Mia is wonderful! A true master at her craft. Goes above and beyond to make sure her clients are happy!

It looks deceptively small from the outside but is actually pretty big in size inside. Organized and clean. Runs like an efficient, well-oiled machine. Adhered to social distancing protocols. My stylist Suzanne is very talented. Went in with fried, damaged hair and came out with soft, beautifully-colored, conditioned hair. Highly recommend !

My first experience didnt go so well. However I was called back in by the manager who explained to me why things went wrong with my first visit. So I figured hey everyone deserves a second chance and OMG. Totally worth it! I met the owner. She is by far one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She was very courteous. She took her time with me and went explaining everything every step of the way. My hair came out perfect!! I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a salon in Oceanside. The ladies here are amazing. Great customer service, they follow COVID guidelines and most importantly they know how to do hair. I really appreciate the service recovery. I’ve been on a long hair journey for a while now, researching colorists and stylists, never getting to the end result where I am absolutely in LOVE, until now.Mia and her team are literal rockstars.From the moment I walked through Salon Montaage’s doors, everyone I came into contact with was so beyond welcoming and friendly. I’ve been to so many salons where the owners, or head colorists think their “s#!$ don’t stink”, while getting a “I’m better than you” kinda vibe.Not the case here- felt as though I was kicking it with girlfriends I’ve known for a while. Which in my opinion, is overall key to success; understanding and listening to your client, makes everyone across the board happy.I cannot express enough how professional, yet genuine everyone was. It truly made my experience that much better. Ok, I get it “it’s just hair”. But for me, it’s a huge deal. Today they really gained a lifelong customer. BIG BIG thank you to Mia, Samantha & Victoria. I couldn’t of been happier with everything. Btw, my hair smells like a Milkshake and I’m LIVING for it.Salon Montaage deserves your business.

I had such a great experience at Salon Montaage. It is the best salon on Long Island. Amazing atmosphere, everyone is friendly. I love that it is a one stop shop as well. If you are not a customer yet, I highly recommend you go and try it out, as I am sure you will remain a client going forward. If I could hire Richie A to style my hair every morning I would.

Best experience I ever had at a salon! I got the best highlights and haircut that I have ever gotten in my entire life ! Mia is truly a master at what she does and really cares. To top it off she is a delight to be around! If I could give it 10 stars I would !!

This experience was truly terrible. I paid to have my hair blown out and curled for a fancy event. It looked like a second grader took a curling iron to my hair, my hair was jagged and just looked like a mess. It would have looked better had I done it myself. I wish I had for the $55 dollars I spent. I was truly shocked that I would receive such poor service at a salon. I have NEVER experienced this anywhere. They hire incompetent staff that are not familiar with how to use a brush, blowdryer or curling iron. It was scary to see Carole (the women who did my hair) try and use a curling iron, she looked as if she had never used one before and by the job she did- I would say she had not. There are many other salons in the area that will do a much better job and care about their customers experience and satisfaction- this place does not. They refused to refund me. I can understand doing a poor job but make it right and accommodate the customer and offer a refund.

I go there with my daughter to visit my old home town while she gets her hair colored by the best hair colorist on Long Island Ronnie Thomas nobody colors hair better. My daughter knows she is very picky and has had her hair done before Ronnie by many. All the girls that work there are so nice and friendly, they even bring me coffee if I wait for my daughter. My daughter told me this is the best hair salon on Long Island . We travel from Wading River Suffolk County to get there Try Salon Montage you will be very satisfied

Love Salon Montaage and will definitely be back when we visit Long Island. Very big, lots of chairs, friendly staff and the prices are as much as any other salon in the area. Definitely recommend! Loved my haircut!

Demitra. Is. AMAZING. So, I had some last minute free (no child) time, on a Friday, with a wedding to attend on Saturday. I drove by the salon and decided to see if anyone had any openings for a walk in. I called from the parking lot. The woman who answered the phone was very pleasant and helpful. I was invited inside to have a colorist look at my hair. Walking in, I was greeted by Demitra and the women at the front desk. Everyone was super nice and VERY accommodating. They got me in, for cut AND color, on a Friday afternoon!Once in the chair, I showed Demitra a couple photos of what I was looking for. I wanted to go lighter, from dark brown. I also know that lightening is a process that doesnt happen in one visit, so I gave her full creative power to come up with something that worked for my hair and face. She did not disappoint! My cut was awesome and my color exceeded the expectations I had! My hair felt healthy and soft and I couldnt be happier! Will 100% be back to see Demitra.If youre looking for a salon that is fairly priced, has highly qualified stylists (I noticed other people leaving with beautiful hair too) and is unpretentious, then I would definitely recommend this place to you. Thanks everyone for a great experience! I will see you soon!Quick tip: Bring cash to tip your stylist and shampoo person! They cannot add tip onto your card.
