When called for a tow was told would be at least 730 PM before they got to me... however it was not nearly that long before he got to me. He was very professional and awesome. I highly recommend

These guys are the real deal! My parents were broken down towing their 5th wheel camper on 75 coming to Jax for a family event. They tried getting a tow company through their Good Sam’s Roadside but to no avail. When we found out Good Sam’s would reimburse them, I started calling towing companies. Mind you, my parents sat on the side of the road, w/ no AC, nothing, in the Florida heat, for 5 hours. I called Dave’s and they were Johnny on the spot! Major kudos to Eric & Ryan for handling the 2 separate tows and putting my parents at ease. Dave’s ended up getting in contact with Good Sam’s & all the billing was handled through Good Sam’s. Thank you for taking that extra step and saving them the headache of getting reimbursed. I hope I don’t have to call you again, but if a similar situation arises, I know whom I’m calling. Our car needed to be towed and needed a special tow truck because the car was locked in park position in our garage. I called and they had the right tow truck. They arrived within 30 minutes. The driver did a great job getting the car safely to the transmission repair place. Thank you so much.

On my way home today 05/12/21, I got a flat tire on a long, lonely country road. I called Geico who dispatched Daves Towing. The estimated time was 75 minutes but they were there within 30 minutes. Their employee Ray was definitely a Ray of Sunshine. He was very friendly, polite and professional. Mostly importantly, I felt safe. I woulddefinitely recommend this company to my friends and family. I made it home just before dark thanks to Daves Towing. Thanks a million Ray.

I never have been treated so unfairly or disrespected when I was the one left behind, twice....with a kid ....never arrived to the location and made up an excuse that they did not have a phone number when its through gieco and they can get it anytime. Unprofessional and no courtesy at all for our need to get out of the rain, highly do not recommend them.

First time in the U.S., bought a car a week ago, and the brake lining suddenly fails on the I-75. Frustrated and lost, I called Geico for ERS who then dispatched Daves Towing & Recovery. Eric was more than helpful, professional, and caring. I had to stay over in Ocala, and he made sure that myself and my car were in good hands. He even called me the following morning to ask if everything was going well and if there was anything he could help out with. If my car should break down again, I sure hope therell be Daves Towing around.

Even tho they are to far for me Im new to florida he did offer me a few other places to call very nice man .thank you but we rented a home depot truck 20 bucks for 70 minutes put 2 tires to the back of my ford explorer I got in the home depot truck and pushed around the block so to pick up speed git up to 30 35 and right up the drive way it went lol it worked and believe it or not no damage to either truck thanks Dave put tow prices are out of budget.. renting from Home depot for 20 bucks is much more my budget . You were very nice and helpful, thanks

The driver Eddie was so mellow. He was knowledgeable and familiar with the car and was in and out pretty darn quick. I did wait about 90 minutes for his arrival but he made the tow a smooth transition and you can be sure I will request him again if I ever need a tow. Very friendly guy. An asset to his company I am sure.

Ray was awesome - on time, professional, and carefully loaded my car. Knew how to winch it in, was careful with chains and brake lines, and very careful as he moved it. Would def use again!

Did some work to my car and used them to tow my car to the tuner. Good service, I had a little bit of complication because my exhaust was cut and hanging but the tow guy helped me and we got it sorted, cool guy.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Tire blew out on the highway, waited an hour for the tow truck. They never came so I called again and the office said theyd have the driver call me. I Waited over 2 hours and they never came or called me. Thank God for FHP for stopping to help.

My vehicle was in a car wreck and was told by the FHP trooper that I had to use this company. When I asked for the driver to tow the car to a specific place instead of their tow yard, I was told I need to pay cash and that they would tell me how much it would be. I was first quoted $120 by one driver, the quoted over $200 by the driver that switched out. I said the place your taking it to is around the corner, so he changed it to $120 plus fees. I get to the specific place to drop the car and asked the driver to not place the vehicle right in front of the locked gate, to please place it on the grass or a little further back on the concrete. Was told no and that it’s my job to deal with the car the next morning. I called Dave’s to come back out to move the vehicle inside the specific company’s yard and was told it would be $65 to move it inside the gate. Mind you other towing companies in Ocala would charge $25-30 less and would be a lot faster in getting to the car. I agreed to pay the price and that’s when the manager (possible owner) started cussing me out. When stating that I was pregnant and he should not be talking to a lady that way, he stated that the company should have impounded my car and he was not sending a driver out to correct their mess up in the first place. Stated that if I would have towed to their yard I wouldn’t be dealing with the car being in the wrong place. Unless you like being talked to rudely and over charged, then this is the company to go with. If you don’t, I would get in touch with C & M towing or Mark’s towing who are professional tow companies and treat their customers with respect.

