I am so thankful for Ken’s expertise! We are in the process of purchasing a home, and the inspector found what he believed to be “organic growth.” Ken came out for a very reasonable small fee and inspected our attic.Even though we don’t have a mold issue, Ken was able to tell me about some other issues that we need to address. He also took the time to talk with me about general mold and water damage prevention. Such a nice guy and a wealth of knowledge!

The carpet and underlying pad of my Honda CRV was saturated with water. I thought the water was there because I had left the windows down during a heavy rain. After two weeks of trying to soak up the water, I finally went to McLarty Honda to get the AC system looked at. Apparently, a Jiffy Lube technician in Virginia had inserted a socket into the AC drain while doing an oil change. I began looking for someone to get the water out. All the businesses I called said they serviced homes and buildings, but not cars, including Arkansas Mold and Water. However, Ken said he would try to help me. He took my car in that day and got a lot of water out using a dehumidifier followed by running air blowers inside the vehicle. He got a LOT of water out. I am most grateful that he was willing help me!!

They are terrible. Horrible. They simply ignored my water damage, telling me theyd get around to it. Day after day until i finally gave up, asked for my money back, and called another company. The new company, service masters, came, worked, and fixed everything up nicely.

Ken & Brandon were great to work with and very professional during the mold & water remediation for our kitchen after a drain pipe leaked through our wall, cabinets, and subfloor. They took the time to explain everything to us first time homeowners in a way that we could understand, and they truly went above and beyond to help us. They checked in frequently throughout the whole process to ensure the remediation equipment was running as smoothly as possible and even offered to come out after hours if we had any issues (we didnt). They worked directly with our insurance company to get us promptly taken care of.

Ken was quite helpful in explaining how the process of mold inspection would work, as well as explaining every step of the way. With so much varying information about mold out there, it was great to work with a company with 17 years of experience in mold remediation. He and his team charged a fee for the inspection (whereas other companies advertised a free estimate yet never followed through with any solid information or numbers). That fee was well worth it, as they delivered a comprehensive inventory of the mold situation, what it would take to remediate the situation and they also advocated for me to my insurance company!

Ken from AR Mold & Water is one of the most honest and caring people. This is a community business and they take care of their people. Rather than charge me for unnecessary testing, he walked me through my grandmother’s home and explained our mold issues without charging. We will definitely come to them again in the future. Highly recommend!

I was concerned about the air quality in my house and this company was swift to respond even during such a busy season after the historic flooding. It is very rarely that I write a review, but I want to make an exception for this company, because the owner deserves it. I called Ken last week to ask if he could do a mold inspection on our home, which recently got flooded and then remediated by another local water restoration company. I wanted a second opinion to make sure that the other company had done their job properly and that there was no risk of mold in the house. What immediately struck me when I was talking to Ken on the phone was that he provided a lot of useful information, and that he came across as the absolute expert on the topic of water damage in general and mold in particular. He quoted me prices for different mold tests and an inspection of our crawl space, which were reasonable, so I made an appointment. Ken showed up exactly on time, and went to work right away. That is to say, he started looking for possible issues around the house, took moisture measurements in different places, and while doing so pointed out some trouble spots which a building contractor should fix. I would never have thought of those risks, but Ken made me aware of them. Other than those areas to be fixed by my contractor, he didnt see any sign of mold, and to my amazement, he said he didnt want to charge me for anything because mold tests were not needed. We then went into the crawlspace, and Ken crawled through the whole crawlspace for an additional 10-15 minutes, again pointing out some issues and giving recommendations on how to protect the space from moisture. All in all he spent close to an hour of his time inspecting our home, and he didnt want to charge me for anything because he said further tests were not needed, and he even praised his local competitor for the excellent remediation work they had done on our house. What an amazing customer service and honesty. Ken is not only an expert in his field, but also a very caring and honorable gentleman. Based on my experience with Ken last week, I highly recommend Arkansas Mold and Water, and I wholeheartedly believe that you cant go wrong with this company. This type of service is very rare these days.
