I’ve been coming here on and off throughout the last two years. The place is a true hit or miss ... lately much more of a complete miss. The only reason I went today was because Polished Nails was completely booked, Jivana is close to home and desperately needed to replace 3 nails.You can see from the photos attached that my nails were left completely flat and lumpy. In addition, the simple design that I asked for was a complete mess. Jacob’s first attempt was an epic fail, however, I patiently said “don’t worry - just find larger foil flakes and I’m okay with two colors if need be”. I watched him struggle and still never got it right. Then to top it off had the nerve to charge me $50 for the “nail design”. What nail design??? Foiled flakes??? I have a business of my own and never get on to write negative reviews but today was just unacceptable. I left paying $100 for nails that I now have to still find a professional nail tech to correct the unevenness he left on my nails. I’m addition, you can see how careless he was - he there’s also green speckles left in my nails.The place has overall just fallen to pieces and the professionalism is at it’s lowest ever. I highly do NOT recommend.

This use to be my favorite spot. I understand theres been lots of changes ever since the PANDEMIC. The actual owner sold the spa. Theres new Management/Owner as well staff, eventhough they still have some current staff. Every time I get a staff who does a wonderful job of doing Gel Manicure and Signature Spa Pedicure upon me returning 2 - 3 weeks later, they no longer working at Jivana Nails & Spa. My last visit I requested regular manicure and pedicure since theres no one in my opinion can do what I really want. The Manager appointed one for me. After doing and finishing the spa request, I went to the front desk to check out. Previously the nail technician quote me a price and the front desk Manager quoted me a different price. I asked why I was charge different? The Manager explained, I requested to remove/buff the bottom of my foot which is an additional charge as well the spa charge an additional amount for Gel nails remover. I explained the nail technician never explained to me about any request that may be charged additional, before doing anything to the customers they should always explain these options and it will be the customers if they want to proceed with the process. My opinion it was very unprofessional and no communication involved with customers. Most likely, I will be looking for another nail spa where I will feel satisfied with my manicure and pedicure. 😖😠 I forgot to mention, the place needs lots of cleaning and sanitizing. I see some staff clean their area but some dont. Bathroom is a must as well the nail station definitely needs to be clean and sanitize.

Its been a while since I visited this nail salon and now I will never go back. The gentleman that did my gel manicure did a horrible job, he was rushing and talking. Due to him not paying attention he did not cut the cuticle of my finger properly and it bled to no end. He then told me my finger was cut because I moved,which is untrue. Also, edges of my nails are left without polish and he did not file my nail to the length I requested ( more than once). They also over charge you. The only reason why I am rating two stars is because the woman who did my pedicure did a good job.

I have been going to this salon for a couple months, I usually get either a gel manicure and/or pedicure, sometimes only gel polish since I do my own manicures. For the most part, every person I’ve done services with there have been great. I’m also not a picky or complicated person and chances are I won’t complain even if I’m not 100% satisfied. But this time I was assigned to a lady who was rushing the entire time and didn’t even do a good job. She left about 1/4 of my nails without paint, like the edges. A lot of nail techs usually leave a gap between your nail and your cuticle which I get and I never complain about that, but this lady left the edges of my nails without paint, like the sides and it was very noticeable and they were large gaps, so I told her and I pointed it out so that she can fix it…. she tried to fix it a couple times then asked me if I liked it and I was honest and told her no, expecting her to be understanding and maybe start over. Instead, she started to pick up everything, ripped the sticky note off the table aggressively that had my name and the service I wanted, walked to the front and I guess told the staff at thefront desk that she didn’t want to service me. I’m sharing my experience because the customer is supposed to be happy with the service they’re paying for, not treated poorly or like they’ve done something wrong. They even tried to tell me that it’s becasue I wasn’t doing a manicure and I chose white, so it’s hard for them to paint the edges…. NO, that’s not true because I’ve never experienced this. I’m not even a loud person, I didn’t cause a seen, I simply told them why I didn’t like the job she did. I thank the guy who fixed my nails but I won’t be going back.

