So all the dentists around here dont accept Medicaid for working adults we have to pay out of pocket only good thing about this was the secretary was very nice on the phone

I have been going to Dr. Chung for many years, he and his staff have always been very friendly and professional, there has never been long waiting. Dr. Chung worked with me to optimize treatment plan and avoided unnecessary procedure. My hygienist Anh is so awesome, she is very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and considerate; she does fantastic and thorough cleaning that felt gentle and makes my teeth feel so clean and fresh afterward. I went to this practice for several years and really enjoyed the dental hygenist that worked with me there. Recently, however, I was recommended for 7 fillings. I had no dental work done in the past several years and, in general, have had very little dental work done in my life. No red flag was shown at the previous X-ray or cleaning.I decided to get a second opinion from another dentist in the area who told me no fillings were needed and I had no cavities at all.This is very disconcerting and disappointing to me.

My wife goes here and they are 10 times better than any of my previous dentists. Friendly, efficient, and wholeheartedly care about your dental needs. I would recommend them to anyone.

I take my children to a pediatric dentist when my oldest turned 16 I needed a family dentist that took our insurance. I asked the nurses whom I like and trust for suggestions and was given 3 choices. Dr.Chung was the top choice by 2 assistants so I took their advice and glad I did. Very nice and brutally honest with my teenage son on brushing and flossing well, which I like.

First time visit on March 25, 2020.Front Desk clerk was friendly and pleasant.The nurse that took my Xrays was very pleasant and professional.But Dr Chung was VERY UNPLEASANTHe came in and sat down and began to adjust my chair.He never introduced himself or asked what kind of problems I was experiencing.Worst experience and unprofessionalism Ive experienced in my adult life.Im 64 years old.

I am a patient at the Hampton office. I was in pain so they worked me in first thing at the Newport News office . From beginning to end everyone was kind and accommodating . Dr. Atayde even went over the costs of the 2 extractions to ensure I was aware of what was needed. Her assistant is always very helpful and pleasant. I highly recommend this practice!.

Set up appt for cleaning..... was canceled without even calling me!! Showed up and they acted like they had no clue what I was doing there!! 🤦🏽‍♀️ Never went bk!!

Last week was my very first time going to a dentist in my whole life. At first, I didnt choose this office because there isnt many reviews. But, the office I chose couldnt see me on the day I wanted so I switched to Dr. Chungs office. So glad I did! They made me feel so welcome and comfortable, being that it was my first time ever going to a dentist. They were sure to educate me on every procedure that would take place during my visits. Today, I went back to get a deep scaling (?) procedure done and the dentist and her assistant comforted me through it. They were patient with me through my fear and anxiety about this new experience. I appreciate everything about this office!

I was very pleased with Dr. Chung and his staff. If we take care of our teeth maybe we will not have to go the dentist. I had two fillings today in the front of my mouth and no pain whatsoever. That was a blessing!!! Go Dr. Chung!!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗

Said I needed over 11 fillings so I went ahead and got them done. Now the teeth she worked on are overly sensitive and I can barely eat anything. But everyone I have met there and worked with is very nice. Little rough with the tools but good

Extremely happy with their services...would not recommend a procedure that you do not need, staff is courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a trustworthy dental office.

The staff office manager was horrible. I had to take two sets of x-rays because they told me that the printer got jammed. I came there at 10 oclock got my teeth cleaned and then they tell me to come back at three for another appointment to get my fillings done. They call me a little bit after 2:00 PM and asked me if I could come in early I told them no because I was at a Nother doctors office so I was told to get there as soon as I can but my appointment was at 3 PM. So I got to my appointment at three they had me sit in that it would take a people that came after me and finally the receptionist told me that I was late and I will have to reschedule when I was there on time I appointment was at three she says she change my appointment for 2:30 thats why she called to see if I could get there earlier and when I didnt come in she replaced me with another patient. I told her when she called me to ask me if I could come in early thats all I care because I was at another appointment no one saw how to change my appointment and make it earlier and then when I get there on time tell me they had to cancel my appointment this was the worst service ever and to top it off when I went to my other doctors appointment I realize they didnt even give me my driving license back terrible service.

The OFFICE STAFF...ESPECIALLY THE RECEPTIONISTS WERE HORRIBLE. VERY RUDE OVER THE PHONE. VERY CONDECENDING. ACTED LIKE THEIR AGENDAS WERE WAY MORE IMPORTANT THAN MY WELL BEING. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN DUE PURELY TO THE RUDE OFFICE STAFF WHO IS THERE TO JUST COLLECT A PAYCHECK. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED.

Worst dentist office I have ever visited! They gave me a crown and totally shaped my teeth wrong one is longer than the other and it has already chipped after a year ! The receptionist are Extremely rude ! I will never ever refer them to anybody !!

Had a wisdom tooth pulled and felt no pain at all...She numbed the area very well.
