The Tow truck showed up 30 minutes after I spoke with the team. I had previously been. In a 90 minute back an forth game of hold with my insurance company that was supposed to have towing. I was over it, so I hung up and called these nice people. The driver was very nice. We chatted while he drove me to my destination. I would use them again!

They were quick to arrive and service was great and not to pricey than I thought it would come out to be. All in all Id use their service again and would recommend theyre service to friends and families

I had a flat tire, which I changed out for my spare. As soon as I lowered the jack the spare tire quickly went for as well, so I ended up having to call for a quick tow.This was a very straight forward process. I called the company and was advised to wait for a call. Cesar called me within 15 to 30 minutes, quoted me the price (yes, moderately pricy, but the Bay Area is pricy and it was in the same range as other tow companies I’ve used), and told me what time to expect him. He arrived on time, was professional and competent, and towed me without issue to the tire shop. Payment was easy and now I’m getting my tire replaced.All in all, this was a very painless experience on a Friday afternoon. I would definitely use this company again.

THIS COMPANY IS COMPLETELY FRAUD!!! I called they gave me a price range between $55-80 max + $49 service. They tried to charge me $135 total & i didn’t agree to that due to the fact that that was not was advertised to me over the phone. We agreed to $125 then they charged me $135 on my card anyways. They even gave a receipt for $125 though they charged my card a different price. I would advise to NEVER use their service!

When it comes time for a tow, Guy is the one to call. We were impressed with his prompt, courteous service and his experience, he easily towed our car out of a difficult spot. Professional and reliable, Guy is the tow master. I recommend this company and will definitely call them again.

This place is scam!! They try to charge $640 for a 10 miles tow. Then when i called around it was $160, which is fair. When i asked to release the car, they asked for $300 to put the car down. I have notified the insurance company (who sent them) and they advised they will never be using them again.

I said another company quoted $450.They wasted my time having me send pictures then told me the same quote.I asked for a portal-to-portal // hourly rate and wouldnt get one. Thank you for being our hero, Guy!! Guy arrived in the scheduled window frame, and promptly called me to inform me he’d arrived. He was professional, clean, neat, personable AND correctly wearing his mask. He took care to form his strategy, communicate his plan to me, and secure our collaboration, stating: “We will do this together. You have an important part of this.” He was confident, stating: “We will get this towed. 100%. Not to worry.” These reassurances made me feel confident and much better. This was our 3rd towing company that had come to the house in the past 5 days. The previous tow company called my insurance company to inform us that they refused to come back because they thought it was too difficult a job/too risky to return to the house. Guy and Toro Road Runners arrived with the correct truck and tools to do this tricky job. Our tow involved a steep, narrow driveway down a hillside to a carport with a slanted roof (and the SUV has a roof rack that has parts that are installed and fashioned so it doesn’t get removed!)- plus a driveway that curves to one side at the terminal end adjacent to the street above. On one side of the driveway is a 15’ drop. Guy had his work cut out for him- at least I thought he did and clearly, the other 2 tow companies did, too. Guy hooked everything up like he’d done it a million times. He and I worked together and he got the car out of its place and onto the road in less than 30 minutes. I was already signed and we headed to my mechanic. Excellent customer service, bravery, and smarts. Thank you very much. Toro, treat Guy well. He’s definitely your asset. I trusted him implicitly with our BMW today- and if I ever need help again. Stay safe out there.

Very helpful, prices are clearly very different based on your sex (female/male). I called and was quoted a price. Then my bestfriend called which was a female and she was quoted a price that was almost $100 less than what i was quoted previously.

Tow gentleman was professional, however the quote Gabby had received was incorrect. I agreed 35 for them to come out and 30 to jump start my car instead that had charged me 115 total. If i need I would of gone with another tow truck company. 80 to jump my car is ridiculous, especial when its only less than 5 minutes. I called and spoke to a gentleman and he didnt even honor the price.

Bought a car and was going to drive it back up to Canada - ignition became faulty and it wouldnt start. Called up Toro and within an hour they were able to tow my car to the dealership. I had a great conversation with the driver Noam, who was super friendly and willing to help. Couldnt be happier with the service!

They just subs out to a cheaper service so the ETA time given was a joke. They told me 45 to 60 minutes. After 1 hour waiting I called back 8 times and got false promise each times and finally after 2 hours and 50 minutes the driver show up. It came across my mind that they want to make me upset enough to to a cancellation so they can keep the $50 cancellation fee. Wow, what a terrible experience I got today. Dont use them period.

Horrible service. I called for a flatbed at 520 and was told it would take 45min. I called again at 550 and was told the driver had just been dispatched at 545 and it should only be 20-30min now. I didn’t get a truck until 650 and it wasn’t a flatbed for my all wheel drive. Now my bank is fighting them for the cancellation fee they charged me.

