Fingernails did fine. I got the gel in pink and with sparkles but as you can see they didnt really round them so they look a little weird. My toes werent done as great but I got the deluxe and the scrub and everything was quite nice. But it costed all together about a good $90 because I was feeling generous and gave them an $8 tip

A couple days ago, I got my nails done at this place. I understand he was understaffed however he was rushing to finish up my nails. He did a dented job but was it not worth the $40 I spend. I honestly feel like I could have done my own nails my self. Also not to mention he was being really rude to me and my friend when we came in and after we left. My experience was very disappointed. I honestly would not go back again, there are plenty of nail technicians that would do a better job for the same price.

Average pedicure. Polish job wasnt the best, not very smooth. Massage was okay. It wasnt anything special to bring me back.

I was supposed to get a manicure but the lady only did the nails with a gel finish. every nail is a different length, width, and angle. cuticles never pushed back, glue and power stuck around the cuticles and tip of the fingers. lady was aggressive and kept hitting my forearms when I didnt know where to put my hands. made me bleed on two different fingers. there is now dust and grime sticking to the nails and all my cuticles are aching. not to mention the ombre on each nail were completely uneven. this entire experience costed $60, that was the last of my cash money. very disappointed.my pictures are up top, pink to white.

I wish I read the reviews first. Lady hardly put any pressure when scrubbing my feet. Her way of massaging my feet was to just rub lotion on them. The man up front is rude and my lady kept talking to a lady next to her the whole time and laughing

Don’t waste your money. Went here because I thought it would be convenient for my daughter and me. 🤦🏿‍♀️ this business is not trying to maintain at all. Quality is 🚮🗑. Please don’t waste your money. There are other places that will treat you much better and respect your hard earned coins. I’m too embarrassed to show the shellac. It’s bubbly. And if I wasn’t on a time restraints definitely would have had them re-do it. My daughters nails are bulky. Is there in place in this town that actually cares about other people and their business. That wants a customer to return. Not looking for a quick buck. So sad. Why even leave the house anymore? They are out dated.

The guy who sits in the front is beyond rude. No customer service skills. He talks to everyone rudely. He did not even greet us when we came in, he literally just stared at us. And then the ladies who did mine and my friends toes sat there and laughed us the whole time. It was ridiculous. My toes turned out fine but you can’t really mess up a basic pedicure

Phenomenal pedicure! The best one I’ve ever had and that’s saying something! I was surprised with the absolutely amazing experience I had here after going as a last minute decision. They took me and my aunt in right away and served us better than ever expected. A little pricey but very much worth it! I like an hour away but I wouldn’t have any issue driving to traverse city just for a pedicure here. Absolutely amazing !

Absolutely disappointed in my nails went in to get a full set of acrylics coffin shape most uneven nails and not proportional at all. Today is the third day after I got them and they are coming off, not even doing anything and they are peeling off my nail. What a joke! I didn’t pay 30$ for my nails to last 3 days. How pathetic!!

Went there with my two other friends to get my nails done today, they were able to take all of us at the same time. i got an acrylic set, my two friends just got gel. The man that did my nails barely spoke to me until i yelped in pain because he had hurt the side of my ring finger. He then got very aggressive about putting on the acrylic and kept DIPPING MY INJURED FINGER INTO THE JAR OF MONOMER. i was about to back out but he kept going and it was too late for me to stop him. He tried to act polite after that, i think mostly to keep me from causing a scene. After he was finished my nails were choppy, WAY too thick and all lumpy. He rushed my nails to the point that i was done before my friend (who had just gotten gel.) All of our nails were bumpy and just overall bad looking. Charged me 45 dollars. Now i have to spend another 50 just to get these removed and a new set put on by hopefully someone who knows what theyre doing.Their tools were dirty and he used a file on my nails that looked like it had been used on a million other customers. I just hope i dont get an infection.

