Pretty solid experience all round which is saying a lot for a car dealership these days. These guys are honorable and will not take advantage of you. Super friendly staff. Good financing knowledge and options that help get you the price you expect to pay. Should get better office space for a couple of their car sales people though. Note: I bought the car in a strange back room when it should have been an office.

Our 2018 Chrysler plug in hybrid Pacifica broke down 45 minutes from home in Old Saybrook CT. The car was towed into Old Saybrook Chrysler. The service adviser, Efram, and service manager, Carrie, were awesome and very helpful with great correspondence. Even though the car was purchased elsewhere, they provided a loaner and worked with Chrysler to diagnose and service the car. We did have to wait for parts from Chrysler. During that time, Carrie and Efram, kept us up to date on the status.Highly recommended and we will be purchasing our new Pacifica from Old Saybrook Chrysler Jeep based on the awesome service department..

Fellow Jeepers I wouldn’t recommend buying your Jeep here. Go to someone who will care about the jeeps they are selling to you and care about inspecting them better. If you do buy your car here, don’t spend the extra money on getting it certified pre-owned it isn’t worth your hard earned money. I paid the extra money to get mine certified pre-owned and it clearly states all the things they check on the braking system and not long after owning my Jeep my entire braking system had to be replaced. They didn’t care and continue to tell me they only check the brake pads, seems a little ridiculous as braking is one of the most important parts of driving.

I would not recommend this dealership to anybody ever. Sales team were very condescending and rude when it came looking to buying a Jeep that was two years old, new, and had been sitting on their lot for more than 9 months aka forever. I ended up driving to New Hampshire and bought the exact same Jeep I wanted that was the current year, new, and was $$$$$ cheaper than the price I negotiated in Old Saybrook. Just overall bad vibes.

Our new young sales star Jesse MacLachlan is very friendly and helpful. He is definitely not from the vampire family. Actually, speaking of my leasing experience, the whole dealership, from the sale manger John(if i remember you name right), my salesman Jesse to the Finance person(sorry i dont remember your name), they are all very helpful and friendly. i was impressed that they would not play tricks to sale products you dont need. I would be happy to refer biz to them again.

Purchased a used vehicle a few months ago. Salesmen had told me it was newer than it was, found out it’s actual age while signing financing paperwork. Sadly, that wasn’t the worst part. The car was sold to me burning a quart of oil every thousand miles or less. Months later I’m told they’re not only not going to fix it, BUT it was indeed my fault for not purchasing an extended warranty in order to protect my investment. I didn’t even make it 1000 miles off the lot. Worst part there wasn’t a compassionate soul that even pretended to be sorry I was going through this. I feel like I was taken advantage of from the beginning to the end. I’m disgusted and humiliated.

Purchased a 2017 Jeep from them. The salesman lied about the features then gave us a manual fir a 2020. Took 2 weeks to get the correct manual and find out the touch screen did not have the options we were told. When confronted about the issue the manager and salesman really didn’t care and complained how little money they made on the deal. I spent 29 k on the deal and really didn’t need to hear them complain. Will never go back to this dealer for anything. Buyer beware.

I have purchased multiple vehicles from Old Saybrook Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and I also always have my vehicles serviced there. Carrie in the service department is the best in the business. She always has a smile on her face, greets you warmly and goes the extra mile for her customers. I first met Carrie when I had an issue with a Jeep I bought a Jeep back in 2005, I believe. I had an issue with the vehicle and when Jeep sent me a customer survey I let them know about it. I was not kind in my review. Carrie (who I had not met yet) called me the same day and took care of it. Most recently, during the Covid-19 pandemic, she was able to handle multiple issues for me while holding down the fort with a skeleton crew. She is truly one of a kind and this dealership is lucky to have her.

Due to the pandemic some auto parts are being delayed which can be frustrating to some but the Service Manager Carrie does everything she can to accommodate customers. Thank you for the rental while my car is awaiting a minor repair.

