Was trying to get some pads replaced on my vehicle, this place tried to tell me that they charge 220 something dollars per axle. For pad replacement, how is this not gouging. My current pads are a little under 50% so I know the rotors are good. They said that they do it regardless of whether it needs it or not. I said thats ripping me off.

I took my 2009 Ford escape XLT to Bryans automotive for what we believed was a small electrical short. The mechanics ran a full inspection of the wiring and circuitry and actually found no issues! However, their highly skilled and experienced mechanics discovered a much larger problem with the vehicles transmission. This issue resulted in the car having an extremely difficult time shifting gears and getting up to speed on the road. Along with the difficulty of shifting gears, the overall damage caused to the transmission could very well render the car completely immobile and unsafe. Thanks to the expert diagnosis and timeliness of the technicians at Bryans automotive, I am not left stranded on the side of the road waiting for triple A.

I have used Bryan’s in the past and enjoyed their service. My vehicle broke down recently and I had it towed to their business. After evaluating it, they determined the starter was bad. Since the current starter had a lifetime warranty, I told them I would get a replacement starter and bring it to the to install. They refused to allow me to bring in a new starter and wanted me to pay for a new starter so they could get the markup on the starter. The place I bought the original starter from agreed to give me a new one, but Bryan’s wouldn’t allow that. They replaced a wire and I had it towed to another garage who gladly replaced my starter with a new one under warranty. It is unfortunate they Bryan’s is only out for the money and not customer service. No longer my or my family’s choice for automotive repair. Lost a lot of future business from my family, relatives, co-workers and friends.

You can tell these folks really care about their customers. They were honest about my car situation and didnt attempt to nickle and dime me just to make a profit, but more than that, they allowed me to store my vehicle there all week while I found somewhere to tow it, waving any charges. As a single mom on a rough week, this absolutely made all the difference. I will always bring my cars here!

I went in expecting my a/c had a simple problem. Everyone was really friendly and nice when I went in. It felt very comfortable. Though the news I got was an icy shock TJ had let me down gently and honestly about the situation. He gave me time to process and make a decision and be was willing to support whatever way I chose. Which meant getting a new car which I am promptly bringing to Bryans to get checked up on.

I had some issues with my transmission from my truck I recently purchased and thankfully Bryan’s is part of the repair pal network Carmax recommends. After finding the issue w/ the transmission they were able to point me in the right direction and course of action to remedy. You be hard pressed these days to find a business who works in the best interest of the customer. Thanks to Josh and co for the hospitality and great customer service, which is evident when you walk through the door. Greatly appreciated and now my preferred business to bring my vehicles to.

Had a brake inspection and oil change recently and the fluids in my car were not toped off causing me to think there was another reason my low brake fluid light was on, when we took the car home after to do a brake fluid flush ourselves we found the tire nuts were not torqued tight enough.The other problems I have are more just comparisons to other mechanics which instead of blame these guys for reasonable policy’s I will instead give good comments to the competitors on that page.Notedthat when I did rate low and leave. Bad comment before I was contacted by the manager and was allowed to air my grievances and the manager TJ was very professional an concerned about my problem. Because of this I will be continuing to use Bryan’s Automotive despite these issues

Trustworthy people, this is the first place in Washington I felt comfortable bringing someone of importance and leaving it for repair.I needed a fairly complicated part on my vehicle tuned and the job was completed the same day my appointment was scheduled.Would recommend.

I drive an older truck, to which I am emotionally attached. For me, taking my truck to the shop is like taking a pet to the vet. You could say I’m a regular at Bryan’s for that reason. I trust the team at Bryan’s to help me prioritize which services I’m most in need of to keep my truck alive. They’ve always done solid work, and at a great rate. Anyone you talk to there will know about your vehicle, because they are truly interested in “cars”. I won’t trust any of my vehicles to anyone else!

I was going to give this place 5 stars. The work was great, they took me in right away and finished my truck in about 2-3 days. Prices were reasonable. I didn’t quite catch his name at the front desk but he was extremely friendly. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because before I dropped off my truck I asked for my tires to be rotated and when I came to pick up my truck I asked again if they were rotated and he told me yes. They are not rotated. I wasn’t charged for it though so it’s fine but just a slight inconvenience. Will be coming back in the future for sure.

Honestly since moving to Washington 2 years ago the only place i get work done on my cars is Bryans, Josh and Tj and the entire staff here is always knowledgeable, patient and willing to help in anyway. Hell maybe im over doing it but these fellas are damn good at their Job!!

