The bad reviews are true. This company exaggerates damages and encourages their customers to commit insurance fraud. I had a small leak in my home the rep Que came and told me my floors would need to be pulled up and if I didnt, there would be mold and water damage underneath. There was no bubbling or visible damage to my floors. He also told me if I wanted, I could ask the insurance to replace my entire downstairs flooring. When the second rep arrived she told me I should have the insurance cover my floors because if I wanted my floors redone later I would have to come out of pocket and pay for them myself. Thankfully I had a family member that worked in insurance and she advised that they not remove the floors and try drying with humidifiers with the floors in place. Of course that worked and I didnt need to pull my floors up. When I received the invoice they added unreasonable charges to ensure they could keep my 1000 deductible and obtain money from my insurance. I would not recommend using this company. I also recommend taking a look at their Yelp reviews.

We needed mitigation after noticing there was an major issue in our guest bathroom shower drain (flood). Mr. Q came to our home and professionally ensured that migration is what we needed and he kindly explained process. He was also, knowledgeable about questions I had concerning insurance, inspections throughout this process. When the technicians (Melissa, Ron, Luke, Liz, Michael and Leroy) showed up on different days they were on time and inspected each day to make sure the equipment was safe and working properly; and most importantly, they all made sure our issues were resolved as if it was their own home. We needed Mold Remediation in a small area of our home and was not well versed on the process and was apprehensive about bringing any company into our home. Well, thanks to the start of the process with Quartius Lossa with the evaluation and how the process works, put me at ease. They were actually booked for the week, but Q altered his schedule to squeeze me in and come by my home to do my inspection to address my urgent need. Then the baton was handed to Will & Kaitlyn who came in and did the removal. They were professional and thorough by taking the industry required standard by sectionIng off and containg theaffected to begin the removal to prevent airborne spread. Once the removal of the drywall and treating the areas with disinfectant - the fans/dehumidifiers were set-up. Then, finally, the baton was handed to Melissa, who completed the final inspection to ensure the drying process of the procedure was complete and safe to remove the equipment. It was and she removed the equipment. I had a leak through my ceiling; they opened up the ceiling and dried it up. The process took about 4 days. Both technicians, Will and Liz, were very professional and responsive. The sales person Q was responsive and showed up the next day when I called him. But he did not explain things to me in detail, and in writing. As a result there were surprises in the process. But when I called and voiced my concerns, he received them well. Overall they did a good job and cleaned up after themselves.

Our representative Q was very thorough and helped me with the entire process. He was very professional and nice. He explained all phases of the clean up and water damage. He gave me his number to call him anytime with questions and he answered when I called. I would use this company again.

Floodmasters was prompt to respond and gave me a detailed estimate of cost for water/mold remediation and they could begin work when I was ready. I was impressed by the professionalism of the techs, the field supervisor who checked in regularly to monitor progress, and the front office (big shoutout to Amey!) who patiently worked with me to settle a billing discrepancy between the cost of their work and the amount the insurance company provided me to pay for repairs. I was referred to Floodmasters by the plumber that had serviced a leak at my property, which resulted in extensive water damage to my floors and garage overhead. I had read some really good reviews on the company and Quartius (aka Q) in particular. So I was already anticipating a good experience. The ease of scheduling was ideal, Q came out the very next morning, on time, extremely professional, beyond helpful, and was very thorough in explaining the process from start to finish. The crew showed up on time to set up the equipment, did their thing throughout the mitigation process, communicating updates the entire time until complete. Ah-mazing! It took me going through a few worthless companies to find this jewel. I had water damage from an upstairs toilet flange issue that caused significant secondary damage. Quartius came out to do the initial assessment and immediately identified the issue. He thoroughly explained to me what happened how the problem could be remedied. The details were explained in a way that made sense and was not at all condescending while doing so. Quartius helped me file the insurance claim and was helpful throughout the entire process.The entire Floodmasters Team was fantastic, professional and easy to work with. Leroy just finished what Q started. Both Floodmaster representatives were utmost professionals or should I say heroes. Last week while I was away, my kitchen sink experienced a freak accident that flooded the hardwood floors and affected the subflooring and basement ceiling. Now only a few days later everything is dried and the hardwood floors are saved. I was prepared for much worse longterm damage and so was the insurance adjuster. I have used Floodmasters twice now for a leak in my upstairs bathroom, and I have had a positive experience both times! The first time was in May when they came in and cleaned up the leak and dried it out within 3 days, much faster than we anticipated. Later, in October, we had another leak, and called Mark and team to come and help us dry out the water in our ceiling. Not only did they come in and clean up the water, they also identified where the leak was coming from...something that three different plumbers couldnt do! Mark is great - I couldnt recommend him enough!

