Ive been shopping at Jared the Galleria in Newport News, over a few years now and Shana is great! Shana, always go above and beyond to assist me in all of any of purchases. Even if the Newport News located doesnt have something that seen online, Shana will get the item from another store for me. I called Shana a couple weeks ago looking for this bangle and the only store that had was in Georgia. Less than a week Shana, had it for me in her Newport News location. The bangle was big for my wrist, but not a problem, Shana had it customized to fit my wrist. She is great for making all my purchases worth it!! Ill always use her for all my jewelry purchases!!

I always have a great experience at Jareds. Its where we get all our jewelry from, its where we get it all serviced, and the staff is always pleasant in every store we go to. Their prices can be on the high end, but most of their jewelry also comes with their lifetime warranty, and for a little extra you can get their protection plan, or their watch plan when you buy watches. You can go in anytime, unannounced, and get your jewelry cleaned... even jewelry that you didnt buy from them. They inspect everything and clean it for you. Getting your Jareds jewelry serviced is also pretty easy. In the beginning of the apocalypse (covid) it sucked because the wait times to get your jewelry back were long, and they were even discouraging people from getting certain services done, but now in their new normal its a relatively quick turnaround for getting your pieces back. Weve been to Jareds stores in Boston and in Virginia.

My wife and I had a great experience at Jared the gallery of jewelry. Amy and Renee helped us with our beautiful new ring that my wife loves. The jewelers Tim and Eddie talked to us and did a wonderful job of setting the diamond and sizing her ring. When we picked up the ring the staff made us feel special about our purchase.

I received my ring from Jared and they have an amazing warranty program. I get free inspections and cleanings and the associates always seem to be happy that Im there. Great place to find the perfect piece of jewelry! Great payment plans and they seem to genuinely want to help you.

Kudos for making folks wear a mask before being allowed entry into your store. Didnt get the ladys name who helped me pick out a gift for my husband but she was very nice. Very quick transaction and out the door I went. Little sad that I googled Hamilton watches and Jareds came up as carrying them. But when I actually went into the store I was advised they do not carry them any longer. I did see they were available through online sales. Needless to say should another occasion lead me to looking for something dazzling I will definitely seek out Jareds again.

Today was an unbelievable as well as unexpected visit to Jared in Newport News my husband has been a customer there for 14 years got my engagement ring and both wedding band from there our anniversary was Friday 10 years!!!! The excitement was turned into a complete disaster for my husband he went in to get a ring he “thought “ he purchased to be told it was sold !!!! They said it was some billing address problem but NO ONE called to say anything!!!! He goes in on Monday to pick up this ring that is mysteriously gone because nothing anyone said made any sense and the staff .... I have Never been there and been treated so unconcerned and just kept repeating information that just doesn’t sound right And the kicker is upon returning a ring my husband got but I told him it wasn’t what he wanted to get me so I dont want it plus I didn’t like how they were so none caring . Words are everything seems they need more staff training in customer service because No One ask if I wanted to see anything else !!!! Really!!! How non caring so when I ask the lady that was eager to put us out the store about showing anything else her reply was I thought you were just returning because you didn’t like it!!! Wow a store like Jared stood out from other jewelry stores. Maybe the managers are the problem because the staff reflects them wish I could leave no stars because this was unbelievable!!!t They sure know how to ruin a special moment!!

I love this Jared store. It’s the only place I go to for purchasing jewelry, watches, etc. The employees go above and beyond to making sure you are happy. They have a great service dept for taking care of any service you need for your jewelry. The gentleman who helped us, Bobbie, was very professional. He made sure all questions we had were answered and he has an amazing knowledge of diamonds and gemstones. We also had assistance from Amy, she spent a lot of time with us with great suggestions. She had many different ideas to make sure what we were looking for was found, and she made it so easy. Regardless of who helps you, this store has an amazing atmosphere and everyone is helpful and happy to help you. Very friendly.

They have good COVID procedures and disinfect all jewelry before handling it. The jewelers are very knowledgeable and helpful

This store is first class all the way from the selection to the employees. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by a friendly employee ready to help. Today I was offered coffee or water while I waited to pick up my watch which was in for repairs. If you want quality jewelry or watches this is for you highly recommended! Ive bought 2 or 3 watches here and whether Im here to buy or get service on a watch on their service plan I am treated exactly the same

They are so nice and helpful!! My husband and I went to get new wedding rings, we weren’t sure what we wanted but they were very helpful. We both fell in love with the same mount and they even worked extra hard to get it mounted and engraved the same day for us since we were here from out of town!! I would highly recommend them!!

My now fiance and I were looking at engagement rings. We had been to probably 10 different places. He was very particular about the quality and right price for what he was getting. The other problem was that I am a size 4 so many places wouldnt size down the ring we wanted, they could only special order it and it would take 6+ weeks. With me being pregnant, we didnt have time for that! He finally went without me to Jareds and told me I would have a ring the next day at 7 PM. I thought no way...but WOW! (They do everything on site) It was the perfect ring, perfect diamond, in my size, & somehow he didnt have a huge amount of buyers remorse! I believe he went through the assistant manager named Amy? to make it all happen. He got a gorgeous setting with a VS2 colorless diamond he chose for a better price that other places! We are both extremely pleased at what they were able to do for us. Its been almost a month now and I am still gawking at it. He gets compliments all the time for how good he did. Highly recommend!