I brought my car in this morning for the routine oil check/tire rotation and once again, wish I could rate the service MORE than 5 stars! I have been a customer for 6 years and the service here is consistently excellent. From scheduling the appointment to the return of my newly washed car, the service I receive could not be better. Not only was my routine service complete, but the ding and paint scratch i just happened to mention was fixed...at no additional charge! Thank you to everyone especially Efram who is always so pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. And to Carrie who is amazing and goes above and beyond to make sure that every issue is solved. Thank you again for another excellent service visit.

Complete crooks. First I want to say half of their employees were not wearing masks, or had them below their nose. I brought a coupon for 3 synthetic oil changes for $100 from the Chrysler website. They said with the coupon it would be $215 for that package from them. I understand paying a few extra dollars for the extra oil used, but paying a 215% increase is ludicrous. They then claimed it was because they do not use bulk oil. I called Valenti in Mystic and the advisor laughed and said it would be about $40 per oil change from them, so $120 total. Stay away from this dealer they are a joke.

My experience with this dealership was so disappointing!!! The sales manager and the sales consultant Mike have been one complete nightmare. Buyer beware! I was missed quoted and then turned away ! This place was not helpful and was prejudice against me ! it was obvious when I walked in the door, ! They did not really want to help me! The price of this particular jeep online was one price and was changed when I walked in the door after a test drive. They say that the customer comes first not at this dealership!!Rude, no mask, not friendly, etc, and very unprofessional! They were not interested or wiling to work with me. BEWARE before you walk on their lot !!!

Not a very peaceful place the employee are not Igor to sell any vehicle. I ask alot of guesting and had to keep going to the front desk. I am a progressive agent and old Saybrook was on the list of purchasing a jeep. But I had no choice in what color or system of jeep that I wanted to get no cool sence I am the one paying for the vehicle. The manger did not care or provided any help. So buyer try the skaker dealership in Watertown Connecticut and ask for ted he is the best. Dont go to a dealership that doesnt put your interest first.

In the past, I have despised dealing with car salesman but this experience has been amazing! Josh Mahoney was personable, had a great sense of humor, and was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle I was thinking about leasing. He was tolerable and considerate of my indecisive nature and desire to get the best deal possible. He and his team pulled out all stops to make me happy! Relaxing experience. After being at numerous dealerships looking at many different cars this was my last stop. There was no pressure from my sales associate Paul. I told him what I was looking for and what I could afford and he was able to deliver on both. The other dealers either hounded me or made me feel like they were doing me a favor. Friendly, attentive staff. I would highly recommend this dealer. Got more car than I expected for the price that I felt comfortable spending. The Dart is sharp looking and fun to drive. Thank you!

Bought a 2016 Ram Laramie truck in March 2016 at Saybrook Dodge/Ram. Great truck, rides like a Cadillac., fun to drive and with a impressive stereo sound system. The dealership treats me(and my dog Willis) like a king. My salesman Mike Losacano still calls me on a regular basis to make sure I,m happy with the truck. This is a guy who truly appreciates his customers. I highly recommend this dealership and if you should go there ask for Big Mike.

Rob was very friendly and extremely professional. They handled my 2012 Jeep warranty issue very efficiently and the waiting area was clean and spacious. Coming from the car-business I was initially hesitant to go to a dealer for a used car. I have to admit though, the staff at Old Saybrook was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about their product and quite pleasant to deal with. They made the negotiations go very smoothly, and really made me feel like they genuinely wanted to help. Yes, I would recommend them to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle. The service here was not great at all, Mike was no help at all. The managers did nothing for me either, I drove an hour here to get my deposit and was told I was unable to get it and would have to return next week. I returned the next week after I spoke to someone on the phone only to find out that the place closed early. I’m here now again and they are taking forever and I am yet to receive my deposit which I gave cash for. Do not come here!!! Avoid this place, they’ll give you the runaround on why they are taking forever for your deposit.

