My son and I were buying a used car and the auto parts store referred me to HIS Auto. We took the car there for a safety check and to see if any major repairs were needed. They were great and spent about 1/2hr driving and going over the car. Found some things and gave me estimated repair costs. Completely honest and explained the little things they looked for. I wish we lived closer as mechanics like this are hard to come by. If you live in the area and need a mechanic this would be a great choice.

I had a great experience here today! After buying and trying to install a battery from Advance Auto Parts down the road from HIS Auto, I realized I was going to need help removing a stripped battery terminal. Without an appointment, I drove my car and the battery from Advance Auto Parts down to HIS about 20 minutes before closing on a Friday, and despite the staff already working on a car, Jonathan took time to look at it. He then removed the old battery and installed the new one outside the bay, even as it began to rain!I was very impressed with how welcoming the shop was and their eagerness to help me. I definitely would recommend someone giving them a look!

These guys are great. They really know my vehicle and dont use the fact that I am a woman play into any of there advice. We moved to town four years ago and tried other shops (no longer in town). They were arrogant and had really shady recommendations (per my husbands knowledge of vehicles). Andy has a warm disposition and a child friendly waiting room.

My car is getting older, and I have been checking around to see who does repairs, but most importantly who is honest. That...Is difficult to find as we all know.Andy was recommended, and the shop is a few minutes from the house. Bottom line is this: This shop is like auto repair shops used to be. Both of these guys talk straight, are extremely knowledgeable, honest, and totally have it together. This business also uses a parking lot next to it for all of the overflow of cars. My story. Not a local, driving through oconomowoc and my electrical starts to go. I manage to get my car into the parking lot of the first repair shop I find. Leave a message at His auto and eventually get back home. I get an estimate (called my local guys for comparison, price was fair), the guys are great working with someone who isnt a local, ends up being a smaller problem with a smaller bill and accommodating when picking up my car. I couldnt have been more lucky that my car ended up in thier lot. Its hard these days to find people you can trust to work on your house or your car. These guys are a rare breed. Its great to find a mechanic you can trust. Its also just good to know that there are hardworking trustworthy businesses around these days. Thanks again guys.

These guys were great! I has squeaky brakes on Tuesday, I called on Wednesday afternoon and they had me in by 4pm. They called at 6:30pm that my car was done and I picked it up! Super nice crew, excellent work and very affordable.. almost $200 cheaper than what another place in town quoted me for the exact same work. They didnt try to upsell me or make me fix anything I didnt want to fix. This was our first time using HIS and we will be back.. We will totally be lifelong customers.

I dont recommend you go there...They kept my car for 2 weeks only to not be very clear on the Problem!!!!!!!! Only to give a low end on the price of $1200.00 And that was low end....I took it some where else to get a price of $ 800.00 to repair.....Now whats wrong with this picture?????
