I have had an undercut for the past year and I used to go in here to get it touched up every few months by getting the sides buzzed back down to a 1 1/2-2 depending on the weather. Last time I went in Sun buzzed my sides up too far on one side and I had to go into the person who originally did my undercut to get it realigned which cost me an extra 50$ that as a single mom, I didnt really have to spend but my hair looked absolutely horrid. It was uneven in multiple areas (It was all supposed to be at a 1 1/2 on the sides and it was not). Sun also kept trying to push a full haircut on me, even said she was having a bad day customer wise and got snotty with me when I only could afford to tip 15% (which I wouldnt have tipped at all if I was actually shown the damage to the back of my hair and not rushed after making it clear that I DID not want a full haircut, just my sides done) .Only giving them 3 stars because everyone else is wonderful and actually listens and doesnt try to push a full haircut on you every time you come in so that they can get more money, they also dont get mad when you cant afford to tip more than 15%.

Always enjoy my experience, the discount for product when I get a service is lovely and Maya always does a fantastic job.

I asked to cut all my hair short but not short enough to see scalp because I wanted to comb my hair up and over. She said “ok I’ll take a little off and we’ll go from there because I can’t put hair back”The first pass over my head I could see scalp and like she said there’s no putting hair back. Then she proceeded to not cut the sides of my hair the same shortness as the top of my hair.So currently I have the hair length I want but my sides are growing out too long.Plus it was kinda pricey.

Went there with my wife she left totally unhappy didnt get what she asked for seriously dont know why she even wanted 2 go thr because we have went thr in the past and were never happy so pretty safe 2 say we will never go back!!!!

I visit Maya every time I go here. Shes been my stylist for 4 years now. She friendly, funny, consistent, and thoughtful. She does excellent work. I highly, highly recommend her if you are looking for a stylist.

I had a wonderful experience today with Stella. She worked with me even though I didn’t know exactly what I wanted and helped my hair look beautiful and healthy again. She is so sweet and a great conversationalist! Looking forward to working with her again!

Went blonde! Amazingly patient stylist. I told her I get nervous and sometimes freak out with big hair changes. She walked me through the entire process and made sure I was okay before proceeding to the next step each time. She asked what my end plan was and made sure to match my color to what I wanted to do going forward. She made sure my hair was not damaged and gave me some ideas for product for aftercare. She also made sure to give me a timeline for the next steps. 10/10 will go again. Also great pricing. Very competitive with the other places I contacted.

This place is great, its the only place I trust to do my hair in town. They listen to what you want.

Tons of great outdoors clothing, shoes and all things you need for camping and hunting. Also stuff for hiking and boating. The General store has awesome chocolates. Be prepared to go to the gym after you see their chocolates...fun just to walk around and just look at things.

Wanted haircut at a 2 with clippers hair in the back was cut pretty high up and the top of my forehead there is a big section that wasnt cut and is longer than the rest of hair. Most experiences here have been great though just in this last case it was one of my worst haircut wise. Customer service wise she was one of the nicest hair stylists Ive met.

Alexandra Murphey styles me and my sisters hair, she is so amazing! I get nervous for haircuts, buts she always does a great job. My sister gets undercuts and she gets great designs. I get short boy cuts and she gives great cuts and recommends great products.

I showed exact photo reference of what I wanted from all different point of views and not only did the hairstylist cutting my hair cut it way above my ear, she didnt trim my undercut when I requested it be shorter when she asked for details on the cut. On top of that, when I asked if there was a possibility I could either get a refund or a different cut, I was met with very sarcastic remarks until the manager was brought out. I got my money back, but if anyone thinks wasting $20+ dollars on what should have been a slight trim, you should definitely check out a different location.

I got my bangs cut today here and the lady did an amazing job. I was scared and nervous to go here because it was my first time there and in the past hair stylists messed up on my bangs but Lyndsey did great I really recommend her! 😊 I’m totally coming here again

I wish I could give this negative 10!!! Got my hair cut here and Ill never go back. I asked for one inch to be cut off, she cut off four inches, I didnt want it all the same length,She made it all the same legth anyways and completely ignored my wishes. My hair is choppy, short, and overall a disaster. $24 + a tip, hair cut for something I DIDNT want done and absolutely hate. Very disappointed, and upset I no longer have my beautiful waist long hair- its now to my shoulders. I will never be going back to your salon for service again.