The jewelry is beautiful and some workers are better than others. I am very disappointed in their records of jewelry. I have been taking my jewelry there every six months for years to have it checked since I have extended protection. They will not cover my ring which I have been bringing every six months which I purchased about 25 years ago at Kay. Make sure you keep your receipt, because if they cant find it in their records, they will not believe you. I have had this ring fixed at Jared in the past. I used to have paper inspections but they said I could throw them out, because it was in their system.

This is the only store that we (myself and husband) shop at. Ive got my engagement ring from here and no other ring can compare, even at Jareds. Ive had my Pandora bracelet from there as well and my husbands wedding band. Now he has broken his ring many of times due to the nature of his job and every time it was a hassle free return. They know us by name when we enter the building and instantly take care of us no matter why we are there. No other store can compare to them and never will!

The staff was courteous and helpful from the moment I walked in. Amy was great, when the engagement ring i wanted was unavailable she sat with me and designed multiple rings until I felt confident I had found the perfect one. I never felt rushed or pressured and will definitely come back for all of my future jewelry purchases.

Ok. Ive read some of the reviews here and they are alright, but let me just tell you about this store. This store is amazing with amazing people there to take care of you. I have met both the manager and the assistant manager and they are just some lovely people! You will NOT be disappointed coming to Jared. Im now engaged with an amazing ring and I could not be any happier. Thank you Jared Galleria of Jewelry and all the people who work there to make it such a wonderful experience!!

Great service and beautiful jewelry. I get all my jewelry repaired and cleaned at this location. They dont send it out and you can see whats happening on site if you want. The staff is friendly and helpful and they have a large selection of beautiful jewelry and watches from which to choose. Definitely my favorite jewelry store in the area.

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE IN TOWN!I have not found another place in town that I am more willing to spend my money at. After multiple visits here in search of the product I wanted, each person here seems to be dedicated to great customer service and making you feel welcomed by taking care of your needs. The general manager Melisa is clearly the one providing the direction and leadership that any great organization has. After working with her on a special order Tag Heuer, I can see that she a positive impact everyone else’s behavior and as a result there’s a great organizational climate in that store. This makes customers feel welcomed and not pressured.Melisa went above and beyond to get me what I wanted. Meaning the level of “picky” I was being was probably not worth her time for a single transaction but she was instrumental in the process of searching for my watch (after multiple other orders) and eventually making me very very pleased. She put her neck on the line and reached out to her regional manager and Tag rep to get a lower price authorized for my watch that arrived with a minor scratch on it.I will definitely be back for future needs when it comes to watches, gifts and jewelry for my wife.I highly recommend this location!

We will never be visiting this Jared or any Jared ever again. We took my Great Grandmothers wedding ring to this location to have it re-sized. They sent it out to have the work done. When the ring was sent back to the store, the employee unpacking the box it came it got distracted. He ended up THROWING A 80 YEAR-OLD RING IN THE TRASH. Because of them we now have lost a very important family heirloom.

Nice selection of jewelry... When you are purchasing the salespeople are extremely nice... When you are making a payment for the items you already bought, they act like you are wasting their time. Totally different treatment after the sale. I dont see myself purchasing anything else, thats not how to retain customers

Can not express my satisfaction with Jared’s customer service. I was hesitant to go because I had a less than happy experience at the Virginia Beach location years ago but I needed my engagement ring resized so I bit the bullet and went to the Newport News location. Amy went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met and answer any and every question I had. Very happy with this location.

I had a problem back in January and my husband said we would no longer buy jewelry there anymore I had to go and get my ring inspected and while talking with the associate she mentioned they were Under New Management and to tell them about my issue the new manager has taken care of everything and we will remain loyal customers now, because they took the time to fix something that happened almost 6 months prior

DO NOT buy anything from the NN store, I had purchased 6 things in a matter of two months. Two pairs of hoop earrings that cost about 1,000.00 & in a matter of one month, bith pairs broke @ i was left with only the post in my ear. So I lost the hoop & did not know where i lost it.. I went to the store to see if they would replace the pair, I had the one earring left... & i bought the full warranty ... Thinking they would give me a new set, since i purchased them less than a month ago....like what am I gonna do with one hoop earring??? Then my second pair broke a week later???!!!! The store said they couldn’t do anything about it!!! If you take care of your customers, they will return!!!! Again & Again... never will I buy another thing from Jareds!

If I could give zero stars I would. Honesty, the employee and the manager spent more time telling us what they could NOT do for us than what they could.I picked out a lovely diamond necklace, $2,000.00 range. I needed a longer chain. They could NOT swap it out and just charge me the difference. I had to buy both chains. The 18 in and the 20 in I wanted.This was an exchange but we spent more money. They gave us a $200.00 discount on the original purchase (some kind of in store coupon). On the diamond necklace plus the additional chain they would only give us a $100.00 discount. They couldnt even explain why? Just because. The manager, Kayla acted like she enjoyed telling us No, just because. It made no sense to us.We explained we didnt even return everything from the original purchase. We kept a $1,300.00 ring which they gave us no discount. The discount was only for the items we were returning. So in end we spent an additional $350.00 and they took away a 100.00 discount. Just because. We are good customers, have spent a pile of money in that place. We told them we were not happy and they lost a customer. The manager, Kayla especially, could have cared less. She said, have a nice evening and flippantly walked away leaving us standing there with the sales person holding a $2,000.00 diamond necklace. This all over $100.00 discount on a total sale of almost $4,000.00. My husband wanted to tell them to keep it and get a refund but he knew how much I liked the necklace. So, he bought it for me anyway, even though the customer service by the manager was horrible. Almost insulting, really.The salesperson felt bad and told us, if she was the manager she would make it right but there was nothing she could do. Wow, I guess they have plenty of customers. They dont need us!
