Very nice salon, clean, quite, friendly. Katelyn gave me a great cut and style, she listened to what I wanted and made it happen! Very happy with this salon.

I got my haircut and I was happy with it. so I came back to do a bleaching and a dye and are they okay with it until I got home and then I noticed there were several parts of my hair that did not get covered with the dye so my brown stands out against my blue. I do not bought them for the top of my hair that had yet to be done due to the fact that I actually had to go because it took a lot longer than I anticipated so my review is not about the top of my head just the bottom portion.

Salon Bleu is such an awesome salon! My bestfriend Julia does my hair and she’s amazing! My hair is extremely curly, but she still takes the time to do it for me and doesn’t make me feel bad about having a lot of hair. The other stylist are also very nice and welcoming🥰.

I love the salon, the atmosphere is great because its located on the corner of 25th and Wall. Lots of wonderful products that the staff is happy to show you, along with makeup. But my stylist, Julia is wonderful, she always knows what I want and it turns out perfect. Check it out!!!!!

This is a bit of a lengthy review but if you are considering giving business to this salon i recommend that you read this. I am sad to rate two stars because my first visit was good. The stylist Julia was friendly and provided good results. Unfortunately my second visit, with the same stylist, was a totally different experience. The stylist reached out to me a few months after my first visit seeing if I wanted to schedule an appointment to touch up my dye. I responded within 48 hours to set up the appointment and even requested a second appointment for my mother. After a week of no response I text again to ask for a confirmation. I got a response the next day saying she never saw text but that my appointments were now scheduled. I was told upon arriving to the salon to wait in my car and call to check in before entering the salon, but when I arrived I called the salon 3 times in 15 minutes with no response and finally text the stylist directly and was told I was ok to come in 5 minutes later. The stylist applied the dye and after rinsing my hair waxed my eyebrows. I noticed a lot more of a sting on my left eye than normal (I have been getting my eyebrows waxed at various places for years). When I looked in the mirror I noticed a red welt under my eye brow. When I pointed it out to the stylist she just said it was normal redness and would go away. Unfortunately that was not the case I now have a noticeable scab that is about an inch and a half long under my eye. I believe that the wax was to hot and caused a blister. After my appointment I also noticed that there was still dye on my scalp (no, it was not a stain as it easily rinsed off with cold water). After leaving I called the salon and left a voicemail asking for the owner to call me back. Two days later instead of a call from the owner the stylist text me asking if everything was ok. I voiced my frustrations about the appointment and that I was very much upset that she tried to brush the damage to my eye under the rug. Rather than apologizing for the injury she said “I am sorry you feel like I brushed it under the rug”. A very back handed apology that does not even acknowledge the mistake. I am very frustrated that I only heard from her and not from the owner as requested. Sad to say I will never return here because of this poor experience. I will acknowledge that my hair color was satisfactory.

Julia has been great getting my damaged hair back to healthy! Weekly treatments and cute cuts have made growing out my pixie super easy.

I have been going to Salon Bleu for awhile now, but the last time I was there I thought I should take the time to write a review.First of all I have to say that staff is amazing. Every time you arrive your greeted with a warm welcome and everyone always remembers your name, I love that.I’m lucky enough to have Angie, who is the owner of the salon cut my hair. She is so professional, meticulous and I always enjoy the time I get to spend with her. You can tell she really cares about her clients. I can honestly say that I have never left the salon disappointed, and always appreciate her attention to detail.Thank you Salon Bleu for the great customer service, you guys are the best ! You’re certainly worth the drive from Salt lake.

I have been a patron of Salon Bleu for several years. I have Angie H style my hair and and Angie S do my nails. Both ladies have a very high skill level and I am always pleased with the results. But beyond this, I really appreciate the atmosphere created by the employees. They have created a no gossip zone with ladies who are funny and playful. I always laugh a lot and enjoy my time being pampered. And I leave looking great!

I love Salon Bleu! Every stylist is very kind and caring. They accommodate my busy schedule by helping me schedule my next appointment and always take me in as a walk-in if I need a fresh and clean cut for an unforeseen event. The location, on the corner of historic 25th, is great and picturesque. Also, Sarah does an excellent job cutting my hair every time. We are fortunate to have Salon Bleu in Ogden, Utah!