Ugh! Make sure to read the RECENT reviews on this place. I called to make an appointment for my son to get his haircut, and they told me that they do walk-ins and that there may be about a 20-ish minute wait when we get in. They didnt even mention that if they schedule appointments, so I pack up the kids and drive over. Once there, one of the stylists greet me, but the woman at the front desk says NOTHING. Not even eye contact for almost three minutes while I wait, awkwardly standing there waiting for her to acknowledge our presence. (Which is arguably hard to do with a six year old and a two year old. You know when were anywhere.) Finally she tells me itll be about 10-15 minutes to wait for a stylist, and that we could go and come back in about 15 minutes. I go wrangle the kids for 15 minutes out in the mall, which is no small feat with them, and then come back. I get greeted again, like they dont remember us at. all. Every stylist is with someone, even the people that walked in BEHIND us. Theres no one working the front desk, and after standing there again, quite awkwardly now - it becomes clear that everyone else has been helped and weve been skipped over. We leave, and no one says anything, because clearly they didnt want to help us in the first place. I called the Hair Masters across from the mall, and zip! We get in and out and all nice sparkling haircut in a matter of minutes. Lesson learned - there are WAY better places to get a hair cut, dont waste your time and money here.

This MasterCuts usually has a waiting line that feels like forever and the manager always has an I dont want to be here face. Some of the other barbers are nice, but that does not mean they are good at cutting mens hair. If youre looking for a nice fade, I would not recommend coming here.

I live in Eastern Washington, but try to get to Olympia when I need a haircut. Lindsey is the BEST! I love her haircuts and she is so sweet and attentive. Worth the trip!

Odd hassle and miscommunication over a simple haircut, and the stylist seemed unsure that she WAS the stylist. In the end, not nearly worth the $24 I spent there. Thats the price of a Fujiyama meal, folks.

Are you going to get a head massage and free tea? No. But youre paying less than $20 for a really good haircut and great conversation. Ive been coming to the Olympia Mastercuts for 8 years and have always been happy when i left.

My experience in this shop today was horrible. When I came to the desk I was told it would be 10 minutes till someone would be ready to cut my hair. While I waited for one of the 2 available hair cutters to finish with the customers they were working on, they seemed to keep putting off finishing with the client they were working with. I got the impression that each one was hoping the other would finish first so they would not have to be the one to cut my hair. 40 minutes later when a lady came in early to get settled in before her shift started, was grabbed, ordered to clock in early and told to cut my hair. I told her I only wanted a trim but since the other 2 girls made the lady cutting my hair get every phone call and customer who came to the desk, with all the interruptions she ended up cutting off 3+ inches of my hair, not the 1/2in trim I asked for. Also with all the constant interruptions what should have been a fairly quick hair cut took almost a half hour. The lady did try to do a good job but with the other girls being lazy and making her do everything else needed in the shop on top of trying to give me a hair cut I was very upset with the cut I got since it is much shorter then I wanted.

So my son and husband went and got there hair cut today. A simple fade husband looked good. My son on the other hand looks like the women had little to no experience. His hair is multiple different lengths and clearly the women could not accomidate his caolic his hair is terrible. I have been getting his hair cut sense he was 7 months old. This is the worst hair cut by far. Then my husband let me know that it was 40 dollars. Ahhhhh! That was one expensive hack job...... im sure she will get better with experience. I just couldnt believe a women of business would allow someone to leave looking the way he did and honestly charge him that much after messing up so badly.. go back to the dummy for awhile girl.

The lady that cut my hair was very nice but did not do a very good cut job I got my side shaved and it was a choppy job with the clippers, she missed a bunch of patches I didnt notice till later... dont think I would trust getting that haircut there again...