It was my first time taking my car to Bryans, and I have to say, I was more than pleased with the service there. Obviously we all get anxiety taking our car to the shop. Took my truck there because it would not start, even though i put in a new battery. They said nothing wrong with it. And recommended a tune up which i did for about 800.00!! within 2 weeks home, car did not start. Do not go here, unless you want to pay for nothing. should have minus score, not even a one.

Excellent service. Have used them 3 times now and have decided to make them my new regular mechanic. They installed an aftermarket cat-back exhaust, poly engine mount bushing, control arms, adjustable rear sway bar and endlinks on a Mini Cooper. They do good work.

We have been taking our cars to Bryans Automotive for over 20 years. One of my cars is 21 years old (with 300,000 miles now) and the main reason it is still purring along is Bryans prfossional work. We first started using Bryans after my wife visited there and told me you could eat off of the garage bay floors. If they took that kind of care of the workplace, then we knew they would take good care of our cars, and they have. They tell me only what needs to be done and do not push any unnecessary work. They have even diagnosed my car over the phone, told me what to look for and then how to fix it (leak in a vacuum hose). If they make a mistake, they own up to it and make it right.

Only place we trust with my 2004 ChevyMy truck hasnt needed too much work for its age, a couple mid size repairs and some things that probably fall more under body work than auto repair like replacing my tail light covers and the rubber trim around my windshield etcBrians is reasonably priced andaccommodating. They never make us feel like an inconvenience.What we appreciate most is they are very honest. My husbands not a mechanic but know enough to know whats wrong, so whenever we bring the Chevy in he tells them whats going on and asks them to give it a good look over.They have always been honest about what it needs and doesnt need.Thanks guys (not sure if theres any gal, but thanks if there is)

Customer Service that cant be beat. My car needed an ABS control module replaced, it took Bryans Auto two days to get the part in; sure the dealership could have got the part the same day but they couldnt schedule my car to be seen for two days so pretty much even there. The price was about what the dealership wanted as well. But quality concierge service and professional courtesy were top notch. Plus I believe the company is Veteran owner and has a military / law enforcement discount.

These guys went above and beyond for my car. They fixed it and topped my car off with fluids after they ordered it. The time it took was longer due to special order but I am very grateful for the friendly, amazing, and helpful work they did on my car. Definitely a lifesaver for me. Very appreciative 🤙🏼

Forward thinking-Tried to save the customer money by suggesting legitimate repairs, such as since you already have the labor to pull apart x, you may as well do y to save you on the labor because y is due for maintenance in 4K miles. Put new wipers on my car for free. Really like the give a ride service. Very convenient.Oh! I also forgot to mention that I first went to them for a 2nd opinion because the dealership told me I had a fuel leak. They were working on my car because of a recall. They wanted to charge me $800 to fix the leak. Turns out that one didnt exist! Thank you Bryans!

Last week I faced the lesser of 2 evils and tried to pass over a chunk of metal on I-5 Southbound (the other choice was to cause a major collision, since it was busy). It tore up the bottom of my car and my car limped into the Valvoline Instant Oil Change place off Marvin, so they could take a look. The helpful folks there recommended I have it towed to Bryan’s Automotive. They said a lot of their customers had very good experiences there.All the people I came in contact with at Bryan’s Automotive were very respectful, knowledgeable and kept me updated throughout. I soon had my car back running smoothly, minus the “angry-squirrel-noises”. I will certainly return to Bryan’s Automotive for future maintenance needs and will also recommend Bryan’s to friends and acquaintances :)

This place told me I needed a new motor when it was just my turbo that needed replaced.... Got a call from the owner ( new owner since I was last there ) and he was super nice and made up for what happened.

The staff is helpful and patient. The repairs needed for my car were thoroughly explained and I was able to make an informed decision on the work I wanted to have done.They went out of their way to fit the diagnosis of the problem with my car the same day I called! None of the other auto shops I called were even willing to discuss a way to diagnose the issues with my car at a convenient time for me.They are able to provide any and all care needed for my car and I will continue to take it to them for service and problems that might arise in the future.

I have trusted Bryans for many years, and they have never let me down. They are skilled, courteous and dedicated to quality service. Theyre just real good at doing their job, and I appreciate the work they do for me.

