The staff has been helpful in explaining options to me, as well as making sure I understand my procedures. Its been a huge headache, and the root canal hurt, but the staff did everything they could to make it more comfortable for me.

Ive hopped around to several dentists and Ive stayed with Dr. Sachs for a few years now. Ive had fillings and a crown done in addition to cleanings and he does great work. In addition, hes honest. Ive found that dentists can be like car mechanics where theyll over-diagnose to get your money--theyll fill the tiniest dimple of a filling. Dr. Sachs will just watch it to see if it gets bigger and actually needs to be filled. Friendly and competent hygienists and front desk staff. They also have a great incentive program for new patients--a $50 Costco or Amazon gift card. I totally recommend.

In my 20 something years, this is the first time I didnt hate going to the dentist! I felt like they were much more thorough than my other dentists and hygienists. They actually tried to show and teach me about what was wrong and where I could improve. They were clean and sanitary with the COVID stuff too. Unless they paralyze my face at my next appointment, the 5 stars are here to stay.

My family and I just went to Sachs for the first time yesterday, and we loved it! My husband hasn’t been to a dentist in at least 6 years....so he obviously needed some work done, but they were very helpful and informative and did a great job on his teeth. The hygienist was very thorough and nice. We brought my 2 year old daughter to have her teeth looked at as well. With this being her first time at the dentist, they did an amazing job of making it fun and cool and now she loves the dentist! Would highly recommend!

I hate going to the dentist but coming here is actually a very pleasant experience. Due to some neglect on my end, I was required to get a root canal. I was terrified. When I was in high school, a kid in my town had to get a root canal and actually passed away due to an infection after the procedure. So, it kind of left this traumatizing fear of root canals. The day of, I was so nervous that I didn’t hold back from letting staff now. My dental assistant, Noelia, was so nice and comforting towards me that she made sure many times that I was as relaxed as possible before they got started. The entire procedure was painless. I didn’t feel a single thing. It was quick as well. I was told it would be about 3 hours and it was really closer to 2. It’s been a week now since my root canal and I’ve yet to feel any pain. In fact, I keep thinking it’s gonna hit any day now but so far nothing! Dr Sachs made this terrifying experience into something so pleasant and comfortable. Now, I hope to avoid any future root canals but if I had to, I’d definitely come here again. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks!!

Honestly one of the best dental experiences. I hate going to the dentist cause I have sensitive teeth and they are the first ones that offered doing a topical numbing during the cleaning to help with the discomfort.

Overall a good experience! The staff was friendly, and Jessica was great at keeping the conversation going in a natural manner. Dr. Sachs was quick, but I could tell that he was paying attention to the detail of my previous fillings and knew what he was talking about. He definitely didnt seem overly-liberal with this recommendations for work I should have done, which makes me trust him more than other dentists Ive gone to.

Good: Super flexible and something that is great is that they text you (which is great by itself) back quickly.Bad: Before getting work done, I had no pain and now, its been 4 weeks and I STILL have so much mouth pain.Undetermined: After being to the dentist 6 months earlier with no problems, I had a bunch of cavities. Then coming to Sachs, they informed me that my past dentists didnt do work correctly. Trying to decide if that is accurate and he is just a perfectionist or just a cover to get more money.

Going to Sachs Family Dental has been my most pleasant experience at a dental office. Dr Sachs has helped me understand my treatment and why I should get it done. He showed me with a mirror and in my xrays and it was the most educated I ever felt at a dental office. BUT I was absolutely terrified broke down in tears and did not want to be there. And my nurse Jessica was the BIGGEST SWEETHEART!😭 god bless her soul! I couldn’t have had a better experience without her! She put me at ease, was extremely kind to me, and took care of my every need! This dental office is where you need to be! No doubt! No question! Ive been coming here for a couple years now. We moved out of Orem but still make the drive to come out here because weve had such great experiences. Ive had a lot of work done and I feel like its been the best dental work. The whole crew here is easy to work with and very kind. Even though its kind of a drive Ill still come here because I trust them. Highly recommended.