I needed a trim n cut quick..! The other couple places w high ratings like Salon Bleus did not answer their phones and expected me to leave a message..(poor business etiquette in my opinion)..Salon Bleu was able to fit me in w/in 2 hours of my call..when i arrived there was zero wait time to get in that chair..! I havent had a good haircut in a long time and took a chance and called salon based on the reviews i saw. I was very happy with kinley and she did an awesome job, especially for a newbie but hey everybody needs experience and she did great.

My daughter and I went to Salon Bleu last week for some mommy daughter time. From the moment we walked through the door, it was a great experience. Their new location is beautiful. Everything feels so open with great lighting and very elegant decor. Upon arriving, we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and given a beverage of our choice to help us enjoy our stay. We then were taken to the pedicure room where relaxing music, massage chairs, and smiling staff were waiting for us. Emily and Jordan were amazing. They knew how to have a great conversation with myself and my 13 year old adding to the personalization of our experience. They took great care in making sure every detail was perfect for us. We will definitely be making many more trips to Salon Bleu.

Cassie is awesome! I have blunt bangs and they are very tricky to get even, but every time she cuts them on-point. The rest of my hair looks great too.

Bri has been doing my nails for a couple of years now and I wouldnt go to anyone else! She does a fantastic job with them. She has also done my hair and lashes and does a great job. Love it!

The worst gel manicure and pedicure I have ever received. I went before my wedding and was short on time or I would have had her stop and take everything off and taken my business elsewhere. The girl didnt seem at all focused, and was sloppy and got the polish off the side of my nails onto my fingers. I pointed it out to her several times but she never got it fully clean, saying she would clean it all up after it was cured... I had to remind her thats not how gel manicures work. Once it goes under the light you cant clean it up anymore. As soon as my nails grew even a tiniest bit the gel started to flake up on the sides. She did a horrible job shaping my nails and didnt see a problem with the one she had shaped that had a 45 degree angle to it. The services I received werent worth $5 much less the $60 I paid for them.

Been going to bri for my nails for months. Absolutely amazing!!!♡♡ never leave unhappy! Shes amazing, I definitely recommend her to everyone that wants their nails done.

I went to Salon Bleu because of all the great reviews written about Bri. When I called to make an appointment she was able to fit me that day and was given the best cut in my life! She cut my hair to the EXACT style I wanted and now Ill be going to Bri until she stops doing hair.

I came in to this salon to have my bleached ends dyed back to their natural color. Upon entering the salon I asked for a very experienced stylist. The stylist who worked on me, who is not employed at Salon Bleu anymore, did a god job at my first appointment achieving what I asked for but appeared as if she didnt know what she was doing and went off of the instructions of others. She had other stylists make decisions for her, but the color was good nonetheless and I was ready to leave a good review. The next day I washed my hair (nobody at the salon gave me instruction on how long to wait before washing my hair) and the color came out, my hair had a green tint. I called the salon and the stylist said that the salon would not fix the color for free, but that she would be willing to do my hair elsewhere. This was all done in a seemingly secretive way because she was making it seem like she was going out of her way for something that the salon would not do. I am disappointed that the manager did not have any knowledge of this situation and how easy it was for this stylist to slip this phone call by everybody. She proceeded to dye my hair from root to tip at another location even though I only wanted the ends colored. Upon questioning this as I did not want to lose my natural color, she said that this had to be done for my hair to look normal. She simply placed a dye rather than color correcting and filling my hair first but I decided to trust her. This was my fault for not asking questions about why the salon would not fix it and my fault for agreeing to meet somewhere else to have her do my hair but I am disappointed in Salon Bleus employee selection and how easy it was for this employee to be secretive. I went home and showered and my hair was atrocious - red, green, yellow. My natural color is a dirty blonde. After contacting Kinley about this, she told me that neither she nor the salon would fix it and began to ignore my messages. I then went to Urban Trendz salon in Riverdale where Rosie did an incredible job at fixing the employee from Salon Bleus color, though my hair will never look right because of this. The only positive things I have to say about this place is that the salon manager refunded the money I paid for the color and apologized for the stylist and that the salon atmosphere was very clean and friendly. The manager informed me that the stylist who did my hair quit shortly after doing my hair over a text message and that the summary of my appointment that she made was inaccurate on purpose so that she would not get in trouble. Please hire stylists who are more experienced, mature, and who know how to correctly fix problems. I will be getting married in one and a half months and am very distraught about this situation, all I asked was for my ends to be dyed and I did ask for a more experienced stylist right off the bat. Thank you for the partial refund.

