No matter what I have called Orkin about the tech they have assigned to my home is ALWAYS on time, professional, thorough and helpful. Even when I call for treatment in between my normal cycle they are always responsive and helpful.They do excellent work and I would recommend them to anyone!
I appreciate the work done. I do not understand how the house can be inspected, treated but inspector, on last visit, could not do an inspection. The traps were also not checked. No other work has been performed other than the dehumidifier serviced. The insulation is in the condition left after 1st treatment.
This was just a regular home spray. Orkin was willing to send someone out the next day to help deal with insects around the house. The technician, Lance, took the time to go over options with me on how to control flying pests around my door, and he even tried the mosquito blower at no additional charge to see if it would help. I have never had any issues with Orkin, and I would highly recommend!!

I have used Orkin for years. They come on a regular basis to make sure we keep the bugs at bay. They do a very good job. Lee, our technician, always takes care to sweep away any spider webs that have formed since the previous visit. He also makes sure to address any specific issues we might have based on the time of year. He also counsels us on pest management prevention. Thank you Orkin and Lee!

I do not leave reviews, however, I had to today!My Orkin technician is Andre (Hampton, VA). He is very professional and knowledgeable. Because of him, I have been with Orkin for almost a year.I initially moved to Virginia from another region and was mortified of some of the bugs I encountered (centipedes and silverfish). I would see 5 a day! I reached out to a local “green” company but the service was bad, still had bugs and the owner was not kind and treated me like a number. The owner blamed me that I still had the bugs in my ceiling, and said it was unnecessary to check the attic space!I called Orkin and Andre came over, he actually sat down with me and answered my questions about centipedes and silverfish etc. and other various bugs in the region. Then he went to work spraying setting up bait, etc. When I told him about the previous exterminator and what he said about the attic, Andre didn’t hesitate to get a ladder and go to the attic. He told me that it was very clean but humid and this is probably where they were nesting. He set out bait. Since Andre started working in my home I have seen maybe 3 silverfish in total!Andre is very flexible with scheduling, respectful of my home and willing to answer any questions that I have. Because of him, I will continue with Orkin!

The tech we had come out from Orkin was named Kevin & he was on time, professional & very knowledgeable. Explained to me all he was doing around the inside/outside of the house. Took his time with checking everything & appreciate him looking under my couches to be on the safe side lol so far a good experience with Orkin & I hope it continues. The price wasn’t bad at all either for all they’re doing.
I had Orkin come out to the house to spray for roaches and ants and while out here, Andre explained exverything to me, he was polite and thorough. He seemed confident and knowledgeable. I enjoyed and felt safe during our short interaction. I would recommend Orkin to anybody looking for quality pest control.

Wonderful company! Called due to a Springtale problem. We had a quote and a technician to our house the same day as the call. We were given a service window from 12-2 pm and our technician was at our house by 1230 (and texted prior to coming to let us know he was on the way). He was extremely polite, knew what we was doing and recommended us to call in 5 days for a follow up service free of charge. Could not recommend this company enough.

I have been an Orkin regular customer since 1986. I have had many technicians over the years and they have all been really great. In the spring or the fall when things pop up, they come right away even they had just been there for regular service. They are always professional, knowledgeable, respectful, and courteous. The customer service is terrible and dont forget they will put you in a 12 month contract. They do not kill the following insects...roaches, spiders, mosquitoes, and any other insects

Scheduled maintenance was never assigned to a technician, so the service was only done sfter I called to complain about a no show.
I received my consult, they did the job, and are still doing so and if I need explanations or more info, they take the tone to explain it. Today James gave me some new info about the products! Very very pleased with him and his work!
We have used Orkin for pest control since we purchased it home in 2017. The scheduling is convenient and our technician, Lee, is the best. He is knowledgeable, professional, and personable.
I am always notified of the time range that my service will be provided and that is always met. My service person is very respectful and cheerful. Since starting the service, my original ant problem is well controlled.
I just moved into a new home and sound a lot dead roaches and was worried I would be infested when got warmer. Orkin was very professional and worked with me on reasonable price the contractor that came was very quick and answered all my concerns since I have 3 fur babies and a child I was worried of the chemicals and was glad that it would not affect them in anyway def if your military or civilian use this service !!

After hearing good things about Orkin, I called early this morning to seek help with a rodent that was inside of a wall in my house and specifically asked if removing the rodent was possible. I was assured that it would be and that the technician would thoroughly look both inside and outside of the house to find points of entry and either mesh them, caulk them, or go over with us what we needed to do to fix the issue if construction was needed. That was far from what happened. The technician got there and put sticky traps down and gave us poison to put down ourselves. He didn’t go over anything with us about where he thought they were coming from or even attempt to get the rodent from inside the wall. After calling Orkin back to figure out why I am paying so much money for sticky traps and poison I was routed to the local office in Newport News, Virginia. The lady I spoke with told me they aren’t capable of removing rodents. I explained to her the situation and how I specifically asked for the rodent to be removed from the wall and was prepared for them to do anything necessary to either put poison in the wall or get the rodent out through the wall and she stated they don’t remove rodents unless the wall is already open. After asking if there was anything else that could be done to help us she said there is nothing she can do for me.I would have NEVER made the appointment if it had been communicated to me properly what was going to be entailed (putting sticky traps down)in this process and spent the money on someone who was capable of removing the rodent. This was a HORRIBLE experience, horrible customer service and extremely poor communication. I will NEVER be using Orkin again!
When they didn/t come and inspect my property I wasnt going to pay for no service. When they finnaly came to inspect my propety in April, I sent in my annual payment. Ive always been happy with Orkin so I was very disapointed when they didnt come to inspect my place in Feb. as they always have. I thought you were out of business. Im glad you are still in business!

