Safety Inspection 02 July 2021 on 2005 Jeep Liberty. Found a few minor issues. Overall, professional service, reliable work and fair prices. Didnt fuss when asked for mechanic grease prints removed from the interior. Ill be a repeat customer. Recommended.

I booked my oil change online and was impressed that I could book an appointment within 48 hours.The woman at the desk when you walk in was very kind and great to deal with. My oil change took just under a half hour which I was also impressed with.The things I did not like about my experience was that the technician who drove my vehicle into the shop, as well as out, did not wear a mask while in my vehicle. He did put a seat and floor cover in which I appreciated, but I was discouraged with no mask during these times.The other thing I wasn’t impressed with is, after getting back in my vehicle, it smelt very strongly of cigarettes. I do not smoke and the technician was not in my vehicle long, but the smell was quite strong as soon as I got in.The actual service, the receptionist and the availability of appointments was great, but it was the other details that changed my overall experience.

DO NOT USE ANY SERVICES HERE. I HAD BACK BRAKES DONE, WAS CHARGED $1000. HAD BROUGHT MY VEHICLE BACK ANOTHER 2 TIMES BECAUSE SOMETHINV WASNT RIGHT. THE LAST TIME I PICKED UP MY VEHICLE, I HAD NO BRAKES AT ALL. NOTHING. WAS TOLD I HAD A LEAK IN MASTER CYLINDER THAT MUST HAVE JUST HAPPENED. THEY NOW WANTED TO CHARGE ME $1200, ROUGHLY, FOR EACH SIDE. I SAID NO WAY. WENT TO ANOTHER MECHANIC AND THE ONLY THING WRONG WAS THAT THEY DIDNT BLEED THE LINES. WHAT A TERRIBLE TERRIBLE BUSINESS.PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE

The staff at this Midas are all professional, and will not steer you in the wrong direction. They complete the repairs in a timely manner and review any problems with you. They can than tell you what can wait and what needs to be repaired as soon as possible. Any time I have had to get a few quotes Midas has always beet the competitors price. Only once Midas was $5 higher and since I trust them I gave them the job.

Service here is great, very honest and reasonable, they usually can get you in right away!

Family member spent thousands of dollars and was served with absolutely poor diagnosis. I would not trust the management of this location and would advice others to double check with other mechanics after work has been done at this location. Technicians have failed to check the transmission oil/coolant level as both were empty and disrupted from quality performance of the vehicle. Instead advised to spend thousands and it did NOT fix the problem!!Pretty much paid for service that was not done on the vehicle at this MIDAS location.Went to a new mechanic and with new oil and coolant - car is running smoothly.Are all Midas managed this way? Taking advantage of customers?

I made an appointment for 9am today to have my oil changed at this location. The receptionist was very pleasant and said that it would be about 30 minutes and I went next door to Phyls for breakfast. The oil change was completed by 10am and I used a coupon that I received in the mail for $29.99. I think it was very good value for the price.

What an amazing mechanic. I was traveling with my family when I heard a noise coming from my tire. Little did I know, my was about to fall off. They tighted the lug nuts and fixed the problem within minutes of being there. BEST PART. Pricing was an right. Trurly a honest shop.

There is a reason that this location continues to win our local peoples choice awards. I have personally been going to this wonderful family run shop for approximately the last 6 years and I couldnt imagine going anywhere else. They go above and beyond for their customers. I have even witnessed how the staff manage irate customers. They are kind and caring. They take the time to explain everything and answer any questions you may have. They will let you know whether the vehicle is safe to drive but, do not pressure you into any repairs. Its sad how no matter how hard they try, you still cant please everyone.My husband and I love this location and wish we could give them more than 5 stars.