The nails I got done were really poor quality. I cant remember who did them I asked for a design thinking it would look nice. But it didnt Im really embarrassed to show people the design with how bad it is. The nails arent smooth. The edges look awful. I wasted 45 bucks here.

DONT GET GEL NAILS HERE!!! I had my first set completely crack and pieces of my nails break only a day after getting them done plus horrible nail design. Went back and she fixed them and then a day later again my nail broke in half! Dont waist your money not worth the $50 they charge!

Bri is my go to girl. She does my lashes, hair and nails! I wont go anywhere else. She is so fun and never fails to amaze me with her skills. I always have a great experience at the salon and get compliments all the time on my nails! My hair is also the healthiest it has been since Bri has started doing it. If you are looking for someone fantastic and to have a great experience, I would highly recommend Bri Ryan!

I had a not-so-great experience here. A little background first: Ive been growing my hair out and working really hard to keep it healthy. I went to my usual stylist at a different salon so I could go from blonde all over to more of a natural color with the balayage/ombre blonde thing thats in now. Well, despite showing old stylist several pictures, she just added a bunch of dark color to my hair, making it muddy.After reading many amazing reviews for Salon Bleu, I booked a last-minute appointment to get that balayage to help brighten things up. Im not going to name my stylist at Salon Bleu because she was very nice and seemed to have good intentions.She really, really didnt like the dark color my past stylist added, but said it should wash out and fade in seven washes or so. Great, that was a relief to hear. She did the balayage and seemed to know what she was doing. More relief.Then she took me to the sink to rinse, and thats where things got weird.Since she disliked the dark color, she made a spur of the moment decision to do a bleach bath or bleach wash or something. Id never heard of it, but basically she mixed bleach with shampoo and scrubbed it all over my hair. Didnt consult me, didnt explain any of the pros or cons, nada. Just lathered it. I could tell she was getting nervous, she kept pacing around and checking on it.She takes me back to the chair, dries my hair. Then she suddenly decides she should do a deep conditioning, so its back to the sink. Im feeling a bit panicked, especially since I noticed whatever she did turned my hair a golden, brassy, ugly hue.After the deep conditioning, she semi-dried it again, took the cape off and sent me on my way. Now, Ive been to a lot of stylists in my life. Its pretty standard to at least offer to style it and its definitely standard to hand the client a mirror and show her the back of her head and how the color turned out. I was pretty terrified shed made some kind of mistake and was trying to hide it.Its been a few weeks and I really dont like it. The color is weird. Worse of all, its fried. Like, all those months -- years, really -- Ive spent trying to get my hair healthy and shiny and long are down the drain. Its that weird gold-brass color all over. I paid a lot of $$, too, especially for Ogden. I feel like Im going to have to chop off several inches to get it healthy again.Im just really disappointed in the lack of communication. Had she told me about this bleach bath and that it might sap my hair, I wouldve declined and taken the gradual fade from shampooing over time. The balayage seems to look good, but its hard to see it with this weird brassy look I have going now. It seems these bleach baths make it ridiculously difficult to control the outcome of the process, too. Id advise against them in all but the most desperate situations.

I moved to Utah from California and had gotten my hair and nails done multiple places before calling Salon Bleu one day. I was very nervous about trying some ritzy salon, but Bri got on the phone and explained what she does since I had never tried gel before. I walked in there for my appointment that afternoon and it was literally the best experience I had at any salon. Most of the gals there are so nice and friendly! Bri did a fantastic job on my nails. I have now been a returning client for months upon months. Bri does my nails and hair regularly. Girl even taught me the whole eyebrow thing! I have asked Bri and another super cute gal to do hair and nails at my wedding for my entire Bridal party because she is so professional and very personable. The salon doesnt make the experience great, the awesome employees make a salon experience great! I will never trust anyone else with my hair and nail needs... Bri knows her stuff!

I called looking for a stylist whod previously done my hair and was told she no longer worked there, okay, no biggie. When I asked if they knew where she was now the girl was horribly rude to me. Needless to say I didnt make an appointment with a different stylist like Id planned (Had she said, Im sorry, no, but Id be happy to schedule with someone else.). I would never go there after that experience. That was just a phone call, how rude would they be in person? The plus side is, in spite of that I found the woman who Id called looking for and got my appointment.
