I have been with Grande since around 2010. While I have enjoyed the service I no longer do. Grande continually goes up by at least $30 per year, my bill is now $200+ per month and Im almost 60, disabled and on a fixed income and they offer no discount for people like me. To I can get all services I have now through dish for less than $100 a month. I will be changing servicesGrande you need to stop being greedy. .

Our household has enjoyed Grande for years, but after a router issue, 3 hours of time on the phone with support, over 24 hours with no internet, and a rescheduled service call, Ive canceled my contract. The last 24 hours have been one of the worst customer service experiences of my life and now Im stuck with a 7-yr-old modem that I need to return to their office, even though its essentially trash. Great internet when it works - not worth the hassle when it doesnt. Dont waste your time with these guys.

Started with Grande a few years ago om an introductory plan around $70 a month. Same service 6 years later and my current bill is $280. Your reward for being a valued customer is an increase in your bill. Even called Customer Service last month in an effort to decrease the bill and was told next month it will be $10 higher.

We have been with grande for over 15 years when you have issues you cant even talk to a supervisor they hang up scared because they know your right. And even worse the staff when you ask to speak to the supervisor they defend them.Worse service they tell you one price and change it over and over and just try to pull more money out of you.I DONT RECOMMEND GRANDE COMMUNICATIONS!!!!!!yall need to make things right.

I have been with grande for going on 8 yrs! What a joke. I am going to be switching back to Cable One. I was with them for 20plus years & get a call or someone came to my door and gave me a DEAL lol I couldnt refuse!! I am, as I sit here waiting for them to open. I have been without cable in our bedroom since Friday and today is Tuesday! Someone came out yesterday evening and was here almost 3 hours. Said it was fixed. Went to bed turned on TV and wasnt working! Of course couldnt get through to anyone by calling. Had to make another appt for Wednesday. But a soon as they open here in Odessa Tx at 9 am I will be on this phone. We pay our bill and are perfect paying customers, of course we are it comes directly out of our account automatically!! I am so very mad. It is sad to take our money and get less than..customer service!! Frustrated and DONE! LaDona Purser.

I had internet through Grande for over a year now and my bill was supposed to be at 70$ a month for 1GB internet. A year down the line not only has my bill gone up twice in 2 months 10$ each time. But I have been paying for 500 megs the whole time! Not to mention I’ve had 2 tech come out and work on my service due to outage issues and neither of them mentioned that I was only getting half of what I was paying for. I’ve been getting lied to for over a year now, and while I called with questions over my bill is when they informed me. I thought about sticking it out because although I’ve had some issues here and there overall the service was pretty good. But after being lied to for so long i don’t think I can trust Grande anymore. The reason I called in the first place was because my bill had gone up 20$ in 2 months. Come to find out I had bigger problems than just my bill.

I called having issues with another Internet provider. These guys were more than willing to step up and become my new Internet service provider. The person that I spoke to on the phone is from the Midwest, has personality and is genuinely a nice person . They were willing to go off script on signing up for service and turn what was in the beginning an angry phone call into one where I was actually feeling all right about the rest of my day. Thats just the 1st half, Then the technician came out and was on time period they asked if we wanted them to wear these little surgeon shoe covers on their boots so that way they wouldnt track dirt or footprints on the floor in... That was just weird seeing how this is West Texas and Im used to dust. But its the little things like this that show they go above and beyond to make sure that everything is 100% for you. He called ahead of time, did all the covid precautions that make people feel safe. They do temp checks on themselves and all that jazz. Their work is neat and fast and the tech was very polite and also informative. Seriously. That guy is gunning for a raise. Havent even gotten to the internet yet. Got the smallest package on the internet, its cheap, fast and a heck of a lot more than what I can use. Ping is low, its decent. Really is. Probably could stream 1080p 60fps with good audio. The only problem is that they are expanding and they are not everywhere yet, give them a call and if theyre not at your area then call at a later date. These guys are great.

