July 2nd 2021 I went in for my appointment for a full set, it ended up costing me $55 plus the tip. sadly two of my nails already came out and have two more lifting. Two came out within 3 days. Nails definitely did not come out the way I wanted them. Nail polish came out terrible as well. If it was a $25 dollar acrylic nails job I would understand but I paid $55 so I definitely expect to get what I paid for..

Waited almost an hour and a half past my appointment time. I watched 3 people who came several minutes after me get helped before myself and another individual. I understand you may be short staff but at least provide a realistic time frame. Only giving two stars because the kind lady who helped did a great job.

Scheduled an appointment for 6:15pm yesturday. Arrived early Walk in with coffin ombre style nails.left with squared nails.i was charged the full amount of a set.it was simple replace one nail and retouch the others.the white power over shadows the pink on the ombre.

Very quick and very professional staff here. I hardly ever get my nails done so tend to tense up, but the nail technician quickly put me at ease. My mother and I both came in, she for a fill, me for a full set. We were both very satisfied and impressed. I will definitely be returning here!

Weird machine to check in with, I had to put in my email my phone number the type of treatment I wanted and the name of my first born child, lol! Then they called us up and didnt ask for any of that information we started all over again the nails were Miss cut on the wife, you cant choose your color she said off the wall like the old days, and they didnt even serve me for at least 15 minutes so I ended up just leaving, could have been better Im sure

I am not big on getting my nails done, but I am very satisfied! They were very quick to get me in the door and seated! Now I usually only get gel nails done, but I tried out the dip powder nails this time. It was a great experience and I will be getting the dip powder from now on. I feel that it is less damaging! Usually my skin is getting cut or the grinder hurts however Adam was very good at keeping it on only my nails and off my skin! Adam took many steps to ensure I liked the length and shape. He also did a great job making sure my nails were smooth and that the design was perfect! I am very impressed! I will be returning and asking for Adam again!

I went to simply get my toenails colored and my finger nails painted with a white tip and my eyebrows done. No gel, fake nails, or anything extreme... My feet cane out beautifully just like I wanted, but my finger nails are horrible!! The first individual I had used I’m assuming the wrong gel based nail polish and as she constantly tried applying the clear coat (without letting the tip dry) my nails became smeared with white. After this happened multiple times the gentleman I’m assuming the owner came to my rescue, or so I thought. Instead of wiping my nails clean he just clumped more white polish on my tips now using regular polish instead of gel, when he began applying the clear coat we had the same issue since my nails were no where near dry!! As it was time to close now it was rushed “fix” and now my nails are smearing everywhere!!! I arrived no later than 5:30pm and did not expect to be there till 7:00pm due to their impatience and on top of that I couldn’t get my eyebrows done because everyone had already left!!!!!! I’m highly frustrated, waste of money unless you’re getting your feet done.

This is my first spa experience in COVID times. I felt absolutely safe in Happiness Nails environment. They did a great job of distancing, sanitizing, and making sure clients felt safe.The woman who did my nails was amazing, I wish I had gotten her name. The massage was excellent and my nails look great. She was professional and timely.10/10 would recommend to anyone!!

I walked in the door of this place, shocked not just because I never noticed it before but just the fact that it was open, caught me off guard. But then, what really threw me fir a loop was a man, that sits in the front, immediately told me to sit Duane in his chair, after dismissing the girl in front of me to the back, abd I thought, “oh great, I get the guy...”🤨But, he ended up doing my nails and PERFECTLY, so much to the point that I’ve been going there ever since! Snd I’ve found that ALL OF TGEM do an EXCELLENTLY PERFECT job! You know how you go to different nail places and there’s usually one person in there that does really good work? Well, ALL these people are excellent at what they do! The guy in the front is still my favorite, but I highly recommend this place because they all are fantastic—- and affordable!

I went in got the $35 pedi and I went in with gel pedi and they didnt even take of the gel before painting them over ! And when I told them they said they dont do that in california they didnt even clean my feet they just put lotion and a hot towel First and last time.

Disappointing service and nails and attitude. We had an appt at 5 pm and wasn’t seen until 30 minutes later. Will not be returning.

So sad to see you have to close again. I was working in California for 2 years and enjoyed the staff at Happiness Nails. Such a friendly and helpful staff. Daniel did a amazing job on my nails. Just so sad that I didn’t get to say good bye to everyone.

My three year old randomly asked to get her nails done for our special mommy daughter day. I was really nervous about taking a toddler to get her nails done, but the staff was so amazing with her! She was pretty good overall, but did mess two of her nails up while we were waiting for them to dry. They were so patient and sweet with her and immediately fixed them. They went above and beyond with literally everything! The nail technician must have kids because she (even though I’m embarrassed to say) even wiped her nose for her at one point without missing a beat and before I even noticed she needed it. They then carried her to the nail dryer so she wouldn’t mess up her toes! She told them how much she liked pink and was brought a pink pair of “sandals” to wear. It was such an amazing experience for her and they made it so memorable! Plus our nails came out great! Thank You all so much! You made our day!

