I just genuinely feel like they do the best job on my nails every time I go! The staff is amazing and I always walk out happy with everything. No many places like that in orange park. I dont ever do crazy nail art so if youre looking for that im not sure how good they are but if you want beautiful clean nails this is my go to. They do get very busy! And the place could use a deep clean but i love this place.

I am going to give the salon an overall 5 stars because every worker is so polite and they are very transparent on if you walk in and wait. I also have fantastic pedicures and my eyebrows are also perfect. I had returned to the salon like I typically do on Saturdays for my fill in. My requests are always very simple. I have medium length nails and NEVER have a problem getting a skinny square but was told this time I had to trim my length, I said that was fine. BUT my nails are way shorter than just a trim and my gel polish is already peeling off. When I got home I noticed fuzz all over them and my whole middle finger polish is gone. It is very unfortunate to pay $36 for a fill and have to already have them redone.

I’ve been going to Evan every two weeks for a year now and I have to say I have never had a bad experience! My nails are always perfect and just the way I like them! He is super creative and keeps up with the latest design trends! The environment here is great and you can tell the techs have a good time at work! Everyone is very friendly! Would 10000% highly recommend Zen Nail Spa and Evan if you are looking for a nail salon!

Never disappoints! Walked in today no wait for me and my daughter. I requested someone who was good with nail art, receptionist knew exactly who to put me with. Everyone was kind and tended to our needs. Thank you for the perfect mommy daughter date Zen Nail Spa.

Depends on who you get though. Some take more patience and do it right. Some rush and you end up with a crooked nail. All seem to be nice, but I only speak and understand English too.

All these people complaining about the wait, such a shame. Yes it may be a long wait sometimes, MOST DEFINITELY worth the wait. I REFUSE to go anywhere else. They do the best work I have EVER come across. NO ONE WANTS TO WORK ANYWHERE right now, causing business to have less employees. Has anyone that is complaining about the wait, thought maybe they are short staffed???.I would rather wait hours for good quality nail work. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU ALL AT ZEN NAILS. I had been to this salon twice. The first time I only got a pedicure, and they did a great job, no complaints. The second time I went for a pedicure and a full set.... The pedicure again was great however Mike did my full set and I cannot stress enough how much of a bad quality job he did. He applied my tips crooked then stated it was my nail shaped that way which my natural nail was not crooked when I came in. He left acrylic so far away from my cuticle by the time it was done and applied it actually looked like they have grown out for a few days although they were brand new, and when he applied my gel polish he didnt add polish to the sides of the nail leaving them white. I asked him to put it on the entirety of the nail and he did not and just buffed the sides with a file! I was already sick and tired of arguing with him and especially due to the long wait I had to do to even get seated in his chair, and I saw it was pointless to argue because the girl sat next to me was getting an ombre full set and her tech said to the girl you needed to tell me you wanted white on your nails when obviously that is part of an ombre and shouldnt have to be stated. Anyways then a few days later I went to soak off my nails at a different salon and found out the acrylic that they used on me at zen nails was MMA and they damaged my natural nail!! Horrible horrible horrible!!!!! I refuse to ever go here again and warn everyone against it.... If you go, only go for the pedicure. A total waste of time and money!

Always a good place to get your nails done. Every one is so professional and nice to you. They go out of their way to make sure that you are well taken care of.

After moving to Florida 2 years ago I tried numerous nail salons and was NEVER happy UNTIL I found Zen Nail Spa. My 1st time there was almost a year ago and let me tell you that I will NEVER go anywhere else again. They are always so polite and willing to please. No matter what kind of nail design I ask for they always come out amazing!! I have heard about some clients being upset about the time and being behind but hat happens in most businesses. Things happen that are sometimes out of their control (Have you been to a doctors office lately you ALWAYS wait way longer then needed or even restaurants with a reservation). Have you thought about why they are so busy and why you are having to wait? They are not ignoring you they are just that AWESOME!! I love this place and also the nail stylist because she is AMAZING!!!

My dip is lumpy and my and my polish change looks terrible. I have gel polish all around my cuticle and his excuse was that I have darker skin so it’s impossible to get it perfect. Completely unprofessional.

If you’re considering any other store, STOP! This salon is the true gem of North Florida! Amazing staff, very sanitary, everyone is so friendly and they really treat you like family while you’re there! No matter what design I’ve asked for, they’ve done it perfectly! Pedicures are so soothing and worth every penny! Take the time and treat your self!!

For one the waiting room is literally a good 5 chairs, and they’re typically always busy so you can sit inside. you leave your number on the pad because you’re either sitting outside or in your car and they don’t even use your number! I never received the call. I just sat outside of the establishment for 45 minutes, even when I came in they couldn’t tell me how long it would be. 2/10. Wouldn’t recommend

Even though we came in a while before the others, the people who came after us also doing a walk in for the exact same thing as us got service first. We waited for over 30 minutes and each time they passed us by and never served us. We checked in and everything so the lack of communication and professionalism is just uncanny.