Activated internet service for only one week. Was told no install fee, then I was charged an install fee. I then called 3 different days to talk with someone to no avail. Finally chatted with someone and terminated my service after only 7 days.

We’ve been with grande for about 15 years and it started out great but the past five years it’s been an absolute joke prices are ridiculous, we cancelled the cable because of how expensive it was, but the Internet is no better you can’t even make it through a movie on a streaming service without buffering 10 to 15 times and we’ve asked about this issue and been blown off.

I have constant speed problems, the last two appointments were no shows. with service like this you would expect at least a value pricing but no. My internet just went up AGAIN! My internet now cost almost what my cable/internet bundle used to cost. Cant recommend!

Called 1 month ago about lowering my moms billGot it lowered and the customer support person talked me into taking out regular boxes and putting mini TiVo in the whole house and helped me lower the bill substantially-happy at first1 month later and 4 tech visits the TiVo system was simply horrible-freezing and skipping all the timeHad them take the 3 mini TiVo out and put regular boxes back in-moms 94 and doesn’t need the aggravationNext bill comes and now it’s higher than it was to begin with-called and wasn’t happy with support so asked for a supervisor-big surprise one isn’t availableSo took a call back number and 1 week later still no call backTo top it off cable is out on playoff game night and automated system just keeps hanging up after 30 seconds r so-wouldn’t recommend this service

I suscribed to the service in December with a 6 month free router rental. As of today in March, I am charged for the router. When I call them about it, they say the policy changed in January. I told them it wasnt on me to make up for the change in policy, so they could lower barely my bill but not in the way it was before.Be aware and just get your own equipment so you wont be grudged.

I have been with Grande for 5 years just for internet I signed up for the $80 plan. The plan has never changed even when I signed up for the specials Grande offers. Grande internet goes out and comes on daily for some reason, So I started paying attention to it, all together the internet has been out for 21 days 6 hours. No compensation no explanation of any kind. Still better than at&t.

If I could give them a zero I would. Said that to pay for this communication it would only cost 75$ a month. The connection was on and off and at times it would just shut off all together. They really need to take better car of that. 6months in and they raise it up again to 81$ a month. Then again after a few moneth they raise it 97$. Called about that and asked why it went up. They said it’s because 6 months into the program, they charge you the original price. Which really doesn’t make sense since they didn’t even clarify at all if it was a promo from in the beginning. Shady people. And now for this month, they tried and charged my card double the amount. Leaving this company as soon as I can. Going to Try cable one instead.

I live at the Sedona Ranch apartment homes and we are required to use this company as our service provider and to be honest I wouldn’t recommend it.It is very difficult being an online student and having to rely on this provider for my education, I would really appreciate Grande communications if they were to come and take a look and see if there is anything they can do to better what they call “quality” service!

Grande Communications did not have the common courtesy of reaching around the isle without grabbing a lamp shade. In addition, my monthly bill jumped all over the the place. No month was the same, usually 20-32 dollars more. If you change plans while being a loyalty bonus customer HaHa......You get to pay yet more a month. So in a nutshell, after 2 years max. move without a forwarding address.

Worst internet service Ive ever used. The signal comes in and out all day long and doesnt even work at all in the mornings for some reason. Already had someone come out but of course not a single thing has changed. Lady over the phone couldnt have cared any less and just said would you like a $10 credit? 3 times just to shut my husband up. No I would not like $10, I would like my internet to work for longer than 10 minutes at a time please, if at all possible.

