I have lived in this complex for just about 3 years, and am moving away in August for school reasons. I love this place so much! I will go over some things that I think are worth mentioning.SecurityI think the security is great. Even though it is in downtown Ogden, it is away from the street a bit and has a short wall around the border, so it is separate in a way. I love that the security team keeps us updated on what is going on if there is anything, and honestly I havent heard anything happening since I have lived here - no news is good news in this case I think. It has been great and I feel safe here. They do let us know when they are changing locks, switching up scheduling, that sort of thing, and the communication has been good.MaintenanceThe maintenance crew is just awesome. They are timely, work fast, and explain what happens if I have any questions. They are respectful and have done their job well. They are just amazing, and I couldnt ask for a better experience working with them, even in times of emergency.PricingThe pricing is completely fair. I have done a fair bit of shopping (granted not lately because I am moving to school) and this was the place I could afford, but even If I could afford somewhere more expensive I would probably stay here. The price is fair and worth everything you get out of the complex. They are even updating buildings and are on top of keeping teh grounds well kept, and it is very beautiful actually. Taking a walk around the complex is nice and relaxing, and you get your moneys worth.Ease of contactIt is easy to go in the office. The hours are clear and they respond quickly, even if you have to leave a message they get working on it right then when they get to it. It is very easy to place work orders, and I havent had any problems getting in touch when I need to for mail or questions regarding my contract, etc.Overall, I really love this place. It was a perfect fit for me, and I think it is well worth looking into if you need an apartment to live in. It is small, but for a studio you cant expect much, and I think the way they treat you makes it a fantastic place to live. I did not go out much, but if you need a social life outside of the complex it is conveniently next to a ton of shops and food. Dont discount this apartment complex, it surprised me how good it was to me, and I hope it does just as well for you too!
Everything is very well taken care of and the staff is as great as it gets. Very helpful and friendly, and always going out of their way to say hello. Plenty of parking and the price is pretty solid. I would give 5 stars if there was a free covered parking and appliances were a bit newer. But overall loved living there!
I have almost no complaints for my time spent here. Me and my wife moved in a few months ago and have had nothing but good experiences. Our toilet broke (and still has problems, but its our fault for procrastinating calling maintenance), and they were there within minutes to resolve the problem. They are very respectful of our space and our belongings when in our apartment. We get 24hr notice any time they have to come in.Security is great at keeping non-residents from parking in the complex. There are a few guest spots throughout, but my friends and family dont mind parking on the road. The pool and hot tub is always clean, and the gym is very nice. Rent is affordable and low for the area. We live in a studio loft, which is small, but for our first apartment its perfect. The neighbors have always been nice, and I have never heard any of them through the walls. There are a few families here, but they dont make any more noise than the other residents.Moving in was easy, too. They approved us quickly and within days we moved in. I didnt feel pressured or anxious by anything. Across the road is a bus stop right on Washington, and its only a few blocks from 25th.The only cons I have for this complex is that its unusually dusty, but Ill take that over mice (weve never had any sort of pest), and our stove is a bit crooked, but thats just being nit picky, and for all the pros it has, the two bad things are forgivable.
Working with Sun Chase to get an apartment was a very easy experience! The Manager and Leasing agent where very professional and knowledgeable about the unit. They took the time to answer all of our questions. We where shown the layout of the apartment before signing the lease so we are aware the units are small. The price point for a 2 bedroom apt in that area and size is spot on. Thank you to the management team at Sun Chase for making our move to your location a smooth and pain free experience! Would recommend :)
Nice apartments. Seem to be well kept. Plenty of parking. Near Ogden River and nature trail.
Great living place. Nice and clean area. The managment is really nice and friendly. Jasmine is really helpful and nice, highly recommend working with her.
I moved into a studio on a 6 month lease. Considering price and location. I could not have asked for a better fit. The washer and dryers work great and club house is maintained and cleaned everyday. A security guard cruises around at night. Theres a racquetball court, gym, and a pool. Make sure you give a one-month notice on moving out.
So I moved in there January 2017, and liked it. Any and all problems were fixed quickly. My Problem comes with leaving. They charge for things that I was told was not a problem by closing inspection people, small paint problems. (since that paint is super sticky my end table and couch pulled paint off when moved). The deep cleaning I did was ignored and charged for cleaning, even though I found stuff from the people who lived there before me, so they dont clean well to start with. The real one that gets me is extra rent due, I payed in full for one more month of rent and then left 6 days early and they charged me $51 extra, for the last 2 days in August, when I was good till Sept. 4th.So in the end good place but at the end they will take your deposit with little reason when you go to leave.
Love the staff, the clubhouse and prices are great! Quiet neighborhood.
Fair prices and fast fixes on appliances and services. Newly renovated pipes and front office with friendly staff, proud to be a resident here.
I have lived here for a year and its a good starting apartment, but here are some things to consider...●Pros: 1 utility power $25-100 (seasonal)Close to down town, pool, hot tub, sauna, gym, good management, dish washer washer, garbage disposal! Security car, mostly quiet, packages are in office to prevent theft.●cons: loft price is $645.00 for about 500 square feet and prices are rising, not central air, windows have problems with apps. warm/cool (seasonal), small oven, short shower, reserved parking is $20 but you get whats open and still not worth it, regardless of apartment position, had things stolen from my vehicle.Road sometimes icy little to no storage. Conclusion: moving to a place cheeper with more room.If it was bigger or less rent we would stay.Hope this helps!