Yen is great. She did a great job on my nails & is good with eyebrows. I don’t like how no prices are discussed and are not up to be seen. So they make it up as they go. Took 2.5 hours for a full set (regular length) and a polish change on toes. ($75). Is it worth the money, probably not and wouldn’t do it again. But, my nails are cute

The people in the salon are very nice. However everything is to close together and there are to many people in the shop (workers and customers). Because they are always so crowded I always make an appointment. I normally dont write reviews but today I guess I just had enough. Ive been coming to this shop for a few years now. I have previously made an appointments, however when I arrive Im asked if I can wait 15 min because someone else is with the person I made the appointment with. That 15 min always turns into 20 or 30 minutes. They apologize and keep it moving. Today I had an appointment and was called to see if I could come in early. I told the receptionist no, because I am coming from work at lunch time and its a 30 minute drive from my office. I arrived at my scheduled time and the nail tech that I had the appointment with was working on someone else and I was asked if I could wait 15 minutes. I said, no. I was already annoyed because you knew I was coming because you just spoke with me 1 hour ago. I asked if someone else could see me because I had to get back to work. 20 minutes later Im sitting in someone elses chair. However the person that was supposed to do my nails didnt get finished with the person she was serving until 30 minutes later. She apologized, however it is unexceptable. I expect to wait when I dont have an appointment, but I should NOT have to wait with an appointment and you called to confirm. Thats the point of the appointment. Because this has happened a few times before I wont be back. Im not satisfied with the service that was done either. It was sloppy! Because it took them so long to get to me I had to get something done that I didnt want because I was in a hurry to get back to work. Like I said, the people are nice but they dont stick to their appointments, and thats a part of good customer services.

Consistent Excellence!!! I bring my 11 year old daughter here to get her nails done. The shop is a bit of a drive for me but I havent found another nail shop with such consistent quality, so I drive. It doesnt matter who does her nails the quality is always the same, GREAT! I suggest making an appointment if you decide to go. Hands down this nail shop is the best Ive experienced so far.

Zen nails used to be good but has gone down hill. One employee - a young man in the #4 seat - does a particularly shoddy job. Walk-in clients seem to be assigned to him. Hes done my nails twice and Im very underwhelmed. Both times, hes seemed rushed and very disinterested in his job. I will not be returning.

I always love going to them. They have never let me down when it came to all the designs I wanted too.

I went to Zen Nails today and I am new in the area and all I had to go by were the reviews I had read. I was absolutely thrilled with the service I received from Yen. She put on the best set of gel nails I have ever had. I highly recommend their shop. Nice relaxing music plays in the background and I dont think youll be disappointed! Please give them a try🙂

I went in today for the first time and I wasnt disappointed at all. I recommend making an appointment during the week or if it is on a Sunday go right when they open because they dont take appointments on Sunday. Otherwise, youll be put on a very long wait list. My tech was very nice and did a great job with my gel manicure. I will definitely be returning.

Best customer service experience ever in a nail shop. They do awesome work, give great massages, the Technicians are kind and they dont get upset with you and start speaking negatively in their native tongue. The only reason I cant give 5 stars is because their Gel polish is too expensive! Its $15 for gel on top of your service. When you consider the fact that the whole bottle of polish doesnt cost that much, there is plenty of room for a price reduction...especially when other area shops either dont charge extra for gel or its only $5.

Bad experience. The guy who did my nails was rushing... it was just a fill in and look how much space he didnt fill in. Also the shape wasnt all the same. I paid 45.00 plus 10.00 tip. This is not worth it

I wen to Zen Nails for a SNS full set. I have super short nails so I had tips added. When I called they let me know it would be a wait on Saturday for SNS. This was very helpful as I was able to instead make an appointment for the next Monday and avoid a long wait. Very nice and clean inside. Did not get a pedi but the pedi chairs seemed nice and clean. Pic 1 (pink color) was my first experience and it was amazing, lasted 4 weeks before my nails grew out too far and I broke 2 tips. Pic 2 (white glitter color) was my second experience, which I made closer to when they close (got there at 7, they close at 8) and I felt 1 or 2 nails look slightly crooked. Could be my short nails but could be due to over filing the tips on 1 side. $40 SNS full set from a professional salon, but they are busy so make an appointment if in a rush. Remember to tip your nail tech! 😉

Had an appointment at 4:30 and was seated at 5:00pm to soak my nails off. While my nails were soaking for 30 minutes the woman assisted 2 other people instead of working on me. My nails had soaked off long before 30 minutes. Full set was put on, one nail is completely crooked, the length was never compared to the other hand, nails are wavy and the shape is far from perfect. I have been getting my nails done for 20 years and to have a full set done, perfectly shaped and painted has never taken 15 minutes (extremely short amount of time). I was searching for a new home shop but this apparently is not it! Spent $50 and want to rip these off myself. I woke 60 plus hours a week and splurge on my nails, to work so much I come to spend money and relax, not leave in worse shape than I arrived in! Clean establishment though (hence the two stars). Will be finding another shop this week to fix them.

