Brandon was awesome. Excellent cut on my 6 year old son. He communicated efficiently and my son enjoyed talking with him. His haircut looks SO much better than the slightly cheaper places we were going before this. The place was clean and efficient. Will return.

Have used Sport Clips for years. First time with this store after the store i usually frequent closed due to the pandemic. Extremely easy online check-in, greeted cheerfully at the door and checked in right away. Jessica took over from there and performed one of the best haircuts i have ever had in my life and that was no easy task seeing how i did not cut my hair for over 14 months. Completely transformed a long haired hippie into a respectable business man. Thank you so much. You have a great tram and i will see you all again in a month or so.

I took my son while visiting oceanside . We go to the one in Ventura and it was nice to have the familiar set up and friendly staff as we are use to when going to Sports clip . My 14 year old couldn’t be happier with his cut. She did exactly what he was explaining he wanted and she even gave the mvp treatment which had him smiling from ear to ear after . Great experience. I highly recommend it and decided maybe next time I should see if they cut girls hair also . Can’t beat the price plus they are quick to get in and out not an all day event . We will be back for sure .

I took my daughter here, the lady who cut her hair was extremely rude and unprofessional. She asked her what was wrong with her because she was in a wheel chair. She told my daughter she would never find a job because she wanted a males haircut with a design on it. She also told her that she was making the men uncomfortable because ONLY men can go there and get their hair cut. She stated it was for MEN only, which is total bs. I would stay away from this place.

Jessica was great. She stool her time. Style came out great! Zoe was so informative on my sons hair since it’s different! Love how this team works together.Negative: I can see how waits will might be long with covid restrictions. However this team got a great system and it is so clean and felt so comfortable!

I hesitated to go as I am female and it is really male oriented, but it was as good as my son said. The stylists are above average in skill and you get a massage and hot towel (even if you dont need a shave!). Very satisfied with haircut.

I had Brandon cut my hair, and it was the first time a male had cut my hair in maybe 10 years. He did an awesome job! I get an 8 on the sides and a bit longer on the top, and he really took his time with the scissors. I ended up with a really nice fade, best haircut Ive gotten at any sports clips ever.

The service was great, I didnt have a long wait time before I was seen. Most of all the employees were nice, polite, the store was clean and well sanitized!

Had a full 5 inches of hair on my head. Went in for a trim and come out with a chopped head. My 9 year old daughter could have cut better than this. Then when you first start cutting with sheers you go all the way up as if Im getting a high and tight military hairstyle. I could not believe, had to stop before she cut me bald. I would not recommend this place at all. For a mens barber shop they should at least cut a mans haircut.

My son’s stylist was amazing. She was engaging, funny and really made him feel comfortable. They bantered back and forth and she did an amazing job with his haircut. My son isn’t a fan of having his head touched, his hair combed or cut- so the fact that he walked out of there with a huge smile on his face and loving his haircut is HUGE! We will definitely be back.

Team was professional, kept to safety protocols and did well to get me in quick and easy. Going without a haircut for weeks can be tricky, but they gave me a perfect cut without issue. Thats why I only use Sports Clips.

The service was great would have been even better inside but we all have to do with what we are given. Its not their fault that they have to cut hair outside but Im glad they are and doing a great job.

Waited 30 min extra before being cut. Appointment was a 2:20. Checked in at 2:05. Wasnt taken back until 2:50. Not great for being the only person sitting in there waiting. Im guessing its because Im a woman and no one wanted to cut my hair. There were 4 ladies cutting hair when I checked in. Suddenly there was one and everyone else went on lunch. Didnt feel welcome or included. Felt like a burden she had to use scissors instead of razor which is quicker. Wont be going back as the picture I showed her was no where near the outcome. Asked for layers and bulk from bottom of my hair removed w thinning sheers and never did it.

I really needed a cut.I was driving around looking for an open salon and ta-da! Sport Clips to the rescue.Since I didnt have an appointment I needed to wait for my turn but they are fast and do great work..Oh, and I love my haircut!

The two stylists my kids had were wonderful! Their cuts looked great. A little turned off that I had a 10$ up charge to put layers in my daughter’s hair, but I guess that’s what I get for taking her to a haircut place that centers their work around men? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Nice, friendly people. I felt very safe and comfortable outdoors as they did a good job cleaning after each client. Only flaw was that they did not clean the chairs where we waited for our turn.

Great cut from a skilled stylist! Angelica is highly professional, skilled and you feel as if you are in the hands of a stylist who takes pride in her craft; her first time cutting my hair and she did an amazing job! Well organized company. Other staff was prompt and welcomed me as soon as I stepped in the door. I appreciate the experience for sure.