Nice people, but all they do is contract with other legit towing companies, jack the prices up and then take a huge cut of the money. We told the tow truck driver (sent by Toro) that they wanted to charge us $325 per hour for a heavy duty tow (we have a class C motorhome). The truck driver was astonished and said that he had told them his rate was $125 per hour. AND he said that he was using a medium duty tow truck, so not sure why Toro told us wed need heavy duty. Toro may be a helpful service if youre in an emergency scenario and cant get in touch with any other towing companies, but honestly Id only use it as a last resort.

Requested a service with an appointment and they came late without any advice or phone call. Then, they wanted to charge me $40 dollars extra than the maximum amount they give upon request. At the end the problem was solved and they respected the original price. The driver was very professional. Office personnel need to do better.

Mehenna (Grimm) my tow car driver was incredibly friendly. He definitely put me at ease after an unfortunate accident involving my rental vehicle. I could tell he was extremely experienced and took a lot of pride in his profession. He made sure to explain what he was doing and took extra precautions to make sure the rental would be safe in transit and avoid damaging other vehicles on the road with debris from the damaged bumper. Throughout this the process of reporting the accident, he was the most professional and helpful. I would give 5+ stars if I could.

After being told by eight different tow companies that they were unable to tow the vehicle out of a parking garage and across the Bay Bridge we made a call to Toro Road Runners and the immediately came over and towed us out of there. James was very helpful and courteous. Were out of there within a few minutes. That was the end of that 3 hour ordeal thanks a lot

Martín came to jump and tow my car today (it had to be jumped to get it onto the tow truck) and he was super friendly and great to talk to. I had given a half hour window for the company to come tow, and Martín showed up on time. Such a relief to find kind, helpful people and reasonably priced service!

Way too expensive for a service that just subs out to a cheaper service and charge you 400 dollars to go 8 miles and wait 2 hours with no call back with eta. Dont use them the reviews are all fake.

I had the worst experience with Toro. Took them an hour to show up once I had called (not a big deal), but charged me $200 for a motorcycle tow of less than 2 miles that took maybe 30 minutes. The driver told me it technically wasnt a local tow because the pickup spot was on the edge of Emeryville. Seriously? When I handed him my card, he said his credit card machine wasnt working and had to drive me to 2 different ATMs to pay the ridiculous fee. On the way there, he told me white people never carry cash. On top of a disappointing breakdown, Toro made the day so much worse.

These guys were great and fast. Had my car stuck in a narrow and pretty difficult place but Mehenna was very fast in finding out how to fix the situation. 5 stars greatly deserved

This tow business is literally less than 2miles from where my car is parked and less than 1/2 mile from the shop I need it towed to. The lady I talked to on phone said it was $134 for the tow but she would give me a bargain of $90. Seriously that is only a 5mile round trip for them and they try to convince me that $90 is a bargain. What a rip off!!! Needless to say Ill go elsewhere for service now and in the future.

Unbelievably unprofessional and extremely lacking customer service skills. If all goes well with ones tow, great! But if one has a legitimate complaint, it fall on deaf ears and they can be extremely rude and unprofessional about their interaction and conduct.... Even going as far as hanging up on a customer whos respectfully endeavoring to voice ones disappointment respectfully.. I would never utilize their services again ...

Yes I understand we crossed the bridge but that’s ridiculous. Also we had to call them for updates on the status of the driver. Worst tow experience I’ve ever had.

Unprofessional. First he shows up to the wrong address so I have to text him the address. The whole ride him and the woman seated next to him are speaking Spanish the entire ride. Hes taking the longer route to get to my location which is within the same city. Im charged almost $200 to go somwhere within the same city. When Ive been charged that same amount to go way further. Never again

Car broke down entering the bridge at 11pm. CalTrans kindly towed us to the toll plaza where I then spent over 30 mins on the phone with road side assistance trying to explain where I was located for them to dispatch a truck. They gave me an ETA of about 60-90 mins after finding a service provider. I followed up 30 mins later to find out that a service provider still hadn’t been found. It was 12:30am at this point. While on the call I was told a service provider was found and that they would arrive in about 60-90 mins. We were sure we weren’t getting home till sunrise. To our surprise, Delfino shows up 5 mins later with a great attitude (considering he was driving us to Brentwood.) He kept our spirits up at 1am after being exhausted from a long day and got us home before 2am. Thanks again Delfino! You the real MVP!

These guys are slime balls, they swindle my son out of $653. His car ran out of gas about 3 blocks from the gasoline station, he was so stupid to call these horrible human dungs even though we have AAA. They could have just drop him at the gas station since he has a Jerry Can with him, there was no discussion of how much it was going to cost or nothing before towing the vehicle, at least you make sure he has money to pay for it before providing the service. They towed him 3 blocks and charge him $139.95, and since he did not have that much cash on him, they impounded his vehicle. I am as we speak talking to Better Business Bureau and the California Department of Industrial Relations.

The driver arrived to the spot which was kind of risky yet picked the car up fast and got me off the freeway and home safely. reccomended!
