Ocean Road Barbershop is just about the best at the whole Jersey Shore (or anywhere else for that matter). Not only is every barber a top-notch professional, but they create such a welcoming, relaxed environment. I definitely look forward to my hair getting long enough for a cut so I can stop by and have Tom do his magic! Cant recommend this business highly enough!

I brought my son (almost 3 years old) in for a haircut; it was the first time in an actual barbershop for him. Austin did such a great job with his hair, and it’s not easy cutting a toddler’s hair for the first time. I would definitely return to Ocean Road Barbershop.

This is a great shop and I don’t see myself going anywhere else in the near future. Tom is phenomenal, which is obviously why I’ve run into a couple instances where he was fully booked for a week straight. But those times led me to the other members of the shop, and I discovered that they do a great job as well. No complaints from me.

Ocean Road Barber shop and Bridge Ave Barber shop are the BEST places Ive ever been for my hair!! I jumped around for years trying to find a place that had friendly and talented barbers. All the employees really make it a great experience everytime I come to the shop. They make you feel like your part of their family. When I go in I usually tell them to do whatever they want with my hair and Im always amazed at the quality hair cut I get! Ive also seen people really want something very specific and they always get it right! The shop is SUPER clean and its very easy to make an appointment online which is convenient! Definitely will always be the place I get my hair cut!

Great barber and staff! I struggled for years trying to find a barber for my son until I found ocean road barber shop! Every place I took him they either butchered his hair with a horrible cut, or hurt him during the cut because their buzzers weren’t well cared for. I used to have to start preparing him 2 weeks before the cut. We’ve been at ocean road for 2 years now and my son always gets a good looking, pain free cut!

How can I describe the level of service and the attention to detail that Chelsea has for each of her clients. She is absolutely amazing at what she does. And the conversations that take place in the shop make it feel even more like your at home. She is always booked so make sure you get an appointment because the goddess of haircuts is on high demand!

Ive been going to get my haircut (and occasionally straight razor shaves) at the Ocean Road Barbershop (and at the Bridge Ave. Barbershop) since Chelsea and Shain first opened each of them. Love both current locations but usually go to Ocean Road. Both locations are very clean and comfortable. I have my barbers that I typically go to however I have often had others at each location to cut my hair with no complaints what-so-ever. I use the Vagaro app (which is super simple) to book my appointments but if you arent tech savvy, feel free to call and they will let you know whats available and book a slot for you. Super accommodating and understanding of the type of cut you want. Chelsea, Shain and several of the employees are also very involved in the community and are often giving back to good causes - another reason why I choose Ocean Road (and Bridge Ave.).

Chelsea surpassed any and all expectations I could have for a barber. Not only is she well experienced and caters to my requests, but also she goes above and beyond. Recently I had to attend a viewing for a family member who had passed. Without any appointments open, they told me to just come on in and strategically were able to fit in my haircut without disrupting any other appointments scheduled. Overall amazing experience. 5 🌟 atmosphere and all barbers on staff have EXCELLENT personalities making it extremely difficult for a customer to chose any other barbershop. 5 out of 5, A++

Just got back from Ocean Road Barber Shop, had Tom Barreto as my barber; could not be happier with my cut and the experience as a whole.The barber shop is a friendly atmosphere, clean and professional. For sure passed the immediate eye test. Tom is a super nice and professional guy and he kept the whole experience entertaining. We had a nice conversation and before ya know it he showed me the cut in the mirror and I was super impressed. For sure one of the best haircuts and beard shape up Ive ever had. Straight razor touch up was a super nice touch.When I got home I actually had to fight my wife off me and re-direct her to my eyes like I was a piece of meat, I went: Woah, honey! eyes up here! Its the middle of the day for Christ sake! You cant just come at me like that! Haha.In all seriousness, Ocean Road Barber Shops Tom Barreto is a super nice and professional dude who delivers an awesome cut. Could not recommend him and this establishment more.