Buyer BewareSo I was walking in meridian mall, at the corner of my eye I saw this lovely small retro nail joint named, 90s Nails, was very nice to see some old school, as I entered into I was greater with out a smile, like oh no not another rich privilege kid (ồ không, một đứa trẻ đặc quyền giàu có khác - I belived that is what was said) and I asked for a for a pricing on gels, they said $14.00 (boy I should of walked out of there once they lied to me about the pricing) when I was in the middle of my mani - she, Dawn, rudely said its $24 for Gel, sorry, wow I dont care about pricing but dont lie to me, she was hand down the worst experience Ive ever had, I will not be returning to her, I called them up, and she basically said f*** off, and hung the phone up on me, I will never walk in there again.... I will be filing a review on other social media sites, and the BBB, so if I had to give this place a star review I wouldnt.

I have had my nails done here multiple times, Never have I had to wait. I have had the same lady twice and the mother or the older lady twice. The atmosphere is okay, One time did I go in there and everyone was laughing and it was great but usually I go in there they are all quiet with their headphones in not paying attention to anything. Never have my nails been perfect but good enough. 25 for acrylics. I perfer the older lady or the man. They do almost perfect nails and they arent as rough as the lady. Came in to get my girlfriends nails done for Valentines day and as she asked about the color of what she was getting done, the guy started to yell at her because he wasnt at that part of the process. As the process came closer to the partofthe color she asked again and got the same response even more aggressive. We asked him what was wrong and why we got verbally assaulted and he just said we was pulling a scam. No reason for him to get agressave at her when alls she did was ask questions. All the other workers are professional and would come back if it wasnt for that one worker. Respect customers and they will always come back

The entire time I was there no one came in for nails or pedicure or anything which I thought was weird seeing all the places I go are busy! She spent alot of time on my nails but whenI looked at them there were areas not done & she didn’t put the final gloss coat on so they look dull! I would not recommend! They charged $40!! I will not go back!!!!!!

I had a decent time at 90s Nails. My usual persons schedule and mine arent lining up, so I ran in here because they werent busy. I do like the work that was done on my nails, they look nice and the price was reasonable. There were 2 things that bothered me, the first, is the lack of communication made me uncomfortable, not so uncomfortable that I wont consider returning but it was different. The second thing is the man who did work with me had bluetooth headphones in and it was clear he was listening to a game show from his laptop- that was not appropriate, the minute he takes a client those should be out.

Horrifying. Got my eyebrows waxed was very specific about what I needed and ended up with half of both my eyebrows missing. Only needed a clean up, gave extremely clear directions because she did not ask. Havent had eyebrows this bad in 5 years. Clearly unqualified for waxing. Just say no.

She made my nails bleed and didn’t even acknowledge them at all! My nails burn now every time I put lotion on because of the wounds! I asked her for long skinny thin coffin nails and she gave medium fat oval nails! I stopped her when she started to put the acrylic on and told her to put a thin layer and she said it would be fine she would file them down. But they still came out fat! The next day I asked if they could take them off Free of charge and they told me no. I said she made me bleed and the man said “that’s okay.” Please save your money because I just paid $50 for no reason and it’s my bday weekend so I have to go spend some more money to get these off and get new ones.

Everytime we come in here they are very nice and take their time to do a good job. Never had a complaint in many years coming here

Worst place ever! The lady treated my hands like she hated her job and just wanted to get rid of me. She had only one job and messed it up. She applied a coat of glitter polish, then applied regular non glitter polish on top then back again with the glitter. I went back to her right after I was out because it never dried despite having my hands under the dryer for 15 minutes and the polish messed up. Going back to her she made me feel like an idiot. Please dont ever go to them. They dont drserve any customers and hopefully will go out of business. How they treated me and others is NOT okay.

Left a big glob or acrylic under my nail and it hardned to where I cant clean under my nail. Lady was also very rude, and the lady who did my sister in laws nails told her she could stop drying them early because she was done when she wasnt so they could hurry up and close. So her nail polish smudged on the first thing she hit with her nail. Also charged my card twice for both transactions!

