Let me start of by saying the service is horrible. I went in for a pedicure and paid extra for callus remover and an extension on the big toes. Not only was the lady who did my nail rude and lazy she did a horrible job. My acrylic nail came off 2 days later. The callus remover I paid extra for didn’t work my feet literally looked the same. I don’t have bad callus so it would have been gone if she had actually scrubbed my foot. Then I paid for a foot massage and she literally just lightly rubbed on one calf. She kept giving me dirty looks and not responding when I tried to make conversation. She was really rude and unprofessional. I feel like I wasted money on services I didn’t even get.

Weve been here twice for pedicures now. Its a busy nail salon. The ladies are all friendly and skilled. They have almost a dozen massage chairs, so its easy to get an appointment. Its a clean, positive environment to enjoy a little pampering.

Great service, they are very friendly and attentive. I had a picture of exactly the design I wanted and she exceeded my expectations! My nails lasted 3 weeks, I will definitely be back soon!

Kelly was great and made my experience amazing I tiped her $30 for my appreciation of her great work. I have two kids and Im tired and run down. I left there feeling like a hundred bucks. Thank you Kelly 😊 My eye brows look awsom and my pedicure was very needed Ill be back soon.

Today I had such a sweet lady named, Martha, take care of my nails. It honestly felt like she was doing my nails to the quality she would want her own done. I’m so happy with the end result!! Thank you Martha!!

I enjoyed every minute there. I took my mom with me and she loved it as well. The people who did our manicures and pedicures were so nice and so professional I wish I remember their names. I didnt have an appointment and I got so lucky to get a seat right away... I cant wait to go back!

I stumbled upon this location by looking at the Google reviews. I called prior to arriving to make sure they werent book for the day. Told them I could be there in 10 mins, lady on the phone said that was fine. I came in for a fill, had to check in and was seated right away :) I believe my nail tech was named Tammy? I think she did a great job and was able to do the shape I wanted when I showed her the photo as reference. I was hoping for a light blue but they were out of that color I picked, but nonetheless, it still came out pretty :) The environment felt welcoming. I was asked if I wanted anything to drink...a man came over and offered water or orange juice. :) They had music playing and Netflix on TV. :)I will be coming here from now on. Thank you!

Never have I felt dismissed or disrespected the way this facility made me feel. My tech was aggressive with my nail bed, slammed the UV light on my nail and then blamed me for ruining the polish, and when I asked for my nails to be fixed stated They look fine. I see nothing.My nails on the underside were left with shaved acrylic fragments. There were visible fibers left under the polish and visible missing polish. My cuticles were SHAVED down, dry and brittle. I was left soaking over 15 minutes in acetone, which left my hands irritated since they wrapped a bag and then placed a towel over them.I had to go back and speak to the manager, who also stated the nails were okay. Never again returning to this establishment.

This is the only nail salon that I’ve been to that I didn’t feel like I’m being talked about in another language while I’m getting my nails done. They also offer complimentary drinks to you when you’re getting your nails done too. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is in need/want to get their nails done.

This is my second time coming here and i love it !! I came with my Mom and little sister without an appointment and waited about 5 minutes which isn’t bad at all considering i didn’t make an appointment. The nail tech i got (i wish i had gotten her name),did such an amazing job I love how my nails turned out. Little sister and Mother also very pleased with their sets :) Will be coming again !

Was my favorite go to place up until I got denied service by Mr.Greeter at the front door. An hour till closing & couldn’t fix a chipped nail proven to be caused by their cheap gel polish. The first time I did gel nails they lasted over 3 weeks & this time they didn’t want even make it through the weekend. Only a couple of actual artist in there but due to this experience never again.

Worst nails Ive ever had. I did a basic gel mani/pedi. They didnt paint the side of some of my nails and there is fuzz and gritty stuff all over my nails you cant see in the picture.

I am surprised this place has 4.3 rating. I went there for my pedicure and was totally disappointed. The service was of substandard quality, the quality of nail color used was very cheap and the staff was rude. The lady doing the pedicure was behaving as if she was doing a BIG favor on me . I am definitely not going back there. The whole experience sucks!! Not recommended!!

They did an excellent job on the services I received. I’m very happy with the finished results. The only complaint I have is that I told the technician I wanted the “Joy pedicure” and I was charged for the Joy pedicure but, the description said that it included a cooling mask and hot towels and I didn’t receive either of those. I guess I should have said something while I was there but I forgot to say anything when I checked out.

My first time here on Saturday. Tammy, who answered the phone was friendly and welcoming. Upon arrival she greeted me again by name and I was assigned to Cynthia. Friendly, professional, found the color I requested. Observed another specialist named Kevin creating extraordinary painted art nails for his client. The salon does the gamut from basic straightforward mani/pedi to the trendy shapes and creations. I will come back. Thank you for having such a welcoming atmosphere.