Ed came to my home to take my sick BMW electric car to BMW for repairs. The i3 is not a common car, and yet Ed knew how to check the different batteries and get it set up for towing. The first thing he asked was, wheres the screw in tow hook. A less knowledgeable person would have lift the car with chains, denting the aluminum frame forever. This guy was a pro.

Called for a tow was told an hour someone should be there. Called back an hour an 15 minutes and was told more twenty minutes. Finally he showed up still 5 mins later. Put truck on the tow truck was told to leave the key in ignition put in park and set the brake. When the tow truck pulled up to repair facility they told them there was no key and dropped vehicle. Informed by shop facility there was no key. Called Daves towing only to hear they didnt take the key and are not responsible.

I was very pleased with Daves towing. My daughter purchased a lemon and fortunately I had to have this car towed on 4 different occasions. Twice a guy by the name of Mr. Ray towed us and he was prompt, nice and very helpful. He helped make a bad situation a little more comforting.... I appreciate all of u very much

I used Daves towing through my roadside assistance with my insurance but was unable to stay with my vehicle as I had to go into work. Daves picked up my car from my home and took the keys from a relative and was given the dealership to drop the car off to! So Daves towing drops off my car at the dealer with out consulting with the service department! Just abandons my car at the end of the dealership by cars for sale were located! Unprofessional..who leaves a car with keys inside abandoned at a dealership!!!?? Never use this company!

Absolutely fantastic and professional! I was involved in an accident and Eric with Dave’s Towing was there in no time. It was a 100F+ degree June day and he immediately offered me an ice cold bottle of water and let me sit in the air conditioned cab while he handled all the rest. I was impressed with his knowledge, compassion, and professionalism. I would not recommend anyone else for your towing needs!

Horrible they pick up your car from a crash and then charge you money to tow it and store it and they dont take cash or card horrible place

I was in need of a tow truck for my disabled vehicle and I used my insurance company to get one. I received a text that it would be Dave’s Towing who would be coming to rescue me with an ETA. I waited patiently for someone to arrive and when the driver was near he called to let me know he would be there in a few minutes. He was super friendly and to be honest his personality turned my entire day around, he is good at what he does because he took my situation knowing I was obviously having a bad day and made light of it, which made me realize it could be so much worse. He had me laughing by the time we reached my destination. I highly recommend this company, and although I can’t speak for all the drivers I can say Ed is an asset to this company. Thanks for making my bad day so much better!

Seen the weakness of one of their drivers. He had no integrity at all to try tow a car cause it was a little lower then average. Called another company and the guy snatched it up with not one issue an rolled out like a boss. Plus their rate was like 60 bucks cheaper. If your afraid to even attempt a tow then dont drive a truck.

They should maintenance maintenance and repair their vehicles more often and keep a nine-point check on everything their tires how they drive a little bit of wobbly when we had to transport our SUV here but thats been two weeks ago other net friendly service kind people game ASAP no complaints I guess it is what it is wobbly meaning the truck some of the other drivers should take heed and not bouncing bang the you-know-what out of the truck and then its Rose the front end out of line other than that thank you

My 17yo’s car recently had an issue & would not start & the shifter was stuck in what seemed to be drive. Ryan with Dave’s Towing was amazing! He was quick, knowledgeable (alerted us that there was more than likely a recall- which was the case) & helped put our minds at ease! He even took it directly to the dealer & filled out the paperwork so the car was repaired & ready to pick up by 9am the following morning! Would def use again (hopefully don’t need to) & recommend highly!!!! THANK YOU

After we called my wife started to read reviews and we got worried but I can tell you our experience was top notch! We needed a special rig to tow us and the gentleman told us he would be there in 45 min and when he wasn’t he called to let us know he was running a little behind and would be there soon and he was,before he arrived we our truck started running good enough to drive so we paid the little service charge for them coming out which was fair and started back home,about 10 minutes later my phone rings and it’s the tow driver checking on us asking if everything is still working ok and if we have any problems to call and he would come get us! Very nice people,very professional and if I ever need a tow I won’t hesitate to call them!Thank You Dave’s Towing!!

They have NO consideration for peoples time. They were very rude and have no empathy or compassion. They had me waiting 45 minutes outside with my AAA tow truck to release my car to me after I paid them in full. They would not let the driver simply go inside the yard and get the vehicle. Instead, they made us wait.

Super nice guys! Took my truck from i75 to south Orlando on a Sunday night, picked up in less than an hour! They were also really nice and helpful on the phone when I needed my truck picked up which is appreciated during a time like that.