The lady at the fro t desk is a total B****.They will accept reservations knowing they are over booked. Arrive and wait 45 mins after your appointment.Also dirty and the place needs to be cleaned.

I got a manicure and pedicure there and they did a great job!

So I have gone to this salon for years. But the service has really declined. I have strong nails so I ask for regular polish. The lady kept insisting I get gel. I said no regular polish. I chose a color and of course it was harden. Instead of getting a new one she put drops of acetone. Then she didnt know how to do coffin shape. She ruined my natural nails because her English was not good. Within a day my nails chipped. 60 dollars down the drain.

Well let me start by saying I didnt get the spa experience, normally when you get a pedi the water is bubbling and the seat give you that message I got none of that. But I will give it to the person that did my pedi,she knew her job and she perfected to a tee as far as get them in and out. She didnt address my corn I had on my left baby toe and this is what I typically get when I go to this type of establishment which I try not to go to often but I was in Miami. I usually go to Contour Day Spa in Plantation and when I walk out of that place my feet look brand new as if I was a baby again. So now I have to wait to finish her work, work on that corn that she never saw. I would not recommend anyone to this place. You will feel like cattle, hurry you in and out in 5 minutes thats how long it was for my pedi. I will never go to an establishment like this again ever. I am making that promise to myself this day forward. The cost for pedi was 30.00 and I gave her a tip 6.00 because she perfected her job. The cost was not the issue the treatment was. Go to a Day Spa to get you mani and pedi done it will last longer and you get treated better.ThanksDaisy

Ive been going for years. And I only go because its convenient by my house. I went a month ago. By day 6 my gel manicure was CHIPPING. I went in to get it fixed they started to look at calendars inspecting my nails like I was lying. I had bank statements. Got the nails done again. They lasted 2 weeks. When I went again....the polish peeling by day 5. My pedicure was done in a rush because the lady was in a rush to clock out. Like come on IM PAYING!!!

I went to this place May 22, 2021 like I did for the past 5 years. And today is the first time I realize or should I say I noticed the representative at the front checking folks in cheated like 5 different customers. It appears that they no longer do appointments and myself and 3 other ladies was waiting for the past 45mins when 2 white ladies that just walk in got special rights and he allowed them to go in and get their pedi and when I asked him about it he denied it.

I normally come here to do my toes but I really wanted to do my nails so I was like let me give them a chance. This was February 28, it’s now March 6 and 3 of my nails have popped up but I expected that. The quality of my nails we honestly terrible, they have anyone doing nails in there. Would not recommend and definitely will not return

I had a mani and pedi. I walked in without an appointment. Did not have much of a wait. Enjoyed the massage on my back while having paraffin wax pedicure with hand massage. That was AMAZING!

They change the prices every day! One day your mani and pedi (regular) can be $39.00 and the next day they price it up blaming covid!If the place looks busy get ready for them to charge more for any service. If the place looks empty they charge less.The guy at the door was very disrespectful calling me a liar in front of costumers telling me that it’s always been like that since covid started. NOT TRUE!Once I showed him my past transaction showing him that I was charged 39 dollars less than a month ago he agreed that one day prices were one thing and then they change.

Worst nail salon by far. The people inside do shabby work and will try to upcharge you. I went in for a mani/pedi and the woman who was working on me left me less than impressed. She gave me medium length nails and then tried to charge me extra claiming it was long. The acrylic nail also broke after 3 days. They are very pushy and would not stop trying to upsell. I am never coming to this establishment again. I encourage others not to waste money the only thing nice about this place is the decorum.I found a new nail place (Biscayne nail and beauty bar) and they do excellent work, the scenery is very pleasant and they make me want to tip every time.

I got my nails done and 5 days after 3 nails popped off. I got gel with design cost $60. I returned back and they did not charge to fix the nails. I went back 2 weeks later for a refill and 3 nails replacement I was charged a whopping 55 with no design I gotta simple pedicure for 25 and gel polish and was charged $45 I will never return to this place again. They make up prices as they go. It cost an extra $20 for gel polish for my toes. My total for gel refill and a simple pedicure was $100.00 thats ridiculous for a refill when 8 originally paid $60 for my nails with designs.