I recently bought my new Charger from Old Saybrook, a very nice and relaxed experience. Now, I have brought it in for its first service,when I need service its kind of unique because of my job. I travel extensively for work and will just usually stop in and drop off the car on a Monday morning. They listen to me, I had a few things I asked them to check into, and they did. Make sure you get everything you want in the contract!! I bought a car here last March and was told I would get 18 free months of Sirius. When I brought up the contract only listed 12 months I was told not to worry, when the 12 months was up called the dealership and they would extend it another 6 months, it was no big deal. When this time came and I called, I was told by Josh (salesman) that he didnt recall telling me that. Sirius may not be expensive but I hate when people dont follow through in what they promise.

This is the second time this has happen where I have gone to the dealer and having waited for the manager to respond to the sales person then he leave the room and doesnt come back and the sales person says I call you later. Never happen..Plus Im not a new customer who has purchase before and referred several people who have purchased car..... No More, to many other dealerships that want to sell cars....

I went to Old Saybrook Chrysler to have my car looked at and thought Id see if I could trade it for something newer..Im a current customer and my original salesman Mike took me out for two test drives..one in a newer Jeep Renegade and the other a Chrysler 200 like the one I currently drive but newer by two years..on the test drive I noticed the sale sign on the dash that said the car was priced at $36k..I explained to Mike that my credit wasnt good enough with a low score for a $36k car and owing still $16k on my current car..He told me it wasnt the price that it was lower but couldnt give an answer as to why the sign was still in the car and they were showing it in the car for that price..they said theyd do what they can and I wanted to stay under $500. A month for payment..he had me sign a credit form and another form.and told me my price would be about $507.a month...I went home..never hearing from the dealership or Mike on what was going on..only knowing the emails I was getting about my credit being run..I called three days later and they told me unless I came up with down payment and could make a $600. Payment..I declined to make that expensive monthly payment..they said my credit score wasnt high enough to hide the $8k I would be flipped on my car...a week goes by..I get a letter in the mail from a Credit Union..it was a denial letter for the loan amount of $36,383. I got angry..called the dealership to speak to the GM John and he was out the one to answer his call was my salesman Mike..I wanted to speak to John..I hungup called the dealership back asked for Johns email and Mike intercepted the call again..I explained to Mike what I was calling about and how upset I was that they applied for a loan for the amount of $36,383.He told me they didnt apply for that amount that the car I test drove was for $24k..Why..if they new my credit score came back low did they apply for a loan for $36,383..if I knew and they knew I couldnt be approved for that amount..Mike said they didnt run it for that amount..I told him to stop lying because Seasons Credit Union has Ols Saybrook Dealerships name on it and the amount they applied for the loan written on it..I hungup and called the Chrysler Corporation to complain against the dealership..they are investigating why this happened and Chrysler has asked the GM to call me..John the GM has yet to call me since a week ago this happened..Chrysler Corporation said its like dangling a carrot but you dont get the carrot and its bad business to do that to a customer!!From what Ive heard from a few people Mike the salesman always does this to customers and leaves the dealership scrambling to fix this problem..why he does this is beyond me..and even if I had to the car at $24k..adding the $8k Im flipped to the $24k comes out to $32k NOT $36K!!This is a HORRIBLE dealership!!I wouldnt suggest them to my worst enemy!!!Who does this to someone

Unprofessional...I was looking to trade in my 2012 Ram 3500 as well as a camper. At the beginning it seemed like they were Johnny on the Spot, Ryan contacted me and said they would be happy to work with me to try and work a deal. They asked for pictures and details on the camper which I sent in and they asked me to come in for an appraisal on the truck.Here is where the problems started. Because I work I couldnt get there until 6 pm. Ryan said he would let Mike know I was coming in and they would be ready to do the appraisal. So the wife and I drive an hour and get there just after 6. We go inside and walk around for 5 minutes, crickets....no one around. We then find Mike and another salesman sitting on a couch watching TV. When we tell them what we are there for they have no idea we were coming. Mike then shows us the Durango we were interested in and lets us take a test drive. We get back and he says he cant do an appraisal because the truck value is too high so his manager needs to look at it and that they want to look at the camper. They then agree that they will come out to my house the next day to appraise the truck and camper at the same time so I dont have to tow it in. Im thinking, wow good service. So I get home and spend about an hour setting up the camper, hooking up to power, putting out the slides, etc... The next day, no call, no email, NO SHOW. My wife waited home all day and wasted an entire day. I dont hear from them at a all. So I send them an email a couple days later asking whats up? No response, finally Mike responds and says theyd love to still work with me and to give him a call. So the next day I try calling and am told MIke is on the lot so I leave a voicemail and my number and ask Mike to call me. Couple hours later, no call so I try calling again, not there. So I send another email telling Mike to give me a call and leave my number and I also cc 2 others sales people. No call back, no email, nothing. Yet Im still getting the auto generated emails from Mike that say the standard are you still interested we have heard from you.This dealer is the JV team, if they didnt want to make a deal thats fine but dont waste my time! Go to Valenti Dodge instead, they worked with me on the spot, let me take the Durango all afternoon so we could get a better feel for it and gave me a fair trade on Camper and Truck. They gained a customer and Old Saybrook lost one!