I moved to Florida two years ago and I went somewhere and hated my nails. I found zen nail spa and fell in love with my nails done by Ken. This spa is my go to. They are always busy but it’s worth the wait! Making an appointment helps. I got my ombré nails done by Mrs yen and loved them! Then I got my set of Christmas nails done by thao. She did an amazing job with the design I get compliments all the time.

The places is great and clean but I took 15 minutes for my polish to dry and when I had to leave 5 minutes later when I touched it it still gave me a finger print and my friends acrylics were curved and chipped the next day! But besides the polish issues not bad but the polish to me is a big deal so that’s why it’s a two star for me!

Ive only been once, but I had such an amazing experience I think Im going to keep going. Atmosphere was so soothing and relaxing. The person who did my nails was so gentle. Im in love with my nails and Ive been getting TONS of compliments on them as well. I highly recommend this place.

I feel as if race played a MAJOR ROLE I went in and was asked what services I needed after stating I was told to pick a color another person came in that was white after Me! They told me sit in the service chair only to sneak her to the pedicure station which was one of my services and tell me to wait! After asking what was thAt about. I was scowled at and ignored politely took my business to NY Nails who’s much more professional and welcoming’!

I have been coming here for awhile now and always leave happy but this last time I was beyond pleased with my nails. Best pink and white set so far. Tipped 50 just cause he did such an amazing job. Life long customer from here on out♥️

You don’t need a mask as a customer during the rising of cases during COVID season to be here. The tech are protected but not customer to customer. I didn’t see any in between sanitation of the station after each customer.

Love how they do my nails...but today I got a pedicure and the young lady cut me on my ankle while scraping the bottom of my feet. It was very painful. She then sprayed alcohol on it which caused it to sting even more. I will go back. But not for a pedicure.

I have been several times to this nail spa, but I went to get a pedi and mani which my daughters gifted me for my birthday and had a very disappointing treatment. I was extremely pressured to get gel—I don’t like gel because it tears up my nails— and so I guess after that, the attendant didn’t feel any need for quality service. The manicure was a joke. The girl had no idea how to give a good manicure. I went back in today to show the poor quality and was told it was because they weren’t gel. Excuse me? So no one got a good manicure before gel polish was popular? That’s ridiculous. They had someone else redo my nails and it was seriously worse than the first time. Neither time did the attendant bother to put an extra coat of topcoat on my nails. Do you think maybe that would help it last ? They just didn’t care because it wasn’t gel, and so they weren’t getting the extra $15 . Smh. I believe in quality service for every customer, but trust me, they don’t at Zen nail spa.

Clean and relaxing environment. Two complaints - waiting too long and several patrons were not asked to wear masks appropriately or at all. Plexiglass provided between you and the nail tech. However, not between customer to customer, unfortunately no social distancing.Went a second time and so much better! Customers were wearing masks (all except one) and service was AMAZING!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND for multiple reasons. After obsessively searching for the right place to take my elderly Mother for a pedicure, we were glad we found this place!!First, I worked for 7 years in an operating room where cleanliness is obviously one of the primary concerns. This place was so clean, surgery could be performed. I really appreciate the fact that the pedicure tubs are lined with disposable liners and every instrument came out of a sealed package. I was concerned about infection with my Mothers health, and seeing how they only used new single use or sterilized items was fantastic!Second, Ken, the nail technician that took care of my Mother did an amazing job. He was very thorough yet gentle and compassionate to her needs. She has recovered from a severe wound to her lower leg and he was very accommodating. Her toes and feet looking absolutely incredible, and admittedly they were pretty bad when she arrived.This is the exact type of business that deserves to succeed. Cleanliness, customer service, competitive prices, all add up to an amazing experience!! Thank you so much, Zen Nails!!

I had a bad experience the first time nail salons opened back up. Took 3 hours. And just ugh. I decided never to go back there and made an apt. Here and was very nice! Get there and Very clean. Relaxing. Lynn was great! Gel polish on toes and fill in with Gel polish.. she fixed my ganked up looking coffin style and are beautiful square. Will definitely see her again. Next time = Pedicure!! Lol pricing is great too.

My mother and I had an appointment for 2:30pm. We’ll we waited much longer then I would’ve expected. My moms toes weren’t started until 45 minutes into waiting and I wasn’t helped for another 15 minutes. The poor woman that came in after us with a 3pm appointment had to wait 20 minutes before being sat in the pedi chair room they have. My toes look okay but the waiting was ridiculous. Won’t be returning.

It’s a good salon but the men in the shop rush and don’t focus on what they’re doing. I’ve been going to this shop for two years and all the women there do a great job but not the guys. They don’t pay attention to the work they’re doing and tend to be rough with your nails. Don’t go to the men there...you have been warned.