Ive been here serval time only because the product they use is good quality and my nails last pretty long and usually come out good! A few years ago before the new ownership I was yelled out by the receptions as a I made an appoint with a certain lady and my appointment wasnt keep so I stopped going due the the way I was treated!I decided to give them a try again a few months ago and the first time I was happy, second time I was assigned to an older gentlemen at station 4 I believe and he was so extremely rude! He hit my hand yelled at me to the point were I did not even tip & I ALWAYS TIP! Today I went in on my lunch break and asked for them to assist my daughter first as I was mainly there for her and I was going to get a fill if we had time (No Biggy) they were busy anyway! I sat and waited with my daughter and listened to the same guy in station 4 being rude again to the customer he was helping! after about 15 min she insisted for me to go first and got upset when I said NO please take my daughter first! Im sorry but Im just so sick of the rudeness! Im not spending my hard earned money to be treated badly!

Came in September and had a manicure and pedicure/full set. Didn’t make it back in until today. They are professional people who take pride in their work. And it shows!!! I will most definitely become a regular there !!!!

Terrible I hated this and I’m never coming back they cut my nails terribly and didn’t paint the whole nail. It’s been over an hour and my nails haven’t dried either. They made me hold my arm in a very uncomfortable piston for around 5 minutes.

I spent $45 to remove gel only pedicure basic Im done with that I bought my own nail kit stuff and I will be able to do all this on my own and have fun.

Rosie welcomed me right in, even though I didn’t have an appointment. She got me straight into a chair for a pedicure which was lovely, practical and fast.Peter gave me a dip nail manicure. I have been on the hunt for a great nail salon since I moved away from my old town, and this place is Spectacular! Peter was clean, fast, and my nails look fabulous. Rosie was busy the whole time spreading smiles and friendliness.Overall, this place is the Best!

No matter who does the service in this place, they always do a great job. I am a busy single mother and I only have time to get my nails done on my lunch break. They always get me done in time right at 45 minutes

A gentleman by the name of Thu (hopefully that is spelled right) did my Acrylic nails & some lady did my toes; they both were very good. My feet are soft & hands are pretty. Thu was very attentive; making sure my nails matched in shape & length .They def should clean up a little; there was a-lot of loose spider webs & dusting hanging around .. Other then that 👍🏽.. They even use plastic wraps for pedicures-making sure everything is hygienic.

It was my first time here and let me say I will definitely be coming back. Place was clean, staff was very friendly. By far the best nail salon I’ve been to since I moved out here. Not to the mention they have great prices too! Oh and the owner very welcoming and attentive. Definitely recommend.

The staff here is very accommodating!I had one broken finger nail that I needed repaired. I had gone to another nail salon closer to my home and they refused to do the repair saying that I would have to have a complete set of acrylics which is not some thing I wanted or needed to do. I had seen that Happiness Nails moved into a unit by the Walmart market place and when I called them they said yes they could repair it. The gentleman at Happiness Nails repaired the break, matched the same nail color and had me out of there in 10 minutes! Their customer service is A+ and from now on I wont go anywhere else! I will suggest to my friends to come here, as well.

A few hours after getting my nails done the nail polish was completely gone on one of my fingernails and is starting to come off the rest of my nails. And they charged extra for French. Not happy. I got these done right before leaving town so it’s not even an option to have them fix this.

My go to for Nails now for over a year. Daniel is by far the best nail tech in my opinion. My nails never lift or break and I type all day at work. They have a great selection of regular colors and even more in gel colors. I get my pedicures here as well and they do a good job. I am not very picky when it comes to my toes though. They even offer a discount if you pay cash after 5 visits so thats nice as well.

This place always has the best nail technicians. They are professional, friendly and always do the best job. Ive been to 7 different nail salons in Oceanside and Carslbad and this place is the best by far.

Happiness? Absolutely. Quiet serene nd a beautifully painted wall. I walked in and was immediately served. I was handed a menu of options and asked what I would like... no up selling pressure. The guy did an amazing detailed job on my French tip pedicure, like he transformed my toes! The spa chairs were all in good shape. No overwhelming chemical scent since the pedicures and the nails are done in separate rooms. I really wish I lived near this area because I would make this my go to spot. Great price points, good value, amazing results.