These are challenging times and not everyone appreciates that people need to be adaptable to our current circumstances dealing with Covid 19. I arrived to the Salon and there were only two stylist cutting everyones hair. Two mothers brought a total of 5 kids but only scheduled 2 appointments. The stylists adapted to the circumstance even though the Moms acted justified and took no responsibility for over booking the appointments. I thought their professionalism was impressive considering the challenging situation. I ended up having a pleasant conversation with my stylist and I got an excellent haircut. Thank you Roxie!

I was able to arrive early and didnt have to wait long to get my hair cut. The cut was very comfortable and looks great! Staff was very dilegent in using face masks, washing hands, and sanitizing area.

I struggle to find a stylist for my tween boy who “doesn’t care” what his hair looks like- but does.I never remember to make appointments with my own stylist for him until it needs to be done NOW so I gave Sport Clips a go.I loved being able to book my appointment online. I liked the ease of check in and the relaxed atmosphere. I also had my 5year old daughter with me and she was entertained by the provided books while her brother got his new ‘do.We were happy with the cut and the price and I think that with regular visits he will learn to know what to ask for as far as style goes.We will be back in about 8 weeks. :)

My son walked out of there with a great haircut, not a single tear shed and a new friend! She was patient, professional and just the absolute sweetest. Her talents shined just as much as her heart! The staff at Sport Clips is great. I take my twin boys here for haircuts and am always happy with the people and the service. My one complaint is the check in App. It told us we had 10 minutes until we were “on deck.” We arrived at the exact time and were told we now had to wait an additional 24 minutes because we weren’t there when they were ready for us. I was not happy. To me, this seems like a miss on the functionality of the App since the staff couldn’t see the same message or reach out to me before passing us by for the next appointment. But... the staff were quick to make a correction and fit us in. They were kind to my boys and me and I was very pleased with how quickly they got us in. Great job team Sport Clips!

Clean and organized but after getting back to our hotel 100 miles away I found that there were several places my hair hadn’t been cut the same length and someone at an event we attended that evening brought the fact that my hairline across the back of my next was crooked! Bad crooked! My wife and I bought some clippers and shears at CVS and fixed the botched job I had gotten. I don’t recall the name of my barber there but she needs better specs and some more practice.

I had a really nice time at Sport Clips. Did the online reservation, but still managed to wait 10min even though it told me to arrive at 11:30am. The young lady with the nose ring was amazing. Her and I talked the entire time and she made sure my hair was to my liking. She offered good suggestions such as: “I think we should start with a 2 clipper and see how you like that and move down from there.” I thought that was cool seeing as it is hard to eyeball a picture of how your hair was cut by a different barber. She even trimmed up my eyebrows to make sure the look was exactly to my liking. The only reason I didn’t give this hair cut a 5/5 was due to pricing. 31$ with tip is a little expensive for a haircut with a “Free” MVP upgrade since it was my first time coming to a sport clips. The young lady did a great job, but 26$ for a cut is a little much and I can only wonder what the MVP would have been if I didn’t mention it was my first time. Supercuts is 18$-21$ and a barber is anywhere from 8$-30$ but they use a straight razor and do ALOT more work. However, this young lady doesn’t make the pricing, and I am satisfied with how my hair looked as I walked out. I may go back in the future, but I also may look for a cheaper barber shop with the same quality; believe me, they are out there. With that said, I did enjoy my time. I would say I checked in at 11:30, sat down at 11:40, and was done by 12:30. I personally like that my haircut took about an hour and that my stylist took time to do the haircut correctly, but then again some people may not want an hour haircut.

First time at this Sports Clips. My stylist did a great job. She was friendly and offered products that felt would be good for my hair. My brother came with me and was also pleased with this Sports Clips. I also discovered that I could come in for free neck trims. We’ll definitely be coming here more.

What good is online check-in when you arrive at the time they tell you too, only to find out that the stylist you requested just sat a walk-in customer right before you walked in the door? If she knew she had an online check-in appointment at 3:01pm, why would she take another customer at 3:00pm? Doesnt make sense. Now, Im sitting here waiting 30 minutes for her to finish the other one. I gained nothing by using online check-in. For me, it was useless. I think theyre a little expensive as well. $23 for a basic mens haircut is a bit on the high side. The cut is just ok, nothing special. I think Garcias Barber Shop in Carlsbad Village does just as good a job for only $15. Going to start going back there again. Since Sport Clips wasted my time today, I decided to use the wasted time wisely and write this review.