Horrible experience. It was suppose to be a girls day out. We got mani/pedis. My technician never said a word to me. However she did have her ipads in and was trying to watch a movie on her laptop the entire time.We werent out of the store more than 10 minutes before one of us noticed a polish smudge.It got worse from there, we tried on some clothes and more polish came over. We went back to the store and the owner yelled a tt us saying we did the damage and we should have been carrful.

Worst service ever. These people are just plan rude. Asked for gel polish with just the tips and they painted my whole nailShe didnt even push back my cuticles. Now my hair gets under the polish and gets pulled. Wont spend another dime here. If I knew how to post pictures I would. GEL polish is to last awhile. Mine started flaking within a few days.

It was so cramped and crowded. I payed 30 dollars for a simple gel manicure. My nails barely lasted a week. The only plus side is the staff is so nice.

My girlfriends and I visited this salon on Saturday. The staff here were very nice. However, the work done on our nails was terrible. Two girls got basic manicures and two of us got shellac. One of the girls with the manicure had polish all around the side skin and cuticles that the worker did not clean off and hers started chipping within minutes of leaving the salon. I got shellac and let me remind you, this was Saturday, today is Wednesday, and my nails are bare... Within two days my thumb nail polish/shellac came right off (I was folding clothes) and just today another two came off. Shellac is meant to last 2-3 weeks and mine didnt even last a full two days.. Would not recommend this salon. Sad to say, because again, the staff were all very sweet.

Soooo I asked for acrylics they did not push back my cuticles At all and they had horable customer service and my nails hert even when I barely touch them I do not Recommend Going here at all also the shape off my nails are horable

Unimpressed with my experience here. I’ve gone to the other nail salon in the mall before and had good experiences there, but they were so busy I just came here instead - wish I would have just waited lol. I got acrylics with tips, the woman couldn’t do what I wanted so I settled for something else. She cut my cuticles with the drill on a couple of my nails, my pointer finger is really crooked, and this place is just so gross, dingy, dirty. Some of my nails are thicker at the base and sides, and just look unnatural (I know they’re artificial, but the base is bulging more than the tip). Then when she was about to polish them, I asked if I could have a matte topcoat and she tells me it’s $5 extra! FVE DOLLARS FOR A TOPCOAT. That is ridiculous. I have my cosmetology license and know that the matte topcoat is no more expensive than the regular. Obviously I did not get that. We’ll see how long these acrylics last, and I for sure will not be returning.

Bae got my nails done here for Christmas (I just never get them done) and even as a beginner I could tell just how poor the service was! My tech had bluetooth headphones in the whole time and pretty much acted like I was bothering her every time I spoke to her. Didnt push back my cuticles so my nails caught on everything. 2 coats of shellac and they lasted maybe 2 weeks.My tech was just really rough and hurried with me and never checked to make sure she was delivering what I wanted... the place is crowded and looks kind of shabby. My mood-changing shellacs were $25, so not a bad price. I just really look for a relaxing experience when I go to the salon and it was not in any way delivered.

The worst nail salon ever! Everywhere is dirty, messy and dusty! I asked her questions she ignored me. Then I asked her not to use the drill to remove my polish she did. Then she cut all of my nails short when I said to keep them square shaped and long and just trim them very little. Then she put on Bluetooth headphones and started listening to something via her computer. Then she said “I’m hungry” and pulled out a protein bar and started eating it right there while working. Then I said “that’s it I’m leaving and I still had nail polish not removed from all of my nails, she stood in front of me and tried to push me away and block my way and said “I’m calling security pay me $10” and I told her why I wont pay her, she kept arguing with me, then i said “get out or I’ll call the police”, she said “youre crazy never come here again”.