It is an amazing place, We live in USA and visited Canada (Niagara Falls) for our vacation when our car broke down.We didnt know what to do and by miracle was sent to this place.Everybody was so friendly and wanted to help.They immediately took our car, did an estimate and ordered the part that was brokenWe had to leave for Toronto next day and the owner and staff did everything possible to make it happenWendy, one of the associates, gave us a ride to our hotel and back to get our car.We are so lucky to meet such an amazing peopleAnd having the cute puppy, named Bandit, in the lobby of the shop doesnt hurt: make sure to say hi, pet him, and give him some kibble when you stop by (a great companion while you wait).Thank you so much for an honest, trustworthy owner and staff. Recently I changed my brakes from there after that a bad noise coming from guard plate. Again I took my car to there.. they couldnt fix that problem.. they unnecessarily ask you to change parts.. do not waste time money and your car

Do not go to this location. I went there with a brake squeal, they charged me for service, didnt fix the problem, then suggested I replace my 1 yr old brakes with the ones they sell. Had it fixed elsewhere, only to find out they didnt service my brakes after all.

Midas sucks. I go there just for the free inspections. I use them to confirm what I already knowThey hoist my car, take off my wheels and alfford me a close and convenient look at my car. Booya!

I went to this store to change a part. Before going there I called them and the lady on the phone estimated the cost about $250 and 1.5 hour to do the job. Went there and the mechanic reestimated the cost $650 and 3 hours. They return me to my home and said they will call me after 3 hours. After 5.5 hours I did not receive any call so I called them myself to ask what is going on. The mechanic himself came to pick me up and on the way back to store he did not say anything about my car when we arrived there they said during change of broken part they broke BY ACCIDENT another part and they do not have it and they called part supplier and it is not available and I should wait till getting it but temporally fixed the car so I can drive it (all this happened Saturday) and they said they will call me Monday after finding broken part. By Monday afternoon I did not received any call, again I call them and they said they forget. Long story short: I bought the part that they broke and they did not even apologized for their mistake nor offered the part for free (but they installed it for free after I argued). What they initially estimated $250 and 1.5 hour ended with about $800 and more than 8 hours. NEVER WILL GO BACK THERE again.

I can’t even tell you where to start. I received a $39 flyer in the mail which includes oil change, fluid top ups, tire rotation and courtesy check of the car. I had no idea this is going to become a complete nightmare for me. Long story short after my service Wendy at the desk gave me an estimate of $1150 for my brakes and stabilizer. The car was working perfectly fine before I got there and I asked the mechanic if the car is safe to drive to which he agreed. Once I got home, I heard some strange noise so I though must me something in my trunk. After a little while I was going somewhere with a friend and heard these weird noises like car will fall apart. I immediately called Midas and Kristy asked me to bring the car back. Mechanic decided to take the car for a test drive ALONE. Upon his return he was very agitated and I can see another gentleman getting upset. When I was waiting for the car, I checked out their sign on the door which says again that all fluids will be topped up. I immediately realized that they didn’t put any windshield fluid in my car, it wasn’t a big deal for me at that point but I politely ask the gentleman if he is a manager so he replied No I am the owner, what you want. I explained him that you guys didn’t put windshield fluid to which he replied WHATS THE BIG DEAL, WE MIGHT HAVE RAN OUT. The correct answer would be I apologize, I will investigate how it was missed and put some for you right away. Then he has the courage to ask me to wait for 20 minutes so he can go buy some. What kind of oil change business run without necessary supply. I refused since I was worried about my car then oil change. I suspect they haven’t done any service to the car and may have change or damaged my parts to scrape more money off me. Now I am unable to drive my car since I don’t have the money to get it fixed. I have filed a complaint with Midas Head office. I am so surprised how businesses like these are operation. Do not ever go this place, save your hard earned money. If you receive flyer for this location, throw it away even if they offer a free courtesy check or service. I wish I could give them negative ratings. . IF OWNER RESPOND TO THIS REVIEW,DO NO BELIEVE ANY EXCUSES HE MAKES. He may send a generic response to send a message to social@midas like he did to all the other negative feedback. VERY RUDE Horrible horrible.

Excellent Service And Prices

Been here twice both times work wasnt done properly. First time a wrong intermediate pipe was installed, the tech knew it was wrong but still installed it. Went back wasted another hour and a half getting the proper pipe installed. Second time just a straight pipe needed. The weld job looked like an 8th grader did the work, it leaked at both ends. Wasted another hour having it done properly. Not very professional. :(

Great place great people!