Probably the worst location Ive been to. Only two personnel with over a 2 hour wait. In the hour+ I was there one only cut 2 peoples hair. The other did three, but spent more time sweeping and puttering around her chair than cutting hair. When app check-ins didnt show they skipped my name and called up another who had come in after. When I pointed it out from the screen, they removed the name so when it came around it wasnt there and they said the other had been listed first.Inefficient and unprofessional from a customer service standpoint. I had to leave so never found out if they could cut hair.

Time management should be improved. The wait time read 28-30min wait that is reasonable. However, once the time was up and a person was “on deck” stylists were still occupied for another 15-25min. In total my visit today occupied nearly 1 hour and 30min.

Hi, Hair cut is just average. But at $28.00 plus $5.00 tip. $33.00 total. I would expect Fantastic. The most I have ever paid for a hair cut in my life but not the best.

The appearance of the staff was obviously not a top priority. Most of them plowed as if they rolled around in a pile of muddy hay. The haircut itself was good but I’ll choose my other location in Oceanside Blvd over this location

Very pleasant experience. Angela (or Angelica?) cut my hair and did a great job and was fast, and as a first timer I got their special deal for free which included a hair wash and shoulder massage.

I take my sons to Sportclips regularly, and we have always had a great experience. The stylists are friendly and efficient and the facility is always clean. We didn’t used to specify a particular stylist, and always had great results. Now my sons choose to schedule with Hayden, because she has proven to be amazing. She listens, makes suggestions, and ensures that the haircut she gives is top notch. Overall, we always have a wonderful experience.

Sport Clips is an excellent way to get a haircut, shampoo, neck massage, and hot towel experience, all the while watching some sporting event on TV. As a sports enthusiast and having a desire to have a good haircut, I was very pleased to have experienced both! I highly recommend this place and will definitely return.

Yesterday was the first time I visited this location. I had to plan ahead and check in online because the last few times I checked, the wait here was 40+ minutes. So I planned ahead a arrived right at 3:06pm and Ericka was ready. MVP was great. Haircut is great. I bought a season pass so obviously I’ll be back in 3 weeks!

I visited this location for the first time yesterday. I was fortunate enough to get Angelica to help me. I was so impressed how respectful and professional she is with me. Im the type of guy that doesnt like changes, I have a regular barber that I go to for several years now... but after yesterday, I will be making the change. Angelica will be cutting my hair from now on. Thank you

The team did a great job in spite of the COVID restrictions. MVP can’t be accommodated but they were able to do most of their other services.

First there was no wait so she took my son right away. I explained how we wanted his hair cut (he is 7 btw) and she did an excellent job. We love how she cleaned up the back. She was super fast too! Thank you. We will be back in 4 weeks!

Sport Clips is much more than a barber shop. Almost want to go back weekly. Love the MVP cut, the tvs, and of course the friendly hosts.

My two sons and I checked in online and were on deck as soon as we arrived, even on a Sunday. this is an easy location with a Starbucks and Del Taco very close. I walked over to Del Taco to get an iced tea while I waited for my boys to get done.The haircuts were great and we all got the MVP treatment.

Employees there are always friendly and do a good job. Typically dont have to wait too long to get a cut.

Hayden listened to what I wanted (and looked at the picture I brought in) and did a fantastic job of making my hair look great. She’s extremely friendly and it was a pleasure to have her help me look my best.

I am a woman who Walked-In for the 1st time at Sports Clips and it appeared to be a Mens Only place. There wasnt even one woman in any of your advertisements so you can imagine how leary I was! I asked a beautician if Women are allowed and she said YES so I patiently waited. When my turn popped into the Q, a woman named Roxie served me and she was phenomenal! I would definitely go again. Do you think you cud include one female in future advertisements please? Women are equally as important as men right?? Thank you.

My son has autism and HATES haircuts. We came in and the girls were super accommodating and patient and kind. They were willing to do what he needed to make the experience a good one.

When I signed it and it told me I had 28 minute wait but then it kept changing as people went to lunch. So I waited 44 minutes. I believe it should be managed with the staff that covers lunch breaks so that we don’t have to sit around. The haircut was as good as always I appreciate that but I don’t always have time to sit there for 44 minutes before we start a haircut. I’ve walked out before because of that. And it was very close yesterday. I believe it’s about management and respect for other people

Avoid having your hair cut by the military wives who work here, unless you like spending $30+ to look like a marine with a poorly executed buzz cut. I could have done a better job with a pair of clippers and a mirror but a buzz cut was not what I wanted or what I asked for. The last time I got a cut this bad my mom was holding a bowl.

Theres a lot of chop shops in Oceanside/Carlsbad, so finding a reliable place for a great haircut is difficult. Im thankful I found this Sports Clips. Always a great haircut, always a great experience 3 years running now. I highly recommend it.
