My wife and I love to get massages at NuZen. We are used to paying for massages in Manhattan or in vacations. By comparison, the ones at NuZen and much less expensive, yet just as good if not better. The quality of the manni/pedi is also great.

Excellent spa. I have been going here for a few years. I typically get a a massage and I do the body scrub. Apple is amazing. I got my prental massage last week and she did such an awesome job. I was in so much pain and apple did trigger point massage to relief my pain. I have been to massage envy and hand and stone for prental massages and they do nothing for me. They are so scared to touch you and plus you pay a fortune with their membership. If you want a real massage please come here.

NuZen is a hidden gem located in Oceanside, NY. A beautiful, zen- like spa experience greets you as you ascend the stairs to the upper level. Dim lighting, beautiful decor, soft music and proficient masseuses all add up to a relaxing, memorable experience. When the hour is over, the relaxation continues as there is no rush to leave once you return to the waiting area to drink your water or green tea that you chose before your masseuse left the room to let you change. Complimentary granola bars and/or Belgian chocolate are always available as well. Upscale spa experience at reasonable pricing makes this a spa you can frequent more than on just a special occasion. I have also had manicures and pedicures on their first floor nail salon and haven’t tried their skincare services that I am sure don’t disappoint.

NuZen is a calming & relaxing place. Decor is elegant, yet understated. They genuinely do the best in their personal service, to make you feel that its,all about you . I had the pleasure of having my Dip Powder refill done by Vivian. She is caring, comforting and above all, able to multitask! I did not have an appointment, but took the chance of going in. She told me I would have to wait sometime. I took my chances to wait & was glad I did. Vivian effortlessly checked on me in between times when her customer had her hand under the UV light. All in all, I ended up leaving the salon only about 30 minutes later than I had hoped to leave! She does wonderful work. I returned yesterday after having her do a spa pedicure for me on November 17th. This time, I left with beautiful nails. I call it Santa ready with a touch of diamond snow.

Just moved to Oceanside this summer, I was looking for a new nail place and found NuZen. Incredible! clean, professional, and relaxing environment. Quality and wide variety of products. workers are very nice and welcoming. I am a new regular !

This is my first time getting my nails done in a year and a half and I dont remember it being painful. The nail tech glued my finger to my nail a few times and when she filed my nails she often hurt me.The tips that I did get (1 of each hand to match the length of my natural nails) are not on my nail fully so there is a huge gap between my nail and the tips. This can and will allow bacteria to build on my nails. Wont be coming back

I had a really positive experience coming here for a self-care day with my sister. The earth tone decor and atmosphere are perfect for helping to put you at ease. Overall it is a clean and relaxing space. Everyone who works at NuZen is wonderful at what they do. Definitely the perfect place to go to unwind.

This spa was the best experience. The workers were fast and efficient and the work was top notch. Social distancing was heavily enforced and masks were worn by everyone.

Honestly my new go to nail salon. Only been here a few times but have felt very comfortable each time. The ambiance is very relaxing, equipment is clean, staff is friendly [Vivian was amazing], and their work is good. Each time I’ve been, I’ve had the Marine Pedicure and it was fantastic. They use a timer for the massage so you know you’re getting what you paid for. Definitely recommend!!

Had the best hot stone massage of my life and my sister, who took the facial option, was positively radiant. I couldnt find a place that was even comparable in menu offerings, price, aesthetics (interior design), and professionalism.

The worst pedicure and powder gel Ive ever had. I have polish all over my toes, and overall it wasnt worth thr $20 for a pedicure bc the girl rushed through it. The dip powder gel was a nightmare. They used the wrong quick dry at first so I had to have one whole hand redone. Then she got the clear coat all over my fingerson both hands and the powder stuck between my nails and my skin. It was just awful, the whole thing.

My husband surprised me with a couples package. It was quite an experience. Very friendly staff. Clean environment. Would recommend to anyone.

An amazing experience from start to finish. You can find a parking spot NuZens designated parking lot right in front of the spa. Walk in and youre greeted with a warm smile. Make sure youre on time for your appointment! The environment is zen-like, with the mani-pedi stations on the first floor. A walkway up to the second floor (!!) leads you upstairs to a comfortable setting with couches as a waiting area. Down the hallway youll find several single and double rooms for face and body work. Great place for body work, have been here twice and will be going back.