After 40 min of a girl attempting to do a French manicure I asked her politely if she can extend the pink base so the white is not so thick. She snapped at me with a “why you no tell me earlier” so angrily as if I had insulted her. To me it wasn’t a big deal, enough to react the way she did. The way she reacted made me not want to work with her anymore so I asked if someone else could please finish my set. The rest of the time I was in the salon she was giving me an evil stare. Which made me feel very uncomfortable, as I was leaving I offered her a tip for her time in which she sarcastically was laughing and said no. Very unprofessional.

Extremely expensive..... eyebrow, pedi and gel mani cost me $70. I would be okay with the price of the product was good. My nails and eyebrows look terrible. How is this a waxed brow? Waste of money. Bulky gel polish. Just terrible, please avoid. There’s also no specific parking for the salon. you will spend 10-15 min finding parking.

Not busy late Sunday afternoon, got a perfect pedicure & felt safe that Covid protocol was being followed.

First time here, and I hate the way my almond acrylic set were done. The paint job is poor, I have acrylic over my cuticles. I told the nail tech I want Almond shape and she kept saying coffin is better and went on to do coffin and I repeated myself I want Almond. I dont understand why you go and do the opposite of what I want. I really didnt like the work done here. I will not be back...

Place is trash. Despite the reviews I gave them the Benefit of the doubt.. 3 times! They rush you, charge ridiculous prices for their work. Make sure to ask what they’re charging you, I went to two diff people and both times they over charged me and when I asked the break down .. they made the mistake and had to give me refunds both times. Save your money. I’m not picky & I tip well. Guy that does your checkout which I think is the owner or manager doesn’t monitor his employees and their over charges, just sits on his phone all day with volume loud as hell.

Unfortunately I almost cried after visiting this place, the nail technician practically ruined my cuticles, he cut my skin and the nails that I was hoping to get were a total failure. I really wish they could hire better staff because it really hurt to pay, even after requesting speaking with the manager and showed him my cuticules and nails. It was so bad that I decided to drive to the nearest Sally beautys supply and fix my nails myself.( Also I requested a water which I never got)Sad and bad experience, sorry.

Now this place they have very unprofessional worker they dont know how to clean nail and they are morepreoccupied of her phone call than the client...Really expensive for their service. Before good Spanish people working their now any one who claim they can paint nail works there.

Im PICKY and in my opinion, this place is the best. No long wait times, services dont take an eternity, never had them file so much that Ive bled - all things Ive experienced elsewhere - and every service Ive ever gotten is perfect. Ask for Tin, Tiger or Stacy. You cant go wrong.

My daughters were highly disappointed. Its just like a swap shop for nails. Dirty as well. Cuticle cutters still had skin from the person before!!!!

First time here.... And I love it! Place is beautiful, the guy at the front desk is super nice. Lots of colors to choose from to gel and regular. It is a little pricey I paid $68 for a acrylic gel refill and pedicure. Overall is worth it since you have two people doing your feet and nails.... Tiger and Jaden did mine and I absolutely love it!!! Thank you!

I called on a Saturday to see if a certain nail tech was in. I was told he was. When I arrived, I was told he had left because he was sick to his stomach. I normally would have come back the next day but was pressed for time. They gave me another guy and about 10 minutes in, the guy I had asked for walked out of the back room. I asked the guy at the desk, I thought you told me he had left. He simply told me that he came back. I think that is very unprofessional practice. When I was leaving I walked up to the tech and he told me he was sorry and that next time. I realize Im only one customer and will not make much of a difference but for sure there will not be a next time for me.Not to mention, the last two fills I have had, I have had to come back for broken nails.

Took my daughter to do her acrylics and it wasnt even cleaned off at all inside the nails theres dried up glue and we cant even take it off also the glue is all over the place on her fingers it doesnt even look natural. The technician barely spoke English and talked back and forth to another technician and we had no idea what they were saying.

