Dr. Watsons Office has a excellent staff. The staff is very attentive to details. Everyone is really friendly especially the front office staff Lyn and Sherry. So I went in for a routine dental cleaning and it was discovered that I had a cavity that needed attention. They were able to finish the cleaning and take care of a cavity that could of festered for weeks until a follow up appointment. Thank you Suzanne, Sally, Dr. Watson, and Bria for taking care of the cavity and dental cleaning. Job well done.

I have thoroughly enjoyed and been at ease as a patient of Dr. Watson. Finding a new Dentist can prove to be a challenge, however from my very first visit I knew I had made the right choice. Suzanne is THE BEST dental hygienist I have ever had. Coming from a person who genuinely enjoys the dentist, my previous hygienist really made me feel like my teeth were never worthy LOL. I was always made to feel like every tooth was inspected to provide any sort of criticality and it really ruined what I usually find as a therapeutic experience. Suzanne made me feel the exact opposite. She is such a sweet, caring and genuine person and I am never made to feel like real life doesnt exist in between teeth cleanings. I feel at ease and comfortable and am fully able to enjoy my therapeutic experience. If you are contemplating switching from your current provider, I would highly recommend and consider Dr. Watson and ABSOLUTELY request Suzanne as your hygienist. I promise you will not be disappointed and will love your dental experiences just as I have and will continue to do.

Very pleasant character and very patient, but unfortunately with no technical skills. Touched 3 of my teeth over two years and all ended up with complication, resulting in 2 root canals and 2 crowns on two teeth I had absolutely no problem with. Only the third one could be saved after weeks of discomfort. And I’m talking about teeth with no problems, not a tooth in a bad condition.Not having high technical skills is not a disaster if one admits his lack of knowledge and try to learn. But when you don’t admit it and continue your wrong method over and over and cause people pain and suffering and turn their lives into constant torture, you’re not to be forgiven. I won’t forgive you for turning my 2 years in Virginia into constant suffering, pain, and torture. I won’t forgive you for your dishonesty when you look into my eyes and tell me there’s nothing wrong in that X-ray, while other dentists can right away point out how close the pulp horns are to the filling, causing this pain and now needing root canal and crown. The filling you made with a gap, even food gets stuck in it now.But more than all this, I won’t forgive myself for letting you touch my tooth again just 1 week before I leave Virginia, after all the failures you had earlier on my other teeth. So now I have to keep suffering for another month until I settle in my new state and find a root canal specialist there.And y’all in your office suddenly got so alarmed when you found out I’m leaving my job soon, so you wanted to take the most out of my insurance, I was given an appointment for an hour later, and my insurance and I were charged more than usual (since when 20% of $306 is $70?!)I suggest instead of replying to this review and trying to blame all your failures and technical errors on my grinding (which I admit is causing me issues, but not those issues that your errors caused), go learn proper techniques and treatment methods, so other people won’t have to go through all the suffering and financial burden (more than $2,000 unnecessary out of pocket) that you inflicted on me.I wish I could pay another $2K and undo all the harm you have caused me.Update after your response:“High Quality dental care” you say! I’d laugh at your joke if I was not in this pain, as a consequence of your “high quality dental care”.I had one root canal after you messed up the upper tooth, and the second one is required now right after you messed up a simple filling two weeks ago on a good lower tooth. The one you shamelessly looked into my eyes and said theres nothing wrong in the X-ray after filling. But any dentist who sees that X-ray points out right away how close the pulp horns are to the filling, causing this terrible pain and needing root canal and crown now. A dentist with the minimum technical competency would refer to the X-ray you already had on file and would see the anatomy of the tooth and pulps before starting the filling, so this could be avoided. It would cost a double click and the minimum knowledge.Just because your magic touch gave me the souvenir of pain and suffering to carry with me after my time in Virginia all the way to the west coast until I settle down there and get the treatment done, it doesn’t mean that didn’t happen here! So this is how it is 2. You touched 3 of my teeth, damaged 2 to the extent that they needed root canal and crown, and only one tooth could be saved after few weeks of pain and sensitivity due to your improper height adjustment combined with my grinding.