Absolutely horrific customer service. The general manager has a terrible attitude. I would stay far far away from this dealership. There are too many other options around to deal with people like this. If I didnt want the color they had, I wouldve gone elsewhere too. In my opinion these people are liars. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!

Called to purchase a truck 9:00 am this morning, was told by Josh the salesman they would hold it till 1:00. Drove an hour to get there to find out it was sold the night before and then tried to sell me a truck 20,000 more then the truck I was interested in. Will not recommend this dealer to anyone or ever visit any of there dealerships.

I brought my 2015 Jeep Compass for the 60,000 mile check-up, after 3 hours I found out they have only completed an oil change. After returning the car I could visibly see they did not rotate the tires and reminded them to. I watched them rotate my tires and a technician drooped my tire and scrapped some of the finish off. When I got my Compass back home I started to inspect the car myself and found discrepancies between what they had written down and what I saw. In addition, they did not preform the mandatory maintenance as described in the owners manual. It turns out they missed all of the big repairs such as replacing the rear diff., transfer case, and transmission oils. Also, they did not change the spark plugs and air filters nor inspect critical components such as the cv joints or tie rod links.In summary, bring your Jeep to another dealership if you value your car and your safety!

I am still a little heated, but I will try to be as unbiased as I can. My wife and I took the day off of work to look at a used Jeep Wrangler. No one but the receptionist was in sight when we got there. To be honest, it was overpriced compared to the other ones we had been looking at for what it was, but since my wife is a sales manager at a dealership we thought we had a good chance at talking with them for a better deal. It was a base model with an automatic, hardtop and a/c. My wife liked it until I pointed out the cosmetic damage to the top of the hardtop that no one thought to mention.The salesman came back with an out the door price that was equivalent to the msrp on a brand new base model. I told them my out the door price and that I wasnt going any higher. That is when the whole sales team, that was just sitting around bsing, decided to jump in on the conversation. I said I wasnt paying that much for the vehicle and they started lying about how their used vehicles were not marked up, started comparing the used vehicle we were looking at to the brand new ones they had out front, and blindly appraised our trade-in which threw up a red flag for me. That was the point where I started to raise my voice, which I fully admit was wrong for me to have done. I just really hate when someone knowingly lies to my wifes face.We already had a check in hand, just wanted a fair price. I told my wife that we have the day off and we will keep looking, and that we didnt need to waste our time there. I assume it was the sales manager that jumped in the conversation at that time and told me that I was wasting HIS time. Did I mention that no one else was in the store and they were ALL sitting around bsing? I looked at him and said that I dont NEED to buy from this dealership and his response was to tell me, Just leave then! So we did.I had no issue with the salesman and wish I could remember his name. He should look for employment at a better dealership. This dealership wants your money, not your business. They dont want to work with you on a fair price because they know someone else will come along and pay their outrageous prices eventually.I guess its off to Facebook to update my friends on the wonderful experience I just had. I am also going to share this with my command, since Subase New London has a lot of young, impressionable people stationed there. Just remember when car shopping there are literally thousands of the exact same vehicle you are shopping for. They need your money, youre not obligated to give it to them.
