Bought a vehicle through AMCU and picked it up there. The guys were extremely professional and went above and beyond their duties. Highly recommended.

They towed my car to the salt lake location after a car accident and made it nearly impossible to get my vehicle back stating I never released it to my insurance company’s tow truck. Next they said I was missing other paperwork when they had me put it in THEIR mailbox since it’s basically a house and they weren’t home at approx 1:30 on a weekday so they could release my car they were holding hostage!! They ended up getting an additional $300+ due to their errors and theirs alone! Poor business practices!

Dishonest, Rude and would not take responsibility for their actions. They are responsible for the contents of all vehicles they tow, and someone took a handgun and tarp from my vehicle when they towed and stored it. When confronted, they had the owner, Casey, call me to discuss the matter. First he denied that there was such an item in the vehicle. Then he said I should have come and taken my things from the vehicle the moment it was towed. I asked why that should matter. My brother, who talked to the receptionist, was told all items were secure. I was blamed for the item being stolen. Then he denied that the item was even in the vehicle in the first place, saying it was my word against theirs and their was no proof of it being in there because they video everything in the vehicles. Really? How hard is it to take an item out before videoing something? Then, when asked about the tarp, he said they threw it away. I asked why, it was personal property. He said they throw everything away after 30 days. I said it hadnt been 30 days so why would they do that. I said he had no business throwing anything away that wasnt theirs. He said they thought it was junk. I said it wasnt junk, it wasnt theirs to throw away. He said it was a mistake. I think someone used it to conceal the gun as they took it from the truck and then threw it away. That seems pretty obvious to me. He said he would replace it. I want him to replace my gun. He was rude, defensive, and awful and clearly dishonest. Do not use this disgusting place. Heed my warning. If you want to keep a good reputation, DO NOT USE THEM!! You may not realize that someone you are towing might have valuables in their vehicle, and these people are the scum of the earth. They will likely take it. Dont be responsible for this kind of thing.

Our car was broke down in Ogden. We called Lost Recovery and they were there quickly and had our car towed to the shop without incident. They were fast, friendly and professional.

Bunch of scam artists. They picked up my car on a holiday so I’d have no way to get it sorted with the bank I had made payment told them that they didn’t care and by towing on a bank holiday I had no way to stop them. The guy waved off the truck when I was asking to get my personal items medications and hand gun. He told me no (which they are required to let you but they don’t care about that) I called all night to get my medication and gun they said they’d try to arrange to have someone meet me, nothing. When I went the next day I had found they went through my car and belongings and taken my gun out. Luckily I had made a report with my local police department due. They have no rights to my personal belongings neither does a bank the rude lady there tried to argue with me about that. When I went to get my car back the next day after clearing everything up with my bank they were extremely hostile to the person giving me a ride. They had cars parked everywhere and tow trucks all over. Then we’re rude about her being in the spot she was just dropping me off at. They don’t give proper receipt documentation and only take cash which is shady. This whole company is shady. I’m going through my car making sure they didn’t cause damage they had my car parked against another car. I was also lied to about getting a credit for the gate fee I had to pay to retrieve my gun and medication. The lady on the phone was rude about that also and tried to over charge me 40 dollars. Stay away from them if you have to. I’m also filing a complaint with my bank they should know the shady people they are in business with.

Had to pay $30 to get belongings back and didnt get all of the belongings! There was a stroller missing and all the paperwork for the car was gone, and they tore the license plates off so that they cant be put back on the car which is going to cost $10 to get new ones! Whoever has to deal with this company Im sorry! They will take what they want of your stuff and throw away the test then lie straight to your face that they didnt steal your belongings! The only reason they got one star is because I couldnt post my review without one

My motorcycle was towed there after it was wrecked. Employees were friendly and helpful with arranging their time to let me look at my bike.

We broke down on a Friday around 6pm and called our mechanic (Extreme Auto, Centerville, Utah). They called their tow contact, Lost Recovery. Everything went so smooth. We want to give these two companies a big thanks for their quick help in a stressful situation.

Horrible company! Damages vehicles, take a pic after the damage is done claiming it was there before even when witnessed. You ask who is going to pay for damages they ignore you, you tell them they have to they get hostile. Dont give any papers, made sign before saw the vehicle, crooks all the way around! Ratings on fb of 2 stars makes perfect sense,Dont trust this company!!

This company is completly unreliable.I called for a tow and she told me it would be an hour but would call if it changed. She never called. So i called after waiting an hour and a half. She then told me it would be an additional 45 minutes. After another hour and half i called again, we had been waiting 3 hours. I told them if they couldn’t be here to tow in ten minutes then we would have to cancel. He said go ahead and cancel. I explained i had waited over 3 hours and this was very discourteous and i would not be using there service ever again. He said ok, and hung up the phone.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They do not care about the customer. I called another tow company and they showed up in 20 minutes.Go with someone else.

Repo vehicles are fun

Had to drive 2 hours to the ogden location pay a fee and when i was finally able to get my belongs that they had already cleared from my car i noticed my prescriptions were missing. Got home and realized my expensive prescription sunglasses were missing as well as my garage door opener and my car insurance information. They said they would talk to the owners son and call me. They havent followed through with anything. Extremely upset.

Made appointment to get my items 3 times, 2 times the lady at the SLC office wasnt there. The office door was unlocked both times, inside on the desk was several peoples repo info (address, phone number account number) also someones W-4 new hire paper sitting on top, social security number and all. By the time someone finally met me there on the third try they had already moved my car to Ogden and cleaned out my belongings. The funny thing is when I was there the first time there was an umbrella exactly like mine in my car sitting behind the door... hmm. Anyway this place was so gross and filthy dirty and the lady and man that work there are just as bad! I will never have this company tow a vehicle for me EVER again. They are terrible at customer service also. All around TERRIBLE!

Horrible place is close when there business hrs say the are open form 8 :00am to 5:00pm lady on the phone star getting all aggressive Hang the phone on me when I ask why the do false advertising of there hrs I drive from west Jordan to salt lake I was prepared to pay the feeds to get my property so disappointed !!!