I had gone to another nail salon and they couldnt get me in until the next day. I stopped by joy nails and even though they were extremely busy, they got me checked in and only had to wait about 15 min. Service was great! My second time here and definitely coming back.

Moved to Oceanside a year ago & tried many nail salons trying to find one I liked. (Im pretty picky!) Then finally I found Joy nails!!! Best one in town! I used to do walk ins and always liked who did my nails but Ever since Kelley did them I don’t want anybody else to. Kelley is very friendly, and a great nail artist. it shows that she pays great attention to detail & cares about the way they look! I can’t find a flaw. I’ve had nails go over a month without chipping easy. I always leave feeling taken care of. Their procedure and space is well prepared & equipped to accommodate this lousy pandemic. Glad they’re open again, thanks again Kelley! See you again soon!

First time here. I wanted to do flare nails but was told that those were old and that they were no longer made. So I settled for square nails. Jodi helped me out today. She’s very kind and did her best to accommodate me today with what she had to work with. I’m just confused on why they would quit making the flare tips?

They did a great job on my nails and my sisters acrylics as well. Cheap pedicures. Take very strict covid restrictions which is great

Judy and Tracy did a wonderful job on all services. I had only been here one time prior to this visit and they have done alot of upgrades to the place. I will definitely be making this my go to place for mani/pedi and dip powder and gel.

I got a full set by Mimi and not only was she FAST but it was the best my nails have ever looked! I have never had luck when it came to shape and she gave me exactly what I asked for. And to top it off she was incredibly kind and had the best energy. I have referred her to everyone I know that gets their nails done.

Joy Nails is the best, I cant recommend them enough. All of their technicians are friendly, professional and skilled. Kelly is my go-to technician, she does the best dip nail manicure! Tammy is wonderful as well!Theyve gone above and beyond to ensure the health, safety and comfortability of their customers during COVID-19. Theyve spaced out all their stations, installed protective plexiglass dividers/ partitions at every station, they clean and sanitize everything between every customer, they keep occupancy low to ensure social distancing, and everyone wears gloves & masks the entire time. I highly recommend Joy Nails & Spa to anyone who is hesitant about going to a nail salon right now.

They didnt speak to me almost the whole time I was there which I didnt really mind. They did a good job on my nails but when done they didnt get any of the powder or anything off around the nails so it looks messy when looking at the hand. But when only looking at the nails it looks good/ok.

This is the second time I go in for manicure gel nails and I was very satisfied not just with the job that was done but with the friendliness of Cynthia, she is always so nice to me and makes sure I go home happy. I will be coming back here from now on. She does a really good job and very good quality.

Do not go hear. I showed the nail tech the design I wanted she burned me and damaged my pinky nail I had to pull away. Language is a huge barrier. Had an extremely difficult time communicating with the owner my issue with the end result. Horrible. Will never be going there again. Never

Horrible service. Paid for pedicures they did terrible job so i asked if they would fix it and was denied. They threw $5 bill at my face and told me to leave. I was nothing but respectful and to be treated like that in front of my child. Is horrible. Then they threatened me on messenger for posting a review

Always get great service and quick but not rushed. I’ve been going here for over 10 years and never had a problem with any technicians they are all knowledgeable and helpful.

My go to nail place. They do a great job and my nails last a long two to three weeks before having to go in for a fill or Mani Pedi

Honestly today was a bad experience for my gel fill, the woman who did them didnt ask me how long I wanted them. She didn’t ask me what shape, she got gel paint all over my hands. They were done really sloppy but I’m not doing to leave the entire salon a bad review based on her bad work.If you go make sure you ask for Demi she’s wonderful and VERY personable too. She really pays attention to detail as well.

First time guest...In town visiting my God-daughter. The outside guest greeter was very friendly and professional who also took my temperature prior to entering the facility. I felt very comfortable going into this salon, which was very clean and they placed me more than six feet from the other customers.Ivy gave me an awesome massage with my pedicure. She was very friendly and thorough and gave my toes the much needed love they were needing. Im very pleased with the services I received today.

Paid $50 for Two nails to break two days after a new full set was just doing laundry.... a week later a whole nails GEL completely peeled off.. looked pretty when I left though..

The staff seem terribly unhappy. Dont pay extra for the foot massage! They are terrible at it (that is, at least my gal was and my friends as well). They put all the pressure on the top of my foot, where its all bone. That hurts. I told her to change how she was doing it. She didnt understand. So, like a cheap one night stand, I just waited for it to be over and got the hell outta there. But alas, I could not leave! She had to repaint my toes, too, because they didnt come out right first time. Before you judge me, please know that I still tipped her well. Not going back.