So out of nowhere my tooth starts hurting, but I’m hiding it from my girlfriend, because worrying her is a death wish. But eventually, it gets unbearable, and I begin to think I have an abscess. I’m from New York, not native to Virginia by any means, so I don’t have my own dentist situation setup. I’m scrambling around with my girlfriend freaking out next to me trying to find a place to help me. We eventually find Dr. Watsons office. We rush in and immediately tell them I believe I have an abscess. They returned the favor and rushed me into an exam room, with no prior knowledge of my arrival or situation, no prior appointment arranged. They quickly determined that intact was not an abscess, but that my gums were very much inflamed and I had the tiniest food particles stuck in the wrong places, and my lack of flossing allowed them to get lodged in crevices and cause an immense amount of discomfort. Within 10 minutes my pain had subsided and they had me feeling better. While working his handiwork, Dr. Watson was even able to instruct a pupil by demonstration. I definitely recommend such a phenomenal dentist team to all, and I will be going back. Thank You for the rescue Dr. Watson!!!

The dental care provided is excellent. My dental technician always does a thorough cleaning, but does it gently and with a minimum of discomfort. I actually look forward to my visits to the dentist!

I hate going to the dentist - however- I cracked my tooth and was in pain. I called several dentists before calling Dr Watson and his staff got my in the next day. The whole experience was fantastic. Dr Watson explained everything he saw on the x-ray and we decided to pull my tooth. Again, I hate dentist offices- the noise, the tools, the whole experience however they made my visit as pleasant as it could be. Dr Watsons son gave me the novocaine and made sure I was completely numb. They talked their way thru everything and before I knew it my tooth was out! I was very impressed with the whole visit and I even made an appointment to go back and get a regular check up. The ladies at the desk were super helpful. To top it off, Dr Watson called me in the evening to check and make sure I wasnt having any problems ! This dentist office definitely cares about their patients ! I will definitely recommend everyone I know to Dr Watson!

Dr. Watson has been my familys dentist for just over 20 years now, and over that time, we have received a huge array of services (regular cleanings, deep scale, crowns, veneers, whitening, etc.). Veneers done 16 years ago still look brand new. My most recent experience with an implant turned out better than I had imagined! The whole staff is welcoming, extremely friendly, and take the time to listen. Plus, if youre a lighthouse buff, the office décor is amazing.

I wouldn’t even dream of giving this place any less than 5 stars. Every person in that office is happy, smiling and welcoming. They work hard to schedule you even when they’re fully booked, they’re also respectful of your time and get you in and out. I had a filling and they wanted to make sure I didn’t feel a thing, they asked how I was doing ever few minutes because I told them I was nervous. Great staff with a great atmosphere, never have had a better dentist or hygienist.

Best darn dentist in this area. SERIOUSLY!!! Had a comprehensive exam done, they gave me a plan of action to correct my neglected mouth. I just knew that I was in for a painful experience (I based that off of past dental experiences), only to be amazingly surprised. Pain free procedures (other than the initial numbing), and they get a 5 star from me. By the way, the staff here are great. Very knowledgeable and they really do care about your dental care. AMAZING staff and dentist!!!! Im absolutely terrified of going to the dentist! I had a VERY VERY painful toothache so I was desperate to get get it pulled. When I called and told them what was going on the staff got me in that day literally an hour after I called. So I went in and told them how scared I was so they was super gentle looking at it and see what was going on. Dr. Watson Had put me on medication to get the infection out and pain meds for the horrific pain for 2 days then brought me back for the extraction. He made sure he really got every part numb and was so gentle doing it that I didnt feel a thing!! I would recommend him to anyone and everyone!! Anytime I do need something Ill be sure to go here. Dr Watson is an excellent, very skilled dentist. His staff are wonderful as well and everyone works together to insure that your experience is the best. Dr Watson and his team work well with people who have dental anxiety and with those whove had bad experiences with other dentists. He is very conscious of his patientss budgets and will work diligently with your insurance to make sure your dental work is affordable.