One of Dave’s drivers on I 75 backed into me while traffic was at a dead still. I blew my horn and everything. I jumped out of my car and yelled at him and he would not get out and got off at the 40 exit. I called the company and told them that he hit the front end of my VW Beetle and left the scene. There is damage to my front end. This company does not care nor have they returned my call. I’ve witnesses!

Arrived in a timely manner. Dave (Philly) and his helper, I wish that I could remember his name, were both very professional and helpful. Excellent customer service from these two people.

They have a system set up to add additional undisclosed fees and surcharges to your bill above what they quote you, at time of service, with the premeditated intent of preventing the customer from retrieving his vehicle on the day you come for it because the bill is much higher than what was initially quoted. They also are only open 9am to 5pm monday through friday yet still charge you storage fees on the weekend. Then there is the $210 loading fee, $185 vehicle wrap fee, etc oooh n addition to the towing fee which is what they originally quote you in a competitive low amount, so the customer thinks this is what hes paying. Then there is the daily storage fees, administrative fees, local taxes, etc...amd if you dont pay in 30 days they lien sale your vehicle. Its a very sophisticated racketeering operation designed to extort incredibly large anounts of your hard earned dollars by holding your vehicle hostage and preying on your vulnerability and emotional tie to your vehicle. I would recommend avoiding this company at any cost.

I was there with a friend who was recovering his personal items, from his car, after it was towed away and impounded (at Daves) from the Shell Service Station on S. Pine Ave., Ocala.Station Operator did not care that it was broke down til the next when it was to be picked up by the mechanic. Dave did not mind demanding a outrageous tow Bill or the title.

The owner quoted us a tow price in a couple of different circumstances. Then they show up and tow a totally different way and charge me double what the bill should be, without calling and explaining why it would be more before doing. This company should never be referred to anyone or anybody cause they are liars and thieves and when you ask them to explain their charges they tell you they dont have to. pay your bill or they will sale your stuff. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!!!!!!

They are the thieves and they cheat people out of their automobiles, they auction vehicles WITHOUT titles. They dont help people they STEAL from them. If you care for your vehicle, call anybody but Daves towing and recovery. This firm is in cohoots with the county officials. DO NOT USE THEM UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES!! I’m sorry I had to do business with them.Samantha manager is horrible no customer service skills, Im sorry I had to use their service.They tow our company truck and their truck got a flat while towing it and did get a replacement until 5 hours later I kept calling the office for an update but they never got back to me when I finally got to talk to Samantha she was so upset and get to the Point and what did I want, I said it was very inconvenient and if she can do something about the bill and simply said it was inconvenient for them towing as well and the bill is what it is and hung up.....

Biggest liars Ive ever met! Got into a accident had 1500$ rims on my truck was told if I brought the 5th Rim up there they would take a amount off the balance since one of the rims got crushed and they needed another one to make a complete set. when I called to see if they did ever take some money off the total amount the gentleman Lee was extremely rude, Raised his voice at me, basically called me a liar. He said that nobody would have ever said that to me. Im at work and definitely not trying to waist anyones time . In reality I would have never just handed them a rim to make money off of for free.( Best part they told me the sold the rims)... ALL I was calling to see about paying off the balance and I get treated like scum and yelled at. My Dad worked for them for years and My family does business with them regularly (They Own a shop) and I will make sure they are never used again by them. If I could have left no stars I would have. AND IM AWARE that the bill is being very much late paid but Ill be damned if they should be aloud to talk, lie and treat some one that way!! And they say they’re 24 Hours but the sign on the door says 8-5 weekdays closed on weekends

5:48 PM jan 17th 2019 in between Fanning Springs and Chiefland we felt bullied by your driver not safe and the getting behind us flashing high beams is also unsafe this rig was hauling a dump truck with something on the back inches off the ground also unsafe. Called Daves towing and scheduled, they said it would be 45 minutes to an hour. Called back after an hour and 15 minutes. They said 45 minutes more or so, canceled the service!

If I could give half a star I would! Beware call another place that gives a damn. Inconsiderate of your situation and time. I was told Im burnin up HIS driver diesel gas because I broke down in the middle of nowhere! The guy could care less about actually helping someone and unfortunately all about a $. Luckily for us a good person stooped and helped us. This guy sent the driver for another pick up without so much as calling us back to tell us he did that! Wow!

Worst staff ive dealt with. A bunch of crooks and liars. Car sat for 2 hrs and was towed and given a 360 bill. I showed up at 505 after going to atm only to have him refuse to serve me and forced an extra 50 bucks for another day. Staff laughed as he put a show on for them at my expense.

Guy was a real pleasure. Anything they can do to get money out of ya.
