Bought a simple watch battery. Told hold onto receipt for free replacement. Today they said it was a lie.Imagine buying anything more valuable from these guys and believing what they tell u? U have a lot of choices in jewelry stores, this one believes honesty is not part of customer service. Lie about a battery?Buyer beware.
Not good. I had a necklace with a lifetime warranty on it, but they couldnt find my ex husbands name and wanted to charge me $52 to fix it. Therefore it will just stay broken.New happening. My ex husband called corporate and got the warranty number and all info. I took it back to Zales and they are going to fix it now.
Bought my Fiancés engagement ring here. The lady who helped us was more eager for the sale of the ring than to tell us that we had to pay additional for it to be sized. I went to pick it up and nobody would acknowledge me and when told about the pricing I was offered the warranty instead and quoted $100 where the sizing cost about $55. I wanted to go through with the warranty because it wasnt much more, until it rang up $150 and they just said sorry. Worst customer service ever. I will not be purchasing a ring from this Zales ever again.
I literally never make an effort to give a business a bad review, but I’m breaking my streak for this Zales location. The salesman who greeted me seemed to know absolutely nothing - he wasn’t sure where the engagement rings were located and had to ask a coworker - but okay, maybe he was very new. An older salesman ended up taking over for him, which I initially was grateful for, until I realized he’s the rudest salesman I think I’ve ever encountered, especially given the high price tag on the merchandise he’s selling. I told the older salesman that we were looking at rings in the 6000-7000 price range, and the first ring he showed me was 12,000. When I informed him that it was out of our price range, he seemed to lose all desire to help me. He visibly didn’t want to show me any more rings, and refused to write down any of the rings I liked for future reference for us, and snottily said we just needed to go online and figure out what we wanted. He then left me standing there and went to another customer, so I was without a salesman, even though there were several sales people in the store without customers. There were other rings I would have liked to look at, but felt like I had no choice but to leave. There were several rings I liked for good prices, but I would never be willing to go back and be made to feel embarrassed for not wanting a $12,000 ring.
Had a lot of jewelry that me and my wife love prices was great and they help me replace my wedding and even though they dont have layaway anymore they had another program that him me get it and I didnt have to wait to pay it off to leave with it just lease it and the payment plan isnt high I love shopping at Zales i have purchased most of my jewelry from them and definitely will continue to buy from them
This review is strictly based off the service that Carlos Villarreal gave us. He was very rude to the Saleswoman Kalena and overtook the sale. He talked down to her and man-splaned everything. He was very dismissive and tried to take the sale from her. He only was remotely interested in me when I said I’d like to purchase. Mind you, I have an account already with Zales and have purchased jewelry previously. I refuse to come back and be treated with such disrespect.
Bad customer service the last 2 times I went in, Ill take my business elsewhere from now on. Last fall I tried to bring a 3 stone morganite ring in to get the main stone tightened as it was very visibly moving inside the prongs and the 2 women that helped me not only dismissed the issue but wouldnt even look up my account. I walked out immediately.So fast forward to June 2021 the middle gem is now extremely loose (they actually looked my acct up this time) and now I also have to get my wedding fixed due to a broken prong (got the other side fixed 3yrs ago). Both turned in for repair after waiting 45min for them to enter the repairs for the 2 rings into their computers, but 1.5wks later I check the status and there was repairs for items I didnt ask for (I was surprised to see a $500 bill vs $60), one small side diamond prong repair thats all I needed and didnt ask for anything else. So the CS guy tried to tell me different (that I was wrong) and I corrected him stating I only asked for the one broken prong repaired not all the prongs redone (which the others are solid and not worn or broken). I will not waste my time with associate who interrupt to say I am wrong and dont listen to their customers at the very least. These other 1 star reviews are very accurate.7/3/21 update... got several followup calls from an associate (Bonnie) she was very nice in the last week about my wedding ring repair. Was told that it was ready for pickup so I went in today and got my morganite/rose gold ring (only thing that went right today) but upon inspection of my wedding ring supposed repair, which they said they repaired the one prong, when in fact it wasnt repaired at all BUT they built up the prong that had been repaired 3 yrs ago instead and left the broken/missing prong not repaired. I was so upset at this point I walked out as there was NO WAY I was going to leave my ring with this incompetent company again. Instead I went to Diamond Direct who has AMAZING customer service AND is fixing my ring for free and will have ALL my future jewerly business. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT ZALES, there is MUCH better service elsewhere!