I have been taking my cars to Bryans Automotive for over six years. They are very trustworthy and will tell you if a service can wait, no pressure or fear tactics ever. The shop is spotless and the staff professional. Every job is explained and they have never gone over the estimated amount. I acutally heard them apologize to another customer for going over an estimate by $30.00, because they overlooked something in the original estimate. I would never take my car anywhere else. Since they are not open on the weekend, and I work outside of their shuttle range, I gladly take my vacation time off to get my car repaired here. A++++++ shop!!

Given some scheduling changes on my end, I had to reschedule a couple of times for A/C service. They were very accommodating to my schedule. The waiting room is very clean and comfortable. They diagnosed the problem, replaced a part and serviced the A/C and the total bill was only slightly more than a standard service for adding refrigerant.

Ive been bringing my vehicles to Bryans for years. I find them to be honest and reliable. There might be cheaper shops out there, but you get what you pay for and its important to have a mechanic I trust.

We have used Bryans Automotive since 1988 and have no intention of changing our automotive specialist. We have had great service throughout the years, and since the business was sold to a new owner quite some time ago. Bryans Automotive is our one and only source for automotive repair (and advice).

My only regret is that I live 2,600 miles away from Bryans. TL;DR - over three weeks they took great care of some major repairs that allowed me to get back home to western NY. I highly recommend them.I was visiting Lacey helping my daughter recover from a car accident when the check engine light came on in my car (2011 Kia Sorrento). This precipitated a series of repairs which, all told, came to $2.4K parts and labor. Now, I must mention that my car has seen 9 western/upstate NY winters, and most of the repairs had to do with corroding parts. Bryans doesnt see many cars with as much rust as mine has, but they handled everything with aplomb.The customer service is great! TJ, Josh and Chris were friendly and easy to talk to. Chris (whom I believe is the owner; check out his shirts!) gave me the names of several nice restaurants in the area to try, and even turned me on to a great Mexican food truck just down the road. Chris was my chauffeur back and forth from the shop. Their quotes were upfront and spot on; I was never surprised by any additional charges.As to the overall cost, despite the high total, they worked hard to keep the costs down. They offered me their educators discount as a retired teacher. They found a part for the emissions system that was used, in great shape, and cost at least half of what a new part would cost. They called all over the Puget Sound area for the least expensive parts they could find. When they were faced with a bit of a problem concerning rust on a gas tank seal, they double-checked with a technician on the east coast who sees more rusty cars as to the right way to handle the problem. At one point I even called my mechanic back home to see what a similar repair would cost me there, and he verified what Bryans was charging me, saying hed probably charge the same. Bryans hourly labor cost is higher than what I am used to at home, but on the whole I cant complain about that because all the work was done right and done well the first time. Often the parts were the largest expense, not the labor. They even gave me a break on one of their computer diagnostic charges. Towards the end, there was one final repair that had to meet the deadline of me returning to WNY, and they came through. When I left Lacey for home, I drove the car five days over 2600 miles, 8 hours a day, and no problems.So despite the deep pain in my wallet, I am very grateful to have found Bryans and have them do the repairs. I cant imagine there is a better auto repair shop in the greater Olympia area. They did not take advantage of my out-of-state status, they were super-friendly, and worked with me to keep my costs as low as possible. If I lived in Lacey, I would give them all my auto repair business. They rock-n-roll!

I was so pleased that when another friend was about to get hit with a huge repair bill by national chain shop, I referred him the Bryans.Instead of $$$$$ for a replacement part that couldnt be fixed, Bryans not only fixed it, it was fixed at less than 1/2 the price quoted by the national chain. After that experience, no doubt in my mind where I was bringing my car for service.Friendly, knowledgeable staff, courtesy rides, senior discount on labor and great work. Yeah, Ill be back.

Ive been a resident of Washington for five years. On my arrival, I needed auto service-luckaly my first stop was Bryans. I met Josh Napper (Front Desk). This young-man impressed me GREATLY. So I can say: Im a repeat customer. Just this week: 10 July 2010, I had a problem that could have taken months ot get a part/cost $700. plus to fix. Came here because the Dupont Jiffy Lube stripped my oil pan plug a few days before we were to PCSd. The folks at Bryan’s we’re extremely helpful, they gave me a ride home after dropping off the car. Turns out the oil pan needed replacing, they took care of it quickly. Great guys, wish I would’ve used them more.

Brian’s automotive told me I needed anew engine which would have cost between $6k to $8k.Got second opinion and all I needed was new water pump which cost $500. For pump, drive belts & coolant.

94 Corvette had a bad condenser and Bryans did a fine job of installing a new one.