Hahaha okay so I have a funny experience going to this place so I went here with my friend to get my brows and lip waxed and she went to get her nails done.So i was talking yes but i was saying how its a bit strange how they plopped me down in the middle of the store and just started going for it. Didnt take me to the back room like some places do, i said this out loud because i was just a bit uncomfortable because the entire store was staring at me. Then the lady finishes my brows, moves onto my upper lip. She says cLosE yO mOuF!! Like hella demanding. I give her a nasty glare like did you really just say that to me?? I just said um, okay? And she says, NO NO no NO i wasnt trying to be rude! I was not trying to be rude with the fakest smile ever..That was an experience Ill never forget. Its kind of funny how they think they can talk to paying customers like that!

I went here some weeks ago for a pedicure. I was already nervous about the shop because of it’s size, but I also didn’t want to seem judgey. Upon entering everyone seemed okay, but once my pedicure began I noticed how horrible my pedicurist was. She started taking the shellac off of my toes and got visibly frustrated when she realized she didn’t have the proper tools to do so. Realizing this, she rather abruptly dropped my foot down and deep-sighed in annoyance (sorry, but it’s not my fault that you didn’t have the tools you needed). So, a coworker of hers ended up using his tools to get the job done. Secondly, when it came to my pedi, she was handling me quite roughly. When she filed my nails down, her tools scraped me multiple times. I’ve gotten PLENTY of pedicures and never once have I been handled that roughly. To top it all off, at one point I winced and she looked up at me sarcastically and asked “That hurt?” When I replied yes, she did nothing but smirk and roll her eyes. Not to mention, this entire time she had airpods in and was completely disengaged. It was sickening. Now, I’m Black and I’m a woman of size, so I expect that those things played a role in her treatment of me too. I’ve had some terrible experiences in shops, but none were ever quite like this. In end, she gave me an ‘okay’ pedi and an absolutely horrible experience. I’ll never recommend this shop to anyone, and I’ll never set foot in 90’s Nail’s again.

Ridiculous did a horrible job, she messed up my nail an didnt even fix it never again, and its cramped up in here my boyfriend couldnt even sit down an there was no one in there but us. nice workers but seriously need to do a better job on nails my nails popped off the next week on there own 🤦🏽‍♀️Never again I promise

Worst Full Set That I & Friend Have Gotten. We went as a girls day out for my friends birthday. Well as soon as I walked out I noticed that the tips were not entirely glued to my actual nail leaving a space between the two for dirt and other things to get in between. Both my friend and I were charged two different prices for the exact same thing. Never Again Will I Go Here Again.

Please dont go here. The only one who does a decent job on the nails is the guy but hes rude in my opinion. Pretty much tried to rush me out of the store even though my nails werent dry and there were no other customers. Dont go to the women in the back if your life depended on it, especially the one in the corner. My nails were different shapes and poorly painted by her. I got a set of acrylics here and they werent great. My thumb was smudged while she was painting them and it didnt get fixed. They werent rude towards me, but it wasnt a pleasant experience either. It was only $25 so honestly it wasnt too much of a loss.

Ive been doing my own nails for 17 yrs, Ive been licensed for 4. Do to a recent car accident and surgery I have been unable to do my own nails nd pedicures. The guy did my nails nd they are horrible the shape is all wrong he didnt file the sidewalls so the acrylic is all over my finger pass the nail bed. He didnt know how to remove my old set He refused to soak off, used a nail tip instead. eventually just drilled of my old set. The pedi was horrible, no massage, barely scrubbed then at all nd she used an illegal blade on me after told her they were illegal.I recorded the illegal blade use for further review by state board I will never go here again I guess thats what i get for last minute trip.

The worst full set I have ever had! They started lifting up 30mins after I got them. My pinky fell off a day after words. I will never ever ever waste my time and money there ever again. GO TO MICHELLES NAILS in Williamston 100% better! I will never go back to 90s nails ever again!

They are very rude both they lady and the owner were very rode to us I went there at 7 and they told me to wait five minutes and I asked him if he is going to do my nail or somebody else then he started to speak rude and angry and said they were going to call the police just because I asked him .