I’ve been coming here since 2007. The owner updates every few years. Most of the staff have been here for years making the atmosphere clam, positive energy friendly and hospitable. I always recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good nail salon

First time I went here, it was great. Second time, I got a pedicure and the lady that did it scratched my toes with the nail file I have scabs on 3 of my toes and 1 whole gel nail fell off within 1 day.

Great service! They took all appropriate protocols with taking my temp at the door, making sure I was wearing a mask, and had plexiglass in between clients. Let me start by saying that the women who work here are awesome. Everyone was so sweet and we did not have to wait long at all. The reason for the 2 stars is I paid about $140.00 for my daughter and I to get mani/pedi both with gel so for the price I expected it to last. Its only been 4 days and both of our gel polish is peeling off. Not to mention that 2 of my nails have streaks where theres no polish and you can see the nail. The place is very clean though and staff is great but wish the nails lasted. I got gel because I thought it lasted 2 weeks. Bummed for how much money I spent.

The lady I got was way too busy trying to juggle being the customer greeter/appointment setter, cashier, my nail tech and answering the phones to focus on my nail work I was having done. Between the polish being smudged and missing in parts I dont think I will be returning to this establishment. I only really tried the salong cuh Joy is my sisters name back in AZ an was in my lil sister feels an she was turning 50 so I thot it would be a good tribute .....good sign...

Love my nails! I literally got so much compliments! Very nice sweet people work here, very clean, the best massage my foot so strong and relax my muscles as I stand all day at work. Highly recommend them. They also take me in as walk-in. They gave me a nice cool free beer or sodas.

Ive been there 2 times now and will be back soon I need a fill. They are my new go to nail shop . Great location for us North County folks. Theres many stores on both sides of Jefferson. I get everything done from the Ross side to the Walmart side right on and off the Hwy 5. Couldnt be better.

This is my place now. I love there service. Love how Vivian does my nails definitely going back to her. Place is always clean and busy but I love that they don’t let you wait more then 20 min like other places. Very professional Thank you Viv for my wonderful nails I’ll see you you guy soon 😁

I came in as a walk in and waited a short time to get a pedicure done. The woman who did my pedicure was very meticulous and thorough. Her name is Ky. All their equipment was outside on the sidewalk as well as the use of acrylic panels to help with physical distancing. All staff were masked and gloved so I felt safe. It had been a long time since I’d had a pedicure so I appreciate Ky taking time to clean up my feet! Pricing is reasonable but they take cash only . I’ll be back!

Very busy Saturday morning, they took us in fast. Although very concerned over tips; I rated well because of my daughters experience. I have gone to other local places and ask for my daughter to have nails painted as well, normally they just sit her on a low chair, in and out no attention. I appreciated that they took time with her, did it as it were an adult. Even had a design. My daughter was so happy all day.Thank you.

I came for a gel French tip and a pedicure. First of all the pedicure was done well, but when I noticed it in the car, I could’ve done a better job at home. There’s chips in it and you can see where she just rushed to get it done and not check where my nail started and ended. Sloppy work. I asked them to make the French tip thin because I know my nails would look stupid if they were thick French tips. They didn’t listen and she made them thick, she literally said she wouldn’t do them thick, I kept asking her to do it thin, she obviously didn’t cut back at all. It was still thick and she said they were super thin. Obviously not. I asked them to make my nails pinker because they are kind of dull, they didn’t do that either. She said it would grow out within a few days and it’ll look fine. From my experience of customer service, the customer is always right. The customer service at this place sucks. They’re rude. I come here everytime I need a nail fixing, but sadly this is the last time. They’ve gotten ruder and it really sucks they can’t just listen to their customers.

Every time I go, the staff is super friendly and will take their time to make sure it is perfect. They also do exactly what you want and don’t try to upsell you, or encourage to go longer if you like short nails. I’ve had a very excellent experience every visit

Quite possibly the best nail shop in town. Meticulous attention to detail and powder dips that lasted FIVE WEEKS! (Seriously, the only reason I came in was that my nails got too long!) No lifting, peeling, chipping. Simply AMAZING!

My wife experience was horrible . Don’t go to this place . That was her first and last time she goes there . The lady didn’t even understand what she asked for . She filled the side of skin off and then she put whatever it is acetone or alcohol to clean it . My wife didn’t complain which she should of because she paid for it . Bad customer service . Employees don’t have break room which left her to sit next to my wife eating . I know people are entitled to lunch but she was sitting so close to customer. We should of read all the reviews before going . Pic was taken as soon as she left