We live in Mustang, a good 20 min from this store in good traffic. My Mother needed to her her wedding band looked at and cleaned. My Father recently passed, NOT from COVID, and this has been really tough on her and she wanted to get it cleaned and looked at so we drove to get this done. The person whom my Mother assumed was the manager by his demeanor was very snotty to my Mother and distracted she explained. He seemed like he was hesitant to ask and when she explained why she was there, he asked for the ring and took it with tongs and made sure to act especially careful as if she were infected. After cleaning, grabbing with the tongs out of the solution and dropping them on a towel to dry. He takes a quick glance and says, the diamonds are fine. Actualy dropped, not far mind you but you could hear it hit the glass she said and pretty much walked off. She overheard him tell the other employee that he had sold the prior customer the wrong ring. So he was distracted and the customer that was there on 4/12 around 2pm needs to know they were shishted and the manager DOESNT care!
Picked up our engagement ring today, the staff was very helpful in finding the right ring for the right price.

My fiancee bought my ring here it was very expensive $13,000 we also bought his for $900.We went there to have them sized since we bought them there, got a call they said your rings are ready I went to pick them up, his was ready but mine was not, I was told it was sent to another location for sizing, she tried givingMe the wrong receipt back on my ring, and this is the manager doing this. I was told three different times by three different people they would get back to me on the status of when I will get it back, we actually drove back out there in person was told same thing, then got a call staying they didnt know where my ring was and so now I am 2 weeks away from my wedding and do not know for sure if I will get it on time... they did say we will be getting another ring and it will be sized, but even though it is not the ring he proposed to me with it makes me sad. How in the world do you lose a ring that expensive, also when we turned my ring in they we not giving me a receipt stating I turned it in for sizing and I questioned that, I am glad I did... They are not offering anything extra for there mistake either.....just we apologize, even though they gave us the run around for a week about losing it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!
Went to have my rings inspected and cleaned. They show open until 7 pm. I arrived at 6:33 pm. The rolling chains were down. The man inside informed me I would have to come back tomorrow. It is a 40 minute drive for me. Not impressed.

The older woman sales person was not a good person to deal with. She gave awful advice about my engagement ring and my wedding band being 2 different sizes and not fixing it. also was not pleasant at all when buying our rings. If we’re spending thousands of dollars I expect you to be nice and smile. She looked annoyed the entire time we were there and every tine afterwards. I will not be going to this location ever again.
Its a big deal trying to find the wedding ring that represents over 20 years of marriage. Adrian was awesome and patient for sure as I looked at each ring a few times!

