar panels on our roof to heat our pool replaced this year and are very happy with the quality of service, response as well as all explanations along the way. We have a relatively new central heat and air system in our home. We had a problem with it after hurricane Irma. Since the company that did the install is no longer in business we had to find someone to come and service the unit under warranty. We found Bob Heinmiller to have the best reviews so we called them and spoke to Melanie. She was courteous, kind and understanding. She sent out a technician and our problem was resolved. We recently had a problem with the heat portion of this relatively new system. Once again, we called and spoke to Melanie, she sent out Kenny and parts are on order to get us back on track. They helped us file all the relevant paperwork in a timely manner with the Orlando Utility Commission and had the interconnections completed when we needed it most. When the system was turned on the first time, the technician helped us understand the remote monitoring, warranty and extended warranty and download the mobile application so that we could see the daily production values for ourselves.

Dante discovered a great deal of sludge and water leaking in my unit. He worked until 7 pm to get things band-aided, then came right back out the next day and did a very thorough and details fix on my AC system. I needed a new AC unit to replace the one Bob Heinmiller installed 20 + years ago. I called them again, and Melanie the incredibly wonderful voice on the other end of the phone and busiest Air conditioning traffic controller sent mark out to estimate both that and a new Generac whole house generator system He was out there the next day, and gave reasonable quotes on both systems So I okayed them both. two days later she sent me Levi and Austin who demolished the old unit including piping thermostat and wiring relined the plenum chamber sealed the entire system and installed the whole new system in just 6 hours. and left the place immaculate. I heartily recommend all involved. heres to another 20 years of outstanding performance my friends. Cant wait to review the Generac installation.

My AC unit was not working so I called Bob Heinmiller and they sent a uniformed tech out to my house within two hours and repaired my unit in about an hour without trying to up sell me. There flat rate pricing gave me piece of mind. I will definitely use them again.

I paid over $5,000 in 2011 for a brand new Carrier System, and have had ongoing problems ever since. They are soaking me, and I get nothing but a runaround, and no solutions. The most recent problem is similar to all prior calls...system not cooling, but they find a different little part to replace each time. All parts are supposed to be under the 10 year warranty, but they invariably have charged $139 on three separate visits for parts, in addition to the outrageous labor cost. I have made many calls to speak to the service manager, and he has only responded to one call. At that point he agreed that the parts are under warranty, but he needs to talk with someone else about giving me a credit. I was assured the most recent repair would be free of any charges, since the problem was not corrected on a prior visit. But the serviceman again invoiced me for another $139. Several calls to the office about this charge, are still unresolved. Run away from this company!!From Bob Heinmillers response, it seems the PARTS charges on each invoice is actually a second LABOR charge for each visit. Thats $115 diagnostic labor plus $139 parts installation labor (which on last visit took less that 15 minutes. That equates to $556/hr installation labor on top of $115 diagnostic labor. I have found another company that is much more reasonable, and more transparent on their invoicing.

The customer service... Where do I begin.... Its the middle of summer and 90 degrees... We scheduled at 7 am, they said they would be here from 3-5 pm. I rushed to get my daughter early from school just to be here for them. I waited, waited, and waited.. It got up to 86 degrees and my husband calls and the woman says, our tech is behind and its after hours. Dont worry, Ill wave the after hours charge. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? A heads up that you were late would be nice, an apology would be great. 6:20 and the tech arrives. The only good part of this experience was him. Hes been with the company for 3 weeks and I cant give him enough praise. He had the system back up and running in no time. He was apologetic, respectful, worked in a timely matter. Hes too good to have to work for such awful customer service people. Id recommend him but Id recommend them hiring new customer service reps.

I felt severely overcharged.I think a flat $148 diagnostic charge is out of line. I had a heat pump issue - bad run capacitor replaced. The technician spent 10 seconds diagnosing the bad part, less than 5 minutes replacing it, and maybe 3 minutes checking amps and pressure after replacing the part.Even worse was the $213 charge for the $40 part (found exact same one on-line for less than $40, w/shipping!). Thats a 433% markup - how do they justify that! 10, 15 or even 20% I could understand. And I think they had already made more than a reasonable profit on the diagnostic charge alone.This is the first and last time I will use this company for any service.Update - after the fact, I was given an $80 refund on the charge of the replacement part, which cut the markup in half to just 233%...

I have been using Bob Heinmiller to service my existing AC system for the past 5-6 years. They have done basic maintenance like recharging as well as more major parts repair on my air handler. My system was 10+ years old and I got an estimate from them back in November when Mark came out to give me a price for a completely upgraded system as well as some additional duct work to add some returns in 4 bedrooms. I had the work done in early March. The two gentlemen that came to do the work were very detail oriented and had the new system installed in less than a day and the duct work completed the next day in about 4 hours. They were very detail oriented and did great work. The system was exactly what I needed for my house (old unit was undersized for my square footage) and I could not be more pleased with my decision to use this company Overall, the job I paid for was very price competitive to other estimates I had and the quality of work was far superior to the last 2-3 AC companies that I have dealt with in the past.