I had called 2 months ago for poor signal as everytime we tried to watch a movie or videos on Hulu or Netflix whether using my phone, tv or computer, we were unable to do so as it keeps buffering. I had a technician come out and was charged $49 with no change. I had someone tell me, who works with Grande, that I was receiving too much signal which was interfering with my signal. So it has taken me 2 days to get a hold of Grande with a customer service agent who could have given a dam about my problem and just kept talking about the outage. I explained this is a 2 month problem lonnng before outage and pretty much told me nothing he could do as they were all busy with outage. So they can stick the $49 I owe them since it was not fixed and I am going to try a new company Sparklight. Judith Hernandez

I have had grande for over 10 years. I have kept it through 4 moves. Today I experienced the worse customer service from them. I was having issues with my EERO. On the EERO app you can block devices that are suspicious. My husband had accidentally blocked something that we needed to unblock but the app wouldnt let us.I called Grande and I got a younger male as my rep. He sounded like he had just woke up but I knew it was early. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. As the call continues, he tells me this is out of their scope and that I have to call the manufacture of the product that was blocked. It didnt make any sense and I expressed that. EERO is their product that they offer. His response was well you shouldnt have blocked it to begin with. I asked for a manager. He refused. On top of his rude comments, he was apparently conversing through a messaging system about me because he proceeded to read everything he typed. Example: Told customer we cant help her but she is still asking for a manager. Manager says to tell customer that we cant help her. I already told customer that but shes still asking, then he laughs and says see... we cant help you. He told me I could hang up and try again.I called back and ended up getting another rep who fixed my issue but the damage has been done. When I complained about my previous call, there were no notes on my account (shocking).10+ years Ive used Grande... and after this one really rude, unprofessional call, I want to take my business elsewhere.

When I first got them in August 2018 they were amazing. My bills stayed the same then February of 2019 when I moved to a new location my bill started jumping. My last bill had a “one time charge of $237.97” the bill before that had “one time charge of $71.32”. Waited on the tech line 45 minutes no answer go annoyed so hung up. I will be taking my business else where. I don’t even have the cable. Really liked them in the beginning but not anymore.

I noticed our bill went up $30 and called to see why. Our system was outdated and I needed to upgrade our device to lower the price. Our system had slowed down and they dont notify you of the upgrad needed. A few months later we moved and had to cancel our service since they dont service this area. The equipment was accidentally boxed up and not able to return at the time. The rep I spoke to when canceling said that was fine but to return it when we can. We received a refund since we canceled mid-cycle. I assumed my card was off the account from that conversation. We when suddenly get a notice our account went negative because they drafted our account. We were not notified of this possibility of a draft. The rep we spoke to about the draft made it seem like, oh well not my problem just returne the equipment and well give you the money back. They just told me there was nothing they could do since they already have the money. That was a quote from the manager. That money was needed and now were stuck.

Called today about an issue with my bill. I waited on hold for 32 minutes for the customer service rep. When I voiced my concern for such a long wait time she told me if I would pay my bill on time I wouldnt have to call and be on hold for so long. I asked to speak with her supervisor so she hung up on me! Very unprofessional to say the least.

Weve had Grande for many years and it seems that the service and customer service is getting worst and more expensive! Rates go up out of nowhere quite frequently and they always have an excuse that doesnt make sense! We are paying for the best internet service they have and yet its always searching or just disconnects when online and all they have to say is, just disconnect it and reconnect it. Thats not what I want to be doing over and over while paying alot of money for the service. Im done and hope yall dont make the same mistake by having them as a provider if yall are shopping around!

I can’t not be more upset with this service at all! I would not recommend it at all. My bill was suppose to be only $87 then it went up to $147 and now it’s $200 BECAUSE OF SALES TAXS. When I asked why so much for sales taxes they said because our taxes depends on our package and that’s something they can’t do nothing about. Honestly sounds like a scam to me and I hate to say this but I feel they are stealing my money ! THEY SHOULD HAVE THIS ADVERTISED IN THEIR WEBSITE, FLYERS OR WHEN WE ARE ON THE PHONE GETTING A “DEAL”. Purchased my own modem to save a few bucks on my monthly bill which was suggested to me by one of the techs at Grande. Another tech walked me through swapping out my Grande modem for the one I purchased and did a bit of trouble shooting to get it online. Very polite and very knowledgeable.