Beautiful atmosphere.spacious apartment. Lovely lifts. Friendly neighborhood. Close to everything you need.
Very quite and we maintained. Lovley appartments. Although there is a Very Large raccoon family in the back by the woods area, that nightly dumpster dive. With out them this would be 4 or 5 starts because it is also conveniently placed.
Lets start with the basics. Their wall unit cooling and heating systems is only good at two things keeping it unbearably cold in the winter and unnervingly humid in the summer. There is little to no air circulation throughout the apartment and when the windows are open you get to hear the neighborhood unruly and unsupervised young children screaming and running around the complex every...single...night. Not as if the poor construction of the buildings could block out any noise on their own, anyway. Thats right every step and word of your neighbors life will float seamlessly into your own apartment. But I digress, lets move to the kitchen where the stoves are so small a standard sized baking sheet doesnt fit, and the burners know two temperatures roiling boil or luke-warm (forget ever simmering anything living in this place). But there are redeeming qualities, like the cabinet spacing? Nope half the cabinets dont open and during my living experience two of the doors fell off only having been held on by industrial staples. And last but not least it has been 5 weeks since Ive moved out and my security deposit is still another 2 weeks out of being returned to me. Funny, since all my apartment dwelling friends and family have never received theirs past 2.5 weeks of leaving any complex they have ever lived in. Now lets get to the God Awful high prices for mediocre living in a crack-addict infested neighborhood. Yes crack addicts, there are two budget, crack motels withing 20 ft of this complexs front door, and low incoming living on the other side of an ill placed steakhouse. The river its across from seems nice enough with fishing individuals and spacious park, but alas the homeless individuals often find refuge in those trees (not to mention a murder has occurred under that over pass that is directly adjacent to the front office.Needless to say unless they lower their prices significantly in the near future it is far from worth living here.
My brother b lives here and they seem like nice Apartments.
This place has no regard for their clients. It is really a shame to see businesses going down hill like this. I had a similar experience to many others on here with the management. They only care about the money in their pocket. It was a nightmare getting into the apartments, but it was even more of a nightmare trying to get out. We ended up paying for an extra 30 days after our lease was originally over even though we werent even living there. I dont know about anyone else, but I dont want to pay for something I dont have any access to. It is a complete scam! Also, these apartments are tiny and not well taken care of. It is not even close to worth the lower rent. By the time we left there was mold in every single corner of the home due to unrepaired roof leaks leaking water down the inside of the wall. They do not keep up their end of the deal in giving you a good living environment.Stay far away from these apartments!!!
Horrible Management, I dont recommend this place not even to my enemies, is that bad, the isolation is horrible you can hear your neighbours snoring and talking. The laundry facilities is comfortable but you have to wait for your clothes cause you will found them outside or over the top of the machine, no respect at all. And Horrible job cleaning the parking area during winter. Look for for something else.
One of the best experiences I had was at Sunchase apartments. The owner-though I have forgotten his name- was always so nice and helpful. Even when I tried to get away with not paying for my cat he was super helpful and wasnt rude about it in any way. The laundry facilities were always clean and the pool and Jacuzzi were always nice. I loved the steam spa room. I havent lived there in almost three years but still to this day I would always recommend them. Their only downfall was the secretary/leasing lady was extremely rude from beginning to end and I almost didnt lease there because of her. Her name was Pam (its pretty sad when you can still remember someones name because of how awful they were). The very first time I called she acted perturbed that I had bothered her and every time I came in to pay rent it was as if I had walked over the bridge she lived under. I hope she doesnt still work there but even if she is ask for the owner because he was amazing. The maintenance was always awesome and there the same day. Other complaints were about hearing their neighbors-I lived on the first floor and the only time I heard my neighbor was when she pulled out her dining room chair every once in a while. I was in the sorority and had 23 girls for a sleepover in my apartment and asked my neighbor if we were loud the next day and she said she didnt hear anything. They could use central air but their ac and heater was fine-wasnt the best but not the worst either. One thing I loved is they had a long grace period to pay rent I think it was like 11 days or something maybe 8? I dont know but it helped a lot.
A few weeks before we were supposed to move in Management called and said we no longer have an apartment. After me and my wife called the manager they moved us to a different unite that we were much less excited about.Toilet has been broken the entire time weve been there. Tried to call a few times and nobody answered, so I had to fix the chain myself weekly. We are now at the end of our lease and since we didnt tell them 30 days in advanced that our lease is ending they are charging us for the 30 days. Of course they didnt call to ask us about renewal until after the 30 days was long passed. Not a good experience at all!
Nice place. Apartments are snall
The owners and managers are liars and thieves, they told me that they could have a new resident in my apart mentioned within 3 days of me moving out, they took almost 2 weeks to even look at it, so I ended up being charged all most 500 bucks to wait for them. I dont like anything about these apartments, people wake you up almost daily and the owners and managers are jerks. Dont rent from them
Great place to get Jacked for everything you own !!!
Expensive and overrated. Just like there sister apartment complexes. Office manager is new every two to three months
Nice quiet place to live
Horrible place they ended up screwing us in the end, the guy is a scam artist dont trust this place!!!!
Bad place never recommend them to any one . they rude and over charge after we leave.