Its going to take 3 weeks to repair
I’m supposed to take my ring in every 6 months to get cleaned. I stood at the counter where two people were working. One lady was helping another customer. The other one was on her phone, her profile facing me... so she should’ve been able to see me with a slight turn of her head. I waited for close to ten minutes until the lady helping the other customer said they would be with me in a minute, and the other girl finally decided she was going to help me. Pretty ridiculous.
I wish I had read these reviews before my now fiance and I went here. The in-store experience was ok. The salesman felt a little slimy, but we liked the ring we found quite a lot. Wed been looking for a while, and it just fit the look we both wanted. So, we bought the ring, only to find out a few weeks later that *surprise* the financial terms wed agreed to werent the actual terms the bank was offering. It was a COMPLETELY different agreement. The salesman lied to us!Ive contacted the store manager and their corporate headquarters, and nobody seems to care. I guess they have the money, so it doesnt matter to them any more.So now were a month in to an engagement that was announced with a ring that was sold to us with a lie. Its really the worst feeling to start an engagement with. I have no idea what well do. Please dont shop here--go to a company that has a sliver of ethics and pride in its name.
Unfortunately I have had more than one bad experience with this particular location. This past weekend my husband and I were browsing. I have been looking for an additional to my stackable set of wedding bands. A man approached us, asked what we were looking for and I told him I was just looking briefly. He followed me through the engagement rings to the bands where I asked to see one. He looked annoyed. My husband walked over and wasn’t a fan of the ring so I gave it back and the sales employee legitimately walked away as if I was done and he was no longer going to help me. He treated me as if I didn’t deserve his time. After spending thousands with this company I could not believe he would act in such a rude manor. He should not be in customer service. I walked out angry and took my business to another location where I was warmly welcomed and treated as if I had all the money in the world to spend. No matter the budget, everyone should be treated with the upmost respect, this man was not that at all.
This is the worst place to buy your wife a wedding ring from they will sell you a ring for $1,700 but its only worth about five do not buy anything from there I would not recommend it
My bridal set was purchased here. The customer service was horrible. As soon as the salesmen realized we didnt want a set over $1000, he wanted to get us out of there as soon as possible. He was impatient and rude. We found a bridal set that I loved, purchased it and once I got home realized that the engagement ring was smaller than the wedding band. You could tell that it had been resized. He sold me used bridal set. I went to the quail springs mall, told them what happened and a wonderful sales lady gave me a new set. She was helpful and didnt care that I wasnt spending any money with her. She even explained the warranty that I had purchased because the guy at the penn store sold it to be but didnt explain that I had to bring my rings in every 6 months. I will never go back to the penn store again the customer service was horrible. Go to quail springs or the outlet mall they are freindly and helpful.
Went in for 6 month cleaning of wedding rings. temp. location just across the way due to reconstruction on mail store. I was greeted promptly & service was wonderful. Sharon was a delight & informed me of the update on construction on main store. Very good experience. Thank you Zales.
My husband bought my wedding ring set here 4 years ago. It came with an engagement ring and 2 bands, all of them with small diamond lining the sides of the rings, and he bought the protection plan (Thank God). Since then l have had diamonds fall out at least 4 -5 different times, always on the same band. Last month l took the band in to have the stone replaced and they sent the entire set off with instructions to tighten every stone since this keeps happening. I picked it up a few weeks ago and it looked great. Today I saw that ANOTHER stone is missing, this time in the set that is usually fine. l intentionally don’t wear my ring at work to avoid having diamonds fall out, and l rarely if ever wear the band that the stones usually fall out of. Thankfully the protection plan pays for the stone to be replaced, but this is still absolutely ridiculous. He spent far much too money on this ring for it to keep breaking and l shouldn’t have to be constantly taking my ring in to be fixed. The only positive thing I can say is that the consultants at this store have always been very kind and helpful with getting the ring inspected and sent off to be fixed. I usually am very laid back and hate causing a scene, but as of now we will never buy anything from Zales again.
We had a pleasant visit when me and my husband bought my engagement and wedding ring. I went today to just get my ring cleaned and to get my ring inspected. They were extremely rude to me because I wasn’t there to purchase anything. Worst customer service. Will be going to any different location from now on.

If you must go to Zales go to ANY location other than this one unless terrible customer service is your thing. This location has never been helpful or kind in the past 16 years Ive been coming back to have my rings repaired/inspected.