My bill is so ridiculously high, over $200.00 a month. Now they say they are charging me for the mini cable box that I was getting for free as a promotion. If I didnt ask for it why give it to me then charge me. Their installer is the one that installed it, so I figured thats what I was supposed to have. Im paying for channels that are not even seen, tons of sports channels and like 7 news channels. Any good channel has to be paid extra, as if $211.00 a month is not enough!!!! Then they offer me showtime free for 1 year, the movies on showtime are OLD! nothing new, so why do I want something Im not going to view. Then I call them and they say, well we can switch you to the basic channel lineup well thats a lot of help. Unfortunately they can get away with that, If I lived in a bigger city with more options they wouldnt be charging this.

I wish I could post comment with no stars but I give them 1 so that I can post.Very bad internet and cable service and to top it all off even worse customer service.I have had Grande Cable/Internet since July,,, I have had to call for poor internet and cable at least 4 times already. Internet modus/router was swapped out and problem continues. Called 2 wks ago and had reset signal sent 2 days later problem continues. Called tonight to ask for tech to come out... no can do till 2 more days. Ask to speak to manager and there is not one available... Ask to have a call back tonight from manager and I am told maybe someone will call.I had AT&T Uverse for 13 plus yrs without any issues,,, 3 months with Grande and 4 calls with issues.

First college game day of the year!! Been waiting on this for months. My team is playing on the SECN. I turn to that channel and it states Problem with signal. Trying again. (V53). I call and get informed that it could possibly be my coax cable that needs to be replaced. No other channel is affected. How did my silly little coax cable pick out that one channel to cut the signal on? It absolutely baffles me. They offer to send out a tech later in the afternoon. How nice! The game will be over and my hopes and dreams of the perfect opening day for college football in 2015 is crushed. Thanks Grande! You should use non-discriminatory coax cable in the future that doesnt randomly select individual channels to block the signal on. Ill just sit here and wish I could watch this game.

Got a bundle package for 89.99 I got my first bill and it was 150.00 they charge you for so many fees and surcharges I would not lie about 50.00 worth of fees so watch out make sure you ask what’s the grand total. The customer service people on the phone where real nice and very helpful if it was not for there customer service people I would have cancelled my service come on grande how can you charge so much in fees and taxes !!!!!!!

Service always goes out when it rains and then works intermittently for the following 2 days. Nothing is ever resolved when the tech comes out because it is usually back up by then but then it will go back out when he leaves. Been dealing with this for years.Ive upgraded to 4 stars since they separated the lines to each of my devices. Works better than it has ever had now.

We have had service for about a year and there it nothing but problems. Paying over $200 for the internet to randomly go out for hours/days with no estimated times itll be restored. I cant even count how many times Ive had to talk to a representative to troubleshoot my internet or had issues with my cable not working. I have about had it and will be looking for other companies to do bussiness with. Paying over $200 a month for service that never works seems pointless to me

Ive had problems with billing since I started service, and they have constant interruptions in service. I was always told grande is the best service in town. But Ive had nothing but headaches out of this service. Will be switching back to att uverse asap. Ive given grande many chances to correct these issues and they keep happening. Too bad I have to give at least 1 star because they dont deserve it! Absolute horrible service! Called to get internet set up, was told there’s no deposit or any payment required and the tech would be here today (July 22) at 1-3pm to install it. 30 minutes before they were supposed to come install it, Tausha Day called me to tell me they cancelled my install because we hadn’t paid the deposit. When I called her out on saying we didn’t need to pay anything she turned around and basically called me a liar, and said that there must have been a “miscommunication”. Now if we want it, we have to wait another week to even get installed plus we have to pay a deposit. Not only that but she ran my credit without my permission! I told her “DO NOT run my credit” and she still did so which is illegal. I took off of work today for this! Lying scammers! UPDATE: Tech finally came today Jul 25 and installed it. Well we paid for 1GB and we aren’t even getting 1/2 of their smallest package and now we can’t get them to come back and fix it 5 mins after the tech left. This company is a JOKE!

