Jung is a very kind & sweet woman. She has many years of experience so her prices are well worth it & affordable. She is very quick at cutting mens hair. My husband goes to her all the time & I love his cut every time!

A very good barbershop

Jung is awesome!! She doesn’t give a quick buzz using guides on trimmers- she uses a comb and her own eyes to be sure she’s getting every hair to the exact right length. It’s easy to tell she really takes pride in her haircuts and will not let you leave without the cut you wanted when you walked in.I brought my son to her because I was having trouble finding a good place that was open on Saturdays and not set up like an assembly line. We were in Olympia and I saw her open sign and only one car in the lot so we decided to give her a shot.I am so incredibly happy we did! My son’s hair was much longer than he likes it because it had been 3 months since he last got it cut (as I said, I was having trouble finding somewhere that was open on Saturdays).She didn’t cut it short enough the first go around, so she did the whole thing again, apologizing to us along the way. It wasn’t her fault- she had simply cut off what she thought was a single months’ growth.Anyhow, she happily made it shorter and also explained to my son that he needs to scrub his scalp and really take proper care of his hair (something I have been telling him forever).I just love her! We will definitely be back every month!

I love Jung. Honest to a fault. Great conversation and very amicable. I went in with 2 months of no trims and she let me know about it lol. She did a great job of cleaning up this old sasquatch and was very reasonably priced.

The lady is super nice. I just get my head shaved and the barber usually just rushes thru real fast. But this lady takes her time and does a really nice job. only negative is $18 is high for me for a #1 shave

So, the owner is absolutely hilarious. She gives a great haircut, and isnt afraid to speak her mind.

Jung is friendly and does a great job cutting men’s hair. Her shop has a local feel to it, and exudes a sense of individuality and custom, individual care.

I used to bounce around to different hair shops until I found Jung 3 years ago. Her price is great, and I always look and feel great when I leave Island Barber.

$20.00 is just too much for me with a short haicut.