This place should be shut down. It is run by bunch of con artist. They lure you with fancy promotions and show their true color later. Its obvious most of the good reviews are written by family and friends. My simple oil change appointment couple of weeks before became a biggest misery for me. I have been busy and did not get a chance to warn other people who would consider to bring their vehicle to this fraud place. I finally took my car to the local mechanic on Drummond Road. Very honest guy, he told me he has had several clients who was robbed by that location. Stay away from this cheating business.

Theyve got good mechanics and customer service but they try to get you fix things that you didnt ask for but considering that is a common practice with a lot of garages now a days its to be expected but theyre quite expensive but they do use quality parts

I have felt with Midas on Lundys Lane ever since they opened several years ago. They are Curteous n very helpful!! Especially the owner Ron Balsor! I will always be a return customer thanks to the great work the techs do on your vehicles!

Never TRUST this family business!!!!If you want to get a good service,I would never recommend to go to this place .I went there for alignment because its cheaper,However the service they provided was not acceptable.After they did alignment,the steering wheel has been skewed to the left. I wanted my steering wheel to be straight, so I complained .Then,with hours and hours of arguing they said they will fix it and scheduled an appointment for the next week. They did not have their printer working at that time,so I could not get the picture of alignment.When I came the next time,they kept me exactly for one hour, and did not do anything to my car, after an hour I checked the steering wheel and it remained in the same position, to the left.So, I asked to show me the pictures of the alignment they did to see what they did,they responded that their printer is not working again,so they cant show me what they did. I said,It looks like you did not do anything,because nothing has changed,and because I was right,they became aggressive, they said that I have a language barrier which I consider to be a discrimination. Even though my first language is not English,I can clearly communicate and my English is very understandable..They probably forgot,where they came from.Anyway, I went to the other Body Shop in St.Catharines and I got a good service, and straight steering wheel,I told my story to the owner of the Body Shop in St Catharines,and because I had to pay him as well, he was trying to help me out and get my refund,He called Midas on Lundys Lane and told them that alignment did not work well with the steering wheel and that they did not do a good job, but the just hung up on him.This Father,Mother,Sister, Brother etc. business it terrible.

These people really jack the price of parts up by 300 percent. Car broke a day later. Wont install your own parts because they want to rip u off

Went in for a simple brake job, and the shop couldnt complete it. I was told by 2 of their mechanics that I had a seized caliper on the passenger side and a stripped bolt on the driver side so I told them to just put the pads on and ill figure something out myself. after talking to one of the mechanics they wanted to charge me almost a grand just to replace my caliper and bolt, that wasnt including the original qoute I got for the brake job.After wasting 3 hours and $100 on their services I decided to tackle the brakes again myself. Im 19 and have very limited experience with brakes. I noticed that the stripped bolt was not on the driver side but on the passenger side where they said I also had a seized caliper. All together it took me about 4 hours to replace both the rotors on both sides by myself. If a 19 year old with limited brake knowledge can do these brakes I cant understand why their mechanics couldnt do the same? the caliper had nothing wrong with it and I had no problem taking the bolt out without having to cut it. I personally will never recommend this shop for anything. If I couldnt trust their mechanics to do a brake job I doubt I could trust them for a simple oil change either. will never come back to this location and would not recommend this shop to anyone in the future.

I went change window switch.when i called and ask price they advise me it can be $129 or$229 before tax.cause plug type.so i bring my car in.end up ask me $308 (even use coupon).so i paid almost 100 more then what they tell me on the phone.and. noticed they installed door panel wrong. so i bring back TWICE the shop.after 30min later they say inside scrow broke while they fix switch cover.and thats NOT there fault door panel was good and tight before they took out.so i spend money and time all i got is if you want a tight door panel you need buy new part and cost few hundred that was it other then heard sorry.is it too hard to say sorry for mistakes?and it was the problem why didnt tell me the day when they install new window switch.I dont recommend this shop.

Went in with a punctured tire, they gave me options and it was fixed in 15 minutes at the quoted price. Above average fast service very professional.

The tech didn’t bother to address the root cause and just made a half cosmetic fix. The issue persisted even got worse after driving out of the workshop.Ron covered the tech and blatantly refused to fix the issue even though I offered to pay.This place is only ok to get the oil changed.
