We are extremely pleased with the recent service on September 15, 2021. Denver Farley arrived at our house on schedule to do a booster termite treatment on our house and garage, to replace the vapor barrier in our crawl space, and to replace some of the deteriorated insulation. He worked diligently to get the job done. I periodically checked in with him, and he would give me a good explanation of the work he was doing. He did a really thorough job of cleaning up everywhere when he was finished. We are happy that Denver did a nice jog.

Phill Davis and his assistant were excellent. They were professional, polite and very knowledgeable. Phil spoke very clearly and explained everything very thoroughly. We are very satisfied with the service.

Derek came out for pest and termite control on 8/18 while my wife and I were at work. I received a series of emails from National Exterminating between 11:13 am and 12:18 pm on 8/18 with the amount I owe for services rendered and a description of services completed which I read a few days later. I came home from work around 3:20 pm on 8/18 and noticed a door hanger on my front door that National Exterminating was at my house and completed work. I inspected nine of my bait stations and seven of the bait stations did not look like they were even touched. I know this because they were either covered with mulch or covered with overgrown grass. I called NE around 3:51 pm and asked what services were completed the lady on the phone stated pest and termite control. I told her that my bait stations werent even touched. She read technician notes that bait stations were checked and had no termite activity. Really!!! So I get billed for services not rendered!!! Come on NE!!! Ive been a customer with NE since 2008-2009. So an appointment was made for another technician to come out Tuesday 8/24 to actually check the bait stations while Im home. The technician Derek called me shortly after that call with NE and stated he didnt have a site map of bait stations when he serviced my house earlier in the day but was going to call me after he completed his route to inform me that he did not check my bait stations. They would have to reschedule another visit. Derek did come back to my residence 30 minutes later after we spoke with a site map and I personally showed him the bait stations. In my opinion if I didnt check the bait stations and call NE I would have paid for a service I didnt receive. The visit on 8/18 wasnt scheduled and usually isnt which is convenient with me. However if I continue with NE I will have to be home to make sure I get the services I pay for. Up to this point I have always had Terrence as my technician and trusted him completely to get the job done. He is thorough and very knowledgeable. I was informed that I would be getting a new technician recently so this is my first full on formal complaint with NE. Derek said their was a miscommunication with what the NE office told me but I received emails hours before I called with the bill and that pest/termite control was completed. It was already documented on their end that the service was completed now pay us! This is disappointing as a consumer.

I had been a very faithful customer of National for 16 years. i used National for termite inspection for closing when i sold my home. Guess what??? The inspector found TERMITES in my home!!!!!!!!!National was scheduled to come to my home to make repairs needed for closing. No one showed up I called several times of course stating my name and phone number along with a message for someone to call me back as no one came to do the repairs. I called several times!!! No call back no one showed up. Well the day before closing i had to franticly call a contractor to repair the damage paid for this out of my pocket. Guess when National finally showed up the day after the new owners moved into the home. I called National and was told someone tried to call but they didnt have a phone number for me but each message i left my name and phone number?!?!?!i told them i had to fire a contractor to get the repairs completed for closing and they needed to reimburse me the money i had paid the contractor. I was told they would only reimburse me $100. This contractor had cost me much more since I needed him ASAP! Nope they only reimbursed me $100. I would never never never use or recommend National Exterminating!

Emily is wonderful. She is always on time, very polite and friendly. She knows the business and does a great job.

Dan was so thorough in our annual termite inspection. The conditions were lousy on the day he came and he did an exemplary job. National is a very professional company and a great value. We use them for termite annually, the price is reasonable, the techs are knowledgeable and are real partners in maintaining our home and its value.

Emily comes on a quarterly basis to check my house for beetles & centipedes as well as the critters listed on the prior question. She is professional & very easy to communicate with each time she is here. She does a great job each visit. She also checks for termites & checks the termite preventative that is in several areas outside the house each quarter.

Ive had National Exterminating handling my homes for years and Im always pleased with the work. I have to say that JohnBoy is my favorite tech. I have known him from when he sprayed for my office and he is the best. He is professional and extremely polite. An all around great guy and probably one of the very best employees.

Anthony came to check the bait traps for termites, all was good. He is a very friendly, funny, and professional guy. We had a conversation about bugs, like what else do you talk about with an exterminator! He advised my husband of another product to use for ants other than the one he had been using, so were going to give it a try. Hes just an all around professional very personable guy. Cory performed a termite inspection at our house in conjunction with a real estate sale. I cannot say enough good things about him - he showed up on time, was extremely knowledgeable, polite, and conducted a very thorough inspection. I have used this business since the house was built in 1997. Company always responsive to any problem. Personnel friendly and courteous. Technician that applied booster treatment right on time, pleasant and cleaned up area before he left.

Despite my house being under termite warranty for many years and multiple inspections I ended up finding termite damage in a load bearing exterior wall from a colony that is estimated to be 5 years old. Their product failed and their inspections were not adequate. When we called to report what we found it took them a week and 3 different people to actually answer our questions. The first group they sent were rude and dismissive. During that same time period we were able to have 2 different exterminating companies come to our house and provide thorough and detailed information to us. We have since cancelled all our services with National and couldn’t be happier with the level of service we’re receiving elsewhere.

Apparently did a good installation of vapor barrier. spent as much time sitting in truck smoking cigarettes than under the house....may be because something has to dry or settle before they can go back. very pleasant and professional installers though.

The inspector, Anthony, called to say that he was on his way to perform the inspection. He was prompt, courteous, very knowledgeable, and explained everything that he was doing. When he came into the house, he immediately put on booties to cover his shoes.Previous to this inspection I had a problem with bees and wasps, and Anthony resolved the problem the first time he came out in the early summer, and I havent had any problems since then.I highly recommend National Exterminating Co. and Anthony.

It should be Nationals responsibility to make sure the exterminator gets inside the home. We had a problem inside and when we caught it there was a lot a damage. Sending a notice isnt enough. They should call and make appointments to get inside the house. I think that is a shortcut on service. We pay for you to be responsible the the service. Why leave it up to us?

My husband and I recently contacted Johnboy after hours, with pictures to show him these tiny little beetles that started appearing in my kitchen. Johnboy came right over, after hours, to inspect the situation, explain thoroughly what they were and put some glue traps down in areas to help eliminate these tiny beetles. I have used this service for several years and have had no complaints. They are prompt, courteous and respectful, and go about their work with the least amount of intrusion on my day. However, they do provide verbal feedback re any findings and answer questions, when asked. In addition to termite inspection, I had them restore my crawl space moisture barrier.

The technician was informed and very helpful. He pointed out our problem clearly and had suggestions as to addressing it.

We have been customers with National since 1986. Had a termite warranty with them all this time. We recently had another company do an encapsulation project on our crawl space. National cancelled our warranty immediately upon their yearly inspection. They indicated the encapsulation was not up to their standards. We actually had an estimate from National for this job. However we went with another company.The new company did leave a 3-4 inch exposure of wood to indicate any termite activity. We have had no termite activity in the 35 years we have lived here. At no point during our years with National has there ever been any indication that an encapsulation project done by another company would invalidate our warranty. Obviously loyalty to long term customers is not important to the team at National.

National Exterminating Co / Billy has always been efficient, effective and responsive to my needs. The service has included annual termite and periodic yard sprays to eliminate or reduce the presence of mosquitoes and ticks.

Jerk backed in and blocked the sidewalk right at the begining forcing people to walk in the grass. VERY inconsiderate, RUDE. And were supposed to let this inconsiderate jerk into our homes???

Our young man was very friendly, ahead of time, took his time to be thorough and advised us. It was a pleasure having him here.