Worst experience ever. I will never go back to Zales again for anything nor will I recommend it to friends or family. However I will be going to social media next in regards to my experience as Ive already called corporate. The sales rep Barbara at Penn Square Mall was beyond rude and racist. She tried to avoid me given I was black and in reading her body language and her response to my questions. She could not even make eye contact with me as well as even refusing to look up my purchase in the system by my phone # to verify my purchase and warranty on my ring. Now I understand the fact you need the diamond certificate to replace a diamond in the ring. But the mere fact that it would be 2 weeks for her to come up with an estimate is bs. Not once did Barbara attempt to look up any information on my purchase. She was very dismissive and wanted to get me outta the store as if I was trying to run a scam on her or that I didnt in fact purchase my ring from there. I then asked her before I left the store could she clean my ring . Once again her body language said no basically it was clearly written all over her face. Barbara says to me Um no because the diamond is missing.. I said what in an unpleasant tone. She (Barbara) then says Well I guess I can brush it Really Zales ? What kind of people do you have working for your establishment. This is unacceptable on every level. You can not assume because people are of a different race or gender that they are thrives and liars as Barbara made my son and I feel. My child is a minor and clearly he picked up on it immediately smh. But guess what ? Barbara at Penn Square Mall in Oklahoma city has gotten you all free advertisement. You are very welcome Zales.
Honestly worst customer service ever!!! I had taken my wedding rings in to get cleaned and inspected for my 6 month check up, but my husband and I didnt have the paperwork because we had recently moved and somehow misplaced the paper work. Anyway, she was extremely rude and told me to call the corporate office to get new paper work. Called them and they said as long as nothing was wrong with the ring I could just get new paper work at the store and get it inspected. Not sure if thats going to happen or not! Also, I had my rings soldered together and they came apart after a couple weeks...in never buying anymore jewelry from zales again and Im thinking about getting insurance on my wedding rings just so I dont have to deal with the 6 month cleanings anymore because of how awful the staff is!
Absolutely horrible service! I wish my husband would never bought so many things there including my wedding ring+ expensive insurance that doesn’t even work. I gave them chain for repair that insurance supposed to cover a month ago, it supposed to be ready in a week, they never called so it extended for a month. When I came back to pick it up it wasn’t EVEN MY CHAIN! They never apologize, send me home, promised to call, which they never did, when I called them again last week they promised to call on Monday. Guess what? They never did! We will never purchase anything from that store!!!! They should take their business more serious!
I bought my fiances wedding band from this store. First when I entered the store nobody acknowledged that I was there, which I didnt understand because the store just opened and everyone was available. After getting someones attention I asked to see a few wedding bands which he showed me really crappy ones at first, which ticked me off even more. After not wanting to keep the ring I took it back because I found a better one I liked at Jareds. When I asked to return it the woman with the hooker boots had an attitude about the return. The atmosphere is dead here and they all are like zombies, expressionless and no smiles. Save yourself time and go to quail springs. They are much nicer and more respectful people at the Quail springs mall.

My husband and I both purchased our wedding bands and my engagement ring at Zales. When we purchased the rings, they only had sizes that were huge on both of us. So we went ahead and used the big bands in our ceremony and then sent my ring off to get sized and ordered a new size in his ring. It is now a month after and we still have not recieved his ring. And on top of not getting it yet, no one knows when it will be in or even an ETA. Very frustrating. Love the jewelry, hate the service
I got my engagement ring/wedding bands from Zales in 2015 and in the past three years I’ve never once felt like they showed us good customer service. I feel like every interaction with them has been a battle. I have had many complaints with them but two experiences in particular stand out as being exceptionally horrible. They misplaced my ring before the wedding and almost didn’t get it back to us in time. Recently I sent my ring off to be resized and when it was returned to me the diamonds in the crown of the ring were messed up. They are disorganized with subpar customer service standards. I would never recommend them to anyone and I strongly wish we’d gone anywhere else.
My fiancé bought my ring here, they had to special order my size, that was 6weeks ago... they originally told us 2-4 weeks, I’ve been calling the last month and they always say they’ll call back and don’t. Today the supposed manager said they never even put the order in and now it’s gonna be 8-12weeks. I am not happy with their service.
I wish I could rate it ZERO STARS. I’ve always bought from Kay’s because of pricing and deals. My boyfriend bought me a ring here for Christmas. Not only did they gave him over a size 7, when he got a size 6. I came and tried to get it resized and no one knew what they’re were Doing. So I called customer service and they paid for me to get it resized. I went to go pick it up (it took a month to get resized nor did they cal us to pick it up) and they purposely ignored us. As if we’re not worthy to shop in here. Needless to say anymore, I will never let anyone or myself spend another dime here ever again.

It was terrible! I went in to get a ring resized that I had purchased at a location in GA when i was with my boyfriend. Once the lady actually greeted us (about 15 mins after wed entered) she was extremely rude and kept making annoyed faces at my toddler who i had in the stroller with me. She didnt even acknowledge my boyfriend whos information was in the system & turned cold the moment she rang us up with a total and I told her wed gotten the warranty due to us knowing itd most likely have to be resized.It wasnt until shed taken my ring and put it in a safe that she informed us it would be 3 weeks until Id see it again.I love the jewelry at Zales but from now on Ill pay the money to fly out to the GA location and deal with them
This location is horrible. They dont greet you when you come In. They pushed me to go to Gordons across the hall because they didnt want to do work. Not to mention, DO NOT GO TO GORDONS IN PENN SQUARE EITHER! Theyre both horrible. Their customer service is dispicable. They dont care about you at all. They see a dollar sign and even then they dont care to help you as much as they should. Will not be going back to either location. You couldnt pay me to.