UPDATE: I decided to get veneers earlier this year and chose to go with the only Dr I trust with my teeth (Dr Sachs). I am so happy with my decision and have never felt so confident with my smile. Dr. Sachs and his staff are amazing! I have been seeing Sachs Family Dental for 6 years. Each visit has been treated fairly and thoroughly. I have had cleanings and other procedures done. Dr. Sachs cares about his patients health and is very concerned about making sure nothing is left undone or is overlooked. The procedures are done as painlessly as possible. If youre looking for a dentist who will do an excellent job while making you feel valued, I highly recommend trying Sachs Family Dental.

Please be cautious if youre thinking about going to Dr. Sachs. He does great quality work, but he has some dishonest practices. I came to him knowing that I would need work done, but at my first appointment, he showed that I would need $1000s of work done. We were poor college students, so we asked about a discount for paying in full or what we could do to make some arrangements and he just laughed, brushed it off, and said he doesnt know anything about the pricing in his business.I went to another dentist for a second opinion and brought the x-rays from Dr. Sachs and he noticed that the contrast was turned up extremely high on the images so more imperfections were showing up than normal. Based off the other dentists evaluation, I needed about half of the work done. He didnt know why Dr. Sachs would quote so much unnecessary work. I was able to have most of the work done by the other dentist, but had to go back to Dr. Sachs for the crown that I needed done. When Dr. Sachs was evaluating my teeth, he noticed that the work he previously mentioned that needed to be done, had already been done and said These fillings look great! I did a really great job on them! We must have just forgotten to update them on your records. I thought it was hilarious because he was taking credit for the other dentists work when I knew the truth.All in all, his employees are friendly, his office is nice, and does good quality work, but he is not friendly, he is dishonest, and cares more about the profit he can make from his clients more than their actual needs.

Im really prone to cavities despite my flossing and brushing everyday. The dental hygienist was really nice and gave me suggestions such as using an electric toothbrush and focusing on certain teeth. I also had to get a dental crown. I got to watch a movie since they have TVs mounted on the ceiling. The novocaine shots barely hurt because Dr. Sachs was really skilled. They also gave me Vaseline for my lips, so they wouldnt tear. Overall, it was as pleasant as a trip to the dentist can be!

Ive been going to them for almost a year and have been so happy to find Dr. Sachs and his team. They have done more to encourage me to take better care of my teeth than my former dentist. They do a great job balancing encouragement to keep up good practices (or even start them) while not making you feel dumb for not taking better care of your teeth (like me). I’ve been coming to Sachs family dental for a couple of years now; since I moved from San Diego. I remember when I first came in they had a question on their patient sheet that asked, “how do you feel about your teeth?” to which I responded “I have nightmares...” I literally would dream of my teeth falling and that’s what lead me to start seeking dental attention when I moved to Provo. The staff is amazing, they always answer any billing questions, are prompt working around your schedule, and are always friendly and talkative so they make you feel really comfortable. Dr. Sachs is awesome, he’s professional, friendly, and always knows exactly what treatment is required and executes it flawlessly. I’ve never felt so comfortable in a dental office before and I always recommend any of my friends and family when they’re looking to get any kind of dental work done. To put it simply, I love it here.

After a lot of research we chose Sach’s as our dentist! First-timers receive a gift card, and there is a TV to watch in the room. We loved their new technology that made the cleaning process so much quicker and less painful. Also, when offering a service, they always tell you if it is covered by insurance or not BEFORE they do it :)

I have had nearly perfect teeth my whole life. Ive seen similar complaints against him and am convinced he is selective with who he victimizes. In my case I was a poor student with a Care Credit card and pride myself on paying off debt. Root canal after root canal happened. I didnt really question it until it just kept happening despite using the most expensive toothbrush and $15 tubes of prescription toothpaste. After being told I needed a 5th root canal from Dr. Sachs I called him on it, respectfully but very frustrated. He was speechless and red as a beet and inspired anything but confidence. Im convinced the x-rays of a root canals he showed me did not even belong to my teeth. I was obviously way too trusting to allow the charade to continue as long as it did. With my new dentist I continue to have not so much as a cavity at every cleaning. Beware.