Went to turn in my equipment. The serial number sticker was missing on the back of the Tivo mini so Im now being charged $120.00. Ridiculous. I was hassled on the return of the equipment even before my service was scheduled to end. Not a good company!!!

This is MY opinion. I had grande for 5 years, and I never had an issue. Excellent customer service, fair and reasonable pricing. Of the cable internet providers in the Basin, I say they are the best- NO DATA CAPS. I would recommend Grande Communications to a friend.

Been a grande customer for a long time.The reliability is just absolutely terrible.I have to reset my modem almost once a day, sometimes several times. I have moved residences, switched modems and all cables several times and had techs out to check my lines and equipment.. Always to say everything is perfect, yet I can never rely that my internet is going to be working. Extremely frustrating to pay several hundred dollars a month only to not even be able to use the services reliably. At this point I do not know what to do, I’m always told that they need to send a tech, which they can’t do for several days as the techs are so busy or understaffed, except I have had numerous techs out only to not solve my issues and still get charged.. it’s just great being charged over and over and never having any of my issues fixed, at some point you just have to give up and realize the company can not fix their issues and I can’t talk to anyone that can help me as the help lines are just a continuous cycle of “reset your modem and pull out the coax cable” ok that’s not working we need to send a tech out. Rinse and repeat.

Connection is always down! I missed work twice due to internet and phone problems (not connected and couldnt be fixed remotely). Once at 11pm. Another day at 11:30 am. A few days in a row in Nov and Dec. No, it wasnt a maintenance issue or rebooting locally. I pay almost $200 for cable, internet and phone. No bueno.Find another company. Run!

Updated!!! 2 years ago when we first started with Grande it was great fast service and now its slow and their speed tests are never near the 600 mbps I pay for. Which I have complained about multiple times and they just want me to buy more stuff like a Wi-Fi extender... Why should i have to pay for something more when Im paying for 600 mbps in the first place? Not to mention their customer service peeps are extremely rude. I do not recomend.

When I first signed up with Grande years ago the speeds on my internet was beyond reliable. That was in the ballpark of 60, as time went on and faster speeds were made available I naturally upgraded. Since September of 2016 I have been dealing with the issue of not getting the speeds Im paying for. I pay for 300 and just ten minutes ago using various speed testing software (including their own) I get 10-48 max Download and around the same upload.This has been an ongoing issue of excuses and argument from grande. Theres always something that is stopping 100% performance but never really communicate what the issue is or how to solve it. Call center people will detect a problem then a tech comes out and runs the same hullabaloo like restarting a modem then somehow on their end they never detect a problem. Im glad to see I am not the only one experiencing this same song and dance especially when Grande wants to charge me for sending out a technician. It was great for awhile now Grande Communications seems like a joke. Probably going to switch in a week, if not sooner. If I could give zero stars I would, find another ISP.

Worst customer service Ive ever witnessed. We called to expand our services into another office and they never showed up for the appointment. Not only were we not able to contact anyone in the office for days and when they did, they were very rude and unprofessional. Never use Grande if there are other options. If there was an option to leave a negative amount of stars then I would.

As a gamer it’s important to have a strong internet connection and I’m constantly dropping connection with this ISP.The only answer I’ve gotten over the past few months of this problem is “we are looking into this problem and we apologize.”One positive thing I have to say is that I’m glad I don’t use their cable tv.

If I could give zero stars I would. Service is always dropping, prices are expensive and they seem to pay their tech support to sit there and reboot your modem (which any normal person would do before they even attempt calling). Once the rebooting attempt fails (which you already knew it would) they write you up a ticket for the tech guy to come to your apartment which is always a time when you cant be at your apartment/house. Unfortunately I cant get any other service provider in my area so Im stuck with this service.

Worth customer experience ever. service is to expensive for what is being provided. switched to different provider getting twice services for 1/2 the price. the internet dropped constantly, Tivo system lost connection constantly.

Service is always coming in and out. When u get somebody out to fix cable lines they wanna do just enough to get by and not fix it right. When first started using this service it was a good deal now its just getting really expensive everytime I get the bill it seems to go up a lil more.