In March of 2020, my washer leaked and Plumber suggested Floodmaaters. Q came out Immediatly and it was taken care of. I was advised to make a home insurance claim. They told me to go ahead and pay the deductible of $1000. They cut out my carpet, walls and basically did nothing to help me. They took my money and destroy my home. Now Im out of money and my home is destroyed. Please dont use these people theyre just securing their job to make them look good. They dont care about your home. They just want the money.

Lightning fast response - we had a consultant out within 2 hours of calling, and the mitigation team out within a few hours after that. Great people - Anthony, Liz, Justin, Dustin, and a couple others Im forgetting at the moment - were all friendly, efficient, and helpful. Lastly, they helped connect the dots with insurance and contractors, which I found very helpful as I was pretty overwhelmed with the situation at our house.

I used this company when I had a major flood at my house due to a major rain. While I appreciate their immediate services, I am concerned that this company takes advantage of people in desperate situations with their warranties. At least they did with me, I fought it, and I won. But it was an annoying fight.My issue was that the company offered an expensive warranty on their services that, with the stress of many feet of water in my house, I accepted. I thought that a warranty of course sounded good!When things cooled down and mostly dried out, I thought about it and realized there was no way that they could warranty their services on this type of thing. Their warranty was that it would all stay dry and thered be no problems, unless it got wet again, say from another flood. What kind of warranty is that??When I first said I wanted a warranty, I asked for it in writing *beyond text messages stating the warranty from the worker). When I complained about the worthlessness of this warranty, I was told that I didnt pay for one or order one. (I never got an itemized billing). When I contested this part of the charges with the credit card company, they denied I had paid for any warranty, even though I had text messages from the worker saying I had. I really got the run-around on all this from them: really sketchy. For a long time, they also refused to pay me back for a pump that they thought Id need, but didnt, and they told the CC company that they had paid me back.While I eventually got my money back from this warranty scam, I wish I hadnt had to engage this shady warranty situation. So, if you find yourself in a bind, I hope you are able to find a better company to help you. At least, dont buy the warranty while you are freaking out about your emergency like I did!

After our home warranty company repaired the leaking pipes in the ceiling, we still had water soaked into the hardwoods and the ceiling.Q was at our home before the repairman left, and had a crew arrive to install the drying equipment in another hour or so. Flood masters are great people. I was referred by my plumber and the same day they came out and started working. Quarts was very helpful. This is my first home and he treated me like family and guided me throughout the process even through the rebuild. I will definitely recommend them to close family and friends. Our experience with Floodmasters has been absolutely fantastic. From the moment Quartius walked in our home to inspect the damage, I knew we had chosen the right company. Joey, Grady and Richard were all quite professional and thorough as they handled the mediation process. You will find both quality work and quality individuals by choosing this company.

We had a quick response time with our pump that gushed out into our basement. I spoke with Q who arrived at the scheduled time and the crew was out that day. Everything that Q explained happened and the company was a breeze to work with! I hope we dont have to use them again, but happy to know they are there if we do need them!

I can be a little over whelming at times and he calmed my nerves and explain things in detail.