I havent been back to Jivana for few months ( now I know why) First they are over price. I had to pay for $53 for a gel manicure with a very basic pedicure. A $25 for a basic pedicure and they wont even scrub my feet is just ridiculous. One lady did my feet and another lady did my finger nails so it is a very fast service which was perfect because I have my kids party in 3 hours or so but the job was horrible. The gel polish wasnt even. Some of my nails were no polish. My nails itself wasnt properly cut. The other side is square and the other side is circle. They barely remove the cuticle and there were so much polish all over my skin. I asked the lady to remove it but then she said it should go away after I wash my hands. The guy in the front was nice though . He offered me to fix it but I had to go.I dont think I will go back there ever again

I left with two different size eyebrows and. I asked for her not to use baby oil on my skin . She didnt listen . so I broke out from the oil.And the next girl spoke worse English the the first . My basic pedicure was under even and sloppy. Some were round and some were square.This was the worst experience I have at a salon.I will not be returning . And I will not recommend thin place to anyone.I would give -1000 if I had an opportunity to .Please be warned.I will be calling to report thin business.

Worst customer service ive ever seen...personnel dont speak no English, they bearly understand Spanish, technitians talk to themselves in another language in front of you that you dont know if they are cursing at you or laughing or what, VERY DISRESPECTFUL. they dont do designs and they are willing to add to your bill whatever little thing . MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE LEAVING. WILL NEVER COME BACK .

Let me start by stating that I have been a loyal customer for YEARS to this salon... I wont sit here and lie and tell you all those years have been excellent. I religiously go here every two weeks... to get a regular plain old gel acrylic full set and a regular pedicure. Some moments I have gone, it has been a hit or miss. The place is very nice looking, very well decorated and a lot of improvements and renovations. I was kind of annoyed and disappointed from my last visit because, as i previously stated in the beginning, i have been going to this salon for years. Every time i go, i go in to get the same exact services EVERY TWO WEEKS. They always charge me 60-65 dollars for my services. However, in this visit..... They TRIED TO PLAY MEEEEE!!!! Let me be clear, it is NOT about the money. If i have to spend it, i will. The point i am trying to make is: Why are you over charging me for a service that I GET EVERY TWO WEEKS and know the prices to every service on the menu. I hate when people try to take advantage of people; especially, when it comes to customers that are regulars!!! I asked Management why was i being charged $84 dollars when i ALWAYS pay 60$. They were clueless and couldnt come up with an excuse to back up there ABUSE! I got annoyed and stormed off!!!! With the most heavy heart, i have decided to research another nail place that does not over charge, or play their customers and last but not least, treat their customers with the upmost kindness and respect. The whole time i felt uncomfortable because they were speaking foreign languages and i believe that is EXTREMELY RUDE!!!!Not coming back EVER AGAIN!!!! TIGHTEN UP JIVANNA!!!!!!

Ive been going to Jivana for about a year, and I love it. Never had a time where I didnt like my nails. Especially love that they do your nails and pedicure at the same time, so Im never there more than 45 minuted to an hour, even on busy days like Saturdays.

It was my first time there and the only problem I had was being skipped accidentally on the list, which can be understandable on an extremely busy Saturday. However, in light of the mood, the receptionist made it his priority to make sure that I was taken care of and showed much appretiation as a customer. Yen did my pedicure and it was the best one yet. I definitely will go back again and recommend Yen to do your pedicure too.

Great place, awesome people. You pay what you get for. Gel mani, gel pedi, massage, hot towels and with 2 people working on you $73 + tip. I have been going there for years eventhough I do my gel sets at home sometimes I just dont feel like it and contribute to the hustle. Thanks staff at Jivana.

The only good thing I can say is that the place is nice, and they are very welcoming. I did my nails on Sunday March 30th, not even a week after that, I lost two nails, the nail polish from my toes start chipping away. I am very disappointed. A waste of my $50! Will never go back to this place. TRASH!