THE WORST pedicure I have ever experienced. I have been coming here for years and have loved every service up until now. I came in and had the spa pedicure. The man who did my nails was very rude and seemed to be annoyed with everything I said. The tub was not ready for me even though the other 2 people I was with immediately were, and I had to sit there for 5 minutes waiting for them to even fill it with water which at first was boiling hot, and when I told him it hurt he turned it ice cold which I than soaked my feet in cold water for a few minutes until I asked another woman to warm it up. That was fine, I wasn’t upset. But when I told him I had ONE ingrown toenail, he clipped down the entire side of my big toe (on the wrong side too) all the way down to the root of my nail, and then continued to rip it out. He did this on both toes on the sides WITHOUT ingrown nails. I cried out in pain and made it very clear it hurt and he did not even acknowledge it. My toes were bleeding and he did nothing about it. I work in a professional spa and know that should never be done and can very easily cause an infection. He was sloppy, did an awful job with trimming my toe evenly and the massage was horrible. I am not the person to complain and have never left a negative review before but this is too much to leave unacknowledged. I am in so much pain, my toes are throbbing and I’m terrified I will end up with an infection. I came in hoping to relax and instead left with the worst experience. I am mad. I cannot believe that I spent $60 between me and one other person who’s nails were also cut unevenly and looked as though a child had done them. I wish I had never paid for the service and want a refund. I will never return here and if I do end up with an infection I will be taking further action with the BBB.

Got my nails done here today. The man who was doing my nails, started off good. Didn’t talk much to me though, but was focused on my nails. When I tried to explain what I wanted done with ONE of the nails he got frustrated with me, as I was trying to explain... basically yelling at me. I get it, it’s hard to understand each other but yelling at your customer/getting loud is unnecessary. I will not be going back to this place.

Best nail place ever! Daniel has been doing my nails for the past 5 years. They are friendly, will stick to appointments and offer you bottled water. There are many places to get your nails done, but when it comes to service and quality this is the place!

This is a great place to have coffee in the morning as you begin your day.And if youre a fisherman its a great place to pick up pick up bait for your fishing day

Their service is absolutely great, I love how I get treated every time. I’ve gone here for a year and never had an issue. Today I wasn’t really happy with the quality of nails I wanted to match my hands and toes with out using gel on my toes and it didn’t match. The nail didn’t look like the one on the display book and one nail chipped as soon as I walked out the shop. Maybe I can try again next time.

Half the year I’m in flip flops or barefoot, and while I’ve long ago made peace with the toll this takes on my feet I don’t like making this someone else’s problem to fix. When I do get a pedicure, I make it a practice to pay extra for callus removal, tip mightily, and express with deepest humility my regrets to the poor soul left to the task of scouring my terrible hooves. After a lifetime of being forced into either ballet shoes, platforms, running shoes, or rock climbing shoes - my little toes resemble worn-out ladies of the evening returning at 6am after an all-nighter, if you know what I mean.No problem, the ladies and gentlemen at Happiness Nails & Spa are up to the task. You’ll see no judgement here, only friendliness. Dude examined my “situation”, went to work on my feet with gusto, and wisely brought out the power tools almost immediately. I thoroughly enjoyed my deluxe spa pedi with leg massage, and I salute you and your seemingly endless supply of elbow grease, good sir. You are truly an American hero.As a result, my feet are now suitable for public viewing. FIVE STARS!

Timely service was great. The quality of service is not as good as Ive had in other places. My nails were too thick in the middle thin on the end. one of my friends had a pedicure and they cut his toenails so short that he was sore for about 5 days. Not a good experience for the first time around. Another friend of mine had her manicure done and they buffed the nails too thin. I was very sad about the quality of service. I read the reviews thats why we chose to go there. We will not be back

Walked in for a Mani/pedi and was greeted with a welcoming smile. The staff was very friendly (even offered me bottled water) and attentive. My nail techs did a beautiful job overall I was very pleased with my experience and will be coming back again soon. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM for your nail needs!

This is my favorite salon in the area, I have very short natural nails and when I have a full set put on, the ladies at Happiness pay close attention to the long term relationship. They dont just apply the initial tip to skin and brief nail, but instead they make proper adjustments and secure them deeper into the nail platform so that they dont break off. Awesome!!!!

Second time I have came here and left unhappy! My first time here was great so I came back again because I thought maybe it was just the man who did my feet the second time but this time I didn’t even let the man finish my fill in he constantly kept hurting my hands and bad enough that he dug in my skin and finger was bleeding he showed no remorse when it was obviously hurting me

I got a #6 - manicure/ Pedicure and foot massage and she spent a long time on my massage and my nails- except with the polish- she didn’t get to the edges of the nail base and the second coast didn’t completely cover the first coat - so in the sunlight you can see the line where the second coat ends and doesn’t cover the first coat

I have been here twice and got a man both times, which had me worried; only because any time I had had a man anywhere else it was always the worst! But not here! Two of my favorite full sets were both done here! They are always welcoming and friendly! I like my fake nails short which is normally always an issue but not here! Love this place

Very welcoming but I got a French tip manicure and pedicure $45, I requested gel and was told they dont have it twice, and threw out the day doing normal daily things (dishes,cleaning house) the polish had all peeled off..