This company is horrible. They did not do an inspection on my house and assumed my dogs who had been passed away for almost a month were to blame for our problem. Here we are months later and they still can not fix our problem and voided our contract because they could not do their job. Did not give us any back either for this horrible service. Do not recommend anyone using them

The inspector who came out to inspect the bate traps, spent time looking over each trap and replacing some damaged caps, very professionally in appearance and the way he conducted himself.

He did let us know That the problem wouldn’t be fixed over night, but the company has no problem coming back to do more visits for no extra charge before my next scheduled visit. The two Orkin techs that came to my house were nice, clean, and professional. I was tending to my newborn and they took care of their business and I didn’t have to worry about anything. I called in the morning and they were there in the afternoon when they said they’d be here. I need to let a couple days go by for the pest results, but the response from Orkin was great.

Orkin is a name that Im familiar with and Ive always been satisfied with their service so it was a no brainer to use them when we moved back to the area. They are responsive, most times being able to get out to you the same day or in a couple of days. Id recommend them to anyone. I also like having the same technician because I know who to expect and hes familiar with our property.
We have been using Orkin for at least five years now and they never fail to impress with their service. During this time we have only ever had one technician, Mr. Gregory. He is the absolute best and always takes care of us. He always has time to address issues and answer any questions that we have. Gregory always remembers things about our family & is particularly kind to our 8 year old son who loves to pepper Gregory with questions. If we have any pests at all, all we have to do is call and they will come right out. They will continue to return at no charge until the issue has been resolved. Their level of service and superb technicians are why we will always stick with Orkin.
This was, by far, one of the best Orkin agents to spray my property. She took her time and did an excellent job. She did not rush through the procedure but made sure she covered everything. Please make her my permanent agent
Our technician was courteous. He tried to educate us about the type of roach we may have seen by giving descriptions of the various types. At one point I was standing in the path of one of the chemicals he was spraying and he alerted me. We trust him with the work he is doing and how he executes.
Kaitlyn was awesome and related to me when I was worried about the kids and the baiting and spraying with 2 crawling babies.
They performed a service and then billed me for it after I notified them to cancel service after I had sold the property.

My 4 stars represent the responsiveness of Orkin. They were able to treat one of my rental properties within a few hours of calling. If my issue is resolved with this treatment there’s no doubt they would receive 5 stars.

I was please with the services provided for the first ten months of the contract. Recent change in onsite inspector has turned in to a disaster. Refuse to perform crawl space inspection and services as stated in the contract for cockroaches. Last two visit the onsite inspector refused to remove spiderweb from exterior of house. The inspector was a no show on one occasion without notification. Notified the Hampton office to get clarification from management, not available. Stated that management would contact us after 3pm. We are still waiting on a manager to contact us. It’s evidence that orkin no longer value us as a customer.
Justin was highly knowledgeable, methodical, and professional. He found and addressed issues that competitors missed. I now know my family house is in good hands.

Was told they would do a home inspection within 10 days.... no one has contacted me or come back. So I’ll be calling back in the morning 😔Edit: so after this review and a few phone calls. The new manager came out to check on my place and made sure I was taken care of as far as pests...the tech that comes out is very nice always wears his mask and booties to protect my family and floors.As far as encapsulating your house.... ask questions!!! The tech told me all was included in the $8200 price only to find out 3 months later it wasn’t and my contract went to the wrong email after the service tech annotated the error the first time they visited my home....So they removed the insulation but didn’t put any back in. They placed a dehumidifier under my house (the phone call and manager got it hooked up 3 months after the fact) I haven’t seen or noticed the termite treatment that was also included in the price. I went with Orkin cause my dad works for them but apparently different area means different quality of work.I’m off to make more phone calls.
The new service rep that came out to my home today (Aug 13, 3020), Katelyn, did a wonderful job. She was courteous, helpful, and respectful. However, her manager, Thomas, was rude and condescending to me. The service rep called Thomas and put him on speaker phone in order to speak to me about a particular pest problem Ive been having. He raised his voice and chastised me for putting borax down in between Orkin servicing. He was extremely rude so much so I even noticed the service rep standing next to me appeared shocked and embarrassed. I pay too much to deal with this and not see the consistent results Id like to see. Im canceling my service as of today.

I had topical roaches its been a few months and still have them but not as bad I cant say it is or isnt working because I see them but never see any dead ones around to say its working its almost like they get adapted to the pesticide or just breed twice as much when they feel themselves dying off

If I had the option of not leaving one single star I would, but unfortunately I do not. I called yesterday to set up an appointment for a representative to treat our newly purchased home and to enroll in a preventative maintenance contract. The agent scheduled an appointment for today between the hours of 2pm and 4pm. Well, the end of the 2 hour window approaches so I call back to inquire as to where the technician is and am told that someone from the local office will reach out to me. Over an hour passes with no call and no technician so I call the local office. I am then told that the manager will call me as soon as possible with an update. At 8:40pm after waiting for a phone call and or a technician, of which neither ever comes, I attempt to call the local office which is closed. I have to call the toll free number to cancel service and ensure that I will not be charged and all of this happened surrounding my initial service appointment! This is extremely unprofessional and very disappointing given their reputation and multiple offices. Do not waste your time with this company.

I wasnt overly impressed with Orkin. One good thing was they were able to get to me the day I called which was a relief. The technician arrived late but did call to let me know. He was very friendly and knowledgable. My issue is that I have mice that got in the house somehow while I was on vacation for a week in OBX. And they have made themselves at home. I have a 3 story townhouse with about 2000 sq ft. And an attic and crawl space. The technician only put out 10 mice traps because he ran out. I was his last apt of the day. With a house my size I feel I need about 3 times that. I just feel like I was shorted. 😕
