Called them for an estimate. The guy was rude and unprofessional. Don’t waste your time or money.

!!! CUSTOMER BEWARE !!!I don’t think I’ve had a worse experience doing business in my life. To the point where I now have to get the police and a lawyer involved because this company was so unprofessional and screwed up so many steps along the way.I became very ill during 2020 which wound me up in the hospital, and through circumstance had to use Lost Recovery’s services. From the get go my friend was almost hit by the tow truck, who drove erratically with little disregard for safety. My car was scratched and scuffed while being secured.While my car was in their possession they took it to one of their yards and stripped parts off of it similar to a chop shop. They also went through and removed all my high value items, brand new electronics, brand new boots, tools, work bags and equipment, and to top it off my prescription medications went missing. They opened my mail, went through my records, and threw my paperwork all over my car. I assume looking for money, more valuables, or perhaps more prescription drugs. They left all my property that couldn’t be potentially resold or traded for who knows what. I assume this was to use as the alibi they gave that “...we never got into your car because an electrical problem...” which conflicts with the response I was given a week later that they did take my stuff by threw it away now. I also wonder if the electrical problem was caused by all the open wiring they left in my car which was sparking and shorting out almost causing electrical fires while I drove my car home.This whole experience has been a nightmare, and an eye opening lesson on taking professionalism as granted. I’m not fooled by the pink ribbons painted on their trucks, for while I was extremely sick and my health was at one of the lowest points of my life this company took advantage of that. It’s very disheartening to see people treating each other this way, especially during the pandemic. I wanted to believe we were all in this together, but Lost Recovery towing has shown me that not all of us are. Some institutions and group are completely self serving and out to only help themselves, regardless of the cost to others.

I have used this company over the years and they have always been fair and fastest to location. The owner is a very good guy that works super hard and sometimes is the one answering calls. Will definitely use this company for anything I need towed in the future.

Let me tell you about my experience, I did not use this company but I was a witness to their actions. A few days ago they picked up a friends vehicle, while speaking to the tow truck agent. She asked if she could get her thing out of the vehicle, he proceeds to flag the driver of the flatbed tow truck off and tells her no you can’t have your things. The next day she’s at the tow yard to get her items and they went through her vehicle and took things out. The next day I bring her down again to get the vehicle home, I pull into what looks like a house driveway. This lady with bleached blond hair comes over and yells at me to back up. I joke with her about how I wish my company hours were 3-5 too, she starts to get angry at me man sorry you can be nice to me. Well while I’m dealing with her yelling at me I have men behind me and she tells me to back up. I tell the guy I’m about to run over sorry but she said I have to back up this instance. They had no parking, there were cars and tow trucks everywhere. Not a single person acknowledge me or even gave a friendly smile. These guys are horrible, I wouldn’t ever use them stay away my friends. There are so many more tow companies out there that run a legitimate company and care about people.

They didnt give out the full information when calling 2 times to ask what is needed to pick up my vehicle from them today. Had to make extra trips back to the company. Make sure to let your customers know when they call EVERYTHING that is needed in order to get your vehicle.

Bunch of scam artists. They picked up my car on a holiday so I’d have no way to get it sorted with the bank I had made payment told them that they didn’t care and by towing on a bank holiday I had no way to stop them. The guy waved off the truck when I was asking to get my personal items medications and hand gun. He told me no (which they are required to let you but they don’t care about that) I called all night to get my medication and gun they said they’d try to arrange to have someone meet me, nothing. When I went the next day I had found they went through my car and belongings and taken my gun out. Luckily I had made a report with my local police department due. They have no rights to my personal belongings neither does a bank the rude lady there tried to argue with me about that. When I went to get my car back the next day after clearing everything up with my bank they were extremely hostile to the person giving me a ride. They had cars parked everywhere and tow trucks all over. Then we’re rude about her being in the spot she was just dropping me off at. They don’t give proper receipt documentation and only take cash which is shady. This whole company is shady. I’m going through my car making sure they didn’t cause damage they had my car parked against another car. I was also lied to about getting a credit for the gate fee I had to pay to retrieve my gun and medication. The lady on the phone was rude about that also and tried to over charge me 40 dollars. Stay away from them if you have to. I’m also filing a complaint with my bank they should know the shady people they are in business with.

It was expensive, but they have friendly staff.

Car died on th freeway called spike with a lady she told me 30 mins and someone would be there.....1 hour later I called and asked what happened to th tow truck and was told a call came in (after I called) and they were taking that call first....worst customer service ever rude and aggressive desk help