Not great if you want quality and service, but Good if you want a quick mediocre job. Its pretty pricey and you can get a Much Much better job for the same price elsewhere. I should have known that i was in for it when the client right ahead of me came back saying that her nails looked like a bulky bulge sitting at the end of her finger. I looked around and thought, well the technichian next to her was doing a pretty great job so lets see. Needless to say, I left a bit frustrated bc now I have to go get my nails done again. I asked the guy at the front desk how my nails looked and he laughed. He said yes very great. I laughed too and said i think they look pretty goofy. I told him that the technician next to mine was doing a really great job tho. Then he said maybe thats because hes nervous, hes new here. Thats when I died inside. My second star in this review goes out to That technician, his name is Johnny.

Amy does a great job and is gentle....shes fast too! So every two weeks, Im in and out of there pretty quickly. Great nail salon and centrally located on the corner of 125th and Biscayne across the street from Whole Foods.

WORST SALON EVER. Came in for acrylic full set. Had to have another technician finish my nails because they tried sending me out with dirty, unfinished nails, and dried acrylic on my hands. Got cut on 6/10 fingers. Within less than 48 hours, my nails peeled off on their own and when I tried coming back, they tried to tell me that with a salon full of people, no one there knew how to do acrylics. Lady up front named Lisa has a NASTY attitude. Dont waste your time.

The women that runs this store is a rude person. She stood next to me while I was sitting down getting my nails done and placed her elbow on my shoulder while she was eating an Apple and speaking in her own language to the Nail tech doing my nails. Can you imagine this is how she treats her good loyal customers. Never again, will I step foot in her nail shop. What rude behavior.

On 2/18/18 I came to this location to remove my NexGen that was put on by another salon. The removal was $10 which was a decent price but when the lady came to get the money (since they were closing shortly and couldnt wait for me to walk up to the register when I was done) she asked me for $15. I figured the additional $5 was because they put clear polish on my nails. As I was leaving I confirmed thats what the extra $5 was for with the lady at the desk, she said something to the effect that regular polish was $7/$8 (something like that) and that they were only charging me $5 as if I was supposed to feel better at a discounted price for the clear polish. I didnt leave a tip. They left my nails soaking for an excessive amount of time and rushed the removal. The nail tech didnt even buffer my nails, just cut them, filed the ends a little bit and put 2 coats of clear polish on them. The polish started chipping that same night, less than 2 hours after applying it!! Thats crazy!! At my old nail place, they buffed, filed, & put clear polish on for me at no additional charge.

HORRIBLE!!!! I got my nails done 3 weeks prior by one of the nail technician. Today I come in and request to get my nails cut down and for him to shave the acrylic thinner since it was very thick. He basically told me that he can only do a refill and cannot shave ( make thinner) the previous work that I got done from Jivanas. This place is a NO! NO! I went down the street to Nail Spa which is in the Publix plaza and my request was done with no snap back.

I have my go to nail salon but decided to give Jivana Nails & Spa a try since I was in the area. My nails were chipping less than 24hrs after dip manicure (I do not do any strenuous work with my hands). Will not be returning..

The place and the service is very poor very unprofessional I was waiting for longer than I should and when my time comes finally.I had an unprofessional girl that was on the phone half of the Was on her phone very poor very poor service.I moved to another girl.And she was even worse.I would never step my foot in there if you ask me.Oh and I found out that they use a cheap quality of products like cheap nail polish.

It was a horrible service. I asked for waxing and waited. One of the lady that work there take me in the way back the room had two people in it was cramped and the women was such in a hurry that she only did my eyebrows and she was like Im done and I said nope I still need my chin and my lips and she got so angry and did everything really fast and put something on my face. This morning I looked at my face and it was all red not from the waxing but allergic reaction and it left big red bump on my chin. Now I cant put on makeup on my chin because its a was such a horrible experiences. I will never go back ever again.

Horrible sirvices the guy didnt even do a masage on my hands till I asked him and he said they sont do it any more, so I asked him how much is manicures with yell color he said $30.00 😳 so I said and no massage? So he got some cheap cream and did it, the send me to wash my hands he got up left and left my purse and phone by itself on the table...not even wait till i come back like most of places do. This places has changed a lot. Wont ever see me again...btw no I did not tip him.