Good customer service. Never charge to come out and replace everything. Too bad that didnt fix anything. Crappy internet service for the past few months. It used to be awesome for years. Now that they forced me to use the wireless modem combo its terrible. I have to call at least once a week, if not daily for them to say theres nothing wrong, reset some stuff and it will work ok for a while. Paying for 200mbs getting 30-90 plugged in hardline no other devices on with the patch cables that came with modem. Sad really.. guess its back to cable one.

Have had Internet with them for 2 months now and it has been kinda usable for browsing i have constant connection issues call and I get 2 types of support people some say there is nothing they can see and ask if I want a tech to come out and sometimes I get someone that tells me all the issues they see with our connections and they recommend a tech comes out. Have had 4 techs come out and each complained about the call support people saying they dont understand how they can see somthing wrong with the modem from where they are and these are the people who are supposed to repair my Internet? had a guy unplug a wire outside and leave it in the ground cause he said he didnt know what it did but after he unplugged it our TV was still on so it must be OK. Next guy that came out complained about somthing the last tech had done outside cause he put a rusty 4 port splitter on our wires and left the new 3 port splitter on the steps and we only have 3 wires. Now we are waiting for a superviser to come out all in all the service has been a joke if you just want to browse the Internet it might work OK but if you play any sort of games our stream alot of TV I would now recommend it

I wish I could give 0 stars. Ive had grande for about a year+ now. I switched because they dont have data caps. Well from what Ive learned thats probably because thats the only way theyd get customers because their service is so garbage.I only use internet but when I first got their service I got cable for other people in the house. Everything worked great for about a month or two, then the problems started. Our cable wouldnt get any channels and our internet speeds were starting to drop at night. I was paying for 300mbps and I was lucky to get 150. Though that still should be enough for gaming (the whole reason we got grande) I still got constant lag or even disconnected from games completely. So after having techs come out 10+ times with no fix, we upgraded to the Gigabit system. The first day we could get 800mbps, for the next few weeks we got 400-600, and now a month later we get 30-150mbps.... they sent out a senior tech and they replaced everything they could and now its even worse! Our internet was out completely for 5 hours last night and today its constantly dropping.TL;DRDONT GET GRANDE IF YOU ARE GAMING/STREAMING(P.s. While writing this my internet dropped completely and has yet to start working again)

How about you inform people when you are going to perform maintenance on everything so that we dont plan things online that are timed and end up without internet in the middle of it all. This is BS no warning. The service number says performing scheduled maintenance so dont say you didnt know about it when it was SCHEDULED!!!!!

I used Grandes internet from June, 2015 to March 2017. The service was okay. I was always able to connect. I connect to my home service from work using GNU ssh constantly. There is internet service available in the Permian Basin from Cable One that is more than twice as fast for the same price (at the time of this writing). My experience is that Cable Ones customer service is better, too-- whether were talking compassion over the phone or technical expertise in person. Ive never subscribed to Grandes cable service. My parents have cable with Grande. I know theyre forced to use one of those goofy Tivo boxes. And, it is ridiculously hard to use. Just changing the channel is hard to do. Plus, the box is always recording television programs no one told it to record. Thus, the DVR runs out of space all the time. I happen to know Tivo is the only service Grande offers now. So, I wont be signing up for cable from Grande any time soon, either.

Best cable, internet company in Odessa for the first 15 years. Last 3 years have been not so good! I have been using Grande since they arrived in my area in Odessa. Now, service is terrible. Equipment, internet has no guarantee of speeds and cable tv equipment is so-so. Times are changing. Grande merged with someone else. No longer a Texas company and it shows! Glad I dont have phone with them! They wont even do contactless swap of equipment!

Ive had a cable/ internet bundle for a over a year now. I get about 76 channels. My last bill was 467 dollars my bundle was supposed to be about 100 a month. Customer service couldnt explain why my bill has been so high for the past year without belittleing me.
